Customer Service
I have had my account with Truworths for quiet a lengthy period now.
This month they happily placed me in their list of slow payers, when more often than not I pay more than the minimum and this time for an over sight, forbthe very first time ever, I was R50 short on payment.
Really what kind of service is this, I noted the error and also rectified it almost immediately, but playing the power hungry firm they are, they ignored my claims and has.
This is disgusting.
Desired outcome: That the slow payment status is change.

I moved from Strand to Vredehoek 1 December 2021.
I specially went in to Somerset Mall Truworths and ensured my address was changed and all details.
I get statement 12 December 2021 and the address is incorrect:
Court should be Square
Area left out ie. Vredehoek.
I call and they change the address and send a letter to confirm.
I go to do business at the bank and they refuse to accept the letter.
I then have to use my old address to open the accounts.
I get the next statement
no changes have been made. I call again.
I ensure the person spells out the changes.
Next statement : 12 February 2022
And now the no of the road and the road is left out.
Again I CANNOT HAVE A LETTER.
I WOULD LIKE A NEW STATEMENT.
I AM FED UP.
My previous address was also incorrect.

Administration is not up to standard.
This is most frustrating.
I feel I should not bother and should just close the account.
Admin say they cannot do a proper new statement for me.
Any accounting package can be changed.
Please can I get a replaced statement.
I am deeply frustrated and annoyed and an apology but no change can be done is not an apology.
Please assist.

I will now exercise my right to sue the company for blatant deferment.

Exchanged an item that was purchased on my account. Casual called him for assistance. He then without listening to me decided that the item was purchased at a discounted price. I tried to explained to him he is wrong and he started shouting at me telling me this is the system. We had a huge fight as he made a comment in zulu by saying that these white trash is upsetting my day! I understood him and took him on and swore at him calling him an idiot. He then made the statement in zulu again knowing that I understood him. By saying they didn't killed enough of u !
This is the people in charge of a branch. When I asked him for his name he only gave me his first name as he told us that nobody can touch him as he is the only manager there. And we can complaint they will not take action.
Desired outcome: He should not be working with the public. He put truworths in shame.
Account fraud
On the 28 January I paid my account with my ID card since I lost my truworth card on December, I paid R650,know on the 5th of February someone at vaal mall used my account and again on 6th February around 10 am someone in crester mall used my account. I don't know how but it happened. Today being 10th of February I recieved an sms saying I must pay R880 on 05 March, which I don't know. I pay my account the amount of R650 every month since 28 January and I was about to go and pay myR650 for end of February 2022.please help

I'm complaining about fraud on my truworth account
On the 37 January u paid my account at truworth west gate R650 using my ID book since I have lost my truworth card on December and rooted it in store on January.,but on the 5th of February someone managed to use my account at vaal mall and again on 6th February someone did the same using my account at Cresta mall.now today I have received the massage saying I owe truworth more than I now..please help

I placed a order on Friday afternoon for a Earth Addict top for a gift for my mothers birthday (13 feb) not knowing it takes 5- 7 working days for delivery to your branches (I was told by Robin) that it is in fine print and he understands that it was not seen.
I called Monday to find out how far my parcel is only to be told that it takes 5-7 working days to be delivered, I then requested to speak to someone who is able to help me out with my query I then got transferred to Robin Moodley from the online department (apparently his supervisor) I explained to him that its a gift and my mother is leaving Cape Town Sat and if there is a rush fee that I could pay to have the top at the store by Friday he then told me he will sort it out and call me back, it is TUESDAY AFTERNOON and I still have not received a call back, I have called 4 TIMES TODAY (nevermind the long wait you have to wait before someone answers), and every time I called they told me Robin is busy, this afternoon Zaid (I think that is his name) took my call and he said Robin is "available now"because I asked for management, (before I mentioned to him my name) he then said he will call Robin to the phone, when Robin heard it was me he told Zaid to tell me his not available, how UNPROFESSIONAL CAN A SUPERVIOR BE? I also work in a retail department and I know all the tricks! I told Zaid to tell ROBIN I AM NOT STUPID AND I KNOW HOW SUPERVISORS LIKE HIM OPERATE! all I wanted was just some assistance with my order, if the store employees also say that they have a problem with people from head office and I am just a 1st time purchasing client I would DEFNITLY ADVISE THAT THE STAFF GETS TRAINED because this was just UNACCPETABLE and to be treated like this is DISGUSTING! I feel that I will never order from Truworths online EVER AGAIN! to receive this disgusting service is not on, I will never treat my customers with that type of service even if I have a bad day at work! all ii asked for was just to have my parcel delivered to the store by Friday but I guess that was to much to ask for! I am deeply disappointed with Truworths Online department supervisor, and if this will not be resolved I will make it my way to have it resolved because I will not leave it like this I think it is just unfair!.

Good Day,
I bought shoes online, order number O300945405. The shoes were delivered to Truworths Man Boulders Shopping Centre in Midrand from Truworths Rustenburg. The right is dirty on the heel inside, it looks like the shoes was on display. When I first noticed this, I decided not to be cheeky about it, not to return the shoes or file a complaint because I really like the shoes.
Collected yesterday, today I am wearing the shoes and the right shoes is loose. When I walk it comes out

My daughter bought me a pair of shoes as a birthday gift at Truworth store Chris hani, during her visit last Saturday, the shoes doesn't fit me, i now decided to take them to the nearest store in Newtown Truworth today, when i approach the cashier i was told that i cannot exchange because i don't have a gift receipts, when i spoke to my daughter she even said she doesn't know if they were suppose to print the slip for her, my daughter is in Limpopo she will not come back soon, and i am in Johannesburg not planning to go back now. i was told that i have 7 days to return or i must get her ID and her Card, i said to the lady i have copies on my phone, hence i don't need the money they can credit her account back as it is no use for me to keep them. this is not like i want to buy something using her card, i need to return back to her account toogggg. should she have been told she should have ask the cashier to give the gift receipt, what will i do with the shoes that doent fit me,
i also have an account for year in truworth i think it is high time for one to also think of other stores and just also close my account as i would not want to be treated like a thief.
The manager was not even helpful, no ramous and not willing to assist.
Desired outcome: money to be transferred back to her account as the period of exchange of return soon will be over and really i cannot keep the shoes while doesn't fit me.

My wife bought cellphone from truworths goldenwalk germiston gauteng on the 26 july 2021 after a week it was having problem she took it to truwoths goldenwalk they said it was having problem with settings and again on the 12 november 2021 she took to truworth they took it.
and said it will go for repairs. december she went to check it if it was back from repairs they said they are still waiting for it. Today 20 january 2022 she went to check it they said is not back yet. my number is [protected]

Bad attitude towards a customer.
I visited truworths(shop no.1382) at groblersdal mall to pay my account i was assisted by employee no.2030569.i gave her R300 notes to pay, she scanned the cash and returned one note, claiming it doesn't scan.i told her i just withdrew the money from an Atm, without a reply she just processed the R200, and handed me the receipt.i walked to the manager.The said cashier laughed behind me.The manager clarified the cash scan process.i also reported the bad attitude i received but she never reprimanded the cashier for her attitude towards me.

I would like to report the Fitting room assistance with the name of Thabisa Nomsobo.
When I went into the fittings the service was appaling no greeting just grabbed my clothing and m when I came out from fitting room I was locked inside while she made fun with security to make me look like a criminal I would like to get feedback she is disgusting and I was treated like a poor criminal.
The service from till poit was excellent though I asked for her name at till point.
Desired outcome: Sanction her and need feedback on any action taken.

I was buying clothes using my card yes they were talking behind saying I stole my card told them my initial, day of birth and ID number even my address but they keep on asking me about the money how much I pay last month, where did I pay the money. I'm not happy about the service at east Rand mall(Naartjie ) they must not judge people by their clothes cos I saw the customer they didn't ask them anything and they just help them with out anything when they were using their card.

Would like to complain about the treatment am getting from truworths in Northgate .several occasions I went there shopping I would look another customers walking out after purchases not being checked today I went there to buy 2 items a lady walked out infront of me without being checked . A Gentleman asked me on my way out if am leaving I said yes then he asked to check my bag and receipt .why was the other customers not checked .have I ever given truworths Northgate any reason to doubt me and treat me this way I don't know .
Returning goods
Truworths JHB House. They refuse to take goods with a slip only. They demand ID or Tru worth Card. Yet the slip has all the details. Ezekiel Malungane refused to assist. Yet previous day a college returns a dress with a slip and the same stance was pulled.
Desired outcome: Stop the [censored] of wanting card or ID when returning goods and not buying or exchanging.
Bad service received
Poor service on return, the store does not have cash available to make a return! After getting Terrible terrible service! Makes their problem the customers problem! I can't actually believe it! Truworths, Mall of the he South!
Terrible Service Delivery
I initially purchased the dress in store at Eastgate shopping mall in size 6-7.
After fitting it at home, i then realized that the dress was small and that I should get one size up. Before returning the dress for exchange I called Naartjie East Rand Mall to enquire if they have the size that i need and if not, to let me know which store I can get it. The lady I spoke to advised they they do not have the size and then went on to advise that the branch in Menlyn has 6 in stock according to the system.
I was willing to travel all the way to Menlyn to get the dress myself but the lady advised me that it would be quicker for me to go to my nearest store and request an instore delivery which works faster when purchasing on account roughly 3 days. I went to my nearest mall immediately and did the refund because it was a cash sale and then purchased using my mothers Truworths account REF F100470429.
Its over 3 days, this order was done on the 16th of December and yet the dress is still not delivered. Why on earth are we misinformed by the staff ? My daughter needs to wear this dress on Christmas day and yet when i call to track the order i am told it will only arrive after Christmas day. Whats the use, you might as well keep the dress because delivery after Christmas defeats the purpose!
What makes me even angrier is that i am in this situation because of being misinformed by a Truworths employee.

Hi all I'm not 1 2 complain about service but I had to post this about Stanger truworths (kwadukuza mall) I visited the store today 1stly they didn't want to allow me in the store because I refused to use the sanitizer they provided... I had my own sanitizer which I used infornt of the security on entery...according to management it is policy to use the sanitizer they provide... As I choose the items I wanted and proceed to the till to pay the cashier called the manager as she need do allow the system to allocate my purchase as I dont have a card and I was using my ID... My account was opened in May 2021 and up to date no card has been received by me... once the manager got to the till she asked me if I have my id which I produced to her she then states she cannot use my ID because it has been stuck with tape and made me remove the tape to further investigate the id... I had to remove the plastic laminate to prove that the ID hasn't got tape.. Which she still refused to process as now my id came apart... They don't want to use my temp drivers license as they don't allow this... the manager of the store was rude not helpful at all I explained to her that I have used the same ID in other truworths stores before to make purchases and the same ID was used to to open the account... she rufused to help me and started attended to other customers in store... It's not my fault I didn't receive my card and I used the same ID to vote, do my drivers and buy my vehicle licensing with out any issues and not forgetting to open the account... I had to pay cash for the items and leave... Very dissapointing with the truworths staff at Stanger and they way they do business... Never will I shop there again and I will surely Inform others on how poor there people skills are... We as customers are paying for a services and expect good delivery not crap that I revived today...
