Vons loyalty requires 3 work-arounds

I purchased flowers today for Mother's day, the day before, yet no prices on the flowers. I asked a worker and they stated 7.99. At the register they came up much higher. So I provided my Vons loyalty card number. The price came down to only 12.99. I was informed I had to join another Vons program and log on once every week to get the 7.99 price.

So to show vons my loyalty I have to
1) enter my card number
2) log-in once a week to the vons web site to get other discounts
3) still bring in vons newspaper coupons to get further discounts

What price loyalty?

I will give you 3 months to fix.
If not I will start shopping at a better store

Vons product not ready

I have 3 24count cupcakes we ordered and paid April 28 and was supposed to be picked up May 8. We were not able to get it because of an important errand and I am here today ay Vons Montebello May 9 arrived around 10:05 and our order is not ready and the pastry manager and store manager dis not even bother yo quickly resolve the problem but instead made me wait 25 minutes as the pastry manager who also do the piping is on lunch and the store managers are on a "conference". This is how the customers are treated in this store? I am still waiting as of now for my cupcakes it's already 10:43.

Vons customer service, starbucks gift card

On May 3rd, I bought a Starbucks gift card for my daughter's birthday at Vons in Mission Hills San Diego, CA. She tried to load it in her Starbucks app, but she kept getting a message stating, "Card not activated".
Today, May 8th, I went to Vons to complain. First, the pharmacy person, who had just arrived, offered help. She told me that the Starbucks card number did not match the number from the packet. She said it was a different card. I had to call my daughter to confirm that was the card. She passed the issue to Kevin at Customer Services. She explained my problem and Kevin said that that has happened before with Starbucks and the numbers not necessarily match. I added that, actually, it happen to me before, but I did not complain because I did not have my receipt. Since it happened before, he gave me a Vons gift card. "Something they never do, " he added. He also mentioned that I could buy another Starbucks gift card, but they would not be responsible if it did not work because it was Starbucks error, not Vons. I was very upset to hear this. I was not going to buy another card and risk having the same problem and no solution! I also was not going to give my daughter a Vons gift card for her birthday! I insisted they were responsible. He insisted not their problem, but Starbucks, and there was nothing they could do. I suggested stop selling Starbucks gift cards since "they are the problem." He replied, "We can't do that". Who is responsible then? I am the costumer, not me. Please let me know when I can go back to buy Starbucks gift cards with the assurance they will be activated; and if not, I will find the solution within the store with polite staff. I, more and more, go to Vons because of convenience, not service. And now, it is turning inconvenient. Sincerely, Susana De La Cruz

Vons vons, 600 e. broadway in long beach — can't even keep basics in stock!

This store has been going downhill rapidly every since Albertson's took over. If I start liking a product that I purchase there, it is soon discontinued. They don't stock up on items they run on special which means at least half the time regardless of day or time the special I go in for is out-of stock. Today took the cake. Shopping at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Monday, the egg case is almost completely empty. The egg case for Pete's sake! Employees when questioned said somebody forgot to place an order. Really? Management of this store is incompetent. Are you listening Albertson's?

Vons checkout

Went to vons on saturn blvd san diego this morning. One cashier. Lot of customers waiting. No express checkout. When they did finally get a second cashier, they opened another line and didn't take me first after my waiting. I left without buy long anything. I walked across the shopping center to wal mart. No line. Plenty of cashiers. Used express checkout. Wont go back to vons on saturn blvd san diego.

Vons staffing

My store is in oceanside ca on old grove road. Recently I found one of your employees wearing a hijab. I burst into tears.
Whenever she shows up in the checkout line as a bagger, I go to anther line - I find this extremely offensive that she's wearing the sympol of muslim takeover this close to home. I'm not asking you to fire her but tell her not to wear this symbol in the store. It's a symbol of biting the hand that feeds her.
There are several other of your employees in my store who are of middle eastern descent they are assimilating into our culture and I know most of them affectionally by name. No problem with them at all. But this is totally unacceptable and a lot of your other customers feel the same. Stop her from wearing this symbol of trechary please. We really resent it.

Well since our new store has opened on catalina island, its worse then ever. Vons raincheck on yuban coffee $4.99

Your pharmacy is severely understaffed where they take personnel from meat department for assistance behind the counter. Only one pharmacist on duty no other help. I have had to wait 48 hours for refill of prescription. Do not treat staff or public like this or I will go other provider. Your new computer system is slow according to staff.
