I am complaining g about horrible service and horrible food
Hello my name is Fawn, I am a customer at waffle House frequently!, Last time I went to have dinner there with my family the waitress was very rude and had horrible body hygiene, not helping when we walked in the table was a mess, we ordered 2 1/2 lb double Angus burgers with hash browns off he same kind for both orders chunked, covered diced, well our burgers we're horribly sloppy and greasy! Our produce condiments were wilted and one of the orders of hash browns were made wrong after being repeated the order twice from the waitress and it didn't help the cook with shaggy hair wasn't even wearing a beard net or a hair net i am impalled with this place this is the most disgusting meal in my life and the money, and when we complained the waitress wanted to fight my husband and started cussing and being very disrespectful never again!
food was cold
Waitress was to busy flirting with other employee and totally forgot about my food on the counter for 5 mins till another employee ask who still had food out before she realized it was her tables food on top of never coming back to the table to offer refills or to ask about our food and continued to flirt the whole time at the waffle house in Wiggins ms 39577. Her name was kay. On top of that she also wrote our check before even getting the food we ordered.

I was given uncooked bacon, and when I called for my waitress, I heard her say I was getting on her nerves and could someone else take my table, I had to wait for a while to get a cup of coffee. I ask for a coffee and the waitress screamed dam. When I complained to the manager about the bacon, she said she cooked the bacon, but the bacon had not been cooked...

Visited your new Restaurant on Joe B. Jackson in Murfreesboro, TN this morning with my husband. Employees were everywhere but unfortunately we landed a waitress who was at the tail end of her shift and mentally was already out the door (Betsy). She asked what we'd like to drink twice - had to beg for creamer & sweetner. Got our order wrong (no cheese in the eggs) (no toast) then never saw her again. Cook had to bring jelly & correct order. Alternate waitress (Brit) refilled our coffee & brought the customer next to us silverware so he could eat (so slipped her the tip instead). Oh had to help ourselves to the syrup behind the counter also. Hoping to see changes at this location or heading to IHOP.
a worker
One of your waitress named Ashley Fleming is have sex with customer in the parking lot for drugs, and is smoking pot and and dope at the back door when she says she on her cigarette breaks . I find it outrageous that you would let someone work for waffle House with the things she's doing when on the clock . Makes me wonder what else does waffle House allow...

I worked at this Waffle House over a year. The store manager smacked my hands and treated me awful whole time I worked. Even though I never was late or missed without dr. Notice. I worked second shift the whole year except last month I was there. The girl who was also a server had a vindetta against me cause my sister used to date her husband years ago. Well the last day I worked, the server who didn't like me went through my tickets for customers while we were in middle of the shift and found a ticket I rang up wrong and gave customers ten dollars too much change back. She told the manager I put the ten dollars in my pocket. Well I was unaware what was going on when the store manager came to me and told me to clock out at ten thirty a.m. when my shift didn't end till two p.m. then I get letter of termination stating I took ten dollars from a messed up ticket and put in my pocket. Needless to say cameras weren't working. I got fired because I messed up one ticket for ten bucks. First time by the way. Got lied on by server who hated me. I was in cosmetology school as well and have had to quit school over this to so I can find another job to pay my bills. I'm a single mother of a two year old and it's hard enough to find job. Little long with a place saying I took ten bucks over the word of a server whom everyone knew didn't like me and they have no proof because I never took a penny and didn't even get asked about it or anything. I had never even been wrote up once the whole time I worked there. This happened last sunday. I don't know how I'm gonna pay my bills or nothing now.
racist manager
I have a Waffle House that is less than a mile from my home. Over the years, it became a favorite, and I'd read a newspaper or book while eating great food. Sometimes, a server would go above and beyond, and I would, if I could give a 50 or even 100 percent tip. I guess the word got around, and my treatment there was usually very good, no matter if I tipped a lot or just 20 percent.
About a year ago, management changed, and an African American female took over. She and her daughter (who was hired) were very loud, and didn't provide good service but expected huge tips and sulked if they didn't get what they thought they should get. The last time I was there, the manager took my table and interrupted my reading constantly, to the point she had to know she was being annoying. When I would tell her I didn't need anything, she say, "Yes MAY-AM!" in that stereotypical voice that you hear blacks use on television to indicate that they think that they are being treated like slaves. I was being polite, and treating her no different than others, but got this to the point where I just wanted to leave. She was not treating other customers this way, I looked up and noticed. When I paid my check, I gave her the standard 20 percent, though with her behavior, I didn't think she deserved it--the food was good and timely, so that's what got the tip. She looked at the tip, made a face of disgust, and walked away. I had had her daughter as a server before, and got the same "Yes MAY-AM!" treatment, so I'm not sure if they just hate white people, but I don't think so, because I was the one singled out. I was not going to say anything about this, but I've started going to a waffle house across town because I love the food, and have been getting wonderful service, friendly people. I saw a server that i remembered today, and we got into a conversation. She agreed that it was a really bad place to work because of this individual's racist attitude. Saying all of the above to say this--I didn't treat this manager any differently than any other person, no matter what race. I would not give a 'sub standard' tip (only 20 percent) to someone just because of the color of their skin. I don't want someone to suck up to me, or act out stereotypes which disrespect themselves as much as they disrespect me. I want to be able to go to my old WH rather than across town, but I don't want to run into this experience again. I think this manager knows how to be polite and appropriate, but has some personal issue against whites and found me a good target. I don't know what could be done about this, as we all need our jobs, could she be sent to cultural sensitivity training? I really don't want anything out of the ordinary when I go to a WH. A friendly greeting, quick and polite service, and that's all. But I had these experiences with this woman and her daughter. I was told by another server that she gives most of the hours and tables to her daughter. Don't know if that's true, but her behavior turned the place into a place I avoid rather than frequent.
ear-splitting rap music, employees powerless to turn it down
04/17/2019, waffle house on peters creek road next to i-81 in roanoke, va.
On our way home from the hospital (my wife had just had spinal surgery), we stopped to get lunch and were surprised to see that the restaurant was practically empty. Thinking this was a good thing, we sat down and ordered. The music was too loud, but it was not "noisy" (e.G. Darius rucker singing wagon wheel). By the time our order was served, the music had switched to violent, cop-killer rap at an increased volume. I don't believe anyone had adjusted the jukebox, rather the recordings were louder and the sound much more strident. By the time the 3rd rap piece was playing, I asked the waitress if she could turn it down some and she said she could not because "a customer had put money in the box". Subsequently, I heard her tell another customer the same thing. At that point, we left without finishing our meals and another customer or two did likewise.
My suggestions: at the very least, the staff should be authorized to turn down the volume when customers complain that the music is too loud and/or offensive. If that is not possible for some reason, the music selections should not contain anti-cop rap or political rants. If that's not possible, please remove the jukeboxes!
Correction - location should be Peters Creek Road near Rt 581 Exit 2, in Roanoke, VA.
poor management and customer service skills
First and foremost when I first arrived at Waffle House I was almost knocked over by the "manager on duty Ky" who was horse playing with another employee. Then when my order was called he lends on the grill for an additional 3-4 minutes before dropping any food; my server overheard my conversation with my sister and she told her manager to hurry up and drop...

Im a former employee of waffle house and my friend still works there. I quit becayse I was having to handle alot of racism and biased ways from management from and employees. Shanti has a best friend that comes down from out of town and works 50 hours in 3 days while other employess are only getting 25 or less. Paradise is her name. And she had made 4 employees walk out and quit but she stays and picks and bullies all of the white employees. It isnt right. They live and work together and paradise goes home and talks to chanti about employees and doesnt hear the other side and then your hours are cut... Or your not working a good shift so make no money. I loved my job. I left because im moving but since I left my friend calls me all the time crying about what they have said or done this time... It isnt right. Only 3 white people the rest black and they bully and get in this pact mentality. I also thought it was a rule that management couldnt live or hang out with employees.
Have you tried contacting corporate or if it's a franchise, the franchise owners? I'm not surprised to hear about racist blacks in the workplace. Really though, you may want to think about getting another job as who wants to works with marginal co-workers?!
meats
Your meats are horrible! I know the corporate [censored] don't care and I'm a regular customer. I've been eating in your stores for years but y'all just don't care! Your meats have too much fat on them, they are too thin cut and they just don't satisfy your customers. I just heard another customer say last night they didn't like them either! Y'all are a piece of [censored] company. When I order a Tbone or a sirloin I want it too be a $20 piece of meat not a five dollar piece of meat! Straighten your [censored] out and please your customers waffle house or I won't come back!
laziness while being paid to work
I want to eat at waffle house 231/431 highway Meridianville Alabama. I had to look around to see where there was a clean spot to sit at. Most of the tables weren't even wiped off. The counter needed to be wiped off, also. I noticed the manager standing and talking to a customer while he ordered his food. I ordered my food and while it was being prepared...

On March 2 I went to the Waffle House in Hope Arkansas. I purchased the sirloin breakfast...for 9 dollars and change. With tax the total came to 12 and change. I did not get a receipt however. I was checking my account balances today though and noticed a 17.27 charge on my card from this restaurant. How is this possible? Did the cashier add a tip? I got this food to go so a tip was not given. I haven't gone to the store to complain since i have no receipt but it really aggravates me that people steal like that. She probably does it all the time.
unfairly fired
I have been training for awhile at unit 1433 in sylva nc and I was supposed to start being a waitress on my own, however the new manager didn't think I was ready, I know I was ready and I have been working very hard and enjoyed working and he would not even give me a chance to be on the floor without a trainer and fired me while also telling me that he has seen my dedication when working.
service
The server is more worried about the older man getting their stuff then check in on her other tables every time I go here and whenever I have her she never checks back on on us this is ridiculous I waited at least five to ten minutes to get to to go boxes and then I didn't even have to ask her I had ask another associate she does this all the time to me I have a great day if she would check on the more she would get at least a five dollar tip or more
manager and associate.
5:30 on 2/11 pull was still on cart. 3:30 on 2/12pull still out. Tags back door on 2/11 but not on 2/12. Scott was grill op on 12. Kim self and i heard her talking about retaliation on employee who went over her head to district manager. On 12/21 Scott hannan got in my face trying to bully me. Chest bumping me. He also put his hands on Shakira or Chaunta...

On saturday, feb 9, 2019 my husband and I stopped at waffle house for breakfast, this was around 11:00 am so not exactly ruch hour for either breakfast or lunch. When we entered the restaurant we noticed 5 or 6 people working behind the counter and 3 tables that had not been cleared. After waiting a table was finally cleared and we sat down. No menus were offered and we had to reach up onto the counter to get a menu. After waiting for almost 10 minutes we were told that our server would be with us in a few minutes. This restaurant was not busy during this time and staff were talking to each other. The server came to our table and took the order and brought our coffee a few minutes later. 15 minutes after that we finally received part of our food. We had to ask to get a refill on coffee, none was offered. My husband had seen the food sitting on the pickup table for several minutes before it was brought to us, the food was cold upon arrival to our table and there was not bacon with the meal. After having finished most of our cold meal we asked about the bacon and were told that it was now being cooked. The overall experience was horrible. We eat at waffle house quite often and have never had such bad service, even when the restaurant was full. The manager, shannon did adjust our bill and removed the price of one of the meals. When we went to pay the person taking care of our bill, questioned the "mess" on the ticket seeming to imply that we had made the changes to the original bill.
Why didn't you just ask them to heat up your food? Were you too tired from having to reach up to the counter to get your menu?
cleanliness and service
My husband and I often eat at Waffle House when traveling because we like the food, service and cleanliness of the restaurants. Well we stopped at this Waffle House around 11:30 pm after a 2 hour flight. Seeing 2 security guards in front of the restaurant really made us feel more secure. Upon entering there were about 4 tables being served, not too busy. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes for service. A waitress finally went to a young man seated and not yet working and asked him to get our order which he did. I then went to the restroom and the floor needed to be mopped plus there was water on the floor and there was no toilet paper. The men's restroom was out of order. The food was fine but when we informed the young man waiter that we needed our check he told the woman who kept talking to her customer friends not bothering to stop. When she finally came over with our bill I informd her that the restroom had no toilet paper and she acted as if it was nothing new or nothing that concerned her. This Waffle House really needs some good management and a good cleaning. I would advise people to go to other Waffle Houses but stay way from this one in Atlanta GA. We were there on Jan. 26, 2019.
I am complaining about the abuse and the disrespect
I came in to order a chicken biscuit with cheese the waitress tried to get the cook to cook my food and she refused then when she finally decided to cook my food she kept a yelling at the waitress saying stand on your mark I don't know what that means and the waitress was just trying to get my food cooked and she she said we if u don't imbalance not cooking your food and kept walking to the back but she was not being that way to the male server she wasn't laughing about it with him I just felt very uncomfortable and by the time I left the waitress was in tears I felt very sorry for her and I don't think think that that was how a public restaurant should run. I will not be going back there.
both product and service
I went to this Waffle House the food was awful the omlet was grease. When my husband and I asked to speak to the Manager name Darcel she was extremely rude and desrespectful. She asked my husband why did he eat half the omelet? He told her that he did not want another omelet but just to bring it to her attention. She walked away from my husband and I while...
