I came in to eat Monday night my server was a lady by the name Michelle was a good server but I grew concerned as she stayed outside for a long time and when I went to pay she instructed me to leave my money on the table witch I left fifteen dollars or so and never received a ticket like the others in the store as I walked outside after watching her pick my money and put it in her pocket and never touch the regestar I sat in my car as I watched her walk out side to smoke again I got out of my car to ask for directions when I walked around the corner she had a methamphetamine pipe in her had she then jumped and handed it to what I believe is her boyfriend this is a big concern for me as it should be to the manager of this store as well

Tonight, August 25th 2017, my grandmother and I are traveling back to Raleigh NC from St. Louis. After 8 hours of driving we saw the sign for Waffle House and were excited to pull over and have some coffee and waffles. We eat at the Waffle House on Hillsborough street in Raleigh NC weekly and have incredible service. We walked into this particular Waffle House in TN at 8:15pm and were not greeted nor given even a glance of recognition. We attempted to ask if a particular table was ok to sit at because it didn't look clean but it was not dirty either. No one answered us so we sat down. There were no menus on the and we tried asking for one but no one would give us one. The waitress whose section we sat in was clearing a table. After she moved the plates to the low bar and wiped off the booth she then put the dirty dishes back on the booth and still did not acknowledge us. At 8:20 two more tables walked in. She took their drink order but still not our. She walked past us and apologized that she would be right with us. There were only 3 people at the high bar, one person in the booth next to the high bar, my table (2 people) a booth of 4 (who she served before us) and a booth of two people with 4 or 5 waitstaff working. At 8:30 she gave the table their drinks and then walked up to us and said, "sorry I have to use the bathroom. I'm going to go and I'll come back and take your order." When she came back on the floor she stood waiting for the grill op to call the other tables food (who got there 10 minutes after us) and still did not even ask us if we wanted something to drink or set us up with silverware. She then asked someone else to come help us and everyone told her it wasn't their section. Meanwhile other sections were being served and they sat down in the restaurant after us. At 8:35 a table walked out because no one would help them either. Finally at 8:45 the male associate took the table of two sitting in the booth behind me who had just walked in. We asked him if he could please assists us since we have been waiting for 30 minutes and he said with an attitude "No, I'm not your waiter." My grandmother and I left the restaurant after that comment. I understand it was the end of their shift but this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had in my life at a Waffle House let alone any restaurant. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and rude.

My son Timothy Ferguson work s at the waffle house in elkton md on elkton rd I walked in to see how long he would be when some girl with green hair is yelling at my teenage so to help her with the tables with only two customers in the store he at the time just got finished with the cleaning as I could clearly see as I pulled up I feel he should be apologized to for being talked to any old kind of way she quickly got quite as she realized he was my son this made me very unhappy

Store employees where using profanity, behaving unprofessionally and speaking and acting in a sexual manner. Manager picked up an employee and turned her upside down next to the cooking station. Employees were being excessively loud to the point of not being able to hear anything the person across the table from me was saying. The food was cooked well and there were a couple of employees that were professional and worked well but overall, the experience was not satisfactory and we will not be returning. The time we spent at this establishment was between 1:00p.m. and 2:00p.m. on my birthday August 19th 2017. Worst 21st birthday experience I could've had.

I had to leave the store I waited because of the long waiting for my food. I waited for 45 minutes and didn't get it. Luckily I took a day off and was not in rush, but what about other customers? The store wasn't overcrowded and there were only two other customers, so it's strange why I wasn't served.

I called in my order. Once arriving my order was incorrect because it was missing items. I called back to get my missing items and they were going to be ready upon arrival. After realizing my order was incorrect one again I called multiple times to get the problem fixed. My order was cold and not prepared to standards. I experienced poor customer service and I would like my money back.

Waffle house on Central Avenue in Hot Springs, AR. Use to be one of the best ones. Recently it has been a slum. Staff are not clean the tables are not clean when u go in, today the floors were disgusting with food and trash everywhere. The waitress wouldn't even take orders one went out front and one went out back. Im assuming it was to hang out with all the men that stay outside on regular basis. The music was so loud u couldn't hear yourself think.the other staff that was still in there were on their cell phones. So with that said, we paid for our drinks and left. Please get this waffle house back to the nice way it used to be so when people vacation in this tourist city they can eat there. Thanks for listening.

Called WH on lakeland dr. In flowwod, ms at 5:42a on Aug. 6 twice. 3rd. Time waitress picked up. I told her i want to place and order. She told me hold on. I stayed on the phone til 5:58a as i was pulling into an empty parking lot. The cook was outside smoking while on his phone. I asked were they open he hesitated then said yeah. I told him i have been on hold for about 15 min. Hes said they have been cleaning up. 2 waitreses were sitting down inside when i pulled up. I asked for the stores number then i went on to work.

The reason I chose to inform you of my experience involves my experience which was painfully eratating.
I first walked on and the waffle machines were filthy and looked as if they had not been cleaned in days.
The floorhadnt been swept, and the noise level was ear piercing. I sat at the counter and an employee was hitting dishes together without thought of the noise she was making. Every employee was. Talking through out my stay. There was no effort towards the noise comfort level what ever, and moreso it was a party which the guests weren't of concern . The nose included the slamming of silverware and hard banging of dishes and loud outburst by employees. And the dropping of items . The chefs were least responsible of my complaint.
The level of dirt on the kitchen floor was obvious at least .
I will compliment the individual employees for their positive attitudes as wel their willingness to please minus their lack of complacency to which they are keeping an eye in their customers needs.
Though a young lady did come by my table (after I move get get away from the extremely loud dish washing.) she asked if everything was ok and she did smile.
Clearly the team of employees were gratuitous and extroverted .
One could not faultl their enthousisdm, however they all as a group lack the perspective of their customers regarding a barrage of unseemly loud noises and constant yelling which would have made having a conversation if I'd had company challenging if not impossibly.
I think they're loud banter and complete insensitivity to the noise they make would be good in an enclosed space far away from the customers, but coming here is not an experience to relax and have a meal. But rather a seat at a food prepretory noise making contest.

Again, the positive and friendly attitude of the employees can't be faulted as they are good people who work very hard.
If however this were my restaurant, I would make the noise level make not underscore the background music . And make it a priority that employees have an understanding of completing tasks without making the most noise possible .
I believe this should have been a relaxing breakfast and instead I can't wait to pay my bill.

i would like to say last night i had the worst customer service ever in my life at your acworth ga location off baker rd. One of your employee was so rude i left and im also calling corporate office. I come in sit down and ask the employee tabby was it something wrong with there phone, she said no, she just have a trainee she training that she would be right with me shortly i said ok. So i waited about 20mins and watch two other customers come in after me and she serve them before me. I ask her why she said because its only two of us in here. I ask what does that mean, she said what do you want im taking your order now, i said nothing now. I ask her what was her manager name to the store, Tabby told me to figure it out. I said okay. Now i been coming to waffle house for a very long time and i know waffle house does not train there employee to act that way. Im very upset with this situation. I thought about calling the news because i felt racially profile. The customer that come in after me was white. Thank you for your time

Floyd virgil is still harrasing me even after I explain to management how uncomfortable that made me and asked jimmy perkins what should I do... He said he didn't believe my practices, im very offended.. Ive been under attack from mr virgil before he's even ivolved other employees in business pertaining to this exact matter to inform me about my beard. I asked could I get a beard net.. Jimmy perkins said they do not pay for them and I would have to find it on my own..

Waffle house of Newport tn 37821 went on July 31 2017 we ordered the all star meal and the t bone steak. First off server seemed out of it second she came back asked if over easy was runny yolk and whites cook should have known this second my salad came with the meal it sat next to grill while food cooked it was wilted lettuce no crunch or crisp to it she brought it with steak no steak knife asked in beginning for grilled onions and mushrooms had to wait on those as well which took a while and where not grilled just warmed up the waffle took like 25 minutes to get we have eaten here alot and was good but tonight was terrible the steak had a strange taste I couldnt eat it like a brown substance in it just not right at all I didnt complain to them didnt see like it would really matter at all anyways thanks amber miller

My friend ordered a breakfast I think is called All American, this inc Eggs, Toast, Grits, Meat, and a Waffle. For $7.95 and a water. Asside from having to
ask THREE TIMES for water, and them having to make the saussage gravy for
my biscuits (which they served cold once the gravy was ready). We get our checks and his says $7.95+$1.95=$11.85+$0.77 tax for $12.62 when we asked
where the BACON was (we were done and trying to leave) She 'took it off' and the new bill said $7.90 inc tax? She then explained that w/o the bacon the order is no longer an All American and would be charged differently. I said "only because YOU DID NOT BRING THE BACON"? She then went into a rant about we been there 3hrs, I can demonstrate by smart phone logs and the charge on my credit card _EXACTLY_ how long we were in the store (I ran a speed test as I was sitting down). I have an image of the friends check. Oh she also said that I always complain about her service, I don't remember ever having been waited on by her in the past, I eat there several times per week and always have had great service.

I went to Waffle House and order some food about 3 weeks ago and made a complaint to them about the omelette grits and toast that I received the Omelette was burnt the first time they brought it to me and then they brought me another outlet and it was burnt and greasy and I turn that back in so I did not eat that night and tonight I get off of work and I went and ordered another omelet grits and toast and it was burnt and I turned that in so I did not eat again tonight because they keep messing up my order not to mention my lady friend ordered the same thing I had and she had the same thing it was burnt and she complained about it so we turn that in so it's been four times I went to Waffle House and the order has been messed up and I'm had to turn it in not to mention the cook that was cooking I sat there and listened to him speak to our waiter or waitress and said that the omelet was not going to come out better I'm not sure if you are used to having brown eggs but I'm not so I would like this problem resolved or some type way fix the I don't know how you're going to do this but please get back with me on this thank you

We stopped at the dauphin island parkway location for dinner and the waitress hands us plastic to go silverware. I asked her for a real fork and she said they are in the dishwasher. We then order our food and drinks we are the only 4 people in there and she will not bring us our drinks. I then ask for a real fork and she only brings me one! Nobody else gets one! I have been to a lot of Waffle Houses and this is by far the most rudest inconsiderate staff I have ever encountered. I almost feel like my family was discriminated against. I've been going to this Waffle House for 6yrs an i never heard such inappropriate behavior in my 68yrs of my life the i guess supervisor Alisha the way she carries on about how upper management an guess the way she does her exact word were i no upper management talks [censor] about me but i dont care an i no my employees do to an after that was said she went on talking to another person about a young lady that walked in the door about how big her back side was an how she would like a piece of that i no upper management dj an Debbie they are just wonderful people but just to hear a supervisor talk like that in front of guests is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful an i will not be coming back to that store an i will also let my family no the same
not informed about upcharges and order was not right
I went to Waffle House on 1450 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126 on Thursday, July 27, 2017. I've gone to this location many times. The last 3-4 times I've gone, the food and service have been poor. On the 27th, when I went, I had ordered a hash brown bowl as a takeout. I was told that my order would be $7.10. Once I got there, the order was $8.27 - including $.50 for the onions I added, and $.75 for take out service charge. I told the waitress that I should have been informed of these extra charges. Once I got home, no onions had been added to my order; and the food made me nauseous. I called to speak with the manager, but he had "just left." I left a note for him explaining that I wanted my money back for such poor service and food preparation. I'm not sure if he ever got my note. I called back on Friday, July 28th to speak with the manager. I was informed again that he had "just left." Needless to say that I will not be returning to this location and may not return to in Waffle House location at all.

Waited 30 minutes at first restaurant. Said there was a group but only one other table occupied. Went to second restaurant and waited 30 minutes for food then everyone got theirs but me. Took another 15 or 20 minutes. They blamed it on many things. Horrible service, horrible people. My husbands favorite place but i won't be back in a waffle house if this is how they operate now. Wasted my entire evening and the food wasn't even good. Stay away from both these locations.
no bags, no "to go" condiments, slow service
Last night went to the Waffle House in Jennings, Louisiana. First of all, there was approx. 8 people in the place! It has been my experience this is not very busy for a Waffle House! The service was so slow, I really should have left! Approximately 45 min to get to go order! I ask for condiments to take. There was none! No bags either to carry order.
I am complaining about salesman employee (kandretta)
I was eating at the 9927 old dogwood rd -Waffle House. We got our food and immediately after she grabbed a bottle that contained bleach. She started spraying bleach on the floor while we were eating. She sprayed every corner of the building and never opened the door. The smell was very strong that we could not continue to eat. Employee kandretta had major attitude and very rude after speaking with her about the smell. After I talked to her she said she would mop it to take care of the smell very sarcastically. She took forever to get the mop and did not care that she was ruining our appetite.
