My husband, my son, our seventh month old, and myself ate dinner tonight at the Madison, Ga location on Eatonton Highway. By far, worst appearance, cleanliness, and rude manners of the waitresses that served us there that I have ever had to experience at that Waffle House since we have been coming there.. Our waitress (never caught her name) continued to talk and talk while our family was trying to eat. Even after she walked away, she continued to stare at us while biting her nails. That's disgusting. Also might I add, she had nasty looking sores all over her arms. Some were covered up by huge bandaids. Seeing her carrying our food to the table with her sores touching our plates made us lose our appetite before even eating. The other waitress was so loud and obnoxious it almost made us feel uncomfortable. She continued to talk to us while we ate talking off the wall about random topics. Talked even after she walked away across the restaurant. Made random and weird commments. Almost like she wasn't all there in the head. All these events that I mentioned above occured the entire time we were there. Our waitress even touched our seven month old on the arm.
We felt the need to immediately wipe his arm with his wipes after the fact. Needless to say I am highly disappointed! Our family has been eating here for years. I have never felt this way about this location before. Usually we have no issues with our waitresses. The ones that we normally see are like family. Now, we will never go back to that location. I am really in shock still at what we saw and experienced tonight. To cut to the chase, our first thought was that both women were strung out on drugs. I hope that these issues can be resolved for the sake of our community. Please and thank you.
the way the manager at 2144 treats the only white employee she has
I went to eat at the Waffle House on Jim miller and 30 and the black manager had black employees standing around on there phones and doing nothing but she steadily kept calling on and demanding the only white girl thereto do stuff. I can't believe there is a racist working at Waffle House I'll never go back to a Waffle House if that is the kind of people y'all want managing talks store

You come into this store and it's like a bar the music is loud people r loud they don't wait on you for about 15 minutes they're rude. The whole thing is just uncomfortable. They had barely anything they walked slow wouldn't try to do anything the spoons and forks were not clean the music was so loud you couldn't talk softly at a table. The food was horrible. The floor being the counter in the kitchen area was so filthy!

Bacon cheese steak melt - all meat under cooked. Service lacking. 3 of 4 employees rushed outside to smoke. Usually the Siloam Springs, Ar. Waffle House is not bad...really! Tonight 6/30, at 8pm it was dirty. Raw bacon on my sandwich and under cooked cheese steak, under cooked hash browns. Suddenly we were all alone with one girl singing a song about the number of minutes she had left to work and 3 employees outside smoking, including our waitress who 'never' came back to check on us.

Up until yesterday which was June 20, 2017 I worked for Waffle House and I worked at unit 179 in Louisville, Ky. On 3rd Shift. About a week and a half ago4 the drawer was short about $30 which management ask us to pay it back between all of the servers, but as I hear it they are not supposed to do that .But we do it anyways and sign a piece of paper. Well another incident June 19th 2nd shift the drawer was counted and found to be about $29.50 short, I
Told them I would not sign the paper and I told the manager the only way I would sign the paper is if you looked at the cameras and seen exactly what happened to the money, which I would think they would want to do that anyways. Because when it comes down to it the manager who counted the drawer could have taken it or the other server could have done it. But they said that's not what the cameras for, but if that's not what they're for here would like to know what they are for, I don't even really care to have my job back. Just want to get Justice and about 90% of the people there smoke pot including the manager Force anyways immediately the next day and worked for about 1 hour and then he came in and told me he had to let me go now I would like to know where the proof is that I didn't you thing wrong didn't take any money the first time and I didn't take any money the second time but I still got fired where no justice about 90% of the employees smoke pot including the manager meaning everything supposed to be doing is not being done even by the management but I really don't care if I have my job back. It is that I just want two seek Justice and look at all the evidence and find out why I was fired .I want to prove that I did not take any money. Please look into this as soon as you can, the manager's name is Keith I told him I was going to call corporate and he would like you're not the first one to threaten me they probably didn't do it but I told him I am going to contact someone. He also told me no hard feelings, but I have a 3 year old boy and a 9 year old that i am trying to support so i dont know how it gets any harder than that. drug dealer working at waffle house 3rd shift
Wendy Whitt was arrested from the Waffle House in Easley on a felony drug charge of trafficking meth. An employee there told me that She has sold drugs to customers & employees. I am shocked my local Waffle House would let her keep her employment, She should not be working in a family restaurant where my kids eat. I observed a server there be sent home by management so that she could work tonite. I will not be returning to this location.

We entered the Waffle House in hillview Kentucky it was very busy so we understand the wait but when we ordered our food the guy was picking the waffles up with his bear hands and was touching his phone before he did that he also touched other people's waffles like that. We also ordered bacon and sausage and didn't get either and we also ordered over easy eggs and got scrambled instead. I was just very disgusted with the way the server was handling the food
poor management and poor customer service
Walked into the restaurant and a couple of guest were just sitting their two employees in parking lot three employees cleaning two standing talking amung themselves, one of the ladies told me it would be a 25 min wait they can cook they have to clean the store before seven so I asked for a cup off coffee about 15 minutes went by and still no coffee and no one even took our order this is very unprofessional

I'm sending this complaint because one of your cooks at store number 963 is not washing her hands and not wear gloves and cooking after handling nasty towels. Her name is Tonya and she has a addituted at the server's and the customers. My husband ordered his Bacon med and she gave the server a go to hell look and got mad about it. If this goes on and the health inspector goes in there she will end up getting y'all a bad score. This needs to be taking care of asap. And to let y'all know that Dawn and Maryanne and Jason are awesome. We go in there all the time. But if this matter is not fixed we will not keep going.
manager not changing gloves from cleaning to food
Went to Waffle House today and as I sat at the bar waiting for my food which took fourty-five minutes anyway. I watch the manager cleaning the service line. She then without changing her gloves went and started cooking food and handing the plates off. Needless to say I didn't eat my food after seeing raw eggs drip from her glove on on to a cooked waffle.

6 people working we've been sitting at our table for 10 mins and there are empty tables so there not busy. They have all walked past us several times and we're sitting at the front door. Seems like if you're working for tips you would jump at the chance to serve someone. Maybe it's because we're white. Oh now they offered to take 50% off the check.

My name is Mark my family and I visited the Forsyth location as we rented a room next door on our way to disney world in orlando it seemed like everyone was working well and polite with the exception of our waitress I didn't get her name on account of her lack of interaction with us we were probably seated twenty minutes prior to having our order taken and getting drinks the food was great I approached the counter to pay and our waitress was at the register eating what appeared to be a pork chop while she talked to friend's seated at the bar stools opposite the register this went on for a minute or two before she realized I was standing there I overheard the friend asking if they had been busy and she replied yes but I haven't made any money to which I can fully understand why finally taking my payment I asked her about the discount my hotel advertised that you provide as a guest she rolled her eyes at me and gave me the discount I personally didn't TIP her which was difficult for me being a delivery driver and tipped employee myself I'm generally overly generous but the waitress in the camo hat and camo undershirt was probably the worst waitress I've ever had the food was great though this isn't representative of the store itself she is just not the first impression you want your customer to have we were there may 31 around 9

2 women working at Waffle House on Laurens Rd. - Amy and Jocelin and 2 men - Cory and Robert. I went in to have lunch and these 4 people were loud, rude and very unprofessional. They were using profanity and telling customers about another woman who was working that day. They were bullying her and she was crying. They were taking her tips and making her miserable. I couldn't get a straw for a while. My food was cold when I finally got it and I never got a refill on my drink. I am hard working and just needed to eat and get back to work. These staff members were awful. Since the one cook named Jason left this place is in a shambles. Where is management? Why are they allowed to act so unprofessional?

I went there about 3am in the morning on sunday or monday to take out food and coffee with my friend. One of white skinny lady(waitress), she just starring at us with bad attitude and came to us and not even greeting. Something like mad to us. I order only one food. Because my friend is not feel like to eat. And the lady said you guys order only one food? For 2 person?
I went so many waffle houses, but this is worst experienced and so rude service. So I didn't give her tip. I'm not good in english and there were kind of many customers so I couldn't say anything that time. But It makes remember everyday.

I recently visited your new restaurant at 2500 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119. It was a very pleasant experience. Although they were very busy, I was warmly greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. I asked the young man behind the counter a question and he was very open and friendly to me. A young lady behind the counter was singing softly and had a great voice. I will be sure to return to that restaurant.
In stark contrast, the next week I stopped at your restaurant at 2940 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122. This was a totally different experience. I received no greeting and the entire time I sat at the counter I had to listen to the women bickering about who was or was not doing their job, in particular who was washing the dishes. One of the cooks was on his cell phone the entire time he was cooking food on the grill. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant. I know why there was only one or two customers there.

Today I went into Waffle House off SR 90, Midway, Florida. I ordered a porkchop dinner (2 chops, hash browns & a salad). The total for this meal $10.25. They did not have any lettage to make a salad. I was officered hash browns, but extra carbs was no substitute for a salad. YET THEY REFUSED TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS IN THE PRICE. Stating Waffle House has a Strick rule on substituting food items. I was forced to pay 3.65 for a salad they could not provide. This is very poor customer service. Can not provide the meal but refusing to adjust the price.
Same restaurant on 3/26/17. They charged me $2.10 for a coke to go. Then I was handed a SMALL coffee cup (12 oz) and told they did not have any large cups. For $2.10! I am on travel status so I was limited were I was going to eat. But this is really bad service.
hamburger overdone, and condiment tray and condiment bottles were nasty
After the meal was placed on the table I reached for the mustard bottle and discovered that the bottle and as a matter of fact all the bottles of condiments were nasty. The silver metal condiment holder looked as if it had not been washed/cleaned since the Waffle House was opened, many years ago. It actually ruined my appetite.
However, I was still gonna try to eat my burger meal, and discovered the hamburger was so touch I couldn't even cut it with my knife. I did present that to my waitress and she brought me another one which was ok but at that point I just was too grossed out by the nastiness of the condiment situation.

I have only been with this company for about 3 months. And may i start off by saying this by far is the worst environment and the most mentally exhausting job i have ever had in my 25yrs of working ( in a resturant) i have ever had. Nothing could top the problems this store has.
My first encounter was when management staff had addressed a foodcost issue we were having on 3rd shift. Ending that meeting with a server being fired for theft. Well it was addressed that if not fixed we all would be terminated next. Anyway later that night i witnessed one of our cooks giving away food, taking orders without writing or asking anyone to write a ticket and collecting and pocketing whatever he collected from the guest. This has been an ongoing PROBLEM for a long time with him.
However after the shift was over i went to my gm and explained to her what i had observed. Now our district her boss is also her husband. I assumed while she was having conversation with her boss about it the cook over heard her. And from there my life has been a nightmare.
My job that i actually enjoyed became a place that i can no longer tolerate. Sence then i have been called names told that i look like a man and as a white women i have no ### i have man hands and it goes on and on. Now because of the location the majority of our customers are african american and because this cook is of same nature they JOIN in and laugh and make fun of me as well. We also have another server witch is his friend and she also has made remarks about my body me being white and humiliating me in front of a packed resturant . some of her family or friends im not sure went as far as practically beating on restroom door while i was trying to use facilities. When i came out her friend was in my face yelling telling me " ### get the ### up here and make my food" i replied excuse me she stated " u heard me u dumb white ### take me ###ING ORder and hurry the ### up before i beat ur ###" i wanted to cry cause everyone including Kenya and Boyd the cook were laughing. I ran straight for back door to call police to make them leave cause i replied to the young lady who was a child to dismiss herself from the resturant and she refused and continued to threaten me .
As i exit the back of the store i was calling police while talking and walking around toward the front the girl and her group of friends she was with had gotten into there car. Yelling at me from vehicle i started to turn around and go other direction when the girl or whoever was driving stuck a gun out the window aimed it at me and cocked it. Then begain to scream pow pow die white ### die. I ran aroynd the back of the store hiding fearing for my life. I really thought to myself unbelievable i could not believe that this waa happening to me and couldn't even think of why someone would even do that.
I ended up having wait for police so they could ESCORT me back in to get my belongings and they had waited with me outside until i had left safely.
Now help me to understand why i being pushed called names physically threatned . all because i tried do the right thing and secure my job. By helping stop the theft.
Now tell me why both these employees still have there jobs and are still up in my face yelling at me making fun and doing everthing possiable to keep me from making money . i have reported this to management and to corporate. And why am i again making a complaint because again i had leabe my job last night cause DONTAE was screaming and flipping out on me for going to management ans reporting his stealing again. And again like last time my boss treated me like ###. Mad because i left and didnt stay to continue to be abused harrassed and i guess enjoy the racial comments being mad me.
I have had enough this time i will take my documented dates and times and recordings to kentucky labor board and to an attorney office. I am now documenting this complaint im filing to this Corp. Office for my records. Along with my names and phone numbers of guest who have witnessed all of this and were furious over how i was being treated to an attorney office as well. Thank god i had two wemon who are above all this racist crap and came to my aid to help me do whatever it takes to defend my rights as a white 40yr old american women. price variation from one waffle house to another
I recently purchased coffee and a bacon lover's blt, and I asked for regular toast instead of the grilled texas toast. The waiter charged me $5 (Free coffee) , as listed on the $5 menu. Several days later, we went to a different waffle house and I ordered the same thing. The waitress charged me for the coffee. When I inquired about it, she said that since I didn't get the texas toast, she had to use the regular menu prices. Is this true? It seems since you saved money by me asking for regular toast instead of the texas toast, why would you charge me more?
