Actually, I use Great Value products on a regular basis, but with two caveats: 1) I NEVER use generic dairy products (which is almost all of what you said you have tried) and 2) I never expect name-brand quality or performance from generic products.
You seem to have gone into these purchases without the correct mindset. While generic products can sometimes be a good way to save money, you never consider them an equal replacement for the real thing - that way you aren't disappointed when they don't perform well, but you are pleasantly surprised when they do.
With that said, however, I have used many Great Value products in the past and continue to do so now that I have been happy with including, but not limited to, cereal, kool-aid, uncooked pasta noodles, etc. I have also used Great Value products that I have been very unhappy with including, but not limited to, paper towels, paper plates, some canned vegetables, etc.
It is definitely a trial-and-error process with generic products and you have to be willing to put the time and effort into finding which ones will work for you and which ones won't. Otherwise, just purchase name-brand.

Are you a ###ing ###? Complaining because the coupons aren't good enough for you. Maybe they should just stop coupons all together.Maybe they should file a complaint on you because you use coupons and they don't get enough money from you.
It's dumb-### like you that make ratings and reviews nearly useless. Your to ###ing stupid to rate a product or service. You have to rate something completely irrelevant. I trust you have thousands of complaints on here for all the places that don't even have coupons(gas stations, Starbucks, your daughter's Girl Scout troop, etc.).
I honestly can say I been there I have seen bathrooms in Walmart that looked a mess. They need to really put staff in there to take the time to clean up because being a woman i should not have to feel like i should stand up to use the rest room
Your walmart has been revised just like the one in Lees Summit, MO. Hell, the employees don't even shop there any longer because they can't find anything they USED to buy there. Stand in any corner of the store and you'll here people muttering to themselves that they can't find anything, merchandise they used to buy at walmart is completely gone now, etc. HATE WALMART? DON'T SHOP THERE ANY MORE BECAUSE IT'S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. WALMART'S FOCUS IS ON CHINA NOW. (NY TIMES ARTICLE EVEN EXAMINES THIS TREND.) AMERICANS DON'T COUNT AT WALMART ANY MORE.
Betty at Walmart in Crystal Lake, IL, who was a manager in May of 2003, interviewed me for a position. She asked me a question about when and how long it took me to get training at Target in Ogden, Utah, and I answered wrong. She then said I was slow, and one of her employees who was in on the interview with me and Betty agreed. Then they both laughed at the fact that I was slow.
If you put it on a credit card, they can look up the card number and print you a duplicate receipt but just ask for a REAL MANAGER to start with, don't start at the bottom.

We have been using the Wal Mart "Great Value" brands for the last year or so. I have come to the conclusion that you stand MAYBE a 30% chance of getting a Great Value brand item that is equal in quality to a name brand. That being said there is a 70% chance that the item will be lesser in quality to a name brand. I have decided that the odds are not in my favor to get a quality product so I am not purchasing the Great Value brand anymore.
I also shop at Costco and have found that their house brand "Kirkland" in most instances exceeds the quality of name brand merchandise. Case in point is their Kirkland canned Tuna Fish, It is the best canned tuna I have ever eaten.
Walmart has there buy a extended warranty we fix it in any condition. Thats a crock of bull i had a fan going out and keys fall off and they said it was dropped and they would not fix it. Do not buy a extended warranty from them it is a rip off .
I purchased a cash card on July 21 and placed $500.00 on my card. I was NEVER given a receipt or an activation number. I have been tyo the walmart 4 times now and they are still unable to bring up my receipt like ive been told could happen. I need the money and cant even get a refund for it with out the activation code. What do I do now>

I am sorry to hear about your situation, but I don't think you could do anything. You said they didn't give you the reciept? I would have asked for one, no demanded one before I left the register. I never leave a register without a receipt.
The only other thing you could possibly do is if you know the time, date and register you were at then you could have them pull the video tape but I am thinking that you don't have all that info either.

i was hit by a employee moving some merchandise to stock and he hit me while i was sitting in a martcart. i complanded and now two weeks later i was stoped at walmart by two managers asking me if i threatened the person who hit me.this is bull
phone service is horrible at pretty much every walmart. Do not bother calling any of them. You will be put on hold for at least half an hour and probably hung up on after that. Service in general is poor there because their employees are all paid minimum wage and are having to do other things (stock their departments) etc. I would go to a local electronic store or research and buy it online versus going back to walmart again.
When I was 12 or 13, I was at the CD section of a Walmart by myself. A creepy employee with greasy hair was there and he tried to make a move on me. I bolted. I haven't been back since.
i have tryed and tryed walmart for a job im hard working fast learning never been in trouble able to do any job so why the hell wont they hire me ive even had a friend try to get me in and still nothing but the people they do hire are slow and goofy i asked someone for help once never again i asked where is the super glue found . a fricking goose chase is what they sent me on anyway ive tryed 4 walmarts 5 years no luck
I went to thewalmart on Kelly and the woman sitting at the front door didn't say anything to me. This usually would be a problem but she deliberately look the other way like she was to good or maybe she doesn't like black people I don't know but the older gentleman that was there when I was leaving has always been kind to me this was at about 8 pm on Sunday the 24th of October

they keep sending e-mail saying husband won $1000 gift card-need address. it goes straight to survey again-then asks for two credits---puchasing something from list--- then they want credit card #.
i usually delete those emails as soon as i see it. most of the time it goes straight to spam. do not give your credit card information out just in case it is an impostor email and by that i mean it could be a hacker posing as a walmart. dont even open the email. email could contain viruses and also opens the door for a hacker to get your information.
it happens on my computer all the time too. You would think that would be considered false advertising! Which by the way is illegal! So sick of all the pop=ups on the computer saying you have won a new laptop.. or $1000 gift card to such and such..It is all about the $$$$ and hackers also want to try and get your info so they can steal every penny you have to your name!

I call on monday 1-3-2011 to see if the two medcation was fill and was being mail to me . I wait to sat. to see if I got them in the mail.I did not get them in the mail I call tosee were they was. they said was not mail out. so I said why was it not mail on tuesday or the thurday mail. they could not tell me anewer. I'm very upset that they can not get things right.
Not sure about the Disney thing, but the card offer is absolutely legitimate -- I've received the money myself. Of course, it's not as easy as promoted, you will be spammed, but SO WHAT? Would you turn down something like $850.00 because you're afraid of spam? Ever hear of setting up an alternate email account for free (like at Yahoo.com?). If you're smart about it, practice a bit of care and can follow directions, you'll receive the card for an outlay of around $150.00. Plus, many of the offers are nice -- Gevalia tea, anyone? my family and i went shopping at wal mart on a monday night and there was a 30 min. waiting line at the register.
I've seen people on his pay level get fired for less (most Walmart stores have strict no-cell-phone policy). I would report it, along with the day and estimated time. Granted, management will look at the security videos before making a decision, but awkward much?

Went there again today and obviously they mess up everyday! Theres no changing table in the bathroom for my baby soooo what am I supposed to do change him on your nasty floor?!? Don;t think so Walmart on Military Dr. that sucks! Oh and also I had pictures made and they had no envelopes YOU REALLY ARE A HORRIBLE WALMART and I wish you would close already!

Im tired of constantly having to dispute being over charged in Walmart mexico. The prices when paying for the items at the cashier are most of the time different than the prices on the products inside walmart. A lot of tourists frequent the store and are not aware of this scam. This is ridiculous and think it is unfair that tourists are being ripped off because they think the store is legit.
Listen, these changing tables, etcetera, are just a handy convenience that is relatively new. While they are nice, you should really ponder the preponderance of bacteria and germs these tables contain from previous 'changes' and what have you. My kids are all grown now, four of them, but I never had to change any of them in a store, ever. And when they are babies, I either changed them in the car or the stroller when we were shopping; there is always a private area everywhere to do this. Why are you getting so angry over nothing here? You have children who have needs; make sure your are a parent who thinks ahead.

the workers are rude n no help what so ever i dread going there and its the only close store in my town just awfull
did you ask the reason why? they often have legitimate reasons for not changing oil or doing other services. I have one vehicle that I cannot take to the walmart for oil change because it has a retrofit (albeit approved) replacement oil bolt in the pan. they arent comfortable messing with it.
any condition? i am just curious, did you drop it? not that it matters, but just wondering, and any condition, is after all, any condition, IF you have that in writing, IMO.
A bunch of keys came off of my lap top once, all at the same time, perhaps me beating the hell out of it for locking up had something to do with it, but I did the honorable thing and got it repaired on my dime. I didn't have to lie to the guy at the repair shop. he didn't ask, so i didn't tell. lol $128 bucks later and I was back in business.
I am still waiting for a TV stand that was (according to their own website) in a town less than a half a day's drive from here. That was Wednesday, today is Saturday and it has yet to arrive in my local store.

I ordered an item online and was told the shipment was delayed. Walmart then dropped the price. The item was shipped after the price dropped, but Walmart refused to give me the difference. Luckily I ordered it shipped to the store for free, so I can return it and order at the lower price. With prices going up, you would think stores would be interested in saving money rather than inconveniencing customers.
