Good day,
Trust that this finds you well.
I am writing this complaint with hope that it will get resolved in a timely manner.
I am a long-standing consumer of Woolworths South Africa, and before I had children of my own, my mother was a loyal customer to the Brand, and everything else it represents.
On the 17th of January, I went to Woolworths in Sandton to purchase shoes for my daughter. My daughter wore them on the first day (the 18th).
Later on when she returned, she stated that the shoes do not fit her, they are too tight. That same afternoon, I went back to Woolworths Sandton, and I was told that I cannot return or exchange shoes that have been worn before. I stated that this is incorrect as I read the return policy before, and my mother has exchanged boots after 3 months in the past.
I would like to bring to your attention that the return policy does not state that SHOES that have been worn cannot be returned.
Please may I ask that you also look at the quality of the shoes made as well. These are not the same as the second ones that I purchased, the stitching was very poor to an extent that it is visible. I was worried that it could be the quality of these shoes these days, however this is not the case as I compared to the ones I had to purchase following the Sandton City Branches refusal to do the exchange.
Please may I ask that you urgently look into this as I am now sitting with an extra pair that I have absolutely no use for. — Many thanks

Claimed loss: R399
Desired outcome: A refund pleaseAnd a token off appreciation since I was humiliated infront of the whole Sandton City staff
