Aspen Dental Credit due to me since april

I had my top teeth pulled back in April. I had an estimate given to me and paid in full the amount I was going to be charged. I paid this before the procedure was even done. I also have dental insurance, they estimated what my insurance would pay. They were wrong and I am owned $1124.00 . I have called every week to ask the status of my refund. I started calling every week the end of April. Then there system crashed back then. They told me the could not refund any money until the system was back up. They created another account for everyone. When the system came back up, I was told they had to merge the accounts before they could refund my money. I am still hearing the same thing. I have had multiple staff at Aspen say they see the amount quoted above. I had asked to speak with the financial manager and was refused. There is no excuse with a company as big as Aspen to be treating patients this way. If I owed Aspen they would have had collection agencies after me. I just want the money back that is owed to me. I have not been rude, I feel I have been more than patient. I am a patient at the Auburn office. I have only been there 2 years. Sally Legg Cell [protected] Email [protected]@yahoo.com

Desired outcome: Credit my credit card for the amount owed to me $1124.00

Aspen Dental Dental service

On May 31 I paid $1,479 for dental work. When I went to the office to be treated, I was told that they were waiting for a part so they could make an impression. They stalled for over 30 days and then told me they couldn't do the procedure. I requested a refund and was told that the refund will be sent to me from the corporation. Since I had to get the procedure done, I went to another dentist and he ordered the part and he received it in two days. The work is scheduled for July 17. All I want is my money back for work they could not do and they knew this when they took the payment. Knowing you can't do a job and take payment is fraud. If need be I will file charges

Aspen Dental Poor customer service, quality dental work, company billing,

On 04/23/2022 I went in to aspen dental to get my teeth cleaned. I had x-rays taken. The hygienist came in she told me that I had that the x-rays show that i had some calcium build up and maybe a couple of cavities but we'll watch them if there is a cavity probably won't fill them may need crowns I told her that I just need a general cleaning. She told me that they won't do a general cleaning until a periodontal cleaning done. I asked what this would cost the hygienist didn't know. That I would need to talk to the office manager. I told the hygienist that I just had my teeth cleaned about a year ago and I had no calcium build up.

After the procedure was done I went into the Office and talked to the office manager Brian he told me what the bill was I was shocked. He checked my insurance he told me that the insurance would pay $1545 and the remaining balance of $811 would be my responsibility. I agreed with this. After a few months Brian calls me and says that the insurance company denied the claim stated that I didn't have insurance with them. So I called the insurance company and I did indeed have insurance since 11/2021. That the number was put in CL1 instead of CLI for the letters. So I went into aspen dental here in Topeka Ks and gave them another copy of my insurance card and told them to enter CLI not CL1. I believe that the office personnel wasn't trained properly. I find out from the insurance company that I needed to be with them for 12 months before I can file this type of claim. Brian never called me back and told me anything. This is poor customer service.

Another issue is billing they don't seem to get the claim in. I had my teeth cleaned in 2023 and they told me that I needed to have the same treatment that I had before a year ago. This hygienist didn't numb my mouth and after the third time she hit a nerve I told her we are about done I was very discussed when I left the office. They still tell me that there is a bill but I have no record just what the insurance company tells me on their statement.

I had a chip tooth in from fixed in March 2023 this is after I had the cleaning done. It came off a two weeks ago I called for an appointment for 07/12/2023 to get the tooth fixed for the second time. When I arrived the girl at the front desk told me that there was a note for when I had called in but no appointment was set. So i had to set another appointment for 07/19/2033.

The whole experience with Aspendental has been a nightmare. After reading some of the complaints I have to agree with a lot of them for the service and the quality and procedures of the dental work poorly executed last but least customer service. When I talk to the office manager, I feel that I'M treated like don't know what I'm talking about getting the run around. All the years that I have been going to dentist this is the worst. The office is located in Topeka Kansas. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com.Thank You

Desired outcome: I would appreciate some kind of a response please

I was a patient back in 2017 I had gotten dentures, and when I received my full new set with the implants weren't the right ones as they had told me in the 1st initial meeting, I was so over charged I paid 30,000 dollars. There were a few dental assists that treated and talked me so nasty and the receptionist (Tracy) was so nasty 5 years ago, I see nothing...

Aspen Dental Overbilling

It had been a couple of years since I had been to the dentist and I wanted quick care. I booked with Aspen Dental as most other clinics in the area were booked out for several months.

I got to my appointment the next day (yay) and had a short wait, x-rays were done, etc. etc. After x-rays, the dentist came in and looked at me for an absolute maximum of twenty seconds. The tech then unhooked my bib and said I was free to go before I reminded her that no one had seen me. Then a hygienist came in and supposedly performed a test of my mouth for gum disease that can't have lasted two minutes. I was told I have periodontal disease and needed to come in for a deep clean but nothing would be done that day.

I paid for half of the procedure up-front but something nagged in the back of my mind later, so I decided to widen my search area and got in with another dentist for a second opinion who did a MUCH more thorough job, informed me that I did not have periodontal disease, and performed a cleaning all on the same visit. The probing of my teeth for periodontal disease lasted close to ten minutes at the other clinic, and I was seen by the dentist for this, not a hygienist. I felt that the care at Aspen Dental was less than subpar, and they were trying to overcharge for services that weren't medically necessary.

I've since contacted the Aspen Dental clinic I went to for a reversal of the $400 I paid up-front and it has not yet hit my account, though I am keeping a sharp eye out.

Desired outcome: Refund of charges; better training for staff.

The sales lady told and showed me some dentures. And she took my money right away. When it came time to pick the tooth color out they only had 3 colors and they were all dark , they didn't come close to being as white as the ones that I already have. She said sorry that's all we have unless you pay a lot more money.I am a eldery man on a fixed income and can't afford more money so I asked her for a refund . She said ok... fast forward its been a month and still no refund..This is the Katy Texas location.

Desired outcome: Get a refund

On or about 17 Oct 22, I went in for an estimate of upper and lower dentures. I was referred to by my health care provider. I went to the office pain free. After the examinations I needed additional work at a cost of over 8,000.00 dollars. The doctor said I needed a root canal, needed my gold caps in the rear removed, and tooth in the front needed a cap. I...

Scam artists. I came in due to an old filling falling out and had quite a bit of mouth pain. The dentist did the filling extremely fast. She had no assistant and it took half the time of any other filling I had in the past. Within two days I started having tooth pain again and realized my filling came out. I returned to the dentist and she didn't even...

These are some of the worst fitting Dentures. They cause lots of pain when trying to eat anything. Some of the poorest workmanship I've ever seen. As in other complaints, the actual denture work was done by women on the staff. All they did was fit them tightly in your mouth and send you on your way home. By the time I got home I had to take them out because...
