Dollar General empty shelves

DG is the only place in our small town to buy necessities. It's my understanding they get a truck two times a week, yet the shelves are always empty. Especially common items. Either they don't keep shelves stocked or management does a poor job ordering. It used to be I'd rather shop at DG but it's so frustrating I'm ready to drive the 10 miles to go to a store that can keep their shelves stocked. The next time I'm there I will take pictures and post on here

I stopped shopping at the DOLLAR GENERAL stores, yes, reason, shelves are always empty. The other reason, ONE CHECKER with long lines...! I am wondering, because of all the odd places Dollar General has built those stores in, are they going to close them down as what they call a grocery store, reopen later on as what, what is really going on?

You can never get through the isles they are always blocked, the shelves are always messy and understocked. Every time I go into this location there are boxes piled in the aisles even blocking them at times. Boxes even block the fire exits. Nothing is ever stocked on the shelves yet the employees are standing around. You have to find an employee to be able to purchase anything and they are usually outside smoking and flirting with men they have come visit them...

Dollar General didn’t pay the time I worked there

I worked there a couple of days and I had to leave the job because of family issues. So I talked to the manager and they told me that I would get paid that Friday, so Friday came by and I checked if I had got paid and I didn't so I called the district manager and they told me that they needed my information from they manager so he called them and they sent my info to him and he called me saying that I will be paid the next Friday and its already been 3weeks and i still haven't got paid and that it was in the process for me getting paid

Dollar General rude customer service

I was i n the Dollar General store on Governor's Drive, near I565 Huntsville, AL . I work near and decided that the cheapest way for me to eat lunch every day is to go there. I went in and got my snacks and went to the counter. After waiting a few minutes(have no idea what the cashier was doing), I realized I left my wallet in my car. So I left the items on the counter and went to my car. As I left the store I heard "Don't come back" This happened on July 16, 2019, at about 11:20 am. I went to go back in the store and she would not let me back in. I did nothing wrong and she is right about one thing. I am not coming back not until I hear back and know somebody above her has heard my complaint. She has no business working in customer service. I did nothing wrong. Dollar General employee

I was in Dollar General Store South Main Street Wilkes-Barre PA July 16th 10 a.m. I got two things and went to the counter I waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the register I hollered I Whistle twice nobody finally the lady came to the register and she said what an attitude don't whistle like that I said well then you should have a bell she said we should but Dollar General don't by Bells I said well I don't have time to stand here and wait I'm a contractor and everyday I buy my crew of 15 sodas chips candy cookies I spend a lot of money there every month I'm not going back anymore they lost my business she was very very loud and harassed me she said I'm the only one in the store I have no help well I said then you should be monitoring the register she gave me nothing but a hard time and back talk me I will never go to Dollar General again. This lady was on at 10 a.m. and she wears glasses July 16th 2019 I told her to review the cameras on how long I was there some one should to see the hard time she gave me. I bought lightbulbs. She told me the total was $12.99. I gave her $20. She gave me $3.01 in change as she said $7.01. She did not offer my receipt. She stole $5.00 from me. Dollar General customer service and behavior

I have been in this Dollar General many times and every single time the service is worse.
1. Every employee was sitting outside, not even a single greeting.
2.I was in the store 10 minutes before anyone even came in and of course they went back out.
3. I had to stand and wait at the check out for someone to come in.
4. Kids behind the register and all over the store, kid belong to an employee!
IM NEVER GOING BACK TO DOLLAR GENERAL AGAIN UNLESS THIS ISSUE IS ADDRESSED

This item was sitting in $5.00 slot but when rang up was $8.50. This happens to me alot. Very aggravated. Is this new thing of getting customers to buy? No happy at all. Why must a customer have to pay for the mistake? The item wasn't like throwed in there, it was sitting upright to the front. I would understand if the item was deliberately throwed in that place but it was there neatly.

I purchased the 16 count blueberry and strawberry pop tarts at the dollar general on noble ave in williston, fl. I opened a package only to find it burnt and what looks like mold. There were several like this. I am not sure what is wrong with them but for safety reasons I refused to allow my children to eat them. Dollar General would not return a product I did buy from there

i could not exchange a pack of cigarettes from short box of Marlboro to Marlboro 100 Box. we were there around 30 minutes ago and my other half came home with my cigarettes and we went back to exchange them and they would not do that and I will not shop at the dollar general store again I will go to everything is a dollar store now to shop and buy my cigarettes at the smoke shop. Your Manager at that store #10403 is very unprofessional with customer service, She has an attitude all the time and I do know how Managers should be Because I was a Manager for 3 Stores or Pizza Huts In Nashville, Tn. Dollar General service

I am a paying customer that spends 100's of dollars a month at the dollar General in Hatfield ( Richland) indiana and the people working there do not believe in keeping the store clean, they will have a conversation with other workers wile customers are waiting to get checked out, and if any thing is said they will be VERY RUDE and tell you that the problem is not their fault, they are the best dg stores have ever had. In my opinion the crack heads that worked their before showed a he'll of a lot more work ethic than the fat slobs that won't do anything . As far as I'm concerned dg will never see Anouther penny of mine, at least not the one in Hatfield Indiana.

Dollar General manager complaint

I went to the store on Oxford school road at the intersection of hwy 70 right outside the town of Catawba, NC...I was with the elderly lady that I work for as her caretaker. I went to where the manager was asked for padlocks...I picked up a 2 pack and went back across the store to my employer, I guess I laid the locks down when I felt the soft pillows and didn't think anything else about it. The manager then waddled up and asked if I changed my mind about the locks and I said yes, but, I was in a car accident that gave me a brain injury and my recent memory doesn't exist. I told her I didn't remember where I layed them down at and she screamed out that she would check the cameras and see where the locks were. I offered for her to check my purse and she gave me a dirty look and waddled into the back of the store. The manager then screamed from the back of the store to the cashier to let her know when the police officer got there. I also witnessed her having a young teenage girl and a small child helping her put out merchandise and the baby running around unsupervised drawing on the tile floor with a sharpey marker, a young child isn't supposed to be working in the store without being old enough to be employed there and her and the baby running around in and out of the store back room. I don't appreciate her accusing me of stealing and screaming out in front of numerous customers. I am a very Christian woman and was with my employer and was very embarrassed by this. The manner she treated me was very uncalled for and I DONT STEAL...EVER, EVER. I want you to know that I was the store manager at Family Dollar and I have encountered many shoplifting insidents but this most definitely was not one of them. I will never step foot into that dollar general as long as this manager works there, she was very rude and judgmental and I would have lost my job for treating a customer this way without justification. I know that I didn't do anything wrong but she screamed at me and about me in front of my friends and neighbors in my small community...I was appalled! I have considered calling my attorney to get advice about bringing a law suite against her AND the store if need be, for being wrongly accused in front of my peers, and my employer.

Dollar General no plastic bags to carry products

I went to the store at 1192 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY & was told they had no p!attic bags to carry out products of any size. Subsequently others costumers were also informed of the issue. Some wa!ked out I asked them why they haven't order bags they stated that they informed the manager Brandy William who is the only person allowed to order anything & apparently she hasn't done so in quite a few days. We shouldn't have to buy bags to carry out products. Most costumers are walking out & complain.

Dollar General clover valley 8 ct. hamburger buns

Today (July 3rd) I bought 2 pks. Of clover valley hamburger buns, my son pointed at my burger and I looked, there was a blue bristle that had been cooked into the bottom of my bun. I have pics. Of the bag in case you need to do a recall and pics. Of it in my bun and on my plate. I'm glad my son seen it or it might have scratched my throat if I didn't feel it, I had bacon on my burger so I might would have thought it was bacon. I tried this one time and it wouldn't let me do through my fb account so u hope it goes through.
