Every time I enter the store on stony in chicago this manager harass me. She talk behand my back to other counter and when I asked she says yes I am not talking to you but she talking about me. I have tried to contact top manager of the store and gotten no response.
When I enter the store on last week as I was cashing out I askes for cash back the casher said no cash back. So I said why is it every time I come in to this store there is never cash back. She said I cant answer that I am new here. But the manager was at the next one over began to laugh out loud I said is there a problem. So as I was leaving the store she was talking to two lady's about me. How I am just mad because how couple years ago I was ask to leave the store. So I turn around and said you talking about me and she said to the lady's as I was saying she just mad.
But as I say this manager is always talking about me with all coming when I enter the store. She is very rude loud and un professor. And this must stop.
And also she was talking to the lady's and they was talking to me earlier in the store they was saying how at the other store they lock there door because they only had one casher. So the manager said I should do that at my store. And so she did. As I left the sore she lot it behand me. As I sat in my car I saw your comer come to the door and try to get in so they walk away. Not one two three. A lady with a baby. I went up to the door and tryed to get in at not I have picture of all this.
Desired outcome: for her boss take her job title from her . because she not be in that job title. write her up.
The whole store is falling apart
June 16, 2022 no air conditioning emergency! Nearly 100 in Texas.
We here in Oakwood Texas area, depend on this store and we are sad to see it falling apart like this. The sign lights don’t light. Freezer broken, and now it has broken air conditioning. It has been in the upper 90’s all week and the employees and customers have been subjected to this heat for almost a week! They are forced to leave the doors open, just to bring in air. I would think this would be an OSHA violation.
Thanks for listening, and please send help.

My daughter tried applying for employment through Family Dollar in Columbia Kentucky and my daughter has clean record, High school diploma and there is absolutely no reason she should not be allowed to get hired the hiring manager asked at first when Autumn Chumbley got an application if Autumn would care to work nights and weekends and Autumn replied yes, she could work any shift available. So, they called Autumn in for an interview and this girl Savannah Barney that is regular employee at that location talked the hiring manager into not hiring Autumn because she couldn't stand Autumn at school. I am her mother, and I was literally told this is the reason through another manager that works there is that Savannah talked bunch of smack. This is ridiculous she has been graduated for 3 years now and out of high school and just because her and this girl Savannah did not get along in high school it should not prevent her from being able to be an employee through Family Dollar and this should be slander defamation or discrimination some kind of law that prevents this type of behavior and if Autumn cannot be a Family Dollar employee because of high school then Savannah shouldn't be able to be neither

6/11/2022 i wnet into the family dollar at stolling i got my items that i needed and went to the counter with them no one around i rang the bell that they have sitting on counter serveral times no response then i went up and down each isle to see if i could see any one nothing so i went to back room and clerk was in there this is a regular ocurrance with this store all the employees and manager are either outside smoking and on their phones or stuck in the back somewhere the store number is 12804 time was 12:39 when i told the clerk about the service she was upset and when it came time to give my change she slapped in my hand with a mad look on her face

Wrongful termination
I was terminated due to inappropriate social media behavior (facebook), i’m still all the way unclear on what happened, I reported that my page was hacked and showed proof of a individual that was out to get me fired for no reason, I have numerous log in alerts that someone was logging into my accounts and they still terminated me, I worked for the family dollar in davenport iowa on rockingham road, employee # 1213636, I would like this more looked into

I have showed at the store in calhoun georgia ever since it was opened on hwy 41 north, the other day I ask a young women to help me locate a product it had be moved to another place, anyhow, she came over to help not only was she rude but i'm a middle school teacher so I know what pot smells. Like ice had students smoke before class an it has its own smell, an she was covered in it, I hate to complain I know good help is hard to find, but trust me she couldn't be a good employee I did get her name it was tammy lee I just think you should know. On 6-4-22 around 9:41 p.m., I went to my neighborhood Family Dollar to purchase tealights. When the cashier named Quita scanned them, the price rang up to $1.35 including tax. The shelf price displayed $1.00 so I questioned her about it. When I did she got smart with me and said things are going up. So I told her the shelf price was a dollar and if it's supposed to be $1.35 including tax, the shelf price should reflect that. She retorted back to me that when they get the time they will change it. I politely took a picture and this is the result of that interaction.
Desired outcome: I would like the shelf price and the scan price to be the same and I would also like a refund. Last but not least please provide a response.

That store needs to be cleaned up asap or shut it down until your able to get it in functional order. At least 5 aisles are blocked with product entirely and no one is able to reach any items located in those aisle.
This store is deemed a HAZARD and needs immediate attention.

I have visited this one fmsilh dollar on my home around 7 times maybe more. Each time I walk in all quiet and pick my items and get to the register. There is always these two same ladies there and they always refuse me service without telling me why. I am white and live a prominent American American neighborhood. I am not confrontational and set my items down and leave. Well the last time I had to in because I neeeded something urgent and went in and the same two ladies went on me telling me they would not serve me and the second lady who was actually cleaning the
Floors locked the door and would not let me out she was even blocking the lock so I could not unlock myself. My cell phone was in the car so I tried to grab their phone to call 911 all why they are the callimg out white slurs at me. Finally she unclocked the door and let me out. I was so upset and so traumatized I just left and cried. I should have contacted the police but I didn’t think about as I was too upset after getting in my car. I have contacted an attorney who I meet with in a week To file a lawsuit not only against the corporation. But also against the two individuals as well. They violated my civil right and false imprisonment and had I not been so upset I would have called the police to have the one arrested. I am sure corporate doesn’t care just like the store manger did not care but I will be filing so I wanted to let you know. Overcharge at register
This is concerning store #03146. I noticed being overcharged for several items at this store so when I purchased an item today and checked the price at the register it was higher than the price marked. I brought it to the cashiers attention and told her what happened the last two times I was there and how I was overcharged. She said that there was nothing she could do about it. Every other store I've been to always charged the price marked. This is not right. Charging more at the register than what it was marked is misleading the customer and basically stealing their money. So I went to another store to make my purchase. This needs to be corrected and until it is I'll be shopping somewhere else like Dollar General where they stand behind their marked prices.
Desired outcome: That the store charges the price marked and if more at the register it is corrected and taken care of.

Store is advertising "Going Out of Business, Entire Store 30% off at the entrance as well as throughout the store. I made $95.08 only to get home and find out thru my receipt that I was only given 20% off. I had already called a family member to tell them about the sale and they went there as well. When they questioned the cashier about the amount she was charging, she said the saving was only 20%, but when the manager was questioned, he assured them everything was 30% off as advertised throughout the store. However the cashier only gave a 20% discount.
I checked both their receipt and mine and found we were indeed overcharged for every item bought. I find this to be very disturbing and classified as theft by deceiving. I have called every # I could find and I've called several store locations that I know are open and operating and the calls were never answered. I tried several online # for the Family Dollar customer services to no avail. Most disturbing!

I went back to the store yesterday and carried my receipts and spoke with the cashier who originally handled our transactions and she started to lie and could never get her story straight as to why we were overcharged. I then asked for the store manager and was told she was the store manager. Nothing was done to correct this situation! My next thought is to file a civil case if applicable, as this is most unethical and ILLEGAL
Desired outcome: Resolution based on company procedures. I'm sure you have measures in place for theft by taking for customers and people taking from your stores, but what do you have in place for employees stealing from your customers....
Cashier inappropriate behavior
On May 24, 2022 at or around 12:00 Noon I was at the
location ar10130 West 7 Mile Rd in Detroit MI.
The items that I purchased did not scanned (at the register) at the prices that were marked on the shelves. I informed the Cashier that the price scanned differently. She said; "well I can't help that". I then asked for the Manager, who did come and was informed of the situation. The Manager informed the Cashier to sell the item as it was marked. After leaving the store I noticed from my receipt that the items were not changed, as thee manager had informed the Cashier. I went back into the store to speak with the Manager and showed him the receipt. He was assisting me with the matter and then the same Cashier begin to yell at me. I informed her that I was not speaking to her but was speaking with the Manager. She became upset and start calling me names making verbal threats towards me, * She also had a very small child with her, she stated the child was her son, who was behind the register with her. She then became hostile towards me using verbal profanity and walking very aggressive toward me to assault me. She was yelling; "I'm going to"Kick that old [censored] [censored]". People in the store was holding her back to restrain her from attacking me, several people witnessed her aggressive behavior. *Detroit MI Police Report # [protected]
Desired outcome: For her to be Terminated! People like that should not work in an environment that come in contact with customers. This individual should not represent Family Dollar.
Poor customer service and not honoring the sale price.
On May 23, 2022, I entered the store to purchase a mini chopper. I located the chopper and it had sale price tag of $12.00. In the check-out line However when the Cashier ringed up the items the cost of the chopper was $13.25. When I advised the cashier George of the price difference. They checked the sale tag of the chopper and it had expired on 4/17/22. I said I should be able to pay the sale price and he refused. After I question their practice in the store as to why would a sale tag still be listed a month later? He told me that he can refuse to sale any items to me. And threaten to call the police on me. I have been in this community over 17 years and have frequented this store often. I have never been treated this way. This store has changed over the years with their hiring practices, upkeep of the store and customer service. This is a diverse community but there is no diversity in this store. The lines can be down the isles and no assistance with checking out the patrons. I have also included pictures of the associates. George appears to be eating at the counter and the young lady who removed the old sale tag.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology. I would like to know where it's listed to where a Family Dollar associate has the right to refuse service. More diversity and better training for their associates.

I Ordered toilet paper on line & when I got to the store I realized My mistake I got paper towel's my mistake I asked the manager to exchanged it & her ans was she is to busy. I said excuse me doesn't the customer come first & she repeated she was to busy I told her I would report her she said she didn't care.
I asked her name she said what's yours I said Nancy her reply so was her name. I called her a lying SOB. I then went to the store on James st. Spoke to the mgr. Ivana Rivers & she made the exchange. Very nice smiled I thanked her. A young man went & exchanged the paper. I have never had such bad service. I will never go to that store again.
