Family Dollar Rude store clerk

I was returning a $5.40 T-shirt for the second time to the store due to a defect of the shirt. Upon showing the store clerk the stain in the t-shirt, the clerk said that I could wash the stain out, but I told her I did not want to wash a stain from and item I just bought. I mentioned that three times to her, and as she got more visible frustrated, and started heading toward the shirt rack, I informed her (store clerk) that I was not interested in exchanging for another t-shirt, but would like a refund for my purchases. The store clerk snatched the receipt from my hands and rudely gave me some information to fill out. I told the clerk that she should be more considerate of the next customer needing to exchange an item. After returning the dollar amount to my debit card, the store clerk followed my wife and I to the front of the store exit door and watched us as we drove away.

Desired outcome: Better training to respect all people no matter the age or race.

Family Dollar Employees

I have a family member in nearby hospital and have been frequenting this store regularly. I have never been more disturbed with any store ever! The store manager is very pleasant and friendly but when he is not present, the employees ignore you, talk vulgar in front of customers, cussing loudly and they have a noticeable weed smell. On or about september 30th, there was human feces on the floor in front of the checkout counter. That following weekend, on or about october 2/3, there was a man trying to urinate in the corner of the store. Inside the store! I have personally heard other customers complain about the employees and the people lingering in the parking lot. I understand this is a rough area but dollar tree should be investing in the company they bought to help management to clean up this store. On monday, october 4 at approximately 2pm, I left the store and witnessed a drug deal between three men, right outside the front door next to the ice machine. I immediately called the store to let them know. That same visit, I witnessed a man with an gun in the store. He was definitely not law enforcement. I was scared the place was going to be robbed, as there are always people loitering in the lot, whether homeless, drunk or drug induced. Another time, there was a man trying to enter the store in his underwear and a woman loudly, repeatedly, that she was drunk on chicken. Apparently, there is a local hotel for vagrants and drug addicts nearby. There needs to be some type of security, law enforcement on premises. Either way, I plan to call the local news station if something is not done immediately. I have called family dollar, emailed, left several messages and have never received a return call regarding my concerns. So i'm hoping that since dollar tree owns family dollar, someone will care enough to do something about this disaster waiting to happen. My next step will to be start recording these incidences and posting them. Maybe that will get someone important attention. This store did not become like this overnight and repeated complaints are going unaddressed.

Family Dollar The manager Anita

Very disrespectful to the Latino American and allowing employees to steal and smoke weed and steal. A former employee said she fired her because she wouldn't steal. This female has terrible people skills and I reported this to the United States Indigent Defense council in Washington DC. The Latino American will boycott this store in Antioch Tennessee so what happened to me and my children will never happen again.

Family Dollar Family Wellness Sheer Adhesive Pad

Had surgery two days ago. Purchased 2 boxes of Sheer Adhesive pads (10 count) (Family Wellness), to cover the surgery site and Laproscopic incisions. After I had removed the old bandages, opened a box of the pads I had purchased this evening. Noticed that there were only a total of 8 in the package which had obviously been opened and re-sealed with clear tape. Looked at the 2nd box and it was intact with no sign of having been opened. This, to me is a huge issue! Had I realized the box had been opened and 2 pads removed I definitely would not have utilized them! Missing 2 pads is no big deal, opened and re-sealed is!

In today's world it scares and worries me that such a issue such as this occurred. I would very much like to know "Family Dollars" policy on returned items, especially sterile medical supplies, and how they can be re-shelved for a customer to purchase.

Family Dollar Manager

The manager of this store threw his coffee my back after he challengd to fight me on the street over my complaint of not enough cashiers.
I thought he was a homeless man since he looked that way. Hence no uniform of where he worked. He looked like hell. Hasn't washed in days and looked like Ronald McDonald was a friend of crack and sleeping in a sewer.
He threatened me souch that another customer saw h throw his coffee on me. He got in his face and then the police interviened.
I didn't file charges because he is obviously aeth or crack person.

Desired outcome: Enough there removed or faces battery for throwing coffee on my back as I walked away trying to leave it be.

Family Dollar Pepsi/Frito lay

If u spent $14 on frito lay and Pepsi, u received $4 off. I spent $22 and didn't get no $4 off. I will continue to shop than at dollar general if this is not resolved.

Family Dollar The manager in West Haven is really rude with customers.

Christine the manager in West Haven is very rude with customers. When my mother asked a question this manager had a very rude tone in her voice acting like the customer didn't matter. I'm sorry but customer service means the customers questions should not be ignored because the manager is having a bad day! Every day people shop there the lines are too long, with only one cashier to ring out these long lines. This manager has her nose stuck in the air and customers don't matter. This store seems ghetto and unprofessional!

Family Dollar I am complaining about the Family Dollar's appearance at 4472 Campbellton Rd, Atlanta, GA 30331

I am sure that Family Dollar thought they were doing something nice for the community when they put the benches on the corner of the store. There is no bus stop there. There is a lot of trash left by the people who hang out every time the weather permits. They have even brought chairs to the site so they can have enough seats for everyone. The trash can is either full or not being used.

Desired outcome: I would like to see the benches removed and the area cleaned up.

Family Dollar Prepaid debit card

Almost 3 weeks and no resolve. Family Dollar rip me off. They tell me I have to call the card people. The card people tells me to call them. It is not responsibility of the card company. They never seen the money or had anything to do with it. It is a mistake made at the store. And you would think they could cough up 40 bucks to fix the problem. Doesn't seem like much money to them though. So why bother with it. Family Dollar screwed up and me the customer is paying for it. That is not right. You should not be able to get away with ripping people off.

Family Dollar Prepaid debit card

Okay I will explain once again. I placed $40 on a w u NetSpend prepaid card. The money never made it to the card. It went somewhere else. I gave the receipt to the manager who still has it and he wrote my name and number on it. He has tried with no luck to help me. I have complained about this everywhere I can think of with no response. I lost income because of it and I'm thinking of a lawsuit. A customer should not be put through this. This is B.S.

When I was checking out I asked the person working if that was it talking about everything they bagged up and they said yes. When I got home I noticed a bag was missing. I then returned to the store and someone else was working. I told them my situation and they proceeded to look for the missing bag which the previous employee hid under the counter.

Family Dollar Throwing food in the dumpster.

I AM REALLY MAD ABOUT THE THROWING FOOD AWAY! I was going in and buying the food in the buggy when I came into the store. Now, there is no buggy. I was told that it is now throw in the dumpster. I can not see it being thrown away in the dumpster and then to the land fill. Do you know how long it takes for a can to break down? Many years. You are supposed to be helping the earth, pollution comes from land fills. So, you want to clean up the environment? Why not donate it to charity and get a tax credit? I will come and get the stuff and donate it for you. I am on SS. and I know people who are suffering right now. Can't afford to buy groceries. It is hard for us that need the extra help. Please let me know when I can go and pick up any food you want to donate. Many stores I shop in have a clearance end cap. I try to find the best prices for me to buy it. I used to be a merchandiser and worked retail most of my life. I know that Best Buy is not expiration date. That is so the stores need to order more. Milk is good 4 days longer, and peanut butter is good a few years after the BB date. It still hasn't expired and being tossed. Family Dollar I was ripped off.

There is no more of an accurate way to put it. On [protected] I bought a Verizon eTalk flip phone at the Family Dollar in Bay City Michigan. The price of it was clearly marked at $19.95. But when I went to pay for it, the price suddenly jumped to $62.54. I was given the impression that the extra cost was for the activation fee. Turns out, that wasn't the case.

As it turned out, I would have had to pay an extra $40 dollars for that. Which would have brought the total to around $100 dollars for a phone that was clearly marked at $19.95 to begin with. But I was told that I would have somehow received the extra $40 dollars extra back. Though that still would have meant paying $62.54 for a phone that was clearly priced at $19.95.

I am on Social Security and have trouble making it from month to month as it is. The only reason I paid the $62.54 was because my other phone quit working and I was desperate. But now I have a $62.54 dollar paperweight. And I don't need a paperweight. Is there anything you can do to help me? Such as arrange things so I can return it to where I bought it? I could even mail it to you with the receipt. That would cost a little. But it would be better than being out $62.54 for nothing. Thank you for your time.

Family Dollar Refused to provide Receipt for purchase Holly/Leetsadale

Both employees and Supervisor refused to provide paper receipt of purchase when I made a mistake by clicking no instead of yes on their payment machine at checkout ( when it asked if I want a receipt). Denver Holly/Leetsadale. I told their Supervisor that I needed a receipt because I had more shopping to do at other stores and I did not want to be accused of stealing and needed proof. The male supervisor still refused. Blamed their Corporate Office.

Family Dollar Disorderly/unprofessional

This particular family dollar located in Turner's falls ma is nothing short of a disaster. I used to go in quite a bit but now I can hardly at all. I went I today for a few last minute items. Empty shelves, boxed/carted products in the middle of a couple of isles. Boxed products on the floor. Scatter rugs in plastic on the floors. I get to the check out and the cashier is sitting and texting while the other employee is holding the door open bsing with friends outside.
