My name is Florence Allen and I can be reached by phone. I had a oil change on 1/1/2025 and the technician broke something on my car and it was hanging down. I went back to the store he said he fixed it but by the time I made it home it was not fixed. I went back the next morning for service and the technician took the broken piece off. I feel that firestone should replace because they broke it by not properly putting everything back properly after completing the service. If the piece was on the car it has to have a reason for being there. I have an image of what was broken. All I was told is the part was taken off and do you want it not can I fix it or replace. Although the technicians were nice I am still not satisfied because my car was not fixed back the same way I brought it to the shop.
Claimed loss: replace part or fund new one
Desired outcome: replace

The fault for that damage lies with Firestone. Do not take no for an answer; just ask them to replace that broken part at their cost. If they refuse to do so, get your receipt and incident photos ready before forwarding the case to the corporate office. When left unresolved, make sure you file a complaint with your local consumer protection agencies and let everyone know about it through social media. Never forgive them their sins of giving your car back in worse shape than when you took it in.
