I've phoned Flighthub customer care number to change an air line reservation or getting info what possibilities were. The guy at the phone clearly misunderstood my request (since most of them have clearly a foreigner accent) and I've got charged almost twice the cost of my reservation because weird fees, far more than loosing the past reservation and buy another completely new.
Phone back asking to rise up the registered phone conversation to check what was told in the call. They've then just picked up the part of the conversation they were saying something correct but the rest of the conversation they have clearly avoiding.
And they have no shame on cheating me by phone clearly telling me they would not surrend me the rest of the conversation because I would sue them.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
HUUUUGE MISTAKE, NEVER TRY THIS SITE
I bought a ticket from flight hub this July. Due to some visa problems I was had to either change the date of my flight in order to visa to arrive or cancel current flight and reroute it. So I talked to 3 different people and they all advised me to cancel the flight since it is going to be cheaper. (300$ airline penalty fee+150 Flighthub fee). So I canceled the flights was waiting for my refund. After ONE month they called me that the airline penalty fee has been changed from 300$ to 600$ ! and I have to pay extra 300$ which is totally insane. I called the Austrian airline directly providing my flight information, however they told me that airline penalty fee on my reservation has not been changed since the purchase date!
So clearly they were lying about this, so I asked them to email me what they want and what is the reason of extra money but it has been 5 days and I have not received anything from them yet! It is clear that they are afraid of giving documents and evidence to customers since they are afraid of being sued by individuals! I already told them I am going to follow this legally if they don't give me my refund...
SO Please do not try this site if you don't want to be robbed and don't be tempted by their lower rates...
Look at their TOS when you book the flight it states a change fee of 150, but the listed change fee when you click fare rules is only 50, and when you get the itinerary it's $250 HOLY CRAP every second they change the fee depending on where you look... pile of ####!
Never ever fall for their low prices as advertised. They ask for more money even to allocate seat, rates can change after you have booked and customer service is simply pathetic as is off-shore. They are a fraud company and I am now looking how to sue them for my refund, as they cancelled my flight when I called for possibility of flight departure date extension or open-ended ticket. They said they confirmed with Turkish airline and I will get future credit with them, that I can use. All I need is to pay FlightHub further $600. They said I will get email confirmation with 24hr. I did not get it and when called back, they said airline does not allow travel credit or flight extension and my flight has been cancelled, they will refund me my $600, but I should just forget about my $2700 (the travel credit). I am looking for ways to report to TICO and Ontario consumer protection tribunal.
Flighthub should not be allow to do business at all!
They scam so many people.
I want to take action against them, but I have no clue what to do! I have wasted 3 months to get a refund and I got nothing in return.
