mailing of advertising
I have been a Ford owner for over 40 years. In the last two years I bought a new F-150 and an Explorer. Since then I keep getting mail from Ford with an address in Carol Stream IL with offers to buy new vehicles. Most has the dealers name I bought from but I have received them from every car dealer in the area. NONE of them seem to know where they come from but their name is on the advertising.
HOW do I get this to stop coming to my house? They even send it to my house with my sons name on it and he has never lived here.
ford ranger fuel mileage
filed a complaint on 11-1-19 about my new ranger fuel mileage. ref # (cas247717587)
ford stated stated that ford ranger was best in class for fuel mileage that's not the case.
I drive all highway cruise set at 65.00 miles per hr. best mileage I'm getting on highway is 19.1 actual computer says 20.1. the reason I chose the ranger was for the advertised 24 to 26 highway. I drive 18, 000 thousand miles per year which 4 less miles per gallon makes a big difference throughout the life of the vehicle
refund the difference the fuel is going to cost the life time of the truck!

oliver ford sales - purchased
ordered a new vehicle and will not be delivered as promised
I ordered a New Ranger (2020) from Robberson Ford in Bend Oregon on 24 Sept. 2019.
The sales person's name is Sean Stiff. When I ordered the Truck I was told that it would be delivered to me in the first couple weeks of December 2019.
I have since checked on the progress of the Truck and now I am told the truck won't be ready until the second week of January 2020. The reason is that it is a 2020 and the 2020's are not being built yet.
They went further in saying that the production of the truck won't start until the first week of December, when I was expecting delivery.
This makes me think that I will miss all the Xmas incentives and discounts on my New Vehicle.
I have 3 other rangers ( one being my wife's new one bought from this dealer) and was needing the new one because it comes with a tilt and telescoping steering wheel. I need this because last year I was in an accident and lost my right leg the tilt wheel allows me easier access into the truck. I am also a Disabled Navy Vet.
So any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
William Kenyon
wiring exposed behind rear view mirror
We have our 2nd F150, on our 2019, the wires behind the rearview mirror are exposed, in no protective casing, these wires are visible from the front windshield. Our son in law is a mechanical engineer for a competitor co., he walked out to see our new vehicle and this is the first thing he noticed. I was always under the impression wiring needs a protective harness, theses are completely exposed and makes the truck look like it was thrown together. I know this is a little detail but it really looks tacky and cheap
warranty issues
I bought my 2019 f150 in July ‘19. I have had issues with a water leak on the passenger side floor board since I bought it. Planet ford has failed to find the leak not once, twice and now a third time. The second time, planet ford had my truck for over 2 weeks. The service manager (named JC) assured me that they put my truck in a rain tunnel to find the...

I have had my normal share of repairs over the years of owning this SUV. But as I write this I am having my third radiator installed. This one is leaking as in the case of the others. The first two were replaced at Stevens Auto Group in Milford Ct. This third one is being installed by Firestone which is close to where I live. I have 169, 000 miles on the SUV and I still love it. But I soon will be looking for another vehicle and I don't think it will be a Ford. I am 69 years old and the expenses to have these replaced is not cheap and I have a lot better things to do with the money. Even with the mileage I could understand one, but three is really ridiculous.
I am including the VIN # 1FMEU73E56UA53557 I am not expecting anything from Ford, but I hope if this is an ongoing problem they will look into the engineering of these radiators.
2011 ford explorer
I own a 2011 ford explorer and was informed today 11/14/19 that I must replace the engine for $5, 300. The car has 109K miles and cost 31K. The vehicle has been serviced by Ford for the life of ownership and the dealership's explanation for requiring a new engine is that sometimes these engines just fail and it's the roll of dice. I was hoping that the vehicle would last more than nine years and 109K miles with a price tag of 31K. Also, I was informed that after I purchase the new engine, and because the vehicle is in such good shape, I could purchase an extended warranty.
Can Ford help with this situation
internet pricing then add-on
On 11/7/19 we bought a uses 2018 Ford Ecosport. We finalized the deal and went home only to find out it was advertised at a lower price on the internet than we bought it. WE traded in a 2017 Ford Escape that twice during long trios had the battery light go off. Once in Georgia where they said, it was the battery and replaced, and the second in Tennessee...

I leased a 2018 F150 in 12/2018 and was delighted as I always wanted an F150. Within 6 mos I began having issues with the engine and had to take it back and get a rental and then got it back and had to take it back again until they realized the engine was faulty and needed a new one. I was given a rental for 36 days without all the bells and whistles that I paid for and was not allowed to smoke in it. It was very frustrating, but this is not my complaint. I was informed by Kimberly Hurd, Ford rep that I would be receiving a re-imbursement check for one months payment in 7 to 10 days and was also told this by Tyler at the Holman Ford that I would be receiving a check. I got my vehicle back last Wednesday 11/6 and once again told by Tyler and Kimberly to expect a check within 7 to 10 days from Monday 11/4 which is when it was processed. On Friday 11/8, Kimberly called to inform me I would not be receiving a check because she did not know it was a lease and that is not Fords Policy. I am asking that someone who is able to override this policy and give me what I was promised. I do hope to hear from someone about this most sensitive matter. thanks
2012 ford escape
Power Steering is very dangerous, almost killed us 3 times. Steering stops working with no notice or warning lights. Ford knew about this on 2008 to 2011 models. But Ford is unwilling to fix this issue on 2012 Ford Escape, I guess they will fix the issue when Ford gets sued for not dislosing knowlwdge of defect that could have prevented death and injury. Henry Ford should drive one at 65 miles an hour on I 95 and experience the terror when power steering quits and wheel does not respond. Thanks Ford! I will tell everyone about how badly you responded to this issue! You recall an AIr Bag because Feds made you! Now we will see how this plays out. I have owned 6 Fords and a Lincoln in my life. NOW! I WILL NEVER BUY A FORD AGAIN UNLESS YOU OWN UP TO THIS!
ford mustang 2005 (vin 1zvft82hx55128904)
I have had leakage problems in the interior of the car. The passenger side of the car has standing water of one inch after a rain. I brought this to the attention of the local dealership - Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg, PA. They did not know anything about this leakage in the Mustangs. However, after searching on line I found repeated episodes of this type of leakage over the past 15-16 years. I also found ways of addressing this issue. They did not want to address any of this. They told me I would have to see the "Water Doctor". I don't have to see the water doctor I found out where this water is leaking in. I have a car that is leaking and affecting the interior of the car, including the electrical system. I need to have answers to this question. Please notify me of the appropriate next step! Something needs to be done. I am not going to pay $1000s for a repair that is a design issue.
my f150 king ranch 1ftfw1eg4ffa38695
First and foremost I am not a Ford hater. My father was manager of manufacturing engineering at the Lima engine plant. We have owner Fords all my adult life. The issue is this truck. I purchased the truck from my son 3 years ago. He bought it new from Cole Motors in Ada, Ohio almost 5 years ago. Here are the MAJOR and serious repairs I have had to complete on this truck.
Rebuild the rear end because a rubber gasket fell off and water got into the gears.
Replace the oil pan gasket due to an oil leak.
Replace the rocker cover gasket due to an oil leak.
Now I have been driving Ford cars for 50 years now. I have never had an oil leak on and of my cars.
As you know the F150 is your bread and butter. I am upset that the 3.5 had to have two gaskets replaced. I am aware I am over the coverage miles for the service work but I do not feel I should have to pay for the gaskets due to really poor engineering or part failure. This is a really good way to loose clients!
Can you help me?

ford focus
My 2015 focus the transmission always felt different when shifting I was told this is normal. The recommended transmission fluid change is listed at 150000 miles. My vehicle has 109000 miles on it and yesterday 11/6/19 while driving on freeway the message transmission hot pull over wait 10 minutes. Car went into limp mode and stopped in traffic. I had to push it to shoulder. Car wouldn't start for 10 minutes. When I got it going I drove to a transmission shop. Car did same thing they looked at vehicle and said i need a new transmission. It's going to cost over $4000 dollars. This is unacceptable for the transmission failing on a 4 year old vehicle with just 109000 miles. I think Ford should reimburse me half the cost to replace the transmission.
Ford should meet me halfway on the repair cost.
gap contract located at po, box 23879 san diego ca [protected] & your customer service operations
The customer service operations you provide to avoid having direct contact with the public is a worthless operations. This dept only serves as a buffer between the consumer and the corporate office. This customer service continues to want to transfer me to Ford credit about the cap issue. I have repeatedly told them that ford credit does not handle this GAP Contract that is located in San Diego Ca. So what do they do they repeatedly transfer me to anywhere to get rid of the call.
Now GAP Coverage in San Diego is a perfect example as to the reason I never will buy a Ford again and will tell everyone of what a "sleazy "
operation this department is.
I bought a Ford Mustang in July . I had an accident on Aug.19. The car was totalled. Where in the GAPcontract does it say I have to forgo my money paid for the service warranty. My insurance paid off the loan $25, 500+.There was a balance of $942. Gap all along knew it was not going to pay it and that sleazy Manager Ken should have told me that. Now after 3 months I know they are going to prorate this down to almost nothing. I want the full amount I paid for it $690. No info could be obtained nor could I cancel it because there was a claim on the loan. I don't see anything in the contract about this. AS a result the $942 loan balance is basically the GAP insur. plus interest over the period of the loan. This is another sleazy move On ford's part to make money of this worthless gap insurance.
I wish someone would remind the individuals employed at this GAP location that the only reason they and ford employees and corporate have a job is bec of millions of people like me. I am going open a website explaining how Ford's GAP is a money maker only for Ford and how awful the employees at this San Diego are. None seem to get it. I know their logic. They take available funds of the customer first to payoff the loan to avoid using the profits made from all the GAP purchasers who don't total a car so they don't have to use the profits from the other customers. I say the service warranty was paid by my insurance company to me . I pay mo. insur. at a premium; thats the reason the majority of the loan was paid off. Ford just took advantage of me and now will further take advantage of me by not giving me the full amount I paid for GAP so they made a profit at both ends while I lose because of the sleazy and lack of honesty and forth rightfulness of your employees in San Diego who hangup when I speak the truth or someone like Ken who is debasing and dishonesty for not tell me upfront.
I don't the $690 I will do everything to inform the public how dishonest Ford is and how the GAP with Ford is a pitfall.
Ford Gap has always been completely fair and upfront. The only reason you don't get a full refund is if you have not paid your loan off in full. You just mentioned your INSURANCE paid it off. How is it that they had to pay for a large portion of your GAP in the payoff but you want THEIR refund? In your frustration you just made yourself look really uneducated. I'm going to assume you were just uneducated and not being purposely deceptive trying to commit insurance FRAUD or I would've turned this over to your local DA

sales
Customer # 692971. On 10-28-2019, I decided to get myself a divorce gift. I purchased a 2018 Ford Raptor, (first time Ford buyer) I also put $5000 down.
I like them, my ex didn't.
The sales person stated that Ford would pay my older vehicle off, $24, 00.00.
After looking at the paperwork two days later, to register my new vehicle. I see that Ford paid only $16, 500. with further review they rolled the complete $24, 000 back into my payment and not the $8, 000 that was left. I went back to Darling Ford and asked them to help me understand why the numbers did not make since, no one could. I asked them to make it right or give me my GMC back. They were quick to say there was nothing underhanded going on and I could have my GMC back. Ford also did some work to the GMC in the two days it was there and I had to pay a pill of $1300. My Dad is a Ford man through and through, all he has ever owned. He looked at the paperwork as well and said the paperwork was incorrect. I will never purchase a Ford, even though I love them. Horrible experience!
I wonder how many people this happens to and they don't even know it !
ford f150
I bought an f150 supercrew cab 3 years ago its a 2010 and its rusted through the back quarter panel just behind the back doors this is a truck that is 9 years old i am very disappointed in this current situation wuth this truck i spent a lot of money to buy this truck and its unacceptable that the rust is this bad and ive seen a lot of other f150 trucks with the same rust problems in the same spots as mine. I have always been a ford man but this issue is making me think twice. I cannot afford to fix this issue so what am i supposed to do my truck isn't even 10 years old. Its discusting. This is obviously a manufacturing flaw.
lug nuts on 2017 expedition
The Lug Nuts on my vehicle are very obviously defective or designed to not be operational with very limited use. I have only had my tires rotated 2 times and now need to replace my tire at almost 50, 000 miles. The lug nut are not usable and needed to be replaced. This is completely unacceptable and dangerous. A person would be unable to change their tire/wheel due to this situation. Charge $60, 000+ for a vehicle and cannot provide a $50 working part that has been previously well designed for 50 years. Their reason for the redesign is appearance, but their lug nuts look horrible after one use and are replaced anyway. Ford knows these are a poor design and every company that works on a Ford knows that they are a poor design. Been a Ford owner all my life (age 60), I guess it is time to consider other brands as quality has very little interest at Ford.
redemption dept
I have been trying to contact Ford Redemption dept. I was a victim of identity theft. Apparently the checks (and I have a list of the check s)
got taken out of the mail box. I was traveling for about 6 weeks. Thought the payment had made it to the PO Box I sent it to every month.
Got back to Ohio and made my Sept payment and received a statement finally had not gotten one for over 5 months. I found I owed 3 payments. Next day the truck showed up and took the Leased Car. I was told by the tow company everything would be uploaded to
Ford Redemption the next morning. Was told when I called they had not received the info yet.
So I talked to the redemption dept and went through a short interview and found what I had to do. Send the payment mongram express which was done on Monday evening Oct 28, 2019. Called them the next day because they are only opened till 5 and this was done at approx
635 PM, Tuesday called got asked to hold and got cut off 3 times. That happened the next 2 days. Thursday was on hold and finally someone came on and took the info and said someone would call back before the close of business. DID NOT HAPPEN
I have left the account number and the receipt number and nothing has happened. I do not want anything else to happen as the car going to be sold because everything is NOW paid up. I explained I was sorry this happened and did all I was told to do and still NO ANSWER.
Please explain what I need to do to get my vehicle back Ronald Schilke [protected] Escape 2018 Ford Lease Sept 2018

rattle inside of truck
I purchased a 2018 ford F-150 Lariat brand new. This vehicle now has 13400 miles on it. I have had a rattle in the passenger side middle and back now for 6 months. I have taken it to 2 dealerships. One could not hear any thing the other has had it 22-3 times. Even went on road test with the person logging it in and then she as well took it on a road test with one of the mechanices. Both heard what I have been hearing, however they say they cannot locate it. One time they told on the first work order #835809/1 that they seemed to have fixed i quoiting TSB 18-2361 and installed 2 linch pieces of heater hose and 2 clamps under the bar under the pass seat All ok now. I looked and seen none of what they are talking about and the noise is still there. They kept it over night and i think it just sat in the yard the next day until I came over and picked it up Stating they still could not find the noise, and was given 0 paper work. I have call the tech 3 times today and left message to call me. It is now 445 pm Utah time and still no call. I dont think they know what the hell there doing. Just replace the whole truck that I am paying over 40 K for and will start over. Other wise lets get someone who knows what there doing and fix this problem I cannot afford to run back and forth 220 miles each way every time they need it. And Tischners Ford here in town suck.
