Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za service at the till point by supervisor

Hi I have been to your game store in Amamzimtoti Galleria mall on the 10th of April 2018 at about 18:35, where I had went in to purchase a microwave, The promo 28L Defy metalic microwave R1199 Now R1099.So I liked the item and so I took it, I got at the till point and the item was scanned i had noticed that it was now R1199 as apose to R1099, i queried with the cashier she looked abit annoyed with me however she called for the supervisor, they spoke in isizulu which i dont understand, however i didnt bother i explained to her as to what i saw, we both went to check if i was correct, and i was, she then told me the guys put up the promo sign early but I'll give it to you, it was like she is doing me a favour. So we get at the till point and i told her so now i get this item for free, she laughed at me and told me im giving you the item at the price you saw that enough, so i was amazed as to her town amd she still walked away from me mumbling to her self..so i told her according to CPA this is what you do, i wouldnt of minded if she was polite.but that supervisor was rude.I would like to hear from tou guys.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za corruption

To whome it may concern
Our government has been working with entities like game and multichoice to create employment. But what worth is it if employees at these entities are are corrupt.

I am a registered dstv installer who has been trying hard to make ends meet all because of lack of work .
Multichoice and elsat have made it easy to get installation jobs by providing a voucher system where by a customer buys a decoder at Game and as installers we provide the technical service paid for by elsat and multichoice.
Since you can imagine a consultant at Game stores eastgate named Lawrence has seen an opportunity to sell these jobs to installers . which is really unfair cause these employees get a salary from game but ultimately jump to reep off a technician struggling on the ground.
Out of my misery i agreed to go along with this up until this Lawrence guy became rude and a bully verbally attacking me and sending threats all because i couldnt pay him at his given time

I urge Game stores to look into this because otherwise as installers we will run an online petition to shame these people since this has become a standard procedure in all Game stores and we will like Elsat and multi choice south Africa to revoke this voucher system at this store for this to end

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za laptop

I bought a Laptop at Game, I have had to return to game six times with complaints! I am disgusted at the service, the nonchalant attitude and the help I've received. I am sure Game is selling Grey computer. I am fed up and I want a refund. I do not want a Game laptop! I would rather buy from another shop. I have never had so many problems and complaints with a laptop. And I have been using laptops for 19 years!

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za defy fridge

On 29 Dec 2017, I purchased a fridge from Game in Amanzimtoti for our holiday flat.
The rubber on the doors are totally out resulting in both fridge & freezer not closing.
I switched it off & then contacted Game.
We then had to wait for the technician to contact us. We were now back home in Jhb.
My husband then went to Amanzimtoti on 7 February to meet with the technician. The technician agreed that the fridge should be replaced, as it had not been in use.
To date we have had no resolution to this. We have contacted the sales person, who is the most unhelpful person we met. Between the salesperson and the Defy service centre, we get no feedback & are being given the runaround.
We are losing money, as we have not been able to rent out our flat, due to the fridge not working.

The reference number is 836917 for the service centre.
My husband calls daily, but is passed to either salesman or the service centre.
What are we supposed to do to resolve this matter?

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za service

My name is Linda Vava, a regular client at Game for more than 10 years from now. I am very disappointed stressed up with the level of unprofessional and attitude that I have received this morning at Game Tygervalley branch in Cape Town by the manager with the name called John De Kok.

Saturday we had a house robbery at home but with the God's grace we managed to recover our electronics. Therefore I went to the store since I made a purchase in 2013, hoping that I was going to have a back up records since I lost this document. the police required a proof of purchased of our LG Plasma on the 02/07/2013 in-order to release back to us our belongings . He advised me that it was the owners responsibility for the client for such documents therefore he is not going to assist me. I was quiet disturbed for a such big brand store that could not assist me and theres nothing to be done because that was a long time ago and the sysytem has changed while the police would not be able to release without out a proof .

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za bad service

I went to game bloed street mall to purchase a tv set that I saw advertised on tv. After waiting for about 20 minutes for assistance a guy named James told me they didn't have stock for that tv set. I then opted for another one which was not on promotion and I was made to wait for another 10 minutes before being told I will not be assisted because my the surname on my id doesn't correspond with my licence which still has my maiden surname. I was then told to sort ot out with the sabc. To my surprise I applied for tv licence inside game stores a few years ago. I have a valid tv licence and a valid id but I can't purchase a tv set and I get bad attitude and a manager Mr Nkosinathi Thwala was less than interested in assisting. I spent my morning standing for nothing. As a paying customer am very disappointed .

Hi Boysen this is the 2nd time I had a problem with Game Lichtenburg about wrong pricing which I will attach some photos. I bought a big flex 3 razers. it was priced 41. Game refused to give it for that price. I showed them where the item was on the shelve and where the price was. The price for R41clearly specify big flex 3 for R41. I want that giods at that price. I am really fed up with the poor service from game and also the legal aspect of my rights as a consumer as per the cpa. The manager ia in capable of running that store and prices is a disaster. I need that item as per my rights. Im suggesting of also going to the beeld and local news paper. As this is the 2nd time it happend. The first time it was for axe deodorant which I did speak to you previously. If I dont get you I will log a complaint at hello peter and the news paper. I need urgent feedback. Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Samsung grand prime plus cell phone

I saw a Game (A-12757) paper advert valid 21 Feb-6 March-2018 indicating the price of the Samsung Grand Prime Plus as R1199. Upon arrival at the Kempton Park branch-Festival mall I was told this special did not exist albeit its been advertised. I ended up using the money to buy unrelated items becuase I drove all the way from Olifantsfontein just for that price-phone. Items I ended buying were Russel Hob Pressure Cook (R899) Auth no 501369 and Salton Food Steamer (R399) -Uth No 302309.

My complaint: Please refer me to any Game store in Gauteng where I can purchase the phone at the advertised price
Kind regards : Mashau Itani [protected]

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za I am complaining about being overcharged for items purchased at game stores gateway

To whom this may concern.

I went to Game Gateway today and to my horror I was incorrectly charged for 4 items which amounted close to R200. If I didn't check my till slip I would have went home and have been very, very disappointed. Firstly prices on their so called "special" was priced higher than a normal supermarket. Most of my items purchased was groceries. It amounted to over R2000. I shop every month at Game as I have a store card but after todays bad experience I'm actually thinking twice. I bought Simply Chicken polony priced at R34, 99 but was charged R49, 99. Thompsons viennas R31, 99 was charged R34, 99. Parmalat Full Cream Milk (6×1ltr) R69, 99 was charged R79, 99. Mcain stir fry 3 for R80. Paid 37, 99 each. I am already paying interest on my purchases and to be overcharged is madness. In this day and age we are all looking to save money and when one have been incorrectly charged it begs the question, how many people aren't looking at their till slips and are thinking their getting a bargain but are being robbed? Its the principle of the matter! I am utterly disappointed with Game and would like some positive feedback.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Computer / laptop

I, Frank Kasebidile bought a Del Intel Core 13 Bundle 3567 Laptop computer at game store "" Upington Game Store "" at a price of R5500 on the 06/10/2017 with a guarantee of 2 years...I only had it for 1 and a half month and it started giving problems and returned it to Game Stores to see what is the problem because it didn't want to function at all although I switch it on...They told us they will send it to Kimberly for repair and eventually they called after a month towards November that they found that it was liquid damage and the damage would cost me R8300...and I ask how could it be possible because in the first place it has a guarantee of 2 years; secondly I bought it for R5500 and now I must pay a some of R8300 for repairs ? And eventually, they told us that if we cannot afford to pay the amount of R8300, I must than pay an amount R400 to return it to us without repairing which I did but still waiting for the Laptop return to me in Upington because they said the Head Office was closed for the Festive Season and will take some time for computer to land at Game in Upington..We are now waiting for a computer that we cannot use at all...Please help ! Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Muvit charger + cable

Hi, I bought this charger in December in few days, charger was faulty and I returned it.

They had to track a receipt cause I used my credit card. I bought a new charger, same brand with the refund of a faulty one.

In two days, it was faulty too. Returning it I forgot a slip and asked a colleague to send photo of it but they refuse to help.

Sebastian (Store Manager) refused to help me.

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za Faulty lawnmower

We bought a lawnmower the first time in October 2017. My husband mowed the lawn only once with the Ryobi lawnmower that was bought at Game Somerset Mall in Cape Town. When he started the lawnmower it didn't wanted to start. He took it back to Game. Game was very understanding . They reached it with a lesser model a cheaper model. We bought the Ryobi on special, / discount for 2699. They replaced it with a Trimtech.

We have a very very small garden. Which means with the dry season we only now the lawn once a month. In Nov My husband mowed the lawn once. The send time at the end of Nov He mowed it again for the second time and I smelt petrol. We went on holiday in Dec. When we came back from holiday we took the lawnmower back to Game. The manager refused to replace the lawnmower. We insisted, but she send the lawnmower for repairs, / assessment. We don't want this, we want a new lawnmower seeing that we didn't even use the lawnmower more than two times. There's no way that we've damaged the lawnmower with mowing our lawnmower with our tiny garden. Game sold us again for the third time a faulty lawnmower.

The first time was three years back. After a few months the lawnmower gave problems. We took it back to be fixed. But after awhile it gave problems again. We then didn't bother to take it back to Game. We bought a new one at Builders rather. A cheaper one. After three years it started giving problems. That's why when I saw the offer I bought the Ryobi at Game.

We work very hard for our money. Cant afford to get a repaired lawnmower again. Lawnmowers that are repaired always gives problems again.

I payed a lot of money for the lawnmower to be faulty so quickly.

As avalued customer I urge you to look into this matter.

My e mail adress is [protected]@hotmail.co.uk

I don't believe in repaired items. We insist on a brand new lawnmower seeing that we bought a new one not a faulty lawnmower. Hope to hear from you soon.

Mr and Mrs Coetzee

Game Stores South Africa / Game.co.za My account

Morning, , on the 12 November, i went to Game stores N1 City, where i had made a perches of +-R70 at the same time "i left my card at game stores N1 city" or should i say that the cashier never gave me back my card.. I had received a call minutes later from game N1 city, that i had left my card there. but i was driving and almost at home, so i said i will collected it in the month, So on the 30 November, when i wanted to pay my game account, i went to Game stores Sanlam Center, i then cancelled my card that i left at N1 city and opened a new card at Sanlam Center so that i could deposit R300 on my account and which i did, Now to my supersize on the 11 December when i needed to use my credit for food and electric, i was in the negative on my account, i then called head office they said that there was 2 perches made on the 12 November one for +-R70 which i know of & ANOTHER OF +-R250 witch i have no record of, , so game staff used my card and bought who knows what, , put me in the arrears, hope it does not effect my credit record, i didnt have food or electric for the this week, i had to go pawn my equipment to buy food, which i have to pay interested on to get it back, just cause game staff like to take part in illegal activity, just how safe is my account ? how do i know that other purchases was'nt made on my card in the past, , cause a card is not needed to perches just the card number, , and i dont get a notification on cell phone or mail when perches, im not a rich person, im the only bread winner in the family of 3, I'v had a game account for some years now, , but iv never gotten a thank you card or email, , my credit has not been increased, , its like Game Stores don't care for the people. Now i have to go get affidavit from local police station and i must write a letter regarding the incident and my finding of the misuse of my game card.. I'D JUST LIKE TO THANK GAME FOR MAKING MY FESTIVE SEASON TOUGHER THAN WHAT IT IS"", pls feel free to contact me @ [protected]@ctmarket.co.za or [protected]
