Service dogs in Wisconsin
I am a frequent customer of goodwill store in antigo wi. Several of the boss's "team leaders" say, "you can't bring that dog in hear". that's how they say it. I have heard it twice, and the customer says this is my service dog, I need him with me all the time. I am shocked goodwill is supposed to be a training facility for mentally and physically challenged people and they don't know the laws.
I meant to say bring your dogs in here. I was really upset when I wrote this article.

Clearly this is fraudulent practice, I've bought from Shopgoodwill and paid for shipping that was determined 7 pounds on the site but when the package arrived it clearly stated 2 pounds on the label.
I also know that FedEx and UPS will refund the store if they were overcharged for the shipped item due to weight or size discrepancies..
Desired outcome: Do something with this fraud company.
Racist employee #216861 at Store 088
I shop at Multiple Goodwills, at least twice a week, for over 13 years. This situation was the absolute worst I have ever seen at any store. At store #008, Ray and 48th street in Phoenix, Cashier employee #216861, exhibited the worst racist and discrimitory rant I have ever seen. The cashier, a black female, went totally un-hinged, at two mexican-american's, yelling at them for not being in the correct line. The line the two mexican americans were standing at a check out lane, that DID have a open light, which employee #216861 turned off at the begining of her rant. #216861 repeatley called both of them (a male and female), "You people", "You people need to follow the rules", "You people need to give me space", "you people need to social distance", "This is my line, and you people need to listen to me". The mask wearing #216861 was acting completly INSANE! It was embarrasing for everyone, people left the store, #216861 needs serious mental help, and specifially, and needs to be working someplace else.
Desired outcome: Employee #216861 needs to be fired, and I do not say that lightly in these days, but her behavior was completly unacceptable. If she is not removed, I will file a Civil Rights Complaint against GoodWill

My complaint is against the Goodwill store - Goodwill Industries of Kentucky - Lexington. They sold me a jewelry lot they listed and described as "48.3 Grams Sterling Silver SS925 Mexico Wearable Bracelet & Brooches Pins". Upon further inspection and testing, I found that roughly half of the jewelry is made of brass and copper, and is not 48.3 grams of sterling silver as they listed. I understand that mistakes happen so I informed the store of my findings and sent them proof of my testing. I requested a partial refund or a return label to send the jewelry back to them for a full refund. I was shocked to see their employee Vanessa reject my return request completely, regardless of the evidence I presented. They committed blatant fraud and aren't even trying to hide it. They are trying to say the jewelry brass/copper is an embellishment, like a gemstone. Their policy states jewelry may contain embellishments. However, as can be clearly seen in the attached pictures, the jewelry is made with mixed metals. The brass/copper and sterling silver are all fused together as one piece and was not an addition. Even their manager was absolutely no help as he concurred with Vanessa's communications with me. They flat out rejected all return options and then disabled/blocked my account from further purchases. I have been a loyal Goodwill customer for decades and have purchased hundreds of products through them. Buyers BEWARE of this store! They will tell you they are selling you something desirable and will ship you a turd!
Desired outcome: I want a refund and my bidding privileges restored, as well as an apology from their employees and management.

Went to Bartlesville Oklahoma Goodwill on Friday July 21st at approximately 5:30 pm. I always check the counter display first thing and found this doll. I ask if I could put in my cart while I shopped and was told no they would keep for me till I was done shopping. Shopped about an hour spent 122.00 dollars ask for my doll and was told they had sold to someone else. I ask why and she said she thought I was gone. The doll was still in the store under the counter in a bag. The manager refused to make this right so I will not be going back there to spend my money. This was wrong and I was first person to say I was buying this item and when they wouldn’t make it right I was very disappointed.

Customer service
I shop at Goodwills frequently and enjoy chatting with fellow shoppers. In the past I have never had a problem or an issue at any of the goodwills I frequent. I was at the Cornelius one a week ago and had been shopping and talking to the regulars like we normally do when we see each other and I had just pulled out a folding chair that was .99 I was going to purchase. Jimmy was bringing out furniture. I moved each time to give him space to put out new items. Out of no where an employee named Lisa goes and tries to pull the chair out of my hand. I asked what she was doing and she yells we can't sell it if you're sitting in it. She refused to let go of the chair. It was Senior Citizen's day and not all people can stand for long periods of time. I was very upset and so were my fellow shoppers about how rude and ugly she was. I couldn't understandf how or why it was necessary to be so rude and unprofessional while working with the public. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and customer service is put before your feelings. Jimmy came out later and asked me if I was ok. I talked to the manager but I knew after speaking with him he wasn't going to do anything. I want be going back.

I am a customer that used to frequently go to Goodwill in Rutland County so that’s Rutland city and I don’t go in there very often anymore because they’re very snarky and they really do not care about their customers whatsoever. They don’t even offer to give you a bag, they act like you don’t even belong there, it’s almost like they don’t want any customers I believe that maybe some of these young girls need to probably get cleaned out and the prices are beyond ridiculous and the customer service is disgusting and I’m disgusted with the way they were rude to my mother, she’s an elderly woman Please clean this place out and see that they’re totally breaking the law
Shipping
I have never seen a company that charges over 200.00 for a delivery on 4 small items. Why is shipping so much with this place. I order a pair of shoes anywhere else n shipping is about 12.00 but with this place it's 20.00 to 25.00 it's no way it cost that much to ship shoes. I also was going to oder a action figure they want 20.00 shipping on that. It cost 4.49 on posh mark or ebay so why 15 dollars more with goodwill. Unbelievable.
Desired outcome: They need to let people pick the shipping company they want . Like with usps they only charge by weight .

Goodwill Industries, Greensboro, North Carolina
The Goodwill store in Greensboro, NC sold me a ring they said was sterling silver with diamond accents. I paid to have the ring sent to me in North Dakota. When the ring arrived, I tested the ring and it is junk costume jewelry, made of copper and there are no diamonds in the ring. When I notified the store of their error and sent them the proof of the tests, showing their ring is not what they said it was, they told me I could pay to ship the ring back to them (second time paying for shipping) and they would retest the ring (why didn't they test it prior to selling it). If the ring was found to not be sterling silver, they would refund my purchase price, but not the shipping and handling fees. When I told them that is absurd that I should pay anything for the junk they shipped me, they disabled my account. Can you imagine that? They commit fraud and then double down on it and then tell the customer they have to pay for that junk, even though they lied from the start. I tried to contact them through the website and tried to reach their management. They were NO help whatsoever. This store is HORRIBLE! Do NOT trust them and do NOT buy anything from them. They run the store like used car salesman! Every employee at that store should be FIRED! To be clear, my complaint is not with Goodwill as a whole. It is specifically the Goodwill store in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Desired outcome: Full refund of purchase price and ALL fees! I do not want to pay 1 single penny for this junk ring! And, I want my account re-enabled as I did NOTHING wrong to warrant being blocked from purchasing.

I have lived here for 5 years from Atlanta/and many travels abroad. the Brunswick location never offers the color discount tags/military/ no anything. I try to wait till I go home to shop at goodwill. For one you're not questioned as if you were not supposed be shopping there unless you have ID. This country is nowhere close to united. I am a Veteran I am questioned more about $5 than someone who gets their hair and nails done and NEVER work. So, my time and taxes are paying for that/ along with all the children they decided to have on working citizen's clock. I shop at Goodwill because I like it/even though your company is receiving free merchandise that you charge for. The Brunswick location in all my travels has been the most challenging location. I have not expressed this until today hoping they would go back to accommodations for the CUSTOMERS that's keeping salaries paid. They are not doing bad because it's the only one here. From now on I will wait for my travels to continue to shop with Goodwill/I don't blame the workers indoors their just following orders from regional/instore management/as a result turnover is hi.

It seems they have forgot that they are a thrift store and people shop there because they have to not because they want to for clothing. I purchased a pair of men's shorts they were $12.99 I thought that was quite expensive but they seem nice I looked online they were $13.99 brand new at a large Nationwide department store That's what pushed me to write this review that's appalling to see a store taking advantage of people that are forced to shop at thrift stores.
