Started leaking water. Called LG and they were no help. Called Home Depot about the warranty bought from them. Told me to call Allstate, they handle all the warranties. Was no way to be able to speak to anyone. Just go to their computer site. Where you find no way to find out anything about HD warranty.
The HD warranty is just a joke.
They need to take back the Warranty work so the customer can have the service they need.
I buy almost everything from HD and think they are a great company, but their warranty is terrible.
Kitchen installation services
For our kitchen remodel they charged $35 for the floor installer to come out and measure. Then he told us they don't do the uninstall and reinstall for appliances. Waiting long at garden center. Girl talking too much. Finally get to register, she refused to acknowledge me. Asked her to call for help as over 10 people behind me. She went crazy mad 😡 and told me not to tell her how to do her job. Then ripped my cart out of my hands shoving across the isle. She then said she could wait on who she Fu-- wanted too. Then said for me to leave. I went to service desk and asked for manager. He goes to her and not me. I had to eith my cane walk back and feel embarrassed. Manager was Zero help even when I told him she cursed at me. Used the F word at me. I will gladly tear up my CC with them. Punk trash to disrespect a senior who is handicapped.

Deceptive policies and discriminatory business practices
Order #WP60601784 was delivered April 15, 2023, within 2-hours we initiated an exchange for the Samsung dryer received for a Samsung washer and dryer on April 15 at Store #2583 (see attached), as directed by Home Depot's customer service. The exchange was approved. However later in the day, one of the associates present during the exchange was instructed by Jessica, appliance manager, to cancel the transaction including the confirmed pickup scheduled for April 19. We were not provided with a justification. I spent the rest of the day calling and corresponding with Home Depot's virtual assistants for a resolution to no avail.
Most concerning was the lack of direct interaction with effective management. I attempted to speak with the store manager, Brian, but was told he was unavailable until Monday. I spoke with Brizeida, store #2583's customer service experience manager, who was particularly unpleasant. Further Gloria Weaver, virtual customer service assistance manager, called me at approximately 8pm, requesting a picture of the dryer to confirm it is in the same condition as received. I immediately emailed a picture to Gloria, she confirmed receipt. She then proceeded to challenge our experiences and provided yet another explanation for the day's events which are contradicted by our documentation.
The change in Home Depot's decisions and actions after approving our requested changes demonstrates discriminatory and inconsistent business practices. When I shared our concerns with Manager Weaver, she stated that Home Depot hires people of all genders as proof the company doesn't discriminate. I have no idea why Manager Weaver assumed the corporation's discrimination was gender and/or identity based, you have to ask her.
In addition to not honoring the Corporation's contractual obligations, we were subjected to differential treatment and unpleasant interactions with Home Depot staff and management. Therefore, at 10a April 16, I canceled order H2583-729617 because we will not accept further mistreatment from Home Depot. We will, instead, purchase our washer and dryer and future home improvement needs from Lowe's.
Fair resolution: Complete the refund and return of order #WP60601784, initiated at store #2583 and approved by management as evidenced by the refund of the 3-year protection plan and confirmed pickup on April 19th (see attached receipt). Alternatively, we are willing to pay 15% restock fee and/or return the dryer to Store #2583 to resolve this matter. The dryer is in the exact same condition including packaging as received (see pictures). Further we met Home Depot's requirement for initiating changes to purchases within 48 hours. Absent a fair, effective resolution we will continue to pursue the matter.
Desired outcome: Complete the refund and return of order #WP60601784 as initiated at store #2583 and approved by management (see receipt). We offered a compromise in the above section.

The Home Depot located on 168th street in Jamaica Queens has to be be one of the worst in the USA. The kind of people employed there need to be removed and replaced by others who are interested in working. Help from most of the store reps. are next to zero. The answer is “oh, I don’t work in this aisle” will get someone to help you which never happens. The lines are long at checkout with just 1 or 2 cash registers open. The self check out has been closed for a while now. Store reps. could be seen congregating in groups and using their phones even when at the cash register. Customers training is required.
Re-stocking fee
On April 12, 2023, I had a Samsung double oven delivered to my home that I bought on line. I was looking on line for a manual, so I could find out how to use it. There was not a manual in the box. I found on the Costco website that the exact same oven was $1,400 cheaper. I called Home Depot and asked them to match it. They refused. Since it was a considerable amount of money and the website does say you have 48 hours to return your purchase, I told them I would return the oven. They retorted that they were going to charge me at 15% re-stocking fee. When I purchased the oven, I did not see anything about that on line. The website never alerted that upon purchase. Sorta bait and switch there.
The Home Depot website says "they MAY charge a re-stocking fee...not that they WILL charge a re-stocking fee. Very gray area.
This is a very poor business practice and not fair to the consumer. If you charge a re-stocking fee, you need to clear upon purchase. Home Depot, you were not and you need to be consise in your return policy.
Order placed
order #WB41703675 was placed on 3/28 it was to be delivered on 3/29 half order show up then was told second half will come later, No show that day so I called that night and appointment make to deliver second half on the 30 of March between 6 to 10 am no show so called again computer informed me that order cancelled. Being upset I when to another store pick up my products to begin my work. Then a driver calls at 12.18pm that he was delivering my stuff getting upset I then told driver I no longer needed it .I then called Home Depot for a refund salesperson inform me he could refund me till they get the products back to store and there will be 3 to 5 business days for refund. So I waited till April 10 still no refund back to calling store #0226 told a supervisor would call me back no call so called on the 11 on hold 15 minutes a women answered saying there was a problem and needed my credit card again to process my refund. I hate to say but this was a nightmare Ihope this is the end Thank You Richard A Harrison

Unsatisfactory Service
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the delay in delivery of my washer, dryer, and refrigerator. I placed my order on March 25th with the expectation that it
would be delivered to my home within a week. Unfortunately, the delivery was delayed, and I will not receive my appliances until April 15th.
This delay has caused me significant inconvenience as I had to make alternative arrangements for laundry and food for my family and me during this period.
Moreover, it is unacceptable that Home Depot could not deliver my appliances as promised, especially considering the amount of money I paid for them.

Windows
We ordered 14 windows with brown jams... We got white. Most don't open and some won't close. Missing screens... Two put in backwards. Missing the main feature trap window.. They couldn't get the size right. 3 windows have lost a 1/3 of the glass they made them so small we lost soo much light. Complete [censored] show. We were told by jorge twice he re-ordered the correct windows so we waited 6 months then he told us he couldn't get the correct ones! He told us he was giving us our deposit of $6000. Back to make us whole... Then he started harassing us to make the full payment amount! We do not have what we asked for or what we were told by the salesman wer was to receive not even close!

Military discount is a fraud
Purchased today storm doors at Home Depot in Tigard,Oregon.
Beware. Military discount declined. Only useful for lumber and other
very specific merchandise. I have been a faithful Home Depot cus-
tomorrow over many years. I have paid cash for everything in recent memory. No issues; however, (hopefully to save without military deduction) I applied for a Home Depot card and the card too was declined.
Obviously the military discount is a 'come on' fraud.
I don't believe Home Depot cares about anything concerning the USA.
With all the China manufactured items in their stores, they are un-american. I will shop at Lowe's from now on irregardless of price or place of mfg.

Apple gift cards
I purchased a two Apple Gift Cards from two different stores and both were invalid and could not be redeemed. Apparently someone had tampered with the cards and switched them out. After several phone calls to customer support I was advised to go the stores to resolve the. matter. Both stores took all my information and told me it would take a couple of weeks but that the cards would be sent to me in the mail. It’s been over a month and when I called customer support on this they told me to check with the stores. I’ve run out of patience with this and I’m tired of going to the stores and talking with people that keep telling me misinformation. If this doesn’t work then I’m escalating to the BBB.

This LG fridge broke down. I filed a claim on March 19th. Since then, I have never had any contact with the field repair technician (Cemi Appliance). I have spent over 20-25 hours calling the Home Deport Protection line (Asurion/SquareTrade/AllState?), the LG Electronics of Alabama and Cemi Appliance. I am getting the run-around between Cemi Appliance (who never answer their phone), LG Electronics of Alabama (wicked evil crooked people without a soul), and Asurion (liars and masters of empty words). My problem is not only that the fridge is not fixed but I don't even have an appointment or even know when it is going to be fixed.
Now, the new game that Asurion is playing is that the service repair person can't hold of me. The way I see it is that the Home Deport Protection plan is a scam. You can be assured that not only will I never purchase any LG products but that I will never step foot into another Home Deport store again. If you hire wicked evil liars like Asurion, then you are just like them. They are doing business under your name.
Desired outcome: Fix my less-than-four-year-old fridge like you promised when I bought the protection plan.
Shower seals peeling, detached faucet plate & yellow stain under under lifetime warranty
I purchased a "MICROBAN" Luxury bath system (plain white walls & bathtub) on 6/19/2011, with the promise of a "Lifetime Limited Warranty" which cost us $3,987.00, (order # 6303348) 7 months later the seals were peeling off, I reported it & in a week they sent a repair man & took care of it. 10 years later same issue plus faucet cover plate came of the wall, on 3/09/2023 I requested repair in person spoke with "Customer Experience Mgr.", provided pictures and then this Mgr "borrowed" all my paperwork to make copies of whatever he thought useful, then he handed them back, but upon arriving home I notice there were 2 documents missing.
I called him & emailed for a week inquiring with no response for a week, I went to collect those missing documents ones and only was given one by another employee that said that was all he gave her. My Warranty Certificate "misteriously dissappeared". After 2 weeks this repair request has been transferred to Home services, then another person contacted us again they all requesting pictures & documents all over again, I even contacted our local Home depot top manager to complain about that manager for the poor management & losing my Warranty certificate. 2 more people have contacted us requesting all over again pictures & documents, 28 days later I'm still waiting for a response for a repair & with that plate lose exposing moisture into the wall will turn this into a Hazardous MOLD problem.

Patio Umbrella solar led not working trying to return it order #WB38350828
On 02/15/2023,I placed an order online for an Hampton Bay 11ft umbrella with LED Solar.
It was delivered on 02/24/2023, left in our drive way. I wasn't told that the local store was going to be dropping it off.
I'm only 120ibs I hired a handyman to put the umbrella together.
We turned it on the charge the solar in order to have lights at night, it didn't work the lights weren't working after 48 hours.
I contacted Home depot customer service 5 times and was hung up on three times.
Spoke to a Eddy Reed that had me on hold for 1hour and 35mintues.
Also spoke with Jose he was very nice and transfer me to a team lead that set up the return for March 29, 2023.The store I'm being told came out to pick up the umbrella, he would not take it and was told to bring it back to the store or take it apart, or they would send two people out. Never received a call or anyone coming back out
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and for them to pick up this umbrella.If it needs to be taken apart then pay for the handyman to come back out and take it apart, or pay a handyman to bring it to Home Depot.
Manager on duty Ethan refused to call and verify my valid special financing offer
I visited the Prattville AL store approximately 6:45pm. I ask the customer service representative about the price on a toolbox that was in store and online. The store has overstock of large toolboxes left over after Christmas. The box I was looking at was the Husky 41". The store only has black but about 8 of them on the floor. They are priced at $798. On-line is an identical box but for $698. I had 1st asked about maybe getting one of the ones on the floor for that price.
The friendly customer service representative got the manager in on duty (Ethan) to come talk with me. He immediately would not consider. I then asked if he could do anything off of the box in the store. He said no, the only thing we can do is order a red one fat the lower price for you and have it soon. I wanted to go ahead and get a box tonight. He then said only if you open a Home Depot card, we can give you 10% off.
I then told him I already have a Home Depot card and he said that would not work then. I then showed him a special financial offer of 10% off or 24 months; however, the one I had in my pocket expired 4 days ago. I get those regularly and actually received another one before that offer expired which is valid now. Only thing I can't put my hands on it. Ethan then told me I would just have to find it if I wanted the 10% off. I advised him that the employees have always offered to call and verify my offer. In fact, often the employees will offer that to me when I make a large purchase without asking. His comment was you will just have to find the letter.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from Ethan. Lowes has 54" red Craft $787. I'm looking here at the Husky 41" black for $798. It would be nice to get it for the same price as the red one on-line you have for $698 and use my offer.
Kit, multi-tool & sander
This is an email I sent to Ryobi and they told me they can't help me to call Home Depot.

Kit was delivered in plain brown box with shipping label only. I received a multi tool and a sander loosely tossed into box. No packing materials used whatsoever and NO blades, sandpaper or anything else. I looked at home depot advertisement which looked like more parts should have been packaged.
Not only that but I can't register online due to model numbers don't match anything. I have a LOT of Ryobi tools and I know that something is wrong. 85 minutes hold time and really slow chat, too slow, had to terminate chat.
Left me speechless. This email is my LAST resort to acquire help. BTW nobody called back as said they would.

Hi My name is Alvin Balay González, from Ponce, Puerto Rico. I am very dissapointed with HomeDepot. In all this years as a frequent customer, I can not believe how I was treated yesterday at HomeDepot in Ponce.
My wife bought me as a gift a Lawnmower around 45 days ago. It was not given to me until this Friday March 31st 2023. By error, my wife bought a small Lawnmower because it was less expensive. Yesterday, one day after I received my gift, I went to the HomeDepot to return it, with the same purchase money get a bigger one and pay the difference. The store manager, came to inspected the item, he notice and accepted it was brand new, but did not wanted to change it for a new one, bacause it is a gasoline equipment and has past more than a month since my wife bought it. I explained to him that it was a gift that was given one day ago and the machine is brand new. He sarcastically offer me a discount to buy a new one, but I must keep both. I do not need two Lawnmower!. I just needed one. He just not accepted and left.
What?. Now I have a brand new Lawnmower at home that I will not use. And have to buy another. I request it can be change for the one I need and pay the difference. That's the only thing I need.

On 03/25/23 I called my local Home Depot on Cleveland Ave in Columbus, OH to inquire about some potting soil. The first time I called someone picked up the phone and immediately put me on hold. NOBODY picked up the line. I called back, asked for the gardening center and got transferred. A rep picked up the line, I asked about their potting soil. I was then told "I'm at lunch and I can't answer your question WHILE I'm at lunch"! I asked him WHY he answered the phone, he said "BECAUSE IT RANG"! I then asked for his name and he immediately hung up on me. I called back to speak to the store manager AND this time they didn't even give me a chance to talk, they saw my phone number AND immediately transfered me back to the gardening center which wasn't what I wanted had they properly picked up the first time. A guy then answered saying "GARDENING CENTER, THIS IS NORM, WHAT DO YOU WANT"? I then asked if he's the same person who just hung up on me, he replied "NO BUT WHAT DO YOU WANT"? I demanded to speak to a manager immediately! I then heard him walk to a manager AND tell the manager "get the phone there's an angry lady who wants to talk to you". I tell the manager the whole situation AND the ONLY thing he cared about was training his new employees to not answer the phones while at lunch. He didn't care about anything else. I spoke to Sean Montgomery on Monday who assured me an eGift card within 24 hours! I NEVER received that gift card! I called the customer service line throughout the entire week everyday, explaining the same thing and I was given different lies and stories regarding the gift card. I asked for supervisors and was told they can't get one on the line, etc. This company has extremely rude and unprofessional employees working for them. None of them care about their customers or even try to go the extra mile to get anything resolved and on top of that they lie to customers just to get them off the phone! Extremely bad for business!
