KFC food poisoning

I tried the New KFC Toasted Twister at KFC Northmead in Johannesburg.
Within an hour I was throwing up and had food poisoning from the chicken.

This is unexceptable!

KFC second grade food for second grade citizen

I'm not sure on how to approach KFC or Management at Phumulani KFC about this matter because I'm sure as hell that they know that what they are serving is not KFC! Has the owner even tasted what he is selling to us?

I have personally bought meat there on few occasions but was never sure if it was just mt taste buds or the are serving us secong grade meat.

Having such a trained palate, i can only assume that they are using cooking oil that have been over used and needs to sold for recycling or whatever. To top that up they overheat the oil or since the oil is too old it overheats and burns the spices on the chicken. That oil is not good for human consumption and is putting my health and the health hundreds of other people at risk.

I hope KFC as a whole doesn't take this matter lightly!

KFC does not recycle

I am disgusted that taco bell and kfc chose not to recycle; especially considering the amount of wasteful packaging your fast food products fill our landfills. There was no recycle bins in your McLaughlin location. I spoke to a manager who stated that you do not recycle and it may occur in the future. With the knowledge we have now about how important it is to recycle; I am extremely dissatisfied that your company outright chooses not to protect the environment by recycling and using environmentally safe cleaning products. Where is your corporate social responsibility for the environment? Due to this frequent disregard for our environment, you just lost a customer who’s favourite fast food restaurant used to be Taco Bell. Please email me back with a time and date of when I can expect to see the recycle bins and I’ll return as a customer on that same day. Ate there on sept 11 2010 for dine in lunch we had KFC and Taco Bell meals. Corporations should be fined for producing unneccesary garbage!

Sept 11 2010 – tried to email my complaint twice – did not receive any notification that it was received - my complaint was sent to never never land and I will probably never hear from them.

KFC kfc food is substandard

This is the third report I am writing about KFC's food. I have never had such a problem with any other fast food, and I am honestly contemplating not purchasing KFC any more.

First of all, neither my nor my brother's Boxmaster had any cheese, which we weren't even informed about before given the order. Second, the chicken in the Streetwise 2 that we ordered was incredibly dry, as if it had been cooked hours before. i am really disappointed in the quality of KFC's food lately.

KFC disgusting service and sub standard quality for food

We were waiting in the so called drive through for over half an hour getting more and more frustrated with the wait and to top it all off people were pushing in from the other side’s entrance. It was close to 40 minutes when we finally placed our order, we asked for this new combo of there’s and they said 'Sorry we don’t have any milkshake for that combo' How can they have such a big advertising campaign and not have any milkshake? Besides for not having what we wanted they where not interested in changing it for a coke or something else. Just to top it all off they got the order wrong and the one burgers meat was tough and dry? Disgusting service and sub standard quality for food!

KFC another milkshake complaint

This is now the third time I visit the Big Bay branch before 11am. (they open at 9am) and want to order a milkshake but, it seems that at this time of the day there is always some excuse why milkshakes are not available. This morning I was told 'the machine is currently on heat mode'. Does this mean I can order a hot chocolate instead? If milkshakes are only available at certain times of the day, please put some notices up. I see there are numerous people on this website with similar complaints so this is not an isolated case.

On Wednesday this week I ordered from this branch as well. The large coleslaw bowl was only filled half way. I ordered a large and also paid for a large - so there can be no excuse. Had I noticed this before I reached home, I would have returned it. This morning I ordered the regular coleslaw which was indeed filled to the top. Much better value for money than a half filled large one.

I am a bit disappointed as this branch is only 6 months old. As a patron, I am not difficuilt to please. All I want is to be able to purchase what is offered on the menu and receive what I pay for.

KFC bad customer service and bad attitude from manager

I purchased food at this outlet and paid with my debit card and upon me waiting for my food, an sms notification from my bank notifying me of the transaction going through succesfully, while waiting I was waiting for my food to be given to me so I could be on my way.

The lady who was helping me told me that the transaction was unsuccesful, she then called her Manager Aurelia and she told me the same thing, i showed both of them the sms notification which was proof that my account had been credited by them and Aureila adamantly disputed this with me. I am very dissappointed with the lack of knowledge and embarrasment i experienced at that Kfc as I was even asked to go to the back of the store.

My question to these people was 'how can i be notified that money has been taken out of my account without the money leaving my account'? this lady was so adamant that the card had declined, i left without my food. I have just checked my bank statement on the internet and my account is less my purchase amount. I demand some action be taken ASAP and i would like for my money to be refunded into my account as in yesterday! Kfc is going to the dogs!

KFC zinger chicken not available at milnerton kfc

I have been at KFC Milnerton on 4 occassions over the last 3 weeks and every time requested Zinger chicken just to be told that I would have to wait between 14 and 20 minutes for Zinger chicken.

On 6 September I asked how it could be possible that they never seemed to have Zinger chicken available and was told that it is not very popular and therefore they don't keep much Zinger chicken in stock.

I think that this is totally unacceptable given that KFC is running quite an estensive ad campaign advertising Zinger chicken.

KFC mold found on my famous bowl

I purchased 2 famous bowls and one streetwise 2. Back at the of office i opened my famous bowl and to my surprise i found mold on my food - the other one was fine! I contacted the branch and spoke to Diane. She requested that i bring it back and she'll give me a new bowl and extra piece of chicken for the inconvenience. I took it back, BUT asked for my money back. She insisted that i should choose something else from their menu, i still refused, telling her that you just sold me OLD FOOD WITH MOLD ON IT. She corrected me, said that it's not the food that's old, but the cheese that is full of mold. Imagine, does that make it better? Now whether it's old food with mold on or moldy cheese, how can you sell something like that to a customer? On my photo's it's clear that the mold is growing on the food. Imagine it was dark and i didn't spot the mold, i would've fallen very ill. There was no chance in hell that i would've accepted anything else from someone who just sold me moldy food, would you?

KFC feathers on chicken pieces

I bought 5 pieces (spicy version) of KFC from their Kempton Park Branch. Cooking oil was dripping all over the place and eventually i had to cook something to eat. i left two pieces so that i can eat them at work today during lunch. Guess what: there were feathers all over the other two pieces. this is unacceptable, my hard earned R45 down the drain, just like that.

KFC worst kfc in the world

I ordered a burgermeal and sprinklepops at the drivethrough, and they gave me a burgermeal and a mini loaf. Luckely I had a look before I drove off. I returned the food through the window, and explained the problem. They then started preparing the sprinklepops. I then parked in the parking area and walked into the KFC. The staff were shouting to each other, they were very unorganised. One of the other customers asked one of the staff to quiet down and speak, not shout. I phoned the customer careline, and told them about my problem. They said that they were gonna phone the manager and sort out the problem. Five minutes later I phoned the careline again, requesting that they can keep the food, and give back my money. Again I was told that he's going to phone the manager. I logged a complaint with him, and stil havent heard anything. They did phone me last week and asked if I received a call, and when I told them no, they said they would come back to me. This is the worst KFC I have ever been to.

KFC this is the worst kfc in the country

This is the worst KFC in the country, the chicken is never fresh, the credit card machine and ice cream machines are always out of order. When the KFC first opened it was busy every night and the food was good. Now the place is ALWAYS Empty. We have always enjoyed the food at KFC and would hate for this branch to close due to a lack of support.

KFC stay away from them

At 17:30 today my husband went to KFC Richards Bay. He went into the store and ordered a variety Feast. He asked for Zingers. He then asked Zama TWICE if she is sure it is Zinger as he didnt think the sauce looked right. To which she answered YES twice. He then wanted to pay and when he produced his card, he was asked 'Dont you have cash?' if he did, he wouldnt use his card... ! He was then made to wait as Zamas card machine was not working. She was waiting for the person next to her to finish with their card machine... although there we a further 5 or so available card machines! My husband has just arrived home with the KFC... and surprise surprise... NOT Zingers, despite being asked twice! Luckily for Zama my husband was not prepared to drive back to KFC to complain as he is not impressed. One question...HOW HARD IS IT TO GET AN ORDER RIGHT...WHEN ASKED TWICE...? Zama needs to jack up her customer service and if she cannot remember an order...Maybe write it down? Not acceptable.

KFC they keep customers hostage and forcing them to except bad service to maximize profits

KFC has 2 branches in Paarl. One in Main Road and one in Lady Grey Street which are about 400 meters from each other. During office hours both branches are open as the Lady Grey branch is located in the commercial area. Note that they are 400 meters apart. After hours the branch in Lady Grey closes and only the Main Road branch remains open. KFC is popular in Paarl as in the rest of the country and all cliental is forced to the Main Road branch causing waiting times of up to 45 minutes and queues of 100 meters. KFC and the franchisee are misusing their market position, keeping customers hostage and forcing them to except bad service to maximize profits.

Are you addicted to KFC? No one is forcing you to do anything! If you don't like the KFC that's open, don't get KFC. Eat somewhere else. If enough people switch, the place with the bad service will either have to improve or go out of business.

KFC this is the second bad experience I have had at this branch

At 13h15 today my friend and I again made the fatal mistake of going to the Kentucky Fried Chicken branch in Beyers Naude Drive Cresta. After standing like lost souls for almost 10-15 minutes we were eventually served by Tiisetjo. WOW I was left speechless by her appalling attitude. She talked so fast that we had to keep on asking her to repeat herself so that we could actually figure out what she was trying to say to us. Then after getting the order, paying and waiting for it she again proceeded to mumble something back to us upon which I showed her that we actually really cannot hear what she is saying - then she screamed back at the top of her voice. Perhaps she should get some refresher customer service training? This is the second bad experience I have had at this branch. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER AGAIN TO THIS BRANCH.

KFC kfc fordsburg is the slowest kfc I have ever been

I have been to the Fordsburg KFC many times and every single time I go there it takes me almost 45 min to get my order. I do understand that if a shop is busy I wil wait a bit longer but for KFC which is know for their speedy service this is unacceptable. They take just as long when they not busy. The problem is that they dont have enough tills open and there does not seem to be any management going on. Believe mewhen i say this Branch gives a bad name to all the KFC in south Africa.

KFC always keeping customers waiting and inappropriate service delivery

Being a regular customer at KFC Chatsworth, I am not getting sick and tired of the service I am receiving. At least twice a week, I buy a take out at KFC Chatsworth Centre, most of the time, it is the 68 piece streetwise feast. Last week, I paid for the large chips but when I reached home, there was no chips, I could'nt waste petrol for a packet of chips so I overlooked it. The same week, I ordered a large chocolate milkshake and the container had milkshake all over it (I thought this was rather clumpsy), when we ask to speak to the manager, the waitrons mumble to themselves before they call the managers. The chicken is forever not ready in the afternoon and we are asked to wait at least ten minutes, I think that this is ridiculous, monitor your sales and prepare accordingly.
Last night's experience was horrible, we ordered a 6 piece streetwise feast and was told the same story, usually (well every week procedure), the waitron always swops a gravy for a colelslaw for us, last night we were told by the manager that it cannot be done, we must pay R2 more. I find this totally ridiculous, how is it that each manager has different rules? Also the two weak gravys is a waste of time.

KFC no zinger chicken

Okay so for the last month that KFC have had there Zinger chicken special, i have gone to KFC in Greenfields and Amalinda in East London about 20 times in total i think and each time was told.. You have to wait 20 Minutes for the chicken! 20 times! Come on KFC you should do better than that.. If not then why have the special at all if you dont have on hand chicken prepared like your original stuff...

KFC rude service

i was at Sunnybank shopping centre on the 26th August aorund about 7.30pm est i went to KFC and brought 2 meals one with a drink and a toy with other meal. the young lad slammed my food on table with attude didnt offer me a bag od=r nothin. i said 2 my children thats dumb not giving me a bag, the employee asked if i called him dumb i said yes u didnt even offer me a bag he said we are ###ing busy. i was appalled with the way he spoke to a customer i asked for the manager she came out and asked what the problem was told her what had happened and as i was telling her he told me piss off didnt want to hear my ###. He repeated himself twice and as he said this he was serving another customer. The manager did not apologised or take the worker off the register did not tell him to stop talking in that manner what so ever. she just stood there and smiled. there was no consequences what so ever for the way he spoke to me. U never talk like that to a customer no matter what the circumstances are. I noticed before he served me he was serving another customer and he had attitude with the customer and a lady had said to him u didnt give me serivettes with my order can i have one pplease and he gave her a pile with attitude again. I think this is very appauling attitude and no respect for his customers. He should of been dismessed on the spot/ taken off straight away and spoken to, but i seen none of the above. This should of been dealt with professionally and it didnt. I know my rights and what is/isnt approaite as i work in Retail myself and i would never act in that manner no matter what. The think the young lad was of indian by the name of Kritik and the manager was a young lass by the name of Jess, i only got their first names. i hope u can assist me with this matter and take appropiate action and hope to hear back from you Thank you for your time. KFC awful customer service

Quite possibly the worst fast food experience I've ever had. I ordered the "buy 8 pieces get 8 free deal". Except you have to order the $18.49 8-piece MEAL to get the free. So right off, their advertising is deceptive. But. hey, I should get 3-4 meals out of all this, right? Except:

1) This store doesn't carry the spicy chicken

2) Rice no longer available as a side (chain wide?)

3) No napkins given

4) No plasticware given

5) Out of hot sauce

6) Grilled chicken was old

7) Original recipe chicken was really old

8) One of two sides was wrong: Mashed potatoes and gravy (yuck!) instead of green beans. BOTH sides were entered wrong on my receipt so I guess I'm lucky to have rec'd mac & cheese instead of (barf!) cole slaw.

9) Two of my four biscuits were HALF biscuits. I'm supposed to eat something that looks like someone else already ate part?

10) Looking through leftover chicken I find a chicken? part that is in no way recognizable. I didn't dump the whole load out and count the parts so I don't know what someone THOUGHT it was but it's no part of any chicken I ever saw.
