KIA Motors Service

Hey folk,
The service provided by Nivan babaji is worst. I would suggest to go with some other dealer or car company that coming to them. They will make sure to make your life miserable from the day you book the car to every time you take it for service.
First, they will force you to purchase extended warranty, accessories and insurance from them only. If you say no then they will deny the delivery of car saying its company policy and we can't give you car. JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW KIA MOTORS DOSN'T SAY SO, ITS NIVAN BALAJI POLICY.
The service center is worst than their sales office. you have no clue when the car will be delivered. They will keep on increasing the time of delivery. On top of it, they will damage your car physically or its paint. Also, they have a team of calling associates who have no clue what is going on but will keep on calling you for a good rating and good customer satisfaction response. I have even noticed that the folks at the service center fill in the satisfaction form on their own and ask the customer to sign it.
When I said I am going to raise a complaint against all this they were like whom would you raise a complaint, noting is going to happen even if you raise a complaint.
Its better not to be associated with them if you want peace of mind.

KIA Motors Motor and clicking

I have a 2014 kia forte koup, 120, 500 miles.
About a month ago the car started skipping especially at a stop sign or red light, I stop driving it, and called Kia got an appointment, I was told it was the fuel injector, had it cleaned and a oil changed. Today I thought I would need a tow, the car is skipping a d you can feel the motor jumping I am scared I am going to be hurt.

KIA Motors 2016 Kia Sedona EX

I bought this vehicle brand new 7 miles in April 2016. I have taken very good care of it. Serviced and oil changes on target yet it has a cracked head. I feel like Kia needs to compensate. I love Kia this is my 3rd new one since 2012, but if this cannot be resolved I will never buy another. I still owe 9000$ on this otherwise perfect car
I know that Kia has motor issues, my son had a 2016 Sorento that has already had the motor replaced. This does not say much for Kia, but I still have faith in this brand that Kia will make it right. Thank you

KIA Motors Pan card -TCS -

Sir I bought Seltos in SVM Cars Iyyappanthangal chennai during March2021. At the time of booking (before 2 months from the date of delivery)my car i have given pan card. Later in consultation with my auditor within few days I have changed my pan card from IND TO HUF STATUS and informed the same to the authorities and they said it has updated. After updating the pan card i.e., after the waiting period i have taken delivery. But the present problem is still shows in IND pan card not on HUF pan card. Hence i request you to look in to this issue by making the alteration in the income tax e filing by the SVM Chennai, by changing the pan card from IND to HUF status. ( certainly it is possible)It is compulsory to change immediately so that the TCS amount must be shown in HUF Status pan of mine, then only i can claim the depreciation for my vehicle. This is very very urgent .Still I have not filled my Income tax return. After correction of this only my Income tax return to be filed. Request for speedy action. Despite repeated request they have not even consider my request and till now it is not modified.
Further i am saying this alteration can be done and it is certainly possible by the Income tax TDS efiling person or associates who is doing this.

KIA Motors Chantz Scott Kia of Kingsport, TN

I have a 2021 Kia Sorento that was purchased in January 2021. We were involved in an accident on May 8th 2021 the airbags in the front had deployed and we were told the vehicle would more than likely be totaled out. It was hauled to a salvage place in Knoxville, TN. Then we get a call that State Farm did not total it out and that it was repairable, so we said we wanted it taken to Chantz Scott Kia in Kingsport TN because it was brand new and felt a dealership body shop would be the better place to work on and make our vehicle safe again. It has now been 5 months since Chantz Scott Kia has had it and we still do not have our Sorento back. The first part they were waiting onw as a chip for the airbags, which I understand there was delays everywhere for those. It took 4 months for that part to come in, so in Sept we were told it had came in but when they went to install our passenger airbag they noticed the airbag harness was melted. So my frustration is why was this not found before the first part was ordered from Korea knowing it could take weeks or months to get these parts in. I have now made 6 payments and insurance payments on a brand new car that I cant even drive and is sitting in the body shop lot. My last 3 cars have been Kias and have always loved them, but this may be my last due to the fact that I cannot seem to get any answers except "we have no estimated time as to when the part will be here, so we really dont know when your car will be ready and then when the parts do get here we don't know if everything will be up and working together." In my opinion, my car should have been totaled since the airbags both deployed. I can only hope that my car will be as safe for my family as when I drove it off the lot the 1st time. I am thankful that the person who hit me insurance is covering a rental until my car is done, but I had to fight to get that because they were trying to charge me for a rental.
I would just like some clarification on why it is taking so long and some resolution to my car being fixed. It is very frustrating not having a brand new car that I making payments on and it is depreciating as we speak as well as my extended warranty I am paying for on it. Thias is my 3rd attempt to get an answer to my complaint, reference claim above.

Wrote twice and called once, still no response.

Need to find out where to take my car for a recall, have gone to 2 dealerships and they do not have the parts, When making the appt I let them know why I am going, still they make me wait for almost 3 hours to only let me know that they do not have the parts...waisted my time

Doral Kia wanted to overcharge for a repair asking me to pay $299.00 for a $8.00 part

I mean seriously . What about the damage that you done with me against my payment as well as mental stress ?

KIA Motors Paint peeling

In 2012 I bought a new 2013 Kia Optima. I have babied this vehicle. I always hand wash my car myself and get many compliments on how nice it looks. Well, I did. But all of the sudden the paint started peeling and I mean peeling fast! My hood and both sides of my windshield are horrible looking. It's an embarrassment. In the front of my hood there is so much paint peeling, from a distance it looks like some kind of grey decals that resemble a flame look. On either side of the windshield there is about 8" of paint missing from both sides.
I have taken my car to a Kia dealer every 5, 000 miles to have it's oil changed and when I went in last time I mentioned the paint job to the service manager and he said "it's always the white vehicles we see this on". That right there tells me there is a huge problem. While I was there I saw a white Kia Sorento and another white Optima that was also peeling.
Come on Kia...let's take care of this. This is very frustrating for those of us that really take care of our vehicles to ensure they last a very long time.
Kia, what are you going to do about those of us who have been loyal customers and continue to purchase vehicles from you and continue to take our vehicles to your service department for general maintenance and service needs.

DEAR SIR i have a problem with my kia sportage(KIA SPORTAGE, identification no U5YPC814AEL633622, SER NO C02VB6425A201508061), i have to fill the oil in every month( every 1500km) . i did LAST service from KIA SCALA FLEURUS ON 09/08/2021 they told me that problem is solved but with in a month again oil is finished, i went to service centre today they have again filled the oil and charged me 80 euro, this time they told that this is normal for kia et i have to fill oil every one month(every 1500km).can you please check it out ?

KIA Motors Repairs

To whom it may concern
In January 2021 I took my vehicle for a service, I informed Mr.Danie that my back door on the
passenger side does not open. The issue was resolved but stated that the door is not being used
enough hence the issue.
In May 2021 the drivers door also malfunctioned. The car was taken back to DT Motors for the next
service as well as the door issue and the check engine light.
The vehicle also had a huge delay in shifting and also had a major loss of power.
Mr.Danie informed me that the parts would be claimed under warranty for the door repairs.
According to DT Motors the engine light is due to low gearbox oil. This was filled up by them.
However the Engine light was still on but was told to ignore this as it was a problem with the sensor.
As I went on the road to Windhoek the car once again had a loss of power and shifting which was life
threatening as I was overtaking at the time. I rely on the KIA agent for safety as well as quality which
I was clearly not getting and losing my trust in them.
So my vehicle was taken in again to Midvaal Swakopmund. They were informed of all problem
including engine light, loss of power and the malfunctioning door.
Once again they informed me that gearbox oil was required and also that it will have to be checked
by the PC for fault finding. Engine light was removed by them for the time being.
They informed me that there was no order yet placed and that they will order parts for the door.
The invoice was paid by myself, as I drove out of Swakopmund the engine light came up
immediately.
A second booking was made at Midvaal and no error was found and the vehicle was returned to me
with the engine light still on.
On 3rd of September traveling to Windhoek my car had lots of power losses and gears stuck which
meant I had to stop, switch off the car and then drive again.
Monday I made another booking at Midvaal, which I was being more stern .
They mechanic told me about a "beehive " shaped object that was causing the power loss and gear
shifting. ( catalyst ).
I paid yet another invoice and gave them a reminder about the door parts.
On 7th of September the engine light came on once again. They informed me because more air is
passing through that the vehicle was giving an error.
They switched off the engine light and informed me if it comes on again I should just ignore it.
They also mentioned that I should listen for any faults on the engine. So I clearly lost trust with them
as well.
A booking was made at Behnkes garage ( KIA Agent ) in Walvis bay on the 15th September 2021, new
braking pads were installed and engine light switched off. They had a look at the door but informed
me that it was out of their area of services and expertise.
The engine light came on once again when I left.
They referred me to erongo auto electrical and received a quote for new parts but surely this was
still a warranty issue and should be resolved by one of the agents.
I followed up on the doors parts at midvaal but was later informed that the Manager forgot to log
the claim and that it must be done over again.
Since the door got stuck I had to use the left side door to open the drivers side which resulted in me
leaning in and also breaking off the wiper switch.
I urgently request for swift action so that this issue can be resolved

KIA Motors Menlyn Kia

2 weeks after buying the car still no number provided

Still giving us stories to pay the trade in difference which was the only reason we sold the car we need that money

We had 2 drive back after a week to collect the spare n key n get them to do a full smash and grab as they had skipped one window.

KIA Motors 2013 kia optima Pearl White

The paint on this vehicle is horrible and I actually reached out to Kia to address worst consumer service I've ever received from a company. I drove 45 mins from my house to have the paint inspected and was told it was definitely a manufacturer problem but that I would have to go toa dealership that have a body shop. So I traveled an additional 50miles from there and had an estimate done by the Body shop only to be contacted and told that they would go half on the problem that they caused by choosing cheap paint and that even though the car only had 2 previous owners and was kept garaged that driving it down the road is what caused the paint to peel.. My last car was a 1995 Honda accord in pristine condition with all original paint now imagine that a cars paint lasting over 20 year and one who can't even last for 7 and they don't feel financially responsible for fixing this issue. This was my first Kia the experience has made me want to make it my last which is saddening because otherwise I love the car but i refused to give money to company that feels that I'm disposable or replaceable as a consumer.

KIA Motors 2017 Kia Soul

I purchased this vehicle new in February of 2017. Have maintained according to the owners manual: oil changes and regular routine maintenance. On August 13th, 2021 I headed out on vacation. Traveled about 180 miles, and my engine had catastrophic failure. The engine is blown. After reading several articles on line, I believe that the motor was defective. I have lodged a complaint with Kia and have not heard back from them.

KIA Motors Peeling Paint on 2016 Kia Sorento

2016 Kia Sorento, color maroon/wine. The piece above the back window which extends over the back window, is peeling and color is fading. It is peeling like a bad sunburn. I leased this vehicle for 3 1/2 years and purchased my lease at the end. I love this vehicle but I know this peeling is just getting worse. Eventually, the color will not match the rest of the vehicle. I am assuming this has to be a recall due to the color had an imperfection.

KIA Motors KIA Sportage 2022 SX (2.0L)

I purchased a 2022 Kia Sportage SX in Doha, Qatar a few days ago.

My son's car seat is in the back row. The seat belt in second row doesn't tighten properly.

We've tried engaging the automatic lock method but the belt doesn't remain tight. It loosens up after tightening. Therefore our son can move around in his car seat, instead of staying securely seated.

I took it to KIA Qatar and they said there is nothing wrong with the belt. The belt should remain tight. The only way it should loosen up is by opening the seat belt and then fully retracting the belt. But this is not the case. I request that KIA fix this issue so that the automatic lock in the belt keeps the seat belt tight so that my son and his car seat are securely in place.

All other car brands have good seat belt systems where the belt remains tight. Kia should do the same.

Desired outcome: Fix the seat belt so that it remains tight all the time (only become loose when unbuckling)

KIA Motors Length of time for repair, and still not repaired.

In May we purchased a 2013 KIA Sorento from Advantage Auto in Littleton, MA. This vehicle was sold with the understanding it has a "New" engine supplied and installed by KIA as a warranty issue with the previous owner.

After a few weeks the engine began to stutter and shut off. The vehicle was returned to Advantage. Their mechanics could not diagnose the problem so it was moved to Nashua Kia, Nashua NH. The vehicle has been there for over 3 MONTHS supposedly getting "try this" "try that" advise directly from KIA.

KIA Motors peeling clear coat and paint 0n 2018 kia sportage 31,000 miles

car is 4 months out of warranty roof paint is peeling 31, 000 miles dealer say too bad warranty expired. The car has had no body damage. keep clean. There is no reason the paint on a three year old car should be peeling. It is apparent from researching the web that Kia has problems with the quality of its paint. We took the Car to Mark Kia on October 1, 2021 they took photos. said because the car was four months out of warranty even though it only had 31, 000 miles they would not cover the paint defect

KIA Motors Inferior paint

I am the proud owner of a 2013 KIa Soul. Unfortunately, the paint has been bubbling and peeling over the last couple of years. I keep the car out of the weather and was surprised to see this happening. I did take it into the Renton KIA dealership, they agreed it looked as if the paint was defective and suggested I contact customer service. I have since seen several grey KIA Souls (2013) with the same paint issue. I was hoping to get it painted, as I would like to keep the car. عندي سيارة كيا لوتزي 2006عندي مشكلة بعداد السرعة حيث ان ساعة الحرارة والبنزين لا تظهر ابدا وعندما بحثت عن لشراء عداد جديد نصحوني بان المشكلة بجميع عدادات السيارات من هذا النوع وانا الان اسوق سيارتي يدون معلومات السرعة والحرارة
ارجو المساعدة بهذا الوضع كوني اشتريت اكثر من عداد ولم احل المشكلة

KIA Motors Customer service

Very unprofessional. My vehicle was involved in a total loss back in 03/20/21. Kia motors accepted the check from my insurance company but has since then been billing me and refuses to send over the documentation to the Gap insurer that has been requesting the documents since 05/2021. Supervisors are very rude and hangs up on customers because they aren't knowledge nor trained to handle customer service calls or request. I think the BBB needs to investigate this company to see why the are doing all of this shady business and business transactions.

Desired outcome: Paperwork processed and sent to gap insurer so that claim can be paid and closed.

KIA Motors 2011 Kia Forte engine

At about 90k miles, my daughters newly-acquired Kia Forte started making a grinding sound when accelerating. Mechanic and dealership have diagnosed the problem as an engine issue that requires a completely new engine--cost over $5K. Mechanic noted that the engine in my Kia is the same engine recalled in the NHTSA Recall No. 20V-750, manufacturer recall SC200. If Kia covered an engine replacement for those models with the same engine, should not this engine also be covered by KIA?

I believe Kia should stand by the quality of their vehicles and vehicle parts--especially an engine up to 100, 000 miles. See 4 pages of similar engine recalls and recent evaluation from Kia dealership.
