car complaint
i bought a Kia picanto 2017 in January 2019, after 6months of driving the car it started giving me serious problems, up to date I still need to kick start my car if I let it stand for too long or I need to find someone to jump start my car. I took my car for a service in July 2019 they advised that the battery is healthy however the is a part of the battery that is missing which is creating the problem with my car. I have now have to wait 18 to 20 working days for this part to be delivered, my main question is why sell me a car that Kia knew would give me this problem .
chipping paint
I purchased a new 2012 KIA Soul in May 2012 and shortly after purchase the KIA name plate on the back hatch door began peeling. I've spent the last few years repairing the paint since the cost of a new KIA name plate was out of my budget.
Now I just discovered that the paint is also chipping by the back driver's side light. This is not an area that gets any stress placed on it as a door might so I have to conclude that it's a failing of the original paint. This should not be happening on a vehicle that is 7 years old.
Please advise how KIA can repair these issues. Otherwise the car is wonderful and am happy to have purchased it.

2019 kia optima turbo
We purchased a Kia Optima Turbo and it has 8000. miles on it .We took a trip for Oklahoma City, OK to Houston, Texas coming back Half way the air stopped blowing out the vents. we adjusted the temp, read your book on the car and no help.We opened the windows and shut off the air. Later we stopped to get a coke and when we started off I turned on the air and it worked blowing out the vents cold air and later it sopped blowing again. WE repeated the action until we got home. NOT HAPPY.
I took it to the Dealer and told them exactly what happened and of corse when i took it in the AC was working fine so they drove it on the turnpike and said it wouldnt repeat the fault.There answer was to not use to AUTO Mode because it would shut off the compresser. Which I know it does but than I would tunn down the Temp and it should come on again it was late and I just wanted to go home.
I would like to know where to take the car to get it fixed and not get Dumb answers.
Please advise or tell me how to get another car like it because this is a lemon.
2013 kia optima - engine

I purchased my 2013 Kia Optima September 2013, the first complaint I have is the gas mileage was never accurate when it was sold. Jim had complained many times to our local Kia in Manteca. The air conditioner was another complaint that doesn't work properly. We were told that's how 2013 Kia Optima's operate.
May 12th Mothers day my car completely shut down on the freeway with my children in the vehicle after church. We were all lucky we didn't cause an accident. It turns out I needed a brand new engine…the work was completed by the local Kia dealership in Manteca approximately 1 ½ weeks later.
When I picked up my vehicle I was told I had a brand new vehicle and that they had replaced the starter and many other items in car….no detailed list was given.
My vehicle is now getting better gas mileage however the air still works the same. I called Kia in town to let them know I had a screen on backup camera tell me I have a low battery. The first person said they never heard of it. When I went into Kia for a follow up to engine replacement I was told by another staff member that he owns a 2011 Kia Optima and the same thing happens. There was no real reason why it comes up and I have replaced battery in vehicle 3 times since I've owned the vehicle.
I understand batteries are not covered due to it being maintenance but I also have never purchased a brand new car with so many battery replacements.
I also advised Kia my vehicle accelerates when I first start it and was told that's normal when the car is not warm…however even when I've driven it and parked for a while it does the same thing.
I'm writing to let you know that all the excuses Kia employees make are ridiculous and I'm not happy with the car since it was purchased.
I purchased another Kia May of 2018, 2018 Kia Soul for my daughter and so far this car has been good to us, gas mileage normal as indicated and too new for any real problems other than tires deflate and have to take the vehicle in quite frequently to have air put in them. I've called dealership on that as well and was told noting they can do.
I don't feel anyone should feel unsafe driving a vehicle that was purchased brand new for $31000 plus and then engine go out and with no warning shut down in a matter of seconds. The dealership for some reason doesn't provide a copy of sales contract since I've misplaced my copy.
I've received numerous letters from law firms stating I can get all my money back and would rather not pay them and settle with Kia direct.
Please contact me to discuss this matter. If a call or letter is not received I will contact an attorney and have them settle this for me.

I would like to complain about Kia dealer inside the UAE I bought a Kia Sportage model 2018 and after a year and a half almost of use I wanted to change the battery I went to Kia UAE and after changing the battery I found that the original battery 60 amp was replaced by 55 amp When I asked that the battery should be the same as the original they said that this is the only available take it or leave it and did not find a solution with them until now, and still my car in the warranty until 2022, I do like to ask if the dealer can't sell the original parts how we can trust Kia,

I have bought a brand new car in 2019 from your dealer FMS which is located 100 Avenue Kifisias str, Peristeri Athens.
The car with plate number IYH 1655 first register certificate was in 02/01/19 a KIA PICANTO JA F5P11 M51BZ 1, white color is now in one of KIA car service department .
In the afternoon on the 27th of July 2019 as I was in the car with my baby 3, 5 years old and my friend on the high way of Attiki Odos towards the airport the car suddenly started to smoke a lot from the evaporation, a thick white smoke that was so much that the cars behind where hidden from the smoke. Then after a while the glass at the back of the car was full of drops thick drops as it was raining but the sky was clear. Using the back window wipers we saw that the drops where yellow thick oil !After a minute or so smoke stared coming out from in front of the car from the car hood. We were terrified as we where in the high way with the kid inside as we thought that the car will be on fire!
Immediately we stopped the car which was also very dangerous in the high speed road and I took the baby out of the car putting her in the inner part of the roadside bar as of course there was no proper area to stop as we where so terrified that the car would be on fire if we waited to find a proper stopping area in the high way. The kid was crying climbing on top of me and wouldn't let go and we where shaking .
This car is brand new ! For your information when I bought the car I did not even go in person to see it I bought a car value 10.590.000€ just looking a photo an specification by internet because I had trust in the safety of KIA engineering as I wanted a safe car for me and my baby .
I first payed for the car and then after one month I saw what I bought!
Today and every day since the incident I am paying a taxi to go to my work, to the supermarket, to take the baby to the doctor !. Unfortunately I have lost my time talking to FMS and there is no such option for them to give me a car which make me sad and angry as they represent KIA.The service department informed me the engine needs to be fixed as the problem that occurred is from the factory it is a manufacturing problem!This car is only SEVEN MONTHS OLD it has only 7000km run and KIA ATHENS tells me that the car can not be replaced with a new one!I have attach photos of the incident and I am asking KIA TO REPLACE MY A CAR IMMEDIATELY WITH A NEW ONE and not to fix the one I have because the mechanic problem that happened was from manufacturing and it put our life's in danger.

service refused while car is under warranty
Dear Sirs,
I have owned a Kia Carens model 2016 in Kuwait. The car is running smoothly for almost 3 years now without any issue. I'm doing all regular services every 5, 000 Km since I first received the car as brand new at the authorized local service agent M/s National Agencies Group for Gen. trading and contracting Co. (AlMutawa) in Kuwait.
While we are trusting KIA cars for many years in terms of performance, reliability, after sales service and many more, I have experienced refusal for service while car is under warranty.
Currently, the car is only 40, 000 Km and less than 5 years so it has to be under warranty. Specially, when I do all services at authorized service agent of Kia. One of the side mirrors suddenly is not folding automatically (It can't be open / close automatically) and As I understand it should by under warranty as it is not mentioned any where that it is excluded from warranty like Battery or tires for example. It should be noted that Miror unit is in a very good condition and no accident or damage is affecting it.
Service agent refused to repair / replace the mirror stating that it is customer problem and not manufacturing defect!
This is very disappointing while we put all the trust in Kia and Kia didn't trust its customers. There is no way that mirror could be damaged internally without sever damage externally. That's common sense. However, Respected Service agent refused at the end the repair / change which is really non sense.

moto/ engine failure on a 2016 kia rio

My name is Ivry Thomas and I am a proud owner of a 2016 KIA RIO. Last Tuesday July 16th, I was on my way to work and my motor/engine gave out on me. I had my vehicle towed to an authorize Kia dealership in Avenel, NJ. (Sansone Kia) My vehicle is still under Powertrain/Drivetrain Warranty. I have been coming out of pocket for a rental for the past week, in which is absolutely absurd when I should be covered under Kia because I am legally still under warranty. I even emailed the Service Manger my receipts for the Oil changes and everything. Yet I am still getting the run around from the service center clerk that the manager is submitting images about the engine and doesn't have an answer.(When he verbally stated that they would have an answer by Mon/Tuesday of this week). This is a complete inconvenience to me and rather upsetting because I don't have money to just come out of pocket for a rental when I don't even have a status on my current vehicle.

I have just bought my second Kia in Mexico and I am customer since 2016 but unfortunately I have witnessed a deterioration in the service. It is almost impossible for me to take my car to Kia Metepec for they are always booked for two to three months. So I drive 40 miles to Mexico City for my service but now I have the same issues in Kia Interlomas. Always full and nobody answers the phone.
Like the brand but post sales service is really below my expectations.

On June 11, 2019 our motor seized up and we called Kia Warranty, they sent someone out to tow our car to the Dodge City Kia Dealership. The tow truck driver backed up into my car. I called the 800-333-4542 and reported it. Kia in Dodge, called and said our car was ready, we went and picked up our car, it has leaked huge amounts of oil since then. I have again call and reported it and also asked when someone was going to look at the damage from the tow truck. Here we are July 29, and my car is not fixed, my husband and I work full time jobs and have two children. This has burden us financially. I will start from the beginning.I traded my Sedona, because they said they wanted it, for a 2013 Sportage in Nov.2014. the first time I brought it in for service my rims had a lock nut on them but I didn't get the tool when I got the car.I asked if they would give me the tool, should have come with the car.They wanted too charge me $120, I said no thanks.I continued too get my Kia serviced regularly, oil change, tire rotation, etc until Feb2018 when I got breaks all around, 4 tires, 4 wheel alignment and oil change, $2000 worth I also asked for the lug nut tool again, figured I spent enough, he said ok.Fast forward to May 2019, and I still did not get my lug nut tool. I asked Jessica Preston if ball joints were covered in my warranty, she said they were so I made an appointment too bring it in.When I brought it in Mike told me the warranty had expired and proceeded to charge me $135 for diagnostics.I'm senior citizen on a pension didn't even try too help me, he said pay or no car.I had too borrow money, , took quite a while, I had my daughter and great grand daughter with me.My question is why should I pay for a Kia employee mistake because if she had given me the right info I wouldn't have been there.I tried to get the owners e-mail but nobody would give it too me.I think I'm entitled to a complete refund.Thankyou

I faced a problem with my kia cerato 2014
AC Problem
Center Mirror is not fixed
After one week I'v received call saying that mirror actuator assy is broken on both sides
which was not logic to me, how come it will happen with both side suddenly
with no signs for breaking or anything.
I have submitted my objection to Kia kuwait service manager, and i have asked him to explain how it can happen with no clear reason, he did't give any answer or even have a look on the car to understand my issue, Then i submited a complaint to kia call center and they called me one time and nothing else.

Recently we had an unpleasant incident regarding how Kia Romania was involved in resolving the next complaint..
About two weeks ago after a holiday trip to Greece, the car has broken down (I mention that it has only 10000 Km - being in the warranty).
The support given to help me in contact with the service in Greece is 0.
At this time, the car is in an authorized service in Greece, but it does not receive any response to the repair status, if it is repaired and it lasts…
This defect at just 10000 km has produced and produced additional costs that Kia does not assume nor supports in bringing the car to operating parameters…
I want to express my disappointment, especially because I am at the second Kia, the first one working impeccably …
I want to know if you can help me in recovering the car in the first place in the normal operating condition and the costs resulting from this incident?

inspection / damaged parts
To who it concerns,
On Monday 22.07 my car was booked in for inspection / damage
and R 828.00 was paid.
A Quotation of R 38 914.70 was received and I asked if I can check these parts
with the mechanic before making any payments.
The service manager denied my request to see the damaged parts
which concerns me, which I am very frustrated about.
I urgently need to get parts replaced and would like for assistance to check all
these damaged parts quoted on before purchasing, please can an arrangement be made?

I had a problem in (The internal serpentine for air conditioning) السربنتينه الداخليه للتكيف reported by engineers in Roxy (EIT )Service branch and they want to change this part which is covered according to warranty
And they made a request from end of may, first of June to import this part and till now not delivered yet and when I asked they said that the part imported not compatible to your car and said to me wait 2 weeks and then another 3 weeks and I wait till now dreaming that they will repair the AC this year

First time, end of June they said to me the part imported not compatible and
Second time today the part is not mine
What a hell is that treatment from a reputable company like KIA
It Seems that some of employees will give the imported part to there relatives or friends
I need your investigations
Specially the temprature exceed 40 in Egypt now, please i need an action with such a delay
It is too much to stay nearly 2 months till AC repaired
