I bought my car to auto world Kia in east meadow ny on December 28 because my door sensor was broken. And also needed service. Waited all day for them to tell me they didn't get to it and they didn't have loaner. Had to get ride home. Finally ready next day and service person said they would give me some discounts for my trouble.
Went on toad trip and sensor came back on. Called service back and guy had an attitude like well we didn't charge you to fix it. But they didn't fix it. Couldn't take car till following week and as a result sensor stayed on and battery died. A friend of mine ended up fixing.
I am disgusted with the terrible service and and bad attitude. They also told me they fixed my wiper fluid pump free of charge and it doesn't work either.
As I am writing this I am waiting for triple AAA because my car battery is dead probably due to light being on combined with cold. I was considering getting another Kia in the spring but this has deterred me.
2017 kia optima
I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima back in May 2017 & have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. Was having issues with the lights on the dashboard dimming in & out & was notified there was a recall on the voltage regulator. Took it in for repair & then the alternator went out! I'm still having issues with the brake lights because the wiring harness needs to be replaced all I want is a dependable car I can drive without worrying if it's going to break down on me. I'll tell one thing is for sure if something happens to my kids while they are in the vehicle because of an electrical issue you will have a lawsuit in your hands! I'll be sure to spread the word that Kia is definitely not the car you want to buy!

I have purchased 5 vehicles from Ray Brandt dealerships in Louisiana. I was pleased up to now. I had a 2016 Kia Soul which I loved but couldn't get refinanced, but was able to go thru my bank and get a new 2017 Kia Soul financed. This would have been great except for the horrible experience with the Ray Brandt Kia dealership finance manager, BLAIR! I was told buy the Sales Mgr, Taylor Naquin, during negotiations, that Ray Brandt would be paying my 1st payment. Again, great! When I got to the finance office with BLAIR, I was trying to be reassured my options and he was VERY rude, and gave snippy, short answers, speaking down to me like I was an [censor]. I asked if the notation for the 1st payment was included, and he said "DO YOU WANT me to call the manager in here?" in an angry tone. I said no, I just wanted to be sure it was there.
The deal was finished and I left.
The payment was due on December 4th and when I checked with my bank, it had not been paid as of the 7th. I went back to Ray Brandt to speak with BLAIR regarding the payment. He said there must have been some confusion and asked me to make the payment myself. I was shocked by this and told him no, that was not the deal. He said well if I wanted the payment to be more late I could just wait until they found out what happened. I asked him to find out and get the payment made immediately. He said I had 2 choices, make the payment myself or wait until they figured it out. I said that I didn't think he wanted me to get an attorney involved. At that, he threw the paper he had in his hand at me and said, "since you mentioned an attorney I'm through".
I walked over to the service desk to the Sales Manager, Mr. Naquin. He listened to the explanation and went to find out what was going on. I also spoke with Fred Frosch, who was very helpful and respectful. These two gentlemen found out that the accounting department had it noted as to be done, but it hadn't been sent. They were going to get the check to me that afternoon. As it was, that was not possible, but I did get it the next day. As long as I had information and was being helped, it wasn't so scary, but Blair is just not good with people.
I will not be back to a Ray Brandt dealership, nor recommend it to anyone, until BLAIR is removed from their payroll. Everything was run very smoothly when Aaron Stanley was with them, but not so now. I'm sorry to see this happening.

My car was towed into the fred anderson dealership in nov they came back and said it was the hybrid system and relay which would cost 1, 300 to repair the car is not yet 3 years old but it no longer in warranty. Purchased a new 2017 Cadenza from Union County KIA in Monroe, NC. With car purchase we also purchased the Multi-Shield protectant and was to be applied outside and inside of the vehicle the following week. Per our appointment we returned the vehicle to the dealership and waited for them to apply the Multi-Shield. Our salesman came to the waiting room and told us the vehicle was ready. Followed him outside and as we were walking around the car we noticed a significant chip in the paint at the right front fender. Our salesman got the tech. that applied the sealant and he stated that " it was like that when he got the car".
Our salesman spoke with his manager and informed us that they would come to our house and pick up the vehicle the following friday and have the fender repainted and return it to us when it was complete. I made contact via telephone on Monday and Thursday to verify that they were coming on the following Friday, THEY DID NOT SHOW OR CALL! I called the following Saturday to ask why they did not show and why they did not reach out to me for some type of explanation. The sales manager, Ed got on the phone and appolagized for the inconvenience and rescheduled for the following Thursday to pick up the vehicle. Again they DID NOT SHOW and NO CALL!
As for the Multi-Shield: I strongly believe that it was NOT applied properly as there was dirt and road debris still on the bottom of the vehicle. The interior was not done properly either. You could see where the tech. had wiped and not wiped. There was distinct shiny to dull/dry marks on the dash and the back seat was not cleaned as there were grains of sand still on the seat. The backs of the driver and passenger seat was cleaned or protectant applied.

Hello, me & my wife bought a 2011 Kia Soul after buying a 2009 Dodge caravan that had major problems, found out we was over charge. Car was, 7, 500, then 11, 000, then after 23, 000, after 22.99 percent. That's not right, then found out thid car been in 3 accidents, and im an above the knee amputee so i need to put my wheelchair and other stuff in the back but tbe back seats dont go down its broke, this is the 2nd car from here, and my and my wife are disable and we need a car badly, and wish to go to another Kia dealership in the area, as soon as we took it home they took it off the net but i have a copy of the original car, and it upset me bad that we been con about it. Good Afternoon, my name is Francine and I live in orlando Fl. This morning I dropped off my car for services and my car was damaged. The dealership claimed that it was another driver that hit my car and left the scene. They provided a license plate number that was unable to be verified by Highway patrol. When I got there no manager came to tak to me and advoided me. I wanted for 4 hours for the police officer. Once the officer got there we got different stories at the what happened. Basically getting the run around. I believe they caused the damages to my car. They can't provide a video of the parking lot. It just all sounds fishy to me. Why should I have to pay for damages that happen while my car was in their property. Need advice!
If you have insurance of your own, report it to your insurance company and let them deal with it. If Kia is responsible for the repairs then your insurance company will take care of the legal matters for you. This is why you have insurance, and I guarantee you, your insurance company does not want to have to pay for damage somebody else did, they will get to the bottom of it and it shouldn't cost you anything.

My cousin in Poland purchased NEW Kia Rio in Poland for her driving school, the car was modified by Kia, warranty should cover all the mechanical problems but it seems that is not the case.The car started having problems with reverse gear at 3000 km, my cousin went to the dealer with it and she was told by the Kia Service, I quote:"Those cars are like that, that's how they run and there is nothing they can do unless you want to buy new gear box".
Now the car has 33 000 km on it, still under the warranty and the problem got worse, reverse gear doesn't go in unless you release clutch and press it again or if you put the car in another gear and than use reverse again plus now the first gear has a hard time engaging.She is using that car to teach people to drive because she was told by the dealer that the car is good to drive and there is nothing to worry about.there are 3-4 people at any given time learning to drive at same time in the city and I am worried that is dangerous thing to do but what you gonna do if she has no other choice and was told by the dealer that the car is in good condition and safe to drive.If the car is involved in accident Kia will have several lawsuits to deal with including one from me since I was in Poland to visit her and went to talk to a dealer and I was told same thing, "those cars are like that", There would be most likely no problem fixing that problem in USA since I know few owners of KIA there and they are happy with the cars and the service.

I currently lease a sportage and optima. We recently had a young lady slide into the back bumper of our optima. The people that his us obviously have no insurance so I am on the hook for the potential damage and substantial deductible if needed.in my quest for a simple opinion on whether there was perceived, visible damage, I did the followed the following trail. I tried for 2 1/2 hours to get through to the local dealer and was sent to service who sent me to finance who sent me to kia who sent me to a bank who said to go on the website and look at examples of acceptable turn-in damage. Bottom line, having purchased a kia from a local dealer in fargo nd, I needed local help but instead ended up on a 2 1/2 hour (On hold) rabbit trail.

KIA Motors Egypt is the worst service which I experienced.
I've been purchased my KIA Cerato car in July of 2017, only when I reached the 3, 000 KM and then the 2 rear breaks are faulty, and have big noise everyday bothering me. I went to EIT service they told me that they will replace them for me for free, as it is under warranty, and the parts will arrive after 3 weeks. after 3 weeks passed, when I contacted them, they said the parts still not arrived, this last for more than 2 months.
Now it is almost 3 months, but problem is still the same, they even don't answer my phone call.

On 04/24/2017 I was a victim of predatory sales tactics by the Orange Kia dealership. After complaining to KIA corporate offices, I was told to go back to the dealer as they would make sure to have the owner to ratify his wrong doing. Long story short I was talked into purchasing a not yet full term of my lease at the time with a very high buy out and interest rate. In order to make up for the wrong doing, the car dealer in reference then sold a brand new car with a rather deep discount to off set the pay off for having to pay off the same car twice within a time frame of only 2 weeks. Well it seems that the financing manager either short paid off the creditor when making the "trade off" deal with me or simply sent the wrong records for the pay off amount, either way, the account kept showing to still be under my responsibility although it was no longer the case as I had a new financed amount to pay for which did already include the original pay off amount. My credit was damaged and I reported the mistakes to KIA MOTORS FINANCE who after investigating my case recognized the mistake and reported the account to being closed but failed to report that it was never late. I have since then complaint to the ORANGE KIA DEALER who says all managers involved in the transaction no longer work for their dealer, I made several calls to KIA MOTORS FINANCE and nobody seems to care to follow up on my requests and mean while my credit remains damaged causing me financial losses and aggravations. I am exhausting my sources and just need the situation to be ratify.

My wife needed a different car for her work, so we traded our old car for a Kia Soul in July of 2017. She seemed happy with the car, but we kept getting these mailings from the dealer to come in to see if you won money or a car. Well she went in on November 16th to see what she won and they tried to get her to upgrade her purchase of a new 2017 Soul to a 2018. So she test drove it and then when they returned to the dealer they pressured her to purchase the new upgraded car, when we had a new 2017 Kia Soul with less than 2000 miles on it. So she called me, her husband, and I said we didn't want another car and they got upset and we left.
So today we get a letter in the mail from University Kia that says they filed an adverse action with a consumer credit transaction. Then the form says we have to check with various credit providers to see if our credit was affected in an adverse way. What? All we did was say we didn't want another car and now we have to put up with this stuff? What kind of business are they running? I wouldn't go back to that dealer if my life depended on it. They are high pressure and from this notice we got today, dishonest. We signed nothing, so why would our credit be affected in any way? This will indeed be subject to a legal look next week, as this business isn't in it for any reason but to pressure a sale at any cost. Our first salesman was somewhat that way, but we were able to settle and purchase our 2017 Kia Soul.
This dealer needs a reality check from headquarters, or is this how all Kia dealers are coached to deal with their customers?
2012 kia forte ex with the works
Good Morning,
I am very disappointed in my purchase of this vehicle. This by the way was the First new vehicle I ever purchased in my life and I decided to try out the KIA, I bought the Forte fully loaded heated leather seats, power windows, remote start, basically the works and spent around 20, 000 dollars at the time of purchase, in March of 2013, the car had around 30 miles on it, Wahoo my first new car. Well the car performed fairly well and for the first 4 years I was fairly happy, the car could done better in the snow, and the low profile tires were expensive to maintain and it went through them quickly. That stuff is all acceptable to me due to the nature of the beast and the low profile of the vehicle. However at 101, 00 mile the starter and alternator went out, okay 100, 000 miles I guess that is even acceptable. Then at 120, 00 Miles the Engine blew, Yes blew unfix able. S0 now I am being asked to spend 3200 dollars to put a used engine with 25000 miles on it. Well needless to say I am no longer in the "this is acceptable mode". I have bought multiple used vehicles in my time, with out knowing how the vehicle was treated/maintained prior, with similar or more miles that on the KIA when the engine blew and gotten 2 or 3 years out of them before they started having issues that the KIA was. I knew how the KIA was treated mostly Highway miles and maintenance done as scheduled and the damn thing died. Needles to say I still owe 2000 on the vehicle and am very unhappy with your product.
What you going to do for this very disgruntled KIA user.

Like i said 2 weeks ago we purchased a 08 honda odyssey from kia on 10/14/17 and we have been waiting for our tags to come in well our temp tags expired 11/28/17, so i called kia and spoke to their title clerk her name is Wendy and she told me that someone would call us on 11/28/17 but no one called so my wife is now driving on expired tags What can we do?
