Picnic Potato Salad
The potatoes in the salad are hard. This has been going on for some time now. It has ruined many barbecues and picnics. I have been complaining for a long time now with no success. It is time for you to fix the quality issues with the company that is making your potato salad. Thanks much!
Desired outcome: Quality potato salad like Piggly Wiggly.
The status of your Richmond MI store
What is going on at your Richmond MI store? I was there on Saturday morning 7-9 at approximately 10:30 am and again today 7-12. Both times the produce department was almost bare of any produce. Either day had celery, fresh bagged salad mix. Produce that was left was mainly rotten. No bananas at all on Saturday. No watermelon today and only a few other melons. I asked a worker and he said they didn't get a truck Friday and also nobody works the night shift in that department. The Deli was a complete mess both days. The already cut deli meat and cheese was bare so were the salads. Some almost all the way gone still sitting in the counter. A sign today said they will be closing at four. The meat department was lacking selection. Most of the other isles in the same poor condition. If you want customers to keep shopping at your Richmond store, you should pay attention to what is going on there. My family spends well over a thousand dollars a month at your store. I'm not going to continue to make trips there only to find there isn't anything available. By the way, your produce department allows half spoiled food to be left for purchase on a regular basis.
Desired outcome: Have corporate management determine the problems within that store and rectify them!
Payment not received
We have tickets open from Kroger in Lavante since last year that have not been worked. We have opened tickets with Supplier hub and nothing back. We need this resolved and need a contact to work with us on this to bring account current.
Desired outcome: Contact to work with us on getting payment as well as ensure that check is cut and account is brought current. I can be reached at [protected] Brenda in Accounting
Customer service by employee signing up customers for kroger credit card
Hi you all at Krogers,
I would like to make a complaint about a particular employee who has no skills and is very uneducated and is very rude. And the complaint is the following: Between 5:42 PM and 6:30 PM, a Black American woman who was assigned the job to help customers open Kroger lines of credit peer pressured me to open up a line of credit. Then she started to ask me questions about my income and source of income. Next, I told her that my parents provide me with a source of income because I am currently unemployed.
Then I told her that I was able to open a line of credit many years ago when I was still an employee. She acted like I opened up a line of credit many years in an illegal manner. I didn't have to attempt to open up a line of credit with Kroger's credit card through this uneducated, unskilled, rude Black American woman who you all assigned to be in the front, left portion of Krogers at 4753 Atlanta Hwy, Loganville, GA 30052. After thinking it through, I no longer want to open up a line of credit with Krogers since I don't make enough money every year now to actually be eligible to open a line of credit with Krogers and because of that Black American woman's disrespectful, cheap behavior. Can you all tell that Black American woman who is trying to help you all get your customers to open up line of credits not to subject the customers to disrespect and double standard behavior.
I think you all need to have this Black American woman who I described in the comments I sent you to be sent to a different Krogers or have her dismissed before she scares away some and/or more than some of your customers. Had it been a different customer, this Black woman who might be a Black Identity Extremist would have been subject to racial slurs and profanity and violence. I am begging you all not to reveal my email address to this disrespectful Black American woman. I too would like to remind you that I spent 149.64+14.33 = 163.97 yesterday. I hope you all will give me a little bit of justice by investigating this employee and having a long talk with her and overlook the fact that she is a woman and a Black American. Can you all forward this message to the corporate office that normally reads complaints, please? Thank you very much for taking the time to read my comments.
Can you all make sure that the Black woman who subjected me to strange, disrespectful behavior who works as an employee of Krogers at 4753 Atlanta Hwy, Loganville, GA 30052 that is currently signing up customers to open lines of credit with Krogers does not look at the hand held device when the customers are punching in their social security numbers, please? I think you all should have this employee replaced with someone else who is more mature and polite. I fear that the employee that I am talking about in the previous email that I sent you all may, or might, use someone else's social security information to open up lines of credit to commit a word that begins with f. I am begging you all to have her replaced with some else and/or sent to a different Krogers before she causes you all to lose money and customers. Can you all forward this message to the corporate office that normally reads complaints, please? You all need to tell that Black woman who acts like a man to mind her own business and leave complete strangers along before she does it to the wrong individual and ends up on the news. Of course, it won't be me doing that anytime soon. Thank you very much!
Desired outcome: The employee that helps the customers sign up for Kroger credit cards and lines of credit needs to be dismissed and/or sent to a different Krogers.
To be exact, I spent $114.16 ($99.83 + $14.33 = $114.16) on July 6, 2022.
Pickup order
I hate this kroger worst! It's seems like for months the isles are always crowded with people and staff stockers but never anything on the shelves out of everything can barely get out with the recipe materials for 1 meal i'm so serious. I am disabled so I cant travel. And I have had to call every week since june 9th concerning my issue I have to deal with this for about a full month now I am on extremly low income poverty level and I have not been able to buy groceries since june 9th when over half of my order was missing and im waiting on that money to get food iam bareley just surving. I cant belive this is happening ive been getting help from a church but im disabled and cant drive cant really travel at all I have to sit and watch and wait everyday
And wait for them to correct there error so I can finally go get some groceries.
Desired outcome: The entire order amount refunded and to bring attention to this situation.
private selection mocha brownie batter cookies
What a disappointing product. I have always considered Private Selection products to be a cut above the regular Kroger store brands. I purchased these cookies because I had a $1.00 off coupon on any 6 oz. or more cookies. This was the only product that fit our taste and your requirement. When we opened the box, at home, we discovered six small, 2" diameter. The soft baked cookies crumbled as we scraped them from the tops and bottoms of the plastic trays that were meant to separate the cookies. The cookies were dry and the overall taste poor. I am a coffee drinker and a big mocha fan. The cookies had the overwhelming taste of coffee that even overpowered the chocolate flavor. I also took note of the picture of the cookies on the box. The measurement of the pictured cookies was 2 3/4". Also noted was the fact that there were 3 chips on cookie pictured on the box and one or no chips on the actual cookies.
I purchased these cookies at the Corbin, KY Kroger store. The expiration is 09/06/2022. By the way, your privateselection.com website doesn't work.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund on the cost of the cookies including either a replacement of the coupon or a credit of its value. The original retail price of the cookies is $3.49.
Pharmacy
I called the pharmacy because the automated system told me my prescription would be ready on June 28 and it is July 2. I assumed my prescriptions were being automatically filled and just wanted to know if they were ready. The first time I called a woman with a very cheery voice answer and asked how she could help. I gave my name and started to tell her and we were disconnected. I called back and the same girl answered. I told her what I needed and she repeated the question asking me what I needed. I stated it again and she asked me again what I needed. I raised my voice and asked if she could hear me. This is when it went south. She told me I didn’t need to yell and I said I’m not. She continued to tell there was no reason to be rude and asked my name. I gave it to her and she continued to speak on my rudenesses. I told her I simply wanted to get info on my prescriptions and I would like her name as well. She did provide the information telling me my prescriptions would be ready today. I asked her which ones and she told me. I thanked her and asked her name. She said “Why, it won’t do any good anyway”. I said I would like her name and she hung up. I have been doing business with this pharmacy for over 20 years and usually receive excellent service. If she had given her name I most likely would have decided to do nothing as everyone is entitled to a bad day. It was her mean attitude and her hanging up that is my true complaint. I’m sorry if she was having a bad day. That is not an excuse to be rude. I know the pharmacy is over worked. Please fix your automated system as had it not given me the wrong date, I would not have called and added to this women’s bad day.
Desired outcome: Fix the automated system to give a true date. I would suggest the system gives a realistic date given the over taxing if your employees.
Fuel pump
On [protected] I git gas on pump #7 at 1:08 Pm. I was watching the pump to see how many gallons I was getting and the cost. When a lady walked by and said "it's full", I looked and saw gas was all over the pavement, running between the pumps toward her car. The stupid thing did not cut off when it was full. I lost at least 2 gallons of gas which I had to pay for.
This is the second time this has happened to me. I didn't tell the station attendant this time but the other time I did. All he had to say was we check the pumps to be sure they're working properly. That didn't help me at all. With the cost of gas I can't afford to pay for gas that overflowed onto the pavement.
Desired outcome: I feel like I should be refunded for two gallons of gas. Either by a credit on my Kroger card or a check. I'd appreciate it if someone would reply.
Historic patriotic symbols
Perhaps you could explain to me why you would pull products showing American patriotic symbols from your shelves because a liberal politician complained. You do realize that the vast majority of your customers love our country and the historic symbols. You might want to rethink caving into people who basically hate our country and our symbols. If they don’t like them, they don’t have to buy them or look at them. If I found something in your store that offended me, would you pull it off your shelf? You should be politically neutral.
Desired outcome: Grow a spine and put the items back on the shelves
You and your ilk buckle to the left so easily. It’s embarrassing and totally idiotic for your company to pull products that have AMERICAN patriotic symbols on them, and why? You are doing a disservice to your customers, and I for one won’t set foot in your store again. Show me a store that PROUDLY displays their patriotism and that’s the store where I’ll spend my hard earned AMERICAN dollars. Just to remind you, your stores are in the United States of America 🇺🇸
That you stopped selling pro usa items
We have been shopping at kroger for many many years and have a very large family and we spend a lot of money there. Our family will no longer shop at kroger. We have many choices and always shopped at kroger but never again. It is very sad that americans have to bow down to a very small group of people that hate america. I hope you reconcider your way of doing business. God bless us all.
Pharmacy in Union KY
Date: 6/22/2022
Time: 1:00 PM approximately
Went in the the Union Krogers to have a prescription filled for my son after dental surgery. Two prescriptions one was an antibiotic and one was a schedule 2 med (pain pill). These were electronically sent from the dental surgeon’s office. I was refused service due the fact I did not have my sons social security card, although I did bring his drivers license. I was refused service. Returned home and picked up my sons social security card and left his drivers license as it was not needed. Drove back to the pharmacy and provided the social security card. I was refused service AGAIN as I did not have his drivers license. I explained that the previous pharmacy technician I spoke to 30 minutes ago (who was now at the drive up window) told me I did not need it, only he social security card. Went home, got the other form of ID. However I also stopped to research the law in KY regarding this and found the following:
902 Ky. Admin. Regs. 55:110 states the following:
Section 5. Patient Identification Number. (1) A patient or the person obtaining the controlled substance on behalf of the patient shall disclose to the dispenser the patient’s Social Security number for purposes of the dispenser’s mandatory reporting to KASPER.
(2) If a patient is an adult who does not have a Social Security number, the patient’s driver’s license number shall be disclosed.
(3) If a patient is an adult who has not been assigned a Social Security number or a driver’s license number, the number [protected] shall be used in the Social Security field.
(4) If a patient is a child who does not have a Social Security number or a driver’s license number, the number “[protected]” shall be used in the Social Security field. (5) If a patient is an animal, the number “[protected]” shall be used in the Social Security number field.”
In short, what I was told by you pharmacy staff at the Union location was not true. Being that I was unable to provide his social security number his state issued license should have been used under state law.
Perhaps Krogers has some COMPANY policy regarding what is required however they misrepresented STATE law. Krogers needs to train its staff on what is STATE laws and how to follow it. You COMPANY policy whatever it may be is a different matter and frankly if it differs from state law it should be posted publicly for all to see. I for one am done with your pharmacy services at your store. You employees and poorly trained, ill mannered even when spoken to politely and your pharmacists appear to ignorant of state law.
Desired outcome: An apology from the regional director of your pharmacy division. I have other suggestions as well but space is limited here. Apparently your not too concerned with solutions.
Removal of patriotic merchandise
I just read an article about Kroger removing patriotic apparel from stores because someone complained. I shop at Krogers all the time. I'm sick of companies caving into woke people. If the people don't like things then they don't have to purchase them. It is not fair for a few people to take away other peoples rights to purchase merchandise. Anyone and everyone can be offended by something or anything. These babies need to grow up and stop being so sensitive!
If Kroger's is going to cave to the woke generation than maybe I need to take all of my grocery buying somewhere else. Stop Pissing Great Customers OFF by caving in.
P.S.
Put My pillow products back on your shelves!
Desired outcome: Merchandise not removed from stores!!
Pulling American products from your shelves
Are you serious? I will no longer shop at any Kroger stores, in no way do these items suggest for one minute that any approves of mass shootings, these are American products sold in American stores, you should be ashamed of listening to crackpots, these people are idiots and do not understand the difference between legal gun ownership and the mental health of a few nuts that use guns for death and destruction, if they could not find guns they would use the next best thing, knives, bats, cars, bombs etc. Do America a favor and do not cower to a very few people who don’t know the difference.
Desired outcome: Replace items in stores
Lynchburg area stores
I’m new to Lynchburg. I’m really disappointed to find Kroger to be a small example of Walmart. The shelves are chaotic. The selection of organic coffee is embarrassing. There is no mozzarella, whole milk cheese, unless I want to pay for the select brands in the cheese bar! No butcher! The only good thing you have is wine! At the end of the day you still have to go to Walmart for the items you don’t want to carry! Embarrassing
Desired outcome: Take care of your customers!
Pharmacy
I dropped a Rx off at 4:30 p.m. i was told it would be an hour. I returned to the Ironbridge Marketplace Kroger in Chester, Va at 6:00 p.m. only to be told it would be 30 minutes. I sat and waited in the pharmacy area for an hour and still the Rx was not filled. I left and will have to take time out of my day, yet again, to return to see if it was filled. This is unacceptable.
Read full review of KrogerDigital Coupons
If you are poor, elderly or visually handicapped Kroger is discriminating against you with there digital coupon policy. Not everyone has or wants a smartphone, computer or tablet, it is expensive to purchase and get the internet to get the coupons. It is just another way to make the above pay more for the same item, its either on sale or its not! STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH YOUR SIGNS AND PRICING.
Desired outcome: If you advertising a price, it should be that price at the checkout, period.
Allowing racism and assault in their workplace
While employed there I was constantly targeted by racists managers and by one in particular who made numerous racist remarks to me and after I reported it to one of the managers nothing was done about it. I was then retaliated against by the manager who was acting out her racism and on 5/16/22 she assaulted me, shouted out to everyone in the store I was a drug addict and then accused me of being a thief. After I filed charges she then decided to file charges and suddenly her hand became broken. The managers lied and said their was no video footage, unlawfully suspended me, is being bias towards me, setting up fake union meetings to make it look like they are trying to protect me but are coming at me aggressively, and making me out to be the initiator of the assault that their manager inflicted and initiated against me. They are siding with her due to her race (white) and due to her seniority. There is no policy in their handwritten book that says a person cannot defend themselves against a person assaulting them and there is no laws in the state of Michigan that says a person can initiate an assault and then turn around and play the victim and or scream injuries. This store needs to be investigated and investigating asap.
Desired outcome: I want a full and thorough investigation asap.
400x denomination of gift card digital coupon
Today we went in to Kroger for the last day on a digital coupon to buy a gift card for 4x the gas points per dollar. We asked and no one could tell us anything about it. This is the second time we have tried to buy a gift card when they were offering extra points. My husband stood at the customer service desk for 10 minutes just to find out they knew nothing.

After waiting for 10 minutes in the line labeled "drop off" to get a prescription filled due to under staffing, I was sent to another window because they were only dispensing at the windows labeled "drop off", it was not allowing drop off. Then I found out that, while the prescription was free at Publix, it was not at Kroger and they would not tell me what...
Read full review of KrogerKroger caesar salad
Bought a packaged salad 3 days ago. Sat down to eat it just now & it has a big chunk of the lettuce core in it. Makes up about 1/8 of the lettuce in it . Obviously not edible as far as that chunk. I ate around it but feel that Kroger packaging could definitely do a better job with quality control on their salads . As this is second time I have had this happen within last 4 weeks. Last time was southwest salad. I don’t believe I will buy any more.
Desired outcome: Would like my 5$ I paid for it back! But have no receipt at this point for either of them. No car to be able to take it back either at this point
