large group of people asking for donations
I have no objection to a small table off to the side or whatever and LOCAL groups asking for donations or selling something. However, at Kroger in Southaven, Ms., this afternoon, 10/16/2016, 8 women lined the doorway creating a "tunnel" effect and literally stepped in front of you to ask for donations for a food bank in another town. They demanded an answer before you could go on through the line of women. They were at each entrance/exit. I called back and spoke to someone (supposedly a manager) in which I felt it would go no further. These women got you going in AND then again the same thing on the way out. If I am interested in something, I will walk over or whatever, I do not like to be put on the spot! I feel this should be stopped right away. By the look on other people's faces, they felt the same, very uncomfortable, and hurrying in or out. This is bad for business.

left out bag of groceries
I was at kroger today and when I got home I realized that the bagger had left a bag of my groceries and this also happened a month ago. Each time I have gone back to get my groceries, which was around 7:30pm each time, there was not a manager around to help me. The employees that were there seemed to care less and didn't even apologize.
deli fried chicken
I went to the Kroger where I do all my grocery shopping and bought Deli fried chicken. When I got home and was serving the chicken it was pink on the middle. I called the store and they said ok thanks . I was not offered a refund or even an apology . Maybe I should look at another grocery not associated with Kroger. I am very disappointed with this store
Pink chicken does not equal raw chicken.
disrespectful employees
Disrespectful employees
I just went to the Kroger's store 1019 Cumberland Falls Hwy, Corbin, KY 40701. Also I want you to know I spend at least $300.00 to $500.00 each month (yearly) at this store. I wanted to buy two lottery tickets from the lottery machine at this store. Well I went to the front desk. I asked the lady if I could change 3 dollars of quarters into 3 one dollar bills. As I said before; I was getting my tickets for tonight’s drawings. Well she told me that if I had change I would have to use the Vera Star change machine which cost money for me to use it. I fill She was very disrespectful toward me. She said it messed up their money inventory count! I told her I would remember that the next time. (There will not be a next time I am going to shop somewhere else.) I mean was causing a great burden on her to count 12 quarters and give back 3 Dollars in change. I felt she was being hateful to me. I am 61 years of age (and Disabled) and when you start to get older it seems some younger people don’t look as if you really don’t matter how you fill or how they treat you. I have had other insults from some of the other employees from this same store? Also even the older men from up the front disk act as if they don’t want to wait on me. I was told one time when I went to the front disk and waited in line. When it was my turn He said I would have to wait he had to help out at one of the registers. I mean it would have only taken him only maybe 30 seconds (I was buying a pack of cigarettes. So I just left the store. I looked back at him as I was leaving and he was laughing and talking to one of their lady employees and looking at me. (HOW RUDE) Don’t you think? There is are some other people like an older lady who works at the front desk who is really nice. Well I believe I will start going to Wall Marts across town. I feel like they always treat me like I am human and with some respect.
So telling you to use the change machine, which is there for that very reason, is discriminating against you? The reason they have a change machine is to avoid having to open their register for change. That is in no way disrespectful or discriminating.
seafood
Let's face it there is no decent seafood in the state of indiana, especially at grocery stores. Greenwood, Indiana kroger store ruined my family seafood dinner. I bought shrimp[rubber and dry], mussels dirty and full of sand and mud after soaking and cleaning water for 3 hours [disgusting], salmon smelled like puke. I lived and fished and dug clams, scallops and mussels three to four days a week on Long Island for FORTY years, i should have realized that Indiana stores play shell, no pun intended, game with people on seafood. They get everything frozen and thaw and sell it, most places that advertise fresh seafood that is frozen would get a look at by some government agency. I will find this agency and start action against Kroger. This happened on Tuesday August 30, 2016. having been in Indiana for two years I realize that this state is a haven for dishonest business backed by shady politico's. I will also write a strong letter to the Better Business Bureau and the FDA. What Kroger does with it's other products should be investigated too, and I plan to start a one man [for now] assault on them. they f---- with the wrong Marine. I also know that this will never make it to the Kroger bosses [bottom line feeders] as they may be.../ps my email [protected]@yahoo.com
rude cashier
The cashier at self checkout was extremely rude. I was purchasing grapes and the per pound price was incorrect. They came up $1.98 per lbs., but should have been $1.28 per lbs. I attempted to ask the cashier an older Asian man to correct the price. He immediately began arguing with me saying it was the red grapes. I corrected him and said no actually the red grapes were marked $0.88 per lbs, but the green (white) were $1.28. He was very rude continuing to argue rather than have someone check the price so I asked him to suspend the transaction so I could go take a picture of it. He turned his back to me leaving me standing there for several minutes then turned around and asked me what did I want. I again asked him to suspend the transaction so I could take a picture. He then told me just go very rudely. I was extremely upset but how he was acting at this point so I replied in kind. I went and took a picture if both the green and red grapes showing the price in both and came back and showed him. He reluctantly changed the price (still ringing them up wrong). I was very upset and when I finished scanning my items my Kroger card wouldn't scan. I went over and said would you please scan my card it won't scan. He came over to my sco register and got very loud with me and shoved a sales ad in my face pointing out the price of the red grapes which had nothing to do with what I was buying. I wad yelling by thus point because 1. He was wrong 2. He was rude and 3. He had gotten in my personal space. Every human has a 3 to 4 foot radius around them which is personal space. The way he did that with the paper was disrespectful and threatening and I didn't appreciate it especially since he was in the wrong. I have spent several thousand dollars in Kroger over the last 18 years and this is not how I expect to be treated. I then told him to get a manager immediately because I was livid. He proceeded to page security instead. When she came down I told her what happened and she smirked. By the time the manager came down I was beyond pissed off. The cashier whom I am told is name Mr. Selwyn began yelling and arguing with me in front of the manager. I am a single mom and I barely can afford to buy groceries after I pay rent, so I can't afford to be over charged. It was the principle of the matter more than the price though.
molded fruit
I went into my local Kroger here in Macon, GA last week and purchased a bag of ocean spray tangerines. I gave one to my 3 year old to eat and he said it didn't taste like the "normal ones" so upon looking into the bag almost all of them were soft, spoiled and had black mold looking spots on them. Later that evening he started vomiting. I took him to our after hours pediatric center and it was confirmed it was more than likely the fruit because he was fine before eating it. I work 3rd shift and I am a single mom so I missed work on the count of this. I went to return them the next day and it was somewhat in the evening and I could not find my receipt . I told the person at customer service the reason I was returning and that maybe they should make sure they pull them to keep others from getting sick. She was rude and not the least bit concerned and to top it off she said since I didn't have my receipt I would have to get the same item. I was so angry I stormed off and took the tangerines back home with me and go back to Kroger the next day hoping I would get someone a little more sympathetic. Well this man working the desk also acted like it was an aggravation so he calls a "manager" so an employee comes over and when I asked him if he was a manager he stated he was "over that department" I went on to explain the situation for the third time and he states he'd have to calll a manager over. A lady then walks over and I explain for the fourth time my issues not only with the fruit, but the employees. She tells the man to give me a giftcard for the amount of the tangerines and wrote down my information and apologized and that was it! I then get a letter from Kroger just apologizing for what happened. I am thinking shouldn't I be getting more than a letter of apology? I missed work, spent money taking my 3 year old to the dr, and wasted time going up there so many times just to be sent an apology letter? I would like a little more than that for the chaos, worry and aggravation all because of Kroger and it's employees
Most bagged fruit comes in a see through bag...
4 tins of milk
I bought 4 carnation fat free tins of milk and prepared my raisin cereal eat. When i opened the milk and poured it in my cereal i saw that the color was didn't look right so tasted it and it seem funny. I decided to look at the date and found out all four ha expired. Some dated last year.
I win there and all the customer service lady could say was do want an exchange or money back not even an apology then that comes.
western union
On sunday july 10th i sent a money transfer with western union going to jacksonville fl. On Monday july11 when my uncle went to pick it up the money was gone. I called western union customer service line and they stated that the destination was changed to memphis tn and the money had been picked up. And after investigating western union stated the pickup was correct and closed the case which in very incorrect. 1st of all i did not do a location change! someone in that kroger store tampered with that transaction! i do not have $200 to let someone steal from me, and i will contact the authorities because this is clearly wire fraud and i want my money!

So typical Kroger. My BF works in one and I like nothing more than hearing all the goofy stories he brings home about the other employees. All I have to say is no wonder they're so surly! (except my BF who is an utter angel)
sugarhouse maple streusel breakfast bread
Took a couple pieces out to cook. Found a cockroach baked in the bread slides. That's very gross and nasty. I buy this bread allot, well I did! I have a picture of where it came out of a air pocket, thinking it was a raisin. Then remembered this loaf don't have them..
terminated without notice
I have been working for Kroger (store 255) for about two months. Everything from my stand point was going well because I hadn't received any negative feedback or write ups. I was asked if I could work another shift for a different department in which I haven't had any training in, however I was told the job would be easy so I took it. I did the work that was asked and left 2 hours early because I was told I could leave if I would like to if I finish early. The next day that departments lead told the manager that I didn't do anything which was false however the manager believed her claim. He confronted me and I stood my ground claiming that I did the job and reminded him he worked with me the same night so if anything was wrong he could have told. His reply was, "Im gone listen to what my lead tells me happened." Not even 2 hours later the General Manager as well as this department manager asked me to come into the office, where I was fired without any reasoning, warning, prior writes ups or any other kind of paper work.

kroger brand tortilla cupz
Today July 2, 2016 we purchased two bags of Tortilla Cupz at the 4900 Port Royal Road, Spring Hill, TN [protected]. After eating a few, the next one pulled out of the bag was stuck together inside one another. When I pulled them apart a white chicken feather covered with black specks of something. I saved the discussing item, took pictures, and tried to do a complaint on the phone but your office was closed. Printed on the bag is Best by Sep 26, [protected]:58. Net weight is 9.75 OZ. It appears the feather is baked into the corn chip. I think you need to recall this chips.
minute maid mango passion fruit light 15 calorie drink
I have requested this product several times . I have filled in request forms at the following locations : Hubbards lane (twice), Prospect, Shelbyville Road Middletown. This product was in a weekly ad dated May 29th. I checked several stores with no success . I requested this again from a enterouge of managers touring Hubbards Lane store the week of June 7th. A middle aged bald headed man with a Hispanic decent. I did not get his name. I gave them my name and phone number. I have yet to enjoy the courtesy of a return call! I will not return to your store. I'm sure my purchases will not be missed. There are a lot of new stores in my area that will offer better service. Respectfully, Steve Bennett [protected]. Kroger card #[protected]
meat and deli
Having shopped at kroger, 26130 gratiot, roseville, mi store my entire adult life, it has become a downward spiral!
Employees in the meat department must be clueless as to how to trim/cut meat! Odd shaped steaks and roasts with lots of fat left on! Ups the cost i'm sure, but what ever happened to customer service? Lazy, unhappy workers mumbling what they should be paid.. Etc... I really dont care!
The work ethic sucks! Sometimes an unhappy employee is not a productive one! Cutting cost usually results in the stores nearing end of operation! The writings on the wall... Come on kroger get it together and start providing customers with the service they deserve! These employees wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for us customers! Super disappointed with kroger!
krafts caramels
This item is carried in Krogers stores but is Never on the shelves! I purchas this item weekly for my diabetic son for insulin control so it isn't just a sugar craving! The store at 7300 Yankee Rd, Liberty Twp, Oh 45044 is where I shop and no one I have spoken to has an answer as to the constant emptiness of the spot marked on the shelf. Is it possible to place a special order or do I have to resort to AMAZON .
getting fired unjustly
I called out for 4 shifts (which is completely ok) because of finals. I called on a Sunday saying I am not showing up for these certain days. When I go to clock in next Sunday, they tell me I am fired for not calling out those days, when in reality, I did. They also did not try to communicate to me during that week. So to sum it up, I got fired for something I didn't do and I got no warning/notice. I also have a call log proving that I called the store on that certain day.
mt. airy location - service
I have no idea what your plan is for this location but it is terrible.
Ever since you got rid of all the seasoned employees and brought in the new ones has made this place a disaster.
I spend 45 minutes navigating through the isles, trying to find everything on my list, which I didn't, to get in line - 1st one in the line and still waited 10 minutes for a cashier to come who, didn't even know how to run the register. Asked for cigarettes and the cashier told me to go to counter and get them. I went to counter only to be told I cannot get them the cashier must. Went back to line, put my card in to pay and, was told I could no longer hit the button for credit and had to enter pin. I have NEVER used a pin for this card. Was then told this is new practice.
Please, when you change a process for accepting payments, it would be a real nice gesture to post a sign on the doors when entering. I would not have wasted my time had I known.
This is not the first problem at this location. Again, ever since you changed the layout - which makes no sense by the way and, got rid of seasoned employees - wherever you brought these new ones from, you should send them back.
We have been Kroger shoppers for over 50 years and I will never, ever, spend another dime at a Kroger.
Respectfully,

pharmacy champion forest - houston, tx
3/31 I saw my physician for medication for travel. I took the prescription to my pharmacy and was told that they were out of stock. I was also told that they would not order the medication because it was for a small amount. I was actually told to go to either CVS or Walgreen's to get my script. My spouse works for the Kroger Distribution Center and CVS and...
