This is the third visit in the last month to the Adrian meijer store for me to the deli where the wait has been at least 15 min for me. There are usually only 2 people actually helping the masses and the others are either talking to each other or standing waiting for chicken to be done. Today there was three actually working when I pulled my number and then one announced it was her lunch time and then stopped to talk to someone for 5 min in the Chicken area while there are 7 in line waiting. After I finally was served, by a very nice and fast young man, I saw the deli team leader come back and I told her these same comments. Something needs to be done. I do not have this issue at country market and while I love meijer for everything else...the delI is very disappointing. People abandoned today that were in line in front of me. You are losing potential business.
Look forward to seeing improvement or I am going to skip the deli here myself too.
sterling heights, mi store debris
I manage the Assisted Living, My Doctors Inn located at 8384 Metropolitan Parkway, Sterling Heights MI 48312. We received a City of Sterling Heights Violation for scattered debris lining the east property line where trees and a masonry wall trap all of the blowing debris from your parking lot and past construction debris. There are many Meijer printed bags amongst the variety of paper products that clearly come from your site which is just west of our location (we are directly behind Meijers). The City Manager is allowing us 30 days to contact the store manager to resolve this claim and violation. I have left a message with the store manager on 5-7-19 and still have not received a response yet. Please let us know that this will be handles or we can hire a company to collect the debris and send Meijers the invoice whichever your prefer.

multiple pallets in isle while trying to shop
While shopping last evening 9:30 or so on Sunday, May 5th I couldn't get to the products I needed. I was in the peanut butter isle and there were three pallets of groceries in the isle and right next to each other blocking all but a couple jars of peanut butter. I understand needing to get the product out to be able to stock, but 9:30 and completely blocking a whole shelf of product is a bit inconsiderate. I only needed a couple of items and that being one of them. This store is often a mess with stocking at all hours. Sometimes while I'm shopping I can't help but wonder if the Knapps corners store other other locations make their customers shop around such a mess consistently.
restaurant quality quarter pound beef patties 24pk
I bought a 24pk of the restaurant quality quarter pound beef patties and they fall apart while cooking on the grill. Most of them fell under the grate and the rest we pieced together. Never had this happen to us before. We have bought the boxed patties before (they seem to changed the design of the box) and never had a problem before. Pretty disappointed!

I don't know why you chose to change your online store but ever since the change my online shopping experience has gotten so much worse. I can forget about all the initial glitches it had because that can happen when updating a website but it's all the changes you made that have actually made the shopping experience worse. First of all, I have 3 children 3 and under and one on the way so shopping online and doing curbside pick up is the only way I can get my shopping done. You changed the way you select curbside to be much less customer friendly and it seems completely unnecessary. I can no longer view and choose the curbside time I want/need ahead of time, I have to fill my basket, which can take me two hours to complete, before I can even look at the curbside times. If none of the times I wanted are available, I just wasted two hours of my life making my order to then not be able to fulfill it! What sense does that make? Previously, I had the option to pick my time before I started filling my cart and if my time wasn't available then I didn't waste any time. Second, selecting the number of items is much slower, why did this get changed? Before, I could change the number then add the item, now I have to add 1 item, wait for it to process the item, then change the number, then wait for it to process the change. Again, you are going away from progress and have now made it slower. Another awful change is the "search." Now when I search for my items, it doesn't recognize key words that it should and it doesn't recognize key words that it used to. It is extremely time consuming to find what I want. I thought I would try to save myself some time since the search tab is so awful by just going by an old order, but that has changed for the worst as well! Now I can't select items from a previous order, I have to select all or nothing, AND to make matters worse, I can't just fill the whole order then delete the few items I don't need and add the extra ones that I also need. You have made it all or nothing which no one will ever use. You made your website from user friendly, to user unfriendly. You should change the website back to the way it used to be because this new version is the worst! It is making me want to shop somewhere else.
multiple items pricing (I need & want only one) bait and switch at the register
The multiple item pricing is unethical, misleading and discriminates. Many clerks have said the pricing is good for one, or 3, or 5, or 10. Tonight the rude clerk (DEAN) said, "I don't make the prices."

BOGUS and VERY POOR service and operation.
Guess I should, several weeks ago, have just watched and let the disoriented old man smash his car into several more cars (or even people) instead of intervening - & not even a thank you from anyone.
BTW When I left tonight, I went directly to Walmart and found better pricing on Cereal ($2.98 ver $3.49) and celery and better quality baby carrots.

5/1/19 this is the third time in less than a year that the water jug filler machine has been down at mason mi meijer. Last time it was fixed, there wasn't even a sticker to show the date of maintenance or water quality check. I have complained along with others that we need 2 machines. Every time I get water, which is twice a week, I have to normally wait in line, or when machine breaks (like now) I have to go to kroger's or darryl's store to get water, so I do my shopping while i'am there! So when your machine is down, we shop elsewhere! With all the competition going on, I would think this would be taken into consideration. Also, every single sale on the first day, most all items on sale are not in stock! And good luck, trying to find someone to check in the back! Argh! When you continually are out of stuff, I just order from amazon, again loss to you! In this day in age, you need to do everything to keep your customers happy! This morning, I was badgered by a homeless man for money, inside the store, then accused of stealing.
First, the man came up and asked for money, while I was at the bread counter. I told a produce employee who said she would tell a manager.
Later, because I had quite a few items, I wanted to go to a register that had an actual human cashier. No luck. There was only one, and there was a huge line. So, I went to a self-scan lane. As I was scanning a Totino's pizza, I had 11 since they were on sale, 11 for $10, the items were backed up, and it said "unexpected item on the belt", for a pizza I'd already scanned. I moved the backed up items, and tried to put the pizza on the belt, but it said it was "unexpected", even though I'd already scanned it. So, I then scanned another pizza and put the newly-scanned item on the belt, and the other one at the end where the already-scanned items were located. A clerk came over, saying she saw what I did. "You walked it down, I saw you." I said I had already scanned it. She said, "No. I was watching, I saw you walk it down." I told her she could count the items if she'd like, which she did, proving that I had scanned 11, and there were 11 on the belt. She apologized, but it was quite an unfortunate shopping experience, to be sure.
Later, another cashier came over as I was scanning a bag of pita bread, that, for some reason, wasn't registering on the belt. She told me I could just walk it down. I told her, the last time I did that, I was accused of stealing.
When the question came up, asking if I was highly satisfied with my shopping experience, I hit "no".

We purchased this product on January 8 2019, for my husband who has terminal cancer.
Because of his radiation and chemo therapy we were unable to see a hearing medical doctor.
The hearing aide seemed to be the answer.
It worked great for several months. Unfortunately, it stopped working. Squealing static sounds. We checked the connections and changed the battery. Still had the squealing and static noises.
I was not able to get to meijers to return the product before the expired return policy due to my husbands medical condition.
The customer service Dept was very nice but wasn't able to even exchange it. I had to call manufacturer
They called the store and gave them an ok to exchange the product. They said they couldn't.
Now we have no hearing device. I have to wait for return label to send it back for repair, Or new product.
I have been a customer since the Algonquin store in Illinois opened. I understand there are polices. Although I didn't tell the customer service my husband medical issue, I would think if the manufacture is ok with crediting store after the time limit for returns. There wouldn't be a problem.
I was 1 week away from the 90 day return policy.
I purchased Meijer, "Purse Ready Underwear for Women.%/31/19..Item#[protected] $10.49. Package states "compare to Depends...Women size L...Never bought before. Shopped at Meijer since opened #150 in Loveland, Ohio. As soon as the item I wore got wet..It dissolved, fell apart. Made an unpleasant accident. Never again.!.

I always receive my statement. I always pay on time. I usually pay in person at the store. It takes so long for them to post it.
I decided to pay on line, put in the new account. Apparently I didn't do it correctly twice, called commodity MasterCard to find out why they only took 1/2 of what I paid them. And to find out that after they helped me get it correct on the system. I can't charge nothing for 90 days. So Iam punished for paying my bill on time and trying to have it posted quicker. If they looked at my payment status they would find a perfect record. I don't think I need meijers that bad. Great excuse to start at Walmart. I could understand if I was a customer that never paid.
not honoring an advertised price
I get all of my "Local" store ads on Flipp. I never look at paper ads. The Spectracide Weed and Grass Killer Accushot 1.33 gallons is advertised as buy one get the Refill 1.33 gallon free. I noticed it did not ring up at this price so I went to the Service Desk. I showed the ad on my phone. The girl at the Service Desk couldn't figure out how to credit it so she called for another girl. That one said "Well is it in our local ad?" We only honor our local paper ad. Then she said well maybe it is only a 2 day ad... my flipp ad shows that it is good from April 7- April 13th. This is a huge dissatisfier when a store refuses to honor an ad that i have in my hand and can show them. One very dissatisfied customer!

This Meijer store is awful. The service is terrible, The cashier's are rude or to busy talking to each other to wait on the customer's that pay their salary's The last two weeks I went there their are no carts inside. I had to go out to the parking lot and find my own. Two weeks ago on a Monday at 10:00AM their was only once check out lane open. Not self scan. Their were at least 11 people in line. When you have a lot of items you don't want to use self scan. One of your associates directed me to get out of line and go to the 12 and under check out. I asked her twice if that was ok she said yes. I went over and cashier did not great me just gave me a dirty look. I explained that I was directed to come over she asked me who told me to do that I did not know her name. I told her I wasn't telling her a lie and she got snotty and said I didn't call you a liar and started yelling across the aisle to verify I was telling the truth. Not once did she smile or even look at me. When I was all done no Thank You nothing she just looked at me and asked is there something else?
Then this Monday I went to the same store which I will not again shelves empty place is a mess. I was checking out and my cashier was to busy chit chatting with three of her co-workers which they do their a lot. Once of her co-workers was talking very loud about a customer that was not happy and how she told her. Whom ever is the manager of that store needs to go to class on customer service. I felt a bit discriminated against as I am not African American. As the cahier's were all chummy with each other. You need to quality help or send them to training. This store has really gone down hill in last 6 months or so.

I work with UHC. I have a customer of yours who is complaining that since you are now required to file rx claims with the insurance...and if the insurance will only allow 30 days fill, you will only fill 30 days instead of 90 day fill. He is highly irate that your program has changed and is threatening media complaint.

Your store policy does not make sense. I went to a Redi-Care on Sunday 2-17-19 and receive a prescription for a controlled substance for 3 days as that is the law. I had it filled at your Charlotte pharmacy. I went to my physician on 2-20-19 to get an additional prescription for the same medication as I needed more than 3 days of medication. Mid-Michigan Physicians made the prescription, and the pharmacist would not fill the prescription without first checking with my doctor (authentication). They called my doctors office and left a message...god knows when they would call back since that office is large and extremely busy, notorios for not responding timely. I live 35 miles away from Lansing and come into town for professional services. It was quite a inconvenience to wait the allotted time to get my prescription, only to have it not filled. My compaint indicating that I had just had it filled on 2-17-19 fell on deaf ears and the cashier & pharmacist acted like I was wasting their time even asking simple questions.
None of the staff acted kind to me since I was then required to "Take" my prescription and go some where else. Going back to the drop off window to get my prescription was also greeted with contempt. The young cashier, pharmacist (middle aged woman with shoulder length blond/grey hair) and black woman who worked the "drop off window" could not give a "rat's [censored]" about me. I can appreciate legislation regarding controlled substances, but as a senior citizen I do not appreciate such scrutiny. My pain is substantial, I walked into the store as bending and leaning at a drive up pharmacy window does not work for me, stood in line (painfully), all of which exhaborated my medical condition. My experience at your store was nothing more than being treated like a Mexican drug lord. I was only trying to get my prescription filled after going to the doctor, then to go home and rest. I was not anticipating the wait, poor customer service, and having to get out of the house again tomorrow to get medication. Maybe some day your staff will experience great pain and need a opioid, and then realize that perhaps a simple phone call to the customer could mean a world of kindness. Just because the opioid was prescribed to me, does not mean I am an prescription abuser.

I was at the store on February 15th. I realize I was checking out late (10:45pm), but the only lanes open were for self check out. This is fine, except when you have a large order (I had over 40 items). There is no room to put this many items, and the system won't allow you to bag and put them in your cart until you are completely finished with checking out. Overriding or solving this issue would have eliminated much of my disappointment. I had to carefully stuff all of my items on a very small table which only included 2 bag holders anyway. When I was finally finished, I was continually taking bags from the checkout in front of me to bag my items all the while the computer is constantly and annoyingly telling me to remove all of my items from the bagging area. Mind you, this a while when you have many items. The most frustrating and angering part of all of this was the fact that there were 2 cashiers (or checkout helpers-I'm unsure of their title) who were standing there just talking to each other. The store was not busy, and there were few, if any, other customers also checking out. Neither of them offered to help in any way to make my checkout experience easier. I would have liked to see them offer to open a regular lane, or at least offer to help me bag my items at the end or figure out a way to more easily self checkout with so many items. The table is not big enough for a large order. Not everyone who is shopping later in the evening is buying only a small number of items. I normally enjoy shopping at Meijer, but I was very disappointed in my experience there last night.
