customer service
I'm sickened at what myself and a couple of other shoppers witnessed as the Shoppers Drug Mart on Eramosa. An employee was completely rude and disrespectful to a customer who clearly has special needs. The gentleman had been at the post office area and had folded down boxes and placed them neatly on the counter. He had brown paper in his hand and had been...

Purchased this product four days ago...This is such a poor product. It doesn't even give off any steam. The packaging states it's supposed to work for 14 hours yet it only really works for about 4 before having to refill it. Once it empties all you can smell is burning, had to stop using for fear of an electrical fire. Very disappointed in this product, HIGHLY would NOT recommend to anyone, I would warn people against this product.
shoppers drug mart brand makeup remover cloths
Your company changed the packaging for these cloths. While I applauded this decision, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I used the first makeup remover cloth. You went and changed the scent of the cloth, the texture of it, and there is not enough wetness in this cloth to take off my makeup. I find the so called cucumber smell to be offensive and the material of the cloth is in no way soft or comfortable to use.
WHY OH WHY when you changed the packaging was it necessary to change an already great product. I am sorry to say I will not be buying these anymore, which is a huge shame because they were nicely priced and I loved them. I had been using this for about 8 years.
Thank you for nothing in this.
pharmacy
I am being charged for medicine that is covered by uninsured health benefits. The drug store can request for my prescription to be covered if not automatically covered it have an alternative that is covered. I am going with out medication because of this. I asked that Allison Sevigny not be involved with my medication or myself. I have had trouble since she...

I was stopped at the door after my purchase and accused of shoplifting was a very embarrassing situation. I was honest and respectful I even emptied out my pockets. It was not good enough and I was asked to leave. I WILL NOT go there ever again and will not recommend this store to anyone if something is not done. Thank you for your time sincerely Trent Strickland.

marketing big problem!
Dear Sirs:
I am a graphic artist and have had some professional experience in
ad layouts... but my observations are more as a Consumer. I hope that my comments will be appreciated.
I get a Shopper's Drug Mart Flyer at my home. Ads can be very time-consuming due to the volume received. I am sorry to say, that although Shopper's is my favoured drug store I 'ALWAYS' toss your flyer in the garbage without looking at it. This is due to 1) doesn't catch my eye... boring 2) too much effort required to read it and 3) a feeling of resulting frustration trying to read it.
MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.
Your ads are way over the top in the number of offerings. There are so many that you have had to make the product photos and description so miniscule that it is an effort to read about it. It is boring... like reading the dictionary... box after box after miniscule box all lines up in a grid. I get it... the consumer could scan the visual (photo) and then read about the detail if something catches there eye? On the contrary... that is way too much work to scan over when the photos themselves
aren't large enough to catch anyone's eye!
JUST DOESN'T WORK FOR ME.
And, in case you are thinking... I am NOT visually impaired. But, it would behoove you to consider the aging portion of the population who might not have the desired 20-20 vision to view yours ads with ease.
This leads into my next issue... which is not Shopper's problem, but maybe you could pass this on to your SUPPLIERS. The labeling of SHAMPOO vs CONDITIONER
is so miniscule that you can't find it on dry land let alone soaking wet in a shower... and if you do wear glasses... forget it! This is a common problem that has to be addressed and way more important than fancy bottles and lids. Yes... I know there is a difference in the bottle... but really... who memorizes this detail. Don't you and shouldn't you always check the bottle contents before pouring it on your head?
This complaint is pretty much universal with all the manufacturers. Just don't get it... who is responsible for this kind of research and design? As a retailer, your suppliers should be made aware. Just saying...

I called my local Shoppers pharmacy to have my sons Foquest prescription filled and they informed me that they have none on hand and would not be getting any until late Monday afternoon possibly Tuesday, this is Friday evening that I called. Read full review of Shoppers Drug Martcashiers / check out
On more than one occasion I have gone to check out at SDM and the cashier was standing near the cash but unwilling or unable to cash me out, but rather directed me to the self check out machines. The cashier then stood there and watched me check myself out. The store was not busy and the employee was not doing anything other than standing there watching me do the work.
SDM is one of the more expensive drug stores around and should have excellent customer service to go with those prices. If I have a choice to use self check out, that is one thing, but if there is no other option than to use self check out scanners then there should be some sort of discount.
lottery
Hi, I'm sorry if my message isn't clear. I already called and complaint about this. Anyways I won $1.00 on a Lucky 7 Scratch and win ticket + $2.00 on Keno which equals to= $3.00. I then wanted to purchase a $6.00 poker. I used my $3.00 lottery winnings and $4.00 cash to pay for $6.00 Poker Lotto. $3.00+$4.00-$6.00=$1.00 (I HAVE $1.00 CHANGE THE...

On October 15, 2019 I bought Kelosoft Scar Cream from the shoppers drug mart located near Alta Vista Towers. A day later I found that it has been expired for 4 months! The exp was 06/2019, I didn't check the exp. date while shopping. It seems SDM doesn't have a customer complaint website? Didn't figure out how to make a complaint to them. Didn't have time...

The pharmacy refused to issue my prescriptions in refills so I was forced to buy a years supply of my prescriptions. Not only is this dangerous (e.g what if my prescription changes, the pills expire, or god forbid my pets get into my prescriptions), but it used up all of my disposable income as i was not planning on buying 12 months worth of pills. Not...

The Security guard working at this location on monday october 14th around 11am displayed unacceptable behaviour. He racially profiled all the indigenous customers on their way out of the store. If I wanted to use self check out I would. If I wanted to be a cashier, I would get a job as a cashier. To be directed to self check out after waiting for an actual cashier just because I am using debit is beyond stupid. I don't want to cash out my own items. I have the option and I choose not to ON PURPOSE. This is unacceptable. You overcharge on so many items, let me have the goddamn human interaction I deserve.
tim horton gift card
My husband received a gift card as a birthday present & when he went to use it was told the card had no information. The receipt of purchase showed the card having been activated. We 1st went to the Shoppers that the card had been purchased and was given a song and a dance by staff and after spending some time in the store, we were finally told they couldn't help us and that we had to call head office which that's what we did. When I called customer care, I was told before they could start my case I had to provide copies which I sent same night via email. Today I received an email from customer care stating that case remained open until we could provide copies of documentation and once again same information was sent via email. These emails were never returned, so not sure what the issue is. This prompted me to contact customer care again and I was told that emails had never been received. I was also told that I had to reply on the same email received with copies of receipts. Why should that be a problem if I am stating the case # on subject line. This is not the 1st time we encounter problems with gift cards purchased at Shoppers. It will be my last time making these type of purchases and perhaps you should consider stop selling gift cards, but then again you probably take a cut.
This gift card was only for 25 dollars and I wonder if it had been a higher value. Quite embarrassing if you ask me when you go to use it and are told has no information.
The card was bought at STC on Sep 26 for a birthday that occurred on the 28. I contacted customer care on Oct 7 told would take 2 weeks. The information requested was sent the same evening via email and successful. Today received follow-up email to say information not received and forwarded again successfully. Once again not received and it was not until I made a call and stayed on the line to make sure it had been received on their end which thankfully it was. I was told it would be another 7 days. A lot of waiting & aggravation if you ask me for such a big enterprise as Shoppers.
I hope you take my comments to heart and do something about this matter so others won't have to face what I have gone through. The case #[protected] and my email is [protected]@sympatico.ca
