I purchased my new HP computer at Shopper's Drug Mart in London. Ontario on Sat. April 20, 2019.
It is a 15-da0032 ca, serial number CND 8498JCQ, pruduct # 4NJ06UA#ABL.
I am terribly disappointed in this product.
Prior to this purchase, I used 2 ACER computers for the last 8-10 years. I got very good service from each one. I decded to purchase your machine because it had a faster CPU than ACER had available for a similar price.
I was warned by a professional in the computer field that your product was not as reliable as an ACER but foolishly ignored the information.
Since my purchase this machine has frozen various times which I found extremely difficult to "unfreeze".
It takes 2-3 minutes to start up even after I have reduced the startup items to the barest minimum.
I set the power options such that the screen would not go to sleep for 45 minutes. The machine sleeps anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour. I have attempted to reset this multiple times to no avail.
When it does restart the screen, the machine is frozen for up to 1 minute. Sometimes more than 1 minute.
When attempting to open a certain program, (8ball Pool by Miniclip) it will not open but continually buffers.
On occasion the screen will flash off and then turn on again. Never has this happened with any other machine I have owned or used in my job as a teacher.
While attempting to get an email address to send this complaint to you, I was thwarted by your customer rep who for 15 minutes kept telling me that you had "protocols" which said he could only pass me off to another person. He finally gave me the email address. His name is Chandan Kumar Paul. I was rude to im after repeated attempts to get the information. I did apologize for my poor language.
I spent many hour transferring information to this computer only to be aggravated and frustrated by the antics of this machine.
I spent twice as much for your machine as I would have spent for another ACER. I wasted my money!
I do not want to send this machine away to your centers for who knows how long to get your people to try to fix it. This should not happen after a few weeks of use.
I am upset and disappointed that your company has made such an inferior product.
I would like a refund of my purchase price!
I am sending a copy of this complaint to Shopper's Drug Mart to show them the problems I am having and the inferior product they are selling.
As the seller of this product, I hope you will support me in my quest for a refund.

RE: Inkey List skin care products.
Despite seeing the products on your website and reading about them in Chatelaine, the line doesn't seem to be stocked in your stores.
I visited several locations in Toronto and found that, not only are the Inkey products not on your shelves, but none of your employees or beauty consultants have heard of it. The employees politely searched for it but obviously thought I was delusional. I shop at your store frequently, and am not pleased.
Please advise. I won't be wasting any more time on this.

sale item - no stock
Flyer for this weekends 2-day sale included Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke. I made a special trip to the Lansdowne Street store, Peterborough, Ontario (741 Lansdowne Street West) today May 26, 2019.
There was not one package of Diet Pop anywhere in the store... nothing! "Sold Out" I was told by a not-very-friendly sales associate (too busy tidying up packages of toilet paper)
I asked if I could get a rain check "No, it's a 2-day sale"
A 2-day sale? I'm at the store before noon on Sunday and "sold out"
I am disappointed by not only the lack of product, but also the attitude of the sales associate. I expect better from Shoppers

Some woman on the floor was very rude to me around the time of 12:30 pm. My fingers was bleeding badly so I grabbed a box of bandaids and put one on then proceeded to go buy. She was staring at me the whole time I asked if there was something wrong she rudely said "are you going to buy those" and I said "yes it's okay you don't have to watch me" she proceeded to say "maybe I should ". I go to this shoppers all the time they are all usually so nice to me I am shocked by the behaviour and very unhappy about it.
Normal people do not open things without buying them. Nothing rude about that. if mommy taught you manners you yourself would not have been rude. I am sure if you asked first and explained the situation she would be understanding. Kid, you have to understand that people open up items all the time and not buy items.
rude employee
I went to the chestermere shoppers drug mart and I notice that I bought peanut butter that would be going bad in 30 day and I paid full price for it and you guy sell me product that are going to be going bad around 30 days and come back to get my money back and the rudest employee was mean and did not want to serve me and I spend a lot of money at shoppers do I want a gift card for all of thing you guy put me throw
life brand anti-dandruff shampoo
I have used this shampoo for years now and I am very happy with the results. The last bottle I purchased was fine until I got about half way through. One day, it just had a weird odour. It almost seemed that it had expired. I looked for an expiry date everywhere on the bottle and did not find one. It's quite putrid and now I can't finish the bottle because it's just unbearable. I've never heard of shampoo going bad before and I've always been happy with this product in the past. What do you recommend?

I called in my prescription on Saturday, a few days before I required it to ensure it would be ready in time. The pharmacist called me to inform me they didn't have any available in store and it wouldn't arrive until Wednesday. I told them I required it by Tuesday at the latest and they informed me they would have it shipped in from another pharmacy and it would be ready. When I arrived on Tuesday night, the woman working told me to wait for five minutes as she found the prescription. She told me they had three in store but could not give me any, and if I wanted my prescription I could drive to another store and get it. I receive excruciating migraines without this prescription, which greatly affects my ability to go to work. This is unacceptable and the lack of customer care truly shows.
service
On Sunday May 19th at approximately 4:00 I had occasion to visit shoppers drug mart in Haliburton, Ontario.
On that occasion I shopped throughout the store noticing numerous sales reps. Throughout the store.
Completing my shopping I sought out a cash counter to cash out with my items to purchase, to my dismay all cash counters were closed.
I was then directed to the self checkout.
With all the customer service reps. Available my question is does this make sense?
As well, as this is such a high volume tourist location as well as a high volume town would it not make more sense to keep someone on cash counter and not make them do the work themselves and assist in eliminating jobs?
This truly make my shopping experience an unforgettable experience, one worth sharing with many in a small town community.
store manager at portobello orleans
On May 17, I got my bike out for the first time and just when I got to the store I realized that I had forgotten my lock. I didn't want to go back so, I decided to ask if it was secure just to leave it for a less than 10 minutes outside in front of the window. I got in and asked a young trainee cashier if it it could be dangerous and she very nicely said that she would just keep an eye on it. The lady Manager immediately said that there were racks for the bikes to which I said that I already knew, but I explained that I had forgotten my lock and before I could finish she interrupted saying harshly that they couldn't be responsible for it. I said that I knew and understood but I was asking if it was it was a secure area. She interrupted and didn't let me finish in front of a bunch people. I understand that the store can't be responsible for my personal property, but this is not the first time that this woman is rude. She makes both clients and employees to feel uncomfortable. Why can't she just be nice and tell me that I could leave it there but the store is can't be responsible for it, on a nice, normal, polite way. I'm a regular, and I've seen that she's hard working but she's not pleasant, polite or a people person and should not be in charge of customer service. My husband had also and incident where it was late and there was nobody at the store and he wanted to pay at the cash and she absolutely wanted to make him use the self check-out (which we also like, but he wanted to buy lottery tickets). She insisted in such an unpleasant way that in the end the used the self check-out and did get his lottery tickets.
photo department mistakes
I placed an online order for photos to be printed Apr. 27/19 . The email conformation said that I would be emailed when the photos were ready. May 13 and I decided to check the tracking info from the courier. This showed that the photos were delivered and received by staff on May 2nd ! No phone call, no email. I went in to pick up the photos and two staff members could not find them. Not too many people get photos printed these days so not too many envelopes to look through. I was told to return tomorrow and the manager would be in. I returned, talked the manager and of course, she found my photos, filed under the wrong letter. I explained to the manager what had happened. I haven't used their service for a long time and this was the last. Dundas, Ont

Complaint re: Shoppers Drug Mart at Scarborough Health Network - Centenary Site - Neilson and Ellesmere
On the 13th of May (this week) after finishing my shift as a Volunteer I went into the store to ask for myself and others if the store was going to be still selling Lottery Tickets (the machine has been down for 2 weeks). I asked the Store Manager who was at the front cash . Very rudely he said "THE MACHINE IS DOWN AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON". I said I am just asking as the machine has been down for 2 weeks. He responded :IT WILL BE UP WHEN AND IF IT IS UP".
As the Manager he should be able to give a customer a nice reply and at least know if Lottery Tickets are going to be sold at the store anymore. This store is in a hospital and loads of staff buy there tickets there. Also why does this store not sell TTC Tickets?
I would appreciate a reply to this answering the issue at hand.

Every week wonder bread, advertised--yet everytime i go into the store there is no bread. every single time over the last months & months. store in question is at the Highgate Mall in Burnaby B.C.
Ahira Drugs. There is always an excuse. this time i was told --the bread company decides on the amount of bread each store gets.
store does not place the order. absolute rubbish.
FALSE ADVERTISING--- if shoppers is not going to have the product in sufficient quantity---it should be clearly stated on the flyer--in plain sight---ONLY 20 LOAVES OR LESS AVAILABLE.
THIS IS A 2 DAY SALE. went on 1st day 10.45 am, not late---0 brown & 4 white on the shelf----I am very very frustrated with the absolute lack of customer service at this store and with the misleading advertising.have to make the point, with the caps.
pharmacy
On submitting a prescription I ask the clerk if she carried a medication on the script she checked it was in her hand the when it was for it was fill incorrectly. When I returned and ask why they they were out of the medication in that quantity. They Lied to my face. For what reason I I'm not sure but probably that they could make more money twitch more quantity but it was a question of safety that it was prescribed in that way.

Hi there,
I have been a long term customer of the shoppers store at mentioned location.
Today, May 12, 2019 at around 5 pm I have experienced an extremely rude unprofessional unethical and embarrassing treatment from an employee, who said she was store "supervisor".
She was very rude and talked to me in an aggressive mad angry rude way in front of a huge line up of about 5-8 other customers waiting for their turn.
The issue arose when she didn't know how to activate a reloadable Visa card claiming they do not work. A huge shelf of Visa cards which was for sale wouldn't work? Why do they have them for sale? I asked her to help me choose a different card and that is when she started being extremely unprofessional and rude and mistreating me. I asked her for her name and she refused to tell me, I asked multiple times and she refused and did not wear her name tag. I asked to speak w manager and she refused again. After lots of insisting she gave me the number to call for complain and when I called it was her answering the phone and refusing to give me general management customer service direct number.
I request an apology and I was not able to compete my purchase either due to incompetence and laziness of the staff.
As she kept refusing to tell me her name and leaving and ignoring me I took a photo of the said emoter for the records that I will attach.
I hope to be contacted by general manager customer service representative soon as this is not how I should be treated and how they made me feel. This is not right. I came out of the store not only not being able to complete the necessary purchase but also being extremely humiliated and mistreated in front of multiple people.
People like this so called "store manager" should not be in this type of field as they have no basic manners let alone professional customer service care and respect.
Very disappoitning for chain store of such caliber to have employees as this one to represent them.
pharmacy and store cleanliness
Sunday May 12 approx 10am was at Cornerstone Prince Albert Store #0447.
Walked in and look at the at the hand held plastic grocery carriers to use and they are
extremely dirty including the ones with the rolling wheels.
Wanted to use one but didnt need a metal cart is too big for what i needed.
I have noticed this before, why would i want to use these for my clean items of prescriptions and groceries etcc.
Very Dirty. Disgusting.
Then I had to talk to pharmacy and the girl working as soon as she walks up to talk to me all I can smell is arm pits.
Stinky arm pits. I believe she is just an assistant working she is not a pharmacist. Then she doesnt understand what i
am giving her, my letter from insurance that i have to change my prescription pharmacies. I leave, then I go back to talk to her
then I can smell stinky armpits again and I looked at her white coat she is wearing and it is dirty also. I asked her if shoppers will
contact me about the change and the prescription. The pharmacy I was receiving my prescription contacts me to set up delivery to my home
and follows up as my medication requires refrigeration and is $900/month. She told me to contact shoppers.
My husband also deals at this shoppers and was extremely mad with the service he has been receiving. Especially the staff not speaking english very good and on one occasion the staff was getting rude. We never complained that time.
But we did talk about maybe going to change pharmacies and were going to monitor and see.
In dealing with health and medication I expect professional quality and smart, presentable clean, understandable english speaking professionals (able to understand).
I will take photos as i have to go back to shoppers this week.
unfair accusation of stealing
Hi there,
I was shopping today May 11th. I always use self checkouts. One of the item that I scanned was face cream but I decided not to get it this time so I canceled the item. After scanning everything and paying I returned cream to the cashier behind me. She said that I also canceled Bounty( I got 2 packs of paper towels). I said no I didn't, I only canceled cream and I paid for Bounty. She said loudly in front of so many people " I was watching you". She make me feel so uncomfortable like I am a thief. I showed her my receipt as a proof that I paid. She was still arguing with me. Finally she let me go. Never once said sorry to me. I was shopping with my baby, I had him in a stroller. After I left the store I called manager and left him a voice mail.
After getting back home I felt I was treating so unfair and so unprofessional. I leave in this neighborhood, I shop there all the tine. How I can go back there now?
I decided to ho back and speak to the manager. Manager apologized to me and blamed on bad couching. Cashier joined us and was trying to explain ther behavior.
I understand her job description but if she wasn't sure if i paid or not she could simply ask to see my receipt instead of accusing me of stealing in fron of so many people. She embarrassed me in front so many people. Saying out loud " i was watching you".
This behavior was unacceptable, her accusations were wrong. She put me down in front of my neighbors, disrespect me.
I really appreciate if someone can follow up with me.
Anna

contractors renovating one of their aisles
I am horrified and disturbed, that Shoppers Drug Mart Fairview Mall location wouldn`t use their common sense and having their contractors renovating one of their aisles after hours. After bringing this matter to the store manager attention relating to the above matter, let me by saying the store managers' behaviour and comment toward me, as a customer was uncalled for, and not taking customers safety seriously

management
My name is Melissa Cote and I am writing this email in tears after the way I was treated today in Shoppers Drug Mart.
I went and bought 2 nail polishes and some makeup pads and the total came to $30.70.
I only had $30 cash on me so I told the cashier ok take $25 out of my $30 and we will put $5.70 on my card.
After leaving the store about a minute later I came back because I realized I was not given my $5 dollars change. The cashier told her supervisor and so they took the till to be counted.
When the manager came back she started out by saying that before they do an audit she never asks what it's for so she is not biased. She proceeded to say she had it on camera the colour of the bills. I asked her if she could count again and she got upset with me and became very rude to me. I would like you to keep in mind that there were customers around so I felt very embarrassed. She was like this is how today is going to go you are not getting any money from us and if you have a problem call customer service. I proceeded to try to explain myself in a calm manner as I tried to remain respectful despite how she was talking to me. She said I called her a liar when I did not .. she called me one and completely disregarded anything I said. This woman is racist I could tell by how she looked at me and spoke to me. If indeed she had the transaction on camera she would have clearly seen me give the cashier a $20 and a $10 as well as use my debit card. This is not the first incident at that location and I am going to the media. That was completely racial and I knew it in my heart as it was happening. I am going to the news to bring awareness of this issue.
pharmacist
After trying numerous over the counter back pain medication, I explained to the pharmacist the situation and asked for medication that is sold behind the counter. I know he judged me by my look and told me he doesn't have any and that all Shoppers have a back order and walked away without offering any advice. I was shocked at the lack of service and professionalism.
