I went to local Stop n Shop to get some lobsters for New Year's Eve dinner. When I arrived we headed back to the lobster area, there were approx 20 lobsters in the tank so I was happy as I had told my family that I was gonna cook lobster for them. So there was a lady in line so I got in line behind her. There was only 1 person working the counter so I stood there for approx 10 to 15 minutes. Just as the lady in front of me about to be done a different guy walked out with a sign that the lobster are sold out. So I said how can these be sold out there is no one in line in front of me? He said someone called in to reserve and if I wanted to shop around for a half hour or so they may have some left? To say the least I was not at all happy with how this went down... So I said when I got here I should have called while I was in line waiting? He repeated if I want to hang around for a half hour he may have some for me. I left and was not happy (I don't even eat lobster so this was principal at this point. I was walking out and approached the store manager, I explained my service and he stated, well they must have been called in to hold them.. If this is your policy the. You really should consider changing it. I thankfully have other options in my town and will now support them with all my food needs moving forward as well as share this experience with everyone I know... This is a horrible way to handle any business.. If someone else's money is better then mine (or you allow a phone call in to be more important than a customer in the store) to you then you won't get any of mine moving forward.

I was at the Stop & Shop on 22 Kingstown Road, Richmond RI 02898, Store #729. They allowed a gentleman to do his shopping without a mask. I told the store manager and he told me it was just a recommendation for their store. I believe it is a state law in Rhode Island. This should not be allowed. The gentleman was also belligerent using profanity. This is exactly how we won't get this virus under control with managers and employees who are afraid to confront and enforce these rules on patrons.

I just got home and was unpacking my groceries. I wanted to get to the already cooked shrimp (hungry). These are the ones that were on display.
I mixed up cocktail sauce, of which the ingredients I bought from you...bit in to one and they were soft and slimy. I got this after having to go back to the seafood counter because, even after paging someone, no one was there to assist.
I love shopping at your store but this makes me wonder.
I paid $13.88 for the shrimp and want a credit/refund.

Digital coupons on the app
I lost all of my clipped coupons on the app suddenly a couple of days ago. I called to try to fix the problem and they were no help at all. They wanted me to give them the specific coupons that disappeared. How could I possibly know that? there were 50 or more coupons that vanished. I am done shopping at your stores. It seems very dishonest that these coupons all just disappear. There was free items there as well. I will go to shoprite from now on, good riddance.

First of all, I wanted to say that I am a loyal employee for over 10 years and usually shop at stop n shop even though most of the employees and managers are very rude and unprofessional at the Central Ave location in Jersey City. Most of the time I let it go but this specific time yesterday was the worst experience ever shopping at this store. The cashier did not know what she was doing with the coupons so she called a manager without even letting me finish putting the items up. So the manager comes and starts scanning coupons and gets frustrated and says I don't have patience for this to the cashier loudly in front of me. Talk about Poor Customer Service. After the transaction was over I asked the cashier for the Managers name which was Mya. Not sure of the spelling.
Anyways Mya, the Manager at the time yells at me loudly "where are the items" and gave an attitude to top it off. Meanwhile I was still putting the rest of my items up to be scanned. She didn't have no patience and kept talking negatively so I said to her that she needs to have patience working there and that is her job to provide good customer service. She continues to mumble stuff and then looked at the coupon, threw it on the counter and said I can't use it without reading it carefully. I was able to use it but she just didn't want to look into it and was getting frustrated. Please look into it because they she needs better training into helping customers and not talking bad about them especially in their face. She provided poor customer service and that makes the store look bad overall. I don't want to have to not come here anymore because of this. Then she and other employees were saying inappropriate things to defend her without even knowing the issue, so I'm being attacked verbally by the cashier, manager and other nosey co workers. This is not professional at all and the employees need more training on how to give good quality customer service if they care about working there. You can imagine how I felt while I was there. Now I don't know if I want to continue shopping there because I will feel uncomfortable shopping there knowing that they will be talking about it every time they see me. I want to continue shopping there but the employees need a meeting or something on how to treat their customers with respect and have patience while working. Please look into this issue and try to resolve it, because I really don't want to have to shop elsewhere. Again, I am a loyal customer and want to continue to be. Thank you for your time.
Pricing misleading
Yesterday (11/6/20), I shopped at store # 443 in Attleboro, MA and a large display of apples had the signs posted as tote apples as $. 99 ! I checked to see if this was a pound, but all signs were 99 cents. Since that was a great buy I bought two. When I looked at my receipt it cost me over $5 per bag! This was still a good price but I wouldn't have bought two if I had known. Please have these signs corrected. I checked today and was the same. Thank you.#22******5893.

Fish department service
The Stop&Shop store at 1710 Ave Y, Brooklyn, NY 11235 stopped removing scales from the fish they sell. When I asked the lady in the fish department to clean the scales from the salmon I was about to buy, she said she doesn't do that.
