Order placed and paid for on 29 November 2019.Goods indicated as in stock.Received a message to say order dispatched on 30 November to reach me by 4 DEcember 2017.THEN received a message to say will be delivered on 5 December 2017.Nothing further and no delivery.On trying to trace my order and being shunted from pillar to post takelot finally advised they await stock on 6 December.To date 13 December I have received no feedback.I contacted customer care for the umpteenth time today - they blamed the delivery company.On further investigation it appears they have not even provided the product for delivery.This gift is now obsolete and I requested cancellation and a refund but am told I can't cancel as the order is too far along.However it has not moved at all since payment on 29 November 2017.UNACCEPTABLE.WHAT CAN BE DONE.

Trust you are well.
The item was originally suppose to be delivered today the 11th December the date changed to the 12th December.
I ordered from Takealot with the intention it will get here before the 14th December for when the gift is to be handed to the recipient, otherwise I would have ordered from a different supplier. I order from Takealot all year round and every December I order I experience the same issue as today! So why give an expected deliver date change constantly.
This is not acceptable as my gift exchange is happening on the 14th what am I supposed to give the recipients? I Takealot order form? It would then appear that I did not put in enough effort to get the gift here on time which is exactly what Takealot is doing!
I hope my matter will be attended to as urgently.

I was absolutely appauled at the manner of which my sister was treated for accepting my goods from my residential address. I have been ordering from takealot since it was Kalahari and I have NEVER heard of this obsured claim that only the person who ordered the product must be the sole signing individual.
My sister claimed that the driver was incredibly rude to her and the reason why I did not have it delivered to my work address was because the estimated delivery fell into my leave. It just so happened to have arrived earlier. To date, I have never had a problem with Takealot, but this conduct of the delivery was not acceptable!

My order number is [protected] and I have paid the amount in full with credit card.
Two days later I received my order but it was wrong, takealot gave me a 2tb ultra instead of the 3tb ultra.
Of course I logged a return/replacement. My return reference number is : RRN-80be-67b9 it was 2017/12/4
Until this date 2017/12/9 i still have not been able to get my correct product and nobody has come to collect the product . When i checked the tracking status of my return it only shows return concluded ?
No refund no nothing.
Never again will I try takealot.
missing item from my pack, one week later still waiting and child will not receive the gift
I ordered a bunch of goods and received my goods on time only to find there was an item missing. After me phoning around afyer 48 hours I finally get a response saying my replacement order will come 4 days later. It is now the 4th day and only after I contacted your department wad I told my parcel is delayed. This was a gift for a child and thanks to the pathetic service from takealot he will now not get it along with everyone else's gifts.

After placing my the delivery date is scheduled for today, friday the 8th of december 2017. I did not receive an sms for delivery and I called call centre and they confirmed that the parcel will be delivered today after 14h20 I still haven't received an sms and called again to be informed that the parcel will only be delivered on monday the 11th of december 2017. Thanks to takealot I will have to go the a little boy's birthday party empty handed! Keep up the good work of disappointment and poor service delivery!
returns collection delayed day after day after day
Bought two expensive cellphone covers. Received cheap Chinese junk quality covers, so logged return immediately. Every day I get SMS to say collection scheduled, then at end of day, I get collection delayed. The customer experience is disgusting! Contacting them is very difficult - really hope this can be resolved asap please. Reference numbers will be provided on contact.

I am furious with Takealot. I placed an order on the 24th of November. To date I have only received one product from order. I can't track the rest as first of all the system shows that it was delivered in the 30th of November (the one product I did receive was only on the 4th of December). Plus my outstanding product shows not shipped yet but I can't track or cancel as it is loaded as delivered. So basically I am stuck. The only answer I am getting from Takealot is that they are investigating and will provide feedback. My question is when as my order that I am still waiting for is Christmas presents. So should I wait till the new year? They can't give me a date. They can't give me refund but they can give me excuses. I am sorry but this is their mistake, why should I now have to fork out more money to get what I paid and ordered from them. I will never ever use this company again. Oh and their website has no contact number, I had to google it to get one. This is the worst experience I have ever had with online shopping. Please avoid this company at all cost.
stock advertised at half the price to what they are selling on website
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 980 Extreme 4096Mb Graphics Card Being advertised the last couple of days including today for R 4889.00 but on the site it retails for R 8209.00 as unboxed deals with no new stock. I have been comunicating for the last 2 days with customer service but get the company policy as an excuse, the ad remains active even if the price is false meaning you do false advertising. There is nothing on the ad stating while stocks last or quantity available. this is the third day in a row I am trying to buy the product at the advertised rate. I have spent over R40k since last month at your store and feel very disappointed with the level of service I am receiving with regard to the GTX 980 as I feel its fair to buy the product at the advertised price.

To Whomever it may concern
I am really upset with the delivery service. I had placed an order on Monday and was advised that my parcel would be delivered on Wednesday. I waited till 5:30 pm on Wednesday and no delivery came through and then i got a sms saying tgats its delayed.
What i fail to understand is that, on the tracking order i saw that the parcel was at the Bedfordview dc and i work in Bedfordview and i didnt receive my parcel and the item was shipped from Kempton Park.
The frustration is that i ordered a shirt that i wanted to wear at our year end funtion on Friday and if the product was delivered today, i couldve tried and seen that it fits and if it didnt, i couldve still exchanged it for a bigger size. However i cant even do that now, because my delivery was not made in time.
So now what do i do? Im left with no shirt for the year end function.
This is bad service and im not happy.

unethical behavior
On Thursday, 30th of November I placed and confirmed an order of;
1. A russel hobbs sandwich maker (R279.00) and
2. A UV Lamp (R270.00)
This was on a COD basis, I got an e-mail confirming delivery on Saturday the 2nd of December 2017 before 14H00pm.
I knock off at 14H00pm on Saturdays, so when the confirmation said before 14H00pm, I didnt mind.
Two hours after 14H00 I call the customer care number and spoke to a female consultant who advised that she will get someone to call me to give me an update of where the driver might be..
I waited until about 17h00pm where I my phone rang once from [protected], I called back the number and gave them my tracking number, without remorse the guy said "yeah the driver had too any things to deliver", I then said a courtesy call could have been great to apologize and keep me updated. I asked him to check where his driver was and he said the driver was at Monument road, which is two minutes away from the delivery address, I told the guy that I will wait.. One and a half hours later I was still waiting.

I have never ever come across such a service and I will take this same complaint to Hello Peter if it is not resolved by the end of today.

Hi, my takealot order has been delayed for two weeks and each time I contacted them they said i'll Receive it the same day before 5 pm but I never received my item, yesterday I received an sms saying that my item got lost from Mr delivery office, I enquired about refund they said it will take up to two weeks, this is very frustrating and they should give me a big discount for all the frustrations they put me through

I placed an order 18 November, 3 December one of my items got cancelled because they say they dont have stock anymore, 5 December my delivery was not done, 6 December I get told they hope to deliver by the 7th but cannot gaurantee it.

My package [protected] was scheduled for tuesday 28 November. It has been delayed and rescheduled 5 time and yet still no delivery. I phoned your call cengre every single day and spoke to 17 different people and everyone promises to resolve the issue and yet here I am again today with a delayed delivery notification. Surely a package that has been delayed this many time due to your fault should receive priority for delivery the next day.
Can you please get my delivery to me ASAP as I have been patient long enough now.
wrong delivery/exchange confusion
On 27 November, order no [protected] was delivered to my office. It was our box, but the wrong order was in the box. We received some kind of cat toy, instead of receiving 4 x movies and a Nutritech supplement. I signed for the parcel without checking it because I had never received the wrong order before.
We had to log a ticket for every item we didn't receive, but the only option available was to log an exchange ticket for every item.

We returned the parcel with the wrong content when the first exchange was delivered, on 28 November.
After the first drop/collect, I had to explain and fight with every single delivery guy because they wanted to collect an item and deliver the correct item. If you just read your comments on every exchange logged, you would have seen that we didn't receive any of our items in the first place!
This has been the most unpleasant experience we have ever had with Takelot!
Yesterday afternoon, 3 December, we receive a call from Takalot, wanting to know if we had returned the item that was wrongfully delivered to us. Yes we did return it. Check your logs! I cant believe how unorganized you are.
And since when do you not include an invoice with your deliveries anymore?

I placed 2 orders [protected] and [protected] over the weekend 24th and 26th November.
Both orders are missing items and over 2 days after me phoning emailing and asking for updates I am told the warehouse has no stock... sorry for the inconvenience! So I get billed for these items which I need by the weekend and to top it off all these orders were delivered a day or 2 late. What a nightmare.
Poor customer service. Still waiting on a solution and I am in 2 minded if I will continue shopping at takealot with poor service like this. No phone calls... No going out of the way service like you could get in a brick n motar store. Shame on takealot. I won't be spending my money with you guys with this is the way you value your customers. P.s. look at how much I have spent online over the last 3 years at Takealot it in your records. You decide if you want me back! Please do something!

i placed an order this morning at 7h30. normally i would receive an email to say i can collect item within 4 hours. my friend also placed an orfer at about the same time. he got his confirmation after about 5 hours. so i went with him to takealot warehouse. on arrival he signed in and we waited for his name to be called. the estimated time we had to wait was about 5 minutes. we arrived at 12h20. we waited and at 12h55 he eas only called. what bothers me is that people coming in after us waere all helped before him. i think this is highly unacceptable. so i walked with him to the counter to enquire about my package. they checked on my order number and i was told by the lady that nothing has been done yet on my package. she can put it through now then i have to come back in four hours time. i was unable to return again as im going away for the weekend and i needed what i ordered. sp i asked the lady to just refund me and cancek the order i will go get it at canal walk rather. she then informed me i have to call the customer care as she was unable to cancel or refund me. i called customer service and spoke to jared. he informed me that they can not refund me and that the people at the warehouse must do it. i can not believe how you treat your customers. first bad experience ive had since i started buying from you guys even before kalahari and takealot became one. i will never ever order anything from you again and its sad to say as this experience was just horrible.

I've ordered an item #[protected] on black Friday and I was told it was going to be delivered on Monday, on Monday they went to the wrong address and they reschedule and from there it has been a series of reschedule because they lie and say I was not available, this people they don't even call to say they have arrived and even the consultants are very incompetent already I've used more money on calls that I've made, this delivery service it's really a big problem.

The driver could not find my address, and he phoned me 3 times while i was busy on another line and i could not pick up my phone because i am at work. I explained to him how to get here after he dropped the phone in my ear multiple times. When he finally got to my address, he started screaming at me because he phoned me and i did not answer my phone, and that it is unprofessional from my side. My colleagues even thought this was very unprofessional and bad service .
delivery issues and incompetent call center staff
I am experiencing issues with takealot deliveries, last time the driver came and left without informing me. I ended up having to cancel the order and buying what i needed from Checkers.
Yesterday i called the call centre, requesting for them to let the driver know that i leave Sandton at 3pm daily. My order has not arrived still and there has been no correspondence. I called takealot for assistance and all they said was "I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do to help you"
I am disappointed in the service i am receiving from takealot. I will not be buying from them ever again.
