Takealot Fake Versace Blue Jeans Perfume

My wife recently bought me Versace Blue Jeans perfume and received it on the 29/04/2022, I finally used it on 02/05/2022. First thing I noticed was that it did not smell anything like Versace Blue Jeans and that the smell only lasted for about an hour. I explained to my wife that it is definitely fake as I have used it for years and for the time that I was in London. I am not sure where they imported this product from. My wife has now wasted R 500 on a product that is fake and we are not able to return it.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and would appreciate an explanation as to why they do not advertise that the product is not the original.

Takealot Practice hand

I purchased a practice hand on Monday 25 April 2022 and it was said that it would be delivered on 28 April 2022 between 08:00-17:00. It's way passed 17:00 and on the app it says that it has been delivered and I did not receive it, not even a call.

What does that mean now?

Desired outcome: I would like to receive my item and if not a full refund

Takealot Return rejected mrrn-xmg9j-7wbm

Good day. I am very unhappy with the experience I received from Takealot. I bought the [censored] boy Shine bright Duchess silver - I wore the shoes only 1 time. The upper sole came loose. I took it back to the warehouse in Princess crossing - after a couple of days I got rejection feedback and a copy of the return policy - indicating that they do not cover wear & tear or neglect. How can this be due to wear & tear only after I just wore it 1 time. Even after I queried the rejection I was only asked for my delivery address and the sneakers was delivered back to me. Im a loyal customer to Takealot and this is not on. Very unhappy with this service

Takealot Delivery

I have placed an order with takealot on the 30th of March, fully paid...untill today i havent received my order...send several emails, phone calls.

They just say they still busy investigating the case, because the parcel has been handed over to a third party. There is absolutely no contact details of the third party as it is my problem that they using a third party and hence i placed the order with takealot and not fast and furious couries.

Takealot Missing Item and Dishonest Driver

I have been ordering from Takealot for a while and this is the first time I'm experiencing such horrific and pathetic service. I ordered 4 items to a value of R707 , which was COD. The order was scheduled to be delivered on the 6thApril. The delivery guy pitches at my gate at 11.30am and shows me 1 small box and 1 poster brown roll. I immediately questioned the driver to ask (should there not be 4 boxes because i ordered 4 items). He was very rude and arrogant and just drove off without explaining. He rocks up again at 4.30pm and shows me the same small box and poster roll. Saying these are the only 2 items and the products will be all in the small box. He also confirmed that if something is missing I should go back to Takealot and say the item is shorted. I paid the driver the full amount in cash. When I opened the box , only 2 items where inside and the most expensive item on my order (A lego set ) was missing. I have send numerous e-mails to takealot. The investigation was closed because the driver lied and said he delivered 2 boxes. Nobody at the call centre or via e-mail could assist me. I even have the driver coming to my property twice and delivering the package , because I have everything on CCTV camera.

Desired outcome: I want my money back. The driver clearly lost/stole my package.

Takealot Service

I purchased a fast charger, from Takealot in March. I used it probably on two or three occasions. When I tried to remove it from the plug, one of the two-point prongs was left in the socket and I had to cautiously remove it.

I then logged a return and stated that it was defective, the product was collected and a while later. I saw that the return was declined, I thought that there was some sort of error and left it. Until, the courier arrived at my gate delivering the defective charger. I then proceeded to, email and query what had happened. several emails later and I was told that, they had declined my request for a refund, due to user negligence. What? this was surely obsurd! I know how to use a charger! The fact that the person, checking the product could not see that the prong was no longer part of the charger and decided that it was due to my negligence, is in my books incompetent!

I have not made a purchase since, then and frankly will rather do my shopping the old fashioned way again. I have had to send several emails, even requesting that they escalate the matter and wanting to speak to a Manager. I was not given any other explanation. Other that, It was my fault that the charger broke, and that they only sell products with the highest standards. This is NOT true! and I am apauled at the lack of decorum and just common decency to respond to my emails. I received a message stating that they will collect the product today and it states, at the reason section - exception. Not faulty product. But due to my constant baggering they decided to make an exception?! Gosh never again will Takealot get a cent from me. And I will surely be spreading the word.

Desired outcome: I would like the person, who checks the products to get their eyes tested. And the buyers to actually test the products before purchasing. And for Takealot to actually believe their customers!!

Takealot Delivery Service

Terrible Service Delivery. The drivers lie and say they called you for delivery whereby they never even showed up at your house. This has happened to me more than once.

Takealot's delivery service is pathetic

Takealot Order

Ive place a order for a gaming controller on the 10th of April. On the 13th of April i received a measage that my parcel will be delivered before 17:00. So nobody phoned or SMS me that whole day. Only to see on the tracking that their incompetent unschooled driver claimed that i was not available for receiving the parcel. On thursday i received a measage that it was rescheduled for friday 15th April 2022 before 17:00. Now i get a GOD damn measage saying it will be delivered on tuesday 19th April 2022. This is utter incompetence and nonsense and i will never order anything from TAKEALOT ever again and will make sure other people will do the same.

Desired outcome: Want this order for free, because they were waisting my time.

Takealot Mrrn-fmzky-gb57 and mrrn-qa4qe-6axzbe

On the 7 April 2022 Takealot courier picked up 2 Returns from my address. Timberland Boots. I was only refunded for one pair. R2659 is outstanding. Although I've emailed many consultants and provided evidence of the collection, texts mgs confirming both pair of boots had been collected, Takealot won't refund my money. I'm now taking legal action. This is horrible service. We pay upfront large amounts of money to Takealot

Takealot Advertising and product don't match

It seems that Takealot.com is turning into a wish.com.

I recently order and received my 3rd product that was not as advertised.

1st a so-called 1000W 12V to 220V inverter (1000W DC12V to AC220V Power inverter) that ended up to be something straight out of a china shop. It only managed to get to 200V. It was also advertised to have a build-in 12V charger which was not true.

2nd I order a WiFi extension/booster (Wi-Fi Repeater - Mini Design). It was advertised to have 5GHz capability which was also not true. and

3de I ordered an RGB Led strip with Bluetooth, what I received was straight out of a china shop with NO Bluetooth. I attempted to return the product to be replaced by the product ordered. I was contacted by Takealot who claimed they don't have the product (DH - 5M USB LED RGB Strip Lights Bluetooth APP Control) in stock anymore and therefore need to refund me. But the product is still listed on their page. They use this tactic to lure in customers to buy a product and hope they don't want to go through the hassle of returning the stuff.

This borders on fraud and if Takealot.com want to claim it's their suppliers they need to start clamping down and give customers a tool to report these suppliers.

Desired outcome: 1st Takealot.com need to start checking the products they are listing. When buying something online trust key.2nd Takealot.com need to stop defrauding their clients.

I ordered the micro lab on the 31st of March and it was said to be delivered the 5th of April. on the 5th of April @23:13pm it was delivered but Takealot does not work up until then. they are continuously sending people to return the product but i haven't even received it yet. PLEASE i just want my money back!

I’m super disappointed with takealot on my recent purchase, I’ve been using them for a while and been happy with my orders till this recent one . I ordered boots on the 6th of April

I wore them yesterday and they already damaged.

Zero quality for a price that I paid for.

I won’t be purchasing from them ever again

Takealot General bad service, delivery of broken goods, phone go unanswered

hi to whomever reads this, just to serve as a buyer beware. Take alot is useless. I have never bought anything that I have not returned, If the packaging is not lying then the product is always broken. I closed my account almost a month ago now and have lodged an official complaint with the trade and goods peopke. My bother and I went halves on a vacuum cleaner that he bought on his account, Product has been delivered physically broken yet again. What appears to happen is when they are adjusting the packaging they just don't give a [censored] and when they break things they don't put it aside and sort it out but rather just send the broken item out. They are stuffing idiots.In addition they claim there hours are extensive but when phoning and selection the relevant options no one answers, truly useless

Takealot Phone Case Wiz

I am a regular customer of Take a Lot

This is a courteous heads up on Phone Case Wiz which I see is listed.

I ordered a PLT M155 earphone directly from them as this was not listed on your site. What I received is a totally inferior product with scratches and a non responsive synchronising with my device

Although I did not order this via Take a lot , I do believe that you would find endless issues and a negative shift to your great reputation if an customer would order from Phone Case Wiz

If you still insist on not wanting the product, you could then return it for a refund.

This is appalling, to say the least!

It has scratch marks on the back and front

It has black paint stains on the side of the silver.

`the charging port is filthy… filled with grime!

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

It did not even come in a proper box!

This is definitely not what I have ordered.

I do have the same product as advertised on your site 3 years ago with the same specs…. And this what I received today is a far cry from what I saw and ordered

Please revert on when this will be rectified

Takealot I want a refund please, this has gone on long enough.

Hi... In November 2021 my brother purchased a [laser hair removal system with build in cooling system] as a gift for me. I used the laser [exactly as directed] with level 1, over 1 to 2 week basis, this continued on all the levels right through to January, where I experienced that none of the 8 levels made any difference at all. No hair was removed [ facial hair] at all, bzero difference. I then informed my brother & he proceeded in an attempt to return the goods. Emails where sent, phone calls where made... We where both in contact with takealot via mail and telephonically, they just politely refused to take responsibility and told us to take it up with the supplier of this product. Dozens of calls and emails later, I went in to 1 of the outlets, they then explained that the product is non-refundable. In turn I also informed takealot, why should I go to the supplier when we didn't purchase the product from them but, the distributor which is takealot. In my opinion they are selling a product as non-refundable full knowing this product does not work. I feel my brother and I has been scammed, takealot refuses to take responsibility for their actions. How many other people has to go through the same. At this point I don't know what to do, I want my brother to get his money back, this is highly unprofessional. We have done everything we can on our side to be heard, but they refuse to take responsibility, their customer service sucks and they pass the buck from 1 department to another, so we have literally been running in circles while they sit with my brothers hard earned money

Takealot order went missing

order number [protected] 15/02/2022. Ready for collection 16/03/2022.

Went to collect 17/03/2022. Ordered a Glucose meter. Order ready to collect. Went there but the product was missing(miss filed) will be delivered the next day. Have phoned twice to complain and send an complaints email and still waiting? According to websites on my account settings the order was collected? NOT. I have never encounter this bad service with Takelot?

Desired outcome: Just sort it out. Deliver the product or refund me.

Takealot Return application rejected

Hi @TAKEALOT .

I recently bought a laptop on the first of March and it was damaged upon delivery the laptop had physical damage and the screen was detaching , at that time I was not really aware of the return and exchange policy or even the 7 day rule . So I used it as it was for a couple of days because I was a student in need of a device in order to complete and submit my assignments and tests. Then I logged a return and the product was collected on the 14th of March . Today I received an e-mail from Takealot saying that my return application was rejected because of the physical damage and the screen detaching of which that was the state I found the laptop in . The damage was incurred upon delivery but now Takealot thinks I'm lying . When I purchased at Takealot I believed that you are one of the best online store, that is trustworthy and considerate of their customers. To be honest, at this point I'm currently not a happy consumer , I feel betrayed for trusting your services. I humbly ask that you give me my refund or even better give me an exchange of the product .

Desired outcome: Get a refund , I want my money back I no longer want anyyto do with their series
