When I placed my order and made payment I never received an invoice to confirm my order.
I had to contact my bank in order to to get my payment reference and submit to the Takealot agent to resolve my problem.
The payment was tracked and I received notification I will get my parcel the following week.
This morning 12 September 2023 @ 10H29 I received my Parcel which was supposed to be a NEW Redragon CENTROPHORUS2 7200DPI RGB Gaming Mouse - Black BUT I received a USED Mouse, not even close to the one I ordered. The box was already opened and the condition of the mouse is horrific.
I've also attached the pictures.
I've ordered from Takealot before, but I must be honest I will never order again because I had a terrible experience and all the effort and time I had to spend from day one of this order was just ridiculous. I urgently want to know if the mouse will be replaced or will you pay my money back.
Pandora box gaming machine
ordered an Pandora gaming machine from takealot on the 28 of August and it arrived on 31st August 2023, on the 2nd of September I logged a return with in 2 days with the product because of the HDMI cable was damaged.On the 5fth of September the declined my return because of the damage HDMI and the return the product to me on the.i tryed reaching out to them about the matter but they just said it's damaged, then I got a msg asking how was the service, I wrote a bad review about them,then Amy.K called me said I must take pictures of the HDMI and send it to her,so I took out the HDMI and put my own HDMI and log another return on the 8th of September. I received a Gift Voucher from my workplace for R500 for Takealot. I purchased a few items and had to pay the difference of R141.00. I returned the buscuit machine at this was not to my standards and it did not match the review that it displayed on the site. Failed to Deliver Items I Purchased
I received my order form Takealot on Tuesday 5 September with 2 missing items.
In the same order I received 3 items that I did not order.
I phoned them the same day to report this and 15 phone calls and multiple emails I get the response that they would only look at delivering the items I purchased after they had reviewed the items I did not purchase.
How does that make sense?
I paid for something, i did not receive it and you sent met other items now they want to first review the incorrect items before I get what I paid for?
Desired outcome: Deliver the items is paid for.
wrong item delivered
ordered a 6 in 1 derma roller and got a 4 in 1 derma roller, which is cheaper than the one I paid for! had to use it as I had clients booked. when I asked Takealot for the refund of the difference they are being difficult and said I need to return it and then they will decide from there! decide WHAT you sent the wrong item, i had to use it I am doing you a favor by keeping it and now you making my life difficult...

Selling stolen Laptop
I bought a laptop from Takealot in 2022- it broke a few months ago. I took it in for repairs, and it come back that the laptop is reported as stolen. Takealot does not respond to my mails in connection with my refund. I did send the laptop back to Takealot. Till now no response. I will advice anyone to think twice before buying any cell phones or laptops through them.

Wrong address
I placed order last week on my Takealot account. 22nd Aug 2023. I had a few addresses on my Profile due to traveling and staying at a few places the past year.
I'd put in order last week, I deleted all addresses on my Profile and entered new address for my delivery.
Delivery scheduled for Friday, 25th Aug 2023.
I checked again the correct address .
My urgent parcel was delivered to wrong/old address. ! I needed my items because my SAFlight leaves Tuesday.
The girl who received the parcel phoned me the Friday afternoon, just in time to phone Takealot about wrong delivery.
What a bad journey of 2x calls and 2x e-mails with Aeysha, to get her to collect parcel via courier and resend this to my correct address.
She was sitting like a duck on her nest, refusing any problem on their side. No extra mile for the customer. I traveled 60kms to be able to get my parcel in time! Disgusting bad customer service.

I ordered(#[protected]) a product from takealot on Wednesday delivery was for 25 Friday 2023 I had to contact Brackenfell branch spoke to two ladies and both of them gave me a turn around time of 1 hour. The problem is if I am at fault I totally understand , I am not a unreasonable person, but this is the second time they do not show and I am notified that I have to reschedule the courier company MrD courier have a habit of fabricating information related to customers availability to recieve parcels, I have never had this problem with Takealot couriers.
Please asist me with this matter.

Here I am again with a complaint about the pathetic service from takealot it's been 2 weeks and 2 orders that were canceled by takealot due to them saying the supplier has. O stock but which is absolute lies. The supplier has stock, they are canceling orders because they increased their prices of the items... Bunch of thief's... As for the customer service is absolutely pathetic.. I have wasted over R100 of airtime trying to get help and all they say is they have to escalate it. Ice spoken to supervisors who also promise the issue will be rectified but still nothing. I have to wait for a whole new process where they escalate it and log a new order which takes days, then the order gets canceled again.. I mean 2 orders and they canceled it twice in 2 weeks... As for the customer service Facebook team is pathetic. They take hours to respond and when they do they reply with total nonsense and I must wait for their reponse again.. Takealot yorul atr2a bunch of incompetent people.

I ordered a fridge ,couch & sound bar online on the 21July 2023 and got confirmation that delivery will take place on the 31st July.
Then on the 31st July when I checked the status of my order and delivery ,date changed to the 04th August without any communication whatsoever.Later got an email confirming that my order got lost in transit . I had to cancel the fridge as I was moving into my new house.They proposed a new delivery date for the 11th August for the remaining items.During the day on the 11th Aug I had to call and find out the whereabouts of my delivery,they informed me that there was a delay due to late deliveries from the warehouse however on the 14th Aug I will definitely get my stuff.That did not happen until I decided to call again when I noticed that the delivery date has actually changed to now the 25th Aug.Today I received an email informing me that my order has been cancelled due to the warehouse not having the stock available.That’s when I lost it and asked for a refund.
I am very disappointed with the way I have treated as customer and demand some sort of explanation.

Versace dylan blue fragrance
Hi I am Sipho. Bought a versace dylan blue fragrance online for R1,298 on sale from takealot only to find out it was a fake product. How did i find out? I opened it and sprayed it on my hand,it smelled like soap not the dylan blue fragrance that i know. I wrote them an email to tell them about the problem I have with their product and I want to return it. They told me I can't return an open product so it means I lost my money

I placed an order for two items on takealot July 18 2023. I received them both however the one item (tattoo power supply takealot value R699) is faulty. As a professional tattoo artist and my supplier out of stock I can confirm that low voltage while tattooing/ voltage jumping around is not good for quality work. I requested a return and was collected on Monday 07 August 2023. Takealot sent me an SMS two days later to say the process will take 2-3 days. It's been 5 days to date and no communication whatsoever has been made. I now have no item and my money which I used cash as well as a voucher is now all with takealot.
Desired outcome: I don't want any form of compensation for your pathetic service. I want my refund of R448 as well as my voucher of R250 to be recredited.
Delivery
When it comes to delivery ..your drivers give us poor service. They ignore that they have to ask the main customer where to leave the product if they can't get hold of the main customer at the deliver address. This is the second time they leave my products at the third party person without my concern. They never even thought about calling me again to verify if I know the person there left my products at. Poor service and untrained staff drivers .

I sent my laptop in to Takealot for repairs! It was under a one year warranty, now they are claiming it was for 6 months! It was a software glitch, and the SSD card had to be replaced! It was on a time loop,and it kept saying auto repair. Apparently it's a common factor,on Windows 10. They gave me the run around and eventually, they gave me two options! Option 1: Get a full credit or refund. Option 2: Wait for it to be fixed and delivered. I choose option 1. Then after choosing option 1, the next day I get a phone call from their courier service, saying they are on their way, to my house with my laptop! I told them to turn around, and take it back and told them why! I even phoned their call centre agent, and spoke to Bianca and told her my situation and, she agreed it was unfair and they must honour the option they offered me! Then nothing further happened. I contacted them on Facebook. On FB messenger they said I only have 6 months warranty, BUT on their takealot page it's 12 months! They say it's up to the manufacturer discretion to honour the warranty! I said I bought it through you Takealot,and NOT the manufacturer! Takealot is the supplier and they offered me those 2 options, NOT the manufacturer! It's been 10 days, since they have communicated with me on my complaint! They are ignoring me! The way I see it Takealot said it's been, more 21 days and they, offered me those two options. These in my opinion, is a legally binding offer, and they are NOT honouring it, to me as a customer! The last correspondence between myself and Takealot was on the 20th of July! It has now been 18 days and I have not hear a word from them!
