chicken noodle soup
I ordered large chicken noodle soup at approximately 11:45 on 11/21. When I got back to my office, I found that the soup was 99% broth with a few veggies, chicken and noodles. Also I had to get crackers because bread was in the oven. Thinking the order should have been less with crackers. So disappointed - when you need and want chicken soup - disheartening to just get a big carton of broth. At least the crackers gave is some substance.
treatment of staff - 181 toronto rd. location
This complaint is regarding the Tim Horton's location at 181 Toronto Rd. First I want to comment that this location in particular has some wonderful staff. They provided excellent training and from what my child tells me is a great place to work. The complaint I have with this employer is the practice of sending staff home early. It seems to be a game with them. (how many staff can we send home this week? - how much money did this location save in doing this?) My child normally is scheduled to work 20 hours a week. Which includes two weekend shift of 8 hours each. But usually only works 16 hours as is frequently sent home 1 hour early each shift. Now some of you may not think this is a big deal; but in a two week period was not paid 50.00 because of lost shift hours. This practice of sending them home should stop. This 50.00 could have been milk, bread, pasta to feed a child that week. You have no idea of peoples living conditions. If employees are scheduled for 8 hours... Pay them the 8 hours or schedule them differently. If it comes to the bottom dollar how about not giving discounts to employees. This location needs to stop this practice of sending employees home early. I think you would keep your good staff around if you treated them fairly and with respect. You have some great employees at this location.
garden salad
I put my order in Tim Horton (5763) at 1299 Robson St., Vancouver, BC, V6E 2B3 with a Man his name Rascik as Garden Salad then I paid for $3.98, then he answer the phone with the same gloves he put the order on their cashier machine then he pick up the salad from the counter to make my Salad after he take off his gloves and gave to anther girl employee then she put his gloves he was wearing.
Then ask her that not right to change the gloves between each other that not clean.
Then the girl employee told me sorry and change the gloves.
After that the first employee return the told him with Indian language what I told her then the man employee got made at me and start screaming at me by saying you Always ask to much to clean the tables and more I told him this the second time I saw you here for sure I will ask you to clean the table if not clean as I see all tables are not clean.
Did you ask for a supervisor?
service
To whom it may concern but Tim Hortons on North Telegraph Road in Dearborn Heights Michigan has screwed my order up on 10 occasions or more also the Tim Hortons on Michigan Ave and Telegraph Dearborn same thing I'm sure that no one can read or write one at either and this is my third complaint against these locations 9 out of 10 times these locations will not get my drink in the sandwiches are always cold so therefore I never get him anymore
drive thru
I am not a frequent visitor of Tim Hortons. But I went through the drive thru with a friend before work yesterday (11/18/17). I ordered the farmhouse breakfast meal with a Cinnabon ice cap. I have never had an ice cap before so I was excited. However the drive thru attendant did not give me a straw. Without a straw I could not drink the ice cap until I got to work which was about a half an hour and by that time it was mostly melted. This was the Tim Hortons on Tibittwassee Rd in Saginaw, Michigan.
food and service
I live in Mt Forest Ont. I went to Tim Hortons on Nov, 18, 2017 and Nov, 19, 2017.
I buy coffee every morning weekends 6 -630am or weekdays 5 - 530am.
I buy sandwich with my coffee. Well this weekend above date I buy sausage and biscuit NO egg. They charge me 1.79 . It says .99 cents with coffee. I tell lady each date above Manager not in till 7am and no assistant manager, The lady told me no training on prices.
Should be manager or some one in charge there at all times in case of emergency.
Now I want my money back . They overcharged me. Plus they need to be trained in all Tim Hortons NOT TO PUT THEIR HAND ON THE LID WHERE YOU DRINK. Nothing worst when they hand you coffee with their hand over the top of lid.

Issued employee: Candy
Our family was on the way back to Toronto, we need a break and wanted to have a French vanilla. We stopped at the On route, and went to buy a French vanilla in the Timhortons. When I reach the front, the employee(Candy) was just served a white guy and when I reach her, she just saw me but she was started to unscrew the cream bar to change the cream. When she saw me at first she didn't start to open cream and ask a co- worker who was at the sandwich bar to serve me but that employee refused to serve me. I was waited in front of her(Candy's) counter until she get the cream inside refrigerator. But another co-employer served a person who was behind me. I was little rush to take my son next day to school, I politely asked Candy(same employee) to get me a French vanilla since next to my customer is served. She was told me that I am on my middle of work. Then I politely told her ‘'I only need French vanilla which doesn't need cream'' she replied to me immediately " you are rude I can't serve you, asked me to go back to line again as a puppy. How simply can she through such word "rude"? I ask her to say sorry for what she has thrown me. She refused to do so and continue taking customers. Aren't we are customers? We then called manager(Tina), she did not take any action to clarify the situation, and I was waited for a long and long. Manager (Tina) told me that she can't make Canndy(employee) to say sorry. Why she can not? Because I am a brown skin person? If Candy use "rude" to a white guy, will it be the same? will the manager( Tina) let her to serve other customers? Tina was not solve the problem because I am brown skin? Is she racist? Why the employee use the word of rude? I am a professional engineer, when a employee uses rude to me even I was not rude? How can I leave as simple? Employees and the manager insulted us in front of others. We were refused to serve... why ? Because of our skin colour? I need to take this issue to human resource of Timhortons . If I don't hear any reply, I will have to file a motion against Timhortons . I will have to file against racist manager. I will have to file against employee(Candy). All what I need is, Candy has to apologize for what she did. I need reward for the insulting by Timhortons manager and employee.I need justice for why we were not served? I need proper answer. We were insulted by Timhortons employee and manager. We worked in Timhortons and we know that " customers are first!"""". Candy and Tina was keep telling me that she was on middle of work. Suppose if Candy started to mop, if a customer wants a coffee, that customer has to wait till she finish mopping? Tina was telling us that she was not on the scene but how can she tell that employee(Candy) was on the middle of the work? Is she saving her but not customers? I need to get a proper answer from Tina and Candy. We deserve a apologize what Candy and Tina have done to us. Racist should not play at Timhortons !
product
Today was my last lunch at Tim Hortons. My husband gave up on the sandwiches months ago but I still liked the grilled cheese panini.
Not any more. Today it came out cold, uncut, unmelted cheese but the thing that angered me most was that they only use yellow cheese now. At least the white cheese had a little flavour.
Anyway, I am done. Being Canadian I have always loved Timis, but I can live without it and although I love the coffee I do know of another place that has coffee equal to yours.
Cheers
consistent drive thru problem
I have been a long time Tim Horton's patron & have patronized your stores throughout Ontario & Michigan.
I just left your franchise store on Malden Rd., LaSalle, ON. I entered the drive thru at 2:57 pm & left without my order at 3:14 pm., as icy order was lukewarm at best. During my wait, I shut off my car & witnessed a construction truck & trailer almost cause an accident in the drive thru due to "road rage " behaviour because of the excessively long wait.
I am writing, not just because of this afternoon's incident but because approximately 7 out of 10 times the wait at this specific drive thru averages seven (7) to eight (8) minutes. (Yes, I have timed the slow visits as I waited, out of curiosity).
I often park & enter the store for faster service, at which time I usually see four (4) to five (5) young ladies crammed in the service window area in what can only be described as unbridled chaos.
It does not seem to be a staffing problem & can only be attributed to inefficient management. Majority of staff are polite & customer friendly.
The drive thru at other stores, in the Windsor area, never approach the wait times at the Malden Rd. store. For example, there can be twice the number of cars at the Eugenie & Ouellette Aves. location & you are through in minutes.
I have procrastinated in contacting your company but after todays experience, I felt it was long past due. Perhaps a little remedial management training might be in order at the Malden Rd. store.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
K. McMillan
Since you have had a negative experience so many times, you may want to consider no longer visiting the location.

The Washington Court House, OH store seems to be going downhill fast. I believe they have had much turnover and their recent store manager transferred to another store. Not sure if they have a new manager in place but often the drive through speaker is down, the drive through line takes a very long time to get through and then when you finally make it to the window are told they do not have several items or their machines are down and not working. Machines are down a lot. It is beyond frustrating when I take the time to drive from the outskirts of town into town and have to backtrack to get to work, hoping for some great service and food only to encounter the above and much time wasted. I think it is time someone take a serious look at this store location and ensure it is being managed, new machines in place for the ones that keep breaking down and plenty of menu items on hand or else remove them from the menu. I think this is critical because they are losing a lot of business. I have spoken to many who feel the same way. They are losing customers. I personally have decided to stop trying to make a trip there every morning so not to be disappointed and I was one who goes every day and sometimes even twice a day. Additionally, the nearby Krogers store right behind them just recently opened a Starbucks. I am not personally a Starbucks fan but they are going to have a lot of good business since our Tim Hortons is not performing to par. Often they are out of pretzel bagels, and vanilla greek yogurt and the cappacino machine is down often. I would think that they would be sure to track the items they sell most often to ensure proper quantities are ordered. This does not seem to be the case.
Very upset customer...
mistreatment of employees
I currently work at the Tim Hortons at 1405 Kensington Avenue NY 14215. Our old manager got moved to another store and now, we have a new manager . I don't know the managers full name but his first name is Vijay . He is actually the district manager from what I've heard . My complain about him is how he treats employees . We applied for this job promised we would get the hours we need to make sure we are financially stable and all of the team member's hours have been getting cut more and more every week . Vijay's attitude is not nice at all either as he is always arguing with a different team member everyday . Today Vijay asked "who would like to go home ?" And the baker raised his hand so tells me "You can go bake " and I refused since I am a team member, not a baker . Therefore, he sent me home for that . I felt like that is really unfair .
Not resolved
As an hourly employee, management has the right to cut your hours as they see fit. Unfortunately they are not guaranteed so you may want to look for work elsewhere if it continues to happen. In regards to the baking, you could be terminated for refusing to do it (unless there is something legally preventing you from being able to). Even though it is not your title, businesses will often still require you to assist in other areas. It is the nature of food service and retail.
You could try to bring these issues up with a human resources representative or his manager, but it is unlikely that anything will be done. You actually may end up being reprimanded.
customer service/ inappropriate contact
on 11/10/17 after my first inappropriate interaction with the overnight employee who decided to flirt with me and my daughter while we were ordering in the drive thru, then proceeded to wait until we got to the window to ask for our number and if we had plans that night to actually began making our order at one of my favorite tim hortons in buffalo new york at 2595 union road in cheektowaga i called and spoke with a manager, told her his name (Jerome) and described him to her; she at that moment insured that the situation would be resolved and it would never happen again.
Assuming that everything was indeed taken care of my daughter and i went back a few days later to get our usual orders to only be cursed out by the same guy! it was beyond unbelievable and totally embarrassing to be treated like that informant of my child in all my 34 years of living ive never been that customer to feel so disrespected to actually write a complaint.. i can say now that i no longer go to tim hortons for my coffee i go to starbucks. i like to be treated as if my business matters just as must as service given.
I would suggest calling the same manager to report his new behavior. I wouldn't be surprised if he does this to other customers and he clearly needs to be reprimanded more seriously. These incidents are almost never isolated.
horrendous customer service
This morning (approx. 8:45am on Nov 14, 2017) I tried to order a breakfast combo and ten timbits from the Tim Hortons inside Agincourt Mall (#0752).
The store was not busy, in fact there was no lineup. The only cashier available was staring down at the cash register. After being ignored for a long while, I went up to her and she placed my order leisurely without ever looking up.
I did not received the items I paid for in a speedy manner. Instead, the cashier opted to walk around a bit and moved on with other tasks. When I reminded her of my order, she was visibly annoyed and shouted 'WAIT!'.
This is not the first instance of rude customer service at this Tim Hortons (#0752) location. If possible, steer clear of this location - staff is poorly trained and you will be treated as a nuisance.
they took my food but never refunded me
even the workers made a note on their copies of the receipt because I didn't get any of my order right and some stuff was even missing,
I ordered an extreme italien and got two cold cut sandwiches, ordered bacon and received none, ordered 2 chilli (they managed to give me one. I just wasn't given the spoon to eat it) Told me to come up for refund and when I get there couldn't even put it on a gift card told me I had to wait over a week for the owner to get in town . I guess Tim Hortons is the new McDonalds, except McDonald's Canada knows some customer service even if they are slow🙃
And don't tell me to contact the owners because I did. And I don't know what the manager told them but I was offered $7.00 for my refund it just has to be on a gift card. And even brought back the food. I was very polite and used my manners however the owner, who wasn't even in town just told me off on the phone for "creating a scene" when I waited quietly in the corner for the manager ... i still have no money back and they have my fiid
loud electrical sound
There is a loud electrical sound that is ear piercing. It is not pleasant, I almost walked out and brought my business else where. If I hear the noise again, I will walk right out.
Also, the staff informed me they have contacted management about this issue over a week ago, and no one has done anything.
This is completely unacceptable, having their employees work in that sound all day long.
I expect better from Tim Hortons.
donuts selection
Over the past three months my sons and I have been going to your store in old town, maine.
we decided to boycott dunkin donuts because of their poor selection, stale product, and very poor service.
guess what, the service here has gotten worse since you first opened. and as of late the selection of donuts, muffins has gone way down hill. like at three o'clock in the afternoon maybe 10-15 donuts on display.
last week I heard a cashier ask the shift manager
"are we going to be making any more donuts?"
"manager no"
At 3:00 p. m. your not to make any more donuts.
it's becoming a really bad pace to visit.
Sincerly yours

Complain
Today nov 10 2017 around 9:15 I was waiting in the
Drive thur line had someone just drive in front of my car. I did honk but the driver ignored me and placed the order. I was told by the Tim Horton employee she works her. While 10 cars are waiting in the queue this employee so called breaks the queue and the employee working laughs it off by saying with full proudness she works her.
I got the driver's car license plate number CCPD241.
It's so disappointing that employee that work in the drive thru laughed it off by saying the driver works her. Maybe Tim Horton needs to hire mature students or adults. Very sad I will NOT be going to this Tim hortons...
bad language and rude to guests
I was dining in at the Tim Hortons in Bellefontaine and while me and my gf were in there one of the employees were cussing and naming off all of the jobs that she had quit and why she quit there. The job subject wasn't really an issue but the cursing and yelling were uncalled for and was very rude. I have had problems there recently and i will not be returning.
