Tim Hortons faulty cup

My daughter goes to tom Hortons in derby my every single day before work. She got her large coffee and went to work. As she put it on her desk, it split open on the seam and spilled coffee all over her desk. When this happened it not only ruined important paperwork it also burned her leg. I have a picture of the cup and I am furious that this happened. I went to speak to someone and a young girl just laughed and said..."sorry". Unacceptable!

Tim Hortons customer service

I am a long time customer of Tim Hortons in victoria BC. Iam also an R.N. have been for 32yrs. Today I am very disappointed in the staff of the Tims I unfortunately chose to spend my hard earned money at. I was feeling fine when I left work and drove here, as I entered the establishment I had a stomach issue. I went straight to the washroom, deciding to use the single private one instead of stalls. Not one customer knocked or attempted to open the door, I knew I wasn't holding anyone up. Plus there is the stalls in other bathroom. Then a male staff was washing the floors he was banging the doors which is how I knew he was mopping. I could hear him talking and laughing. I had been on the toilet for about 15min. He yells out to me " Hey you ok in there?"" Yes thank you", I replied. " Are you finished what your doing?"
" No, my stomach is sick "
" Oh, well there's a clinic close. Maybe you should go there ."
"Thanks and I'm sorry for taking so long. I don't need to go to a clinic."
" Look I'm trying to be nice, you need to get out of here!"
"Pardon me?!? I'm on the toilet I am unable to get up right now."
"This time I'm being nice, you need to GET OUT !"
I am embarrassed to begin with, then to be treated like that ...I'm mortified!
I'm dressed in clean jeans, t-shirt and coat. I drive a brand new 2016 Kia Rio car. I work 12hr shifts caring for very sick and injured people from all walks of life. I have never and would never treat anyone like that. The comment, I'm being nice...What does that mean?
What is a younger male who is over 6feet and out weighs me going to do to me if I didn't get off the toilet? I felt threatened and intimidated and a little scared that he was going to get keys and come into the washroom.
He does not have a name tag on, iam at the Tims at Saanich Plaza Victoria B.C.
I will be putting in a complaint with the BBB stating exactly what happened, and how it made me feel as a woman alone in a single private washroom.
It's very sad that a person can not use your washroom in the manner it was intended without being harassed, threatened and made to feel scared.
To point out this happened at 11:00a.m. Yes 11:00 in the morning!
I expect a reply of what happened with this employee, and that some action against said person took place. I will ask for his name. He is approx. 20-25yrs old, wears a facial hair in a thick chin strap fashion, is the only employee without a name tag on. I'm pointing at him as he was mopping when I was able to exit the washroom, which was pretty fast even though I was still feeling sick. I purchased a peppermint tea, and sat down to write this.
My email is [protected]@gmail.com

Tim Hortons discrimination

I was fired from my job, because of a work injury. Which the manager failed to report to workers compensation. I went to 3 doctors and each time informed my manager to which she replied if" I can not do my job someone else could". I worked with my injury causing it to become worse. I finally go and see another doctor was told I tore my rotor cuff. Told my manager who got extremely mad and said I would not get compensation for my injury.

Next day I came to work and was fired and the reason I was fired...they had no reason? And I just found out today I will not get workers compensation to help with physiotherapy, because the manager did not report my accident at work...and I have been out of work for 2 months because of this injury... how can I work? I became a liability and as the manger said " I was replaceable"

Tim Hortons roll up the rim

Hello I would just like to say how very disappointed I am with the employees at the Windsor Nova Scotia downtown timmies. I got a coffee today and other days that the cups were already rolled up this time I took a pic of it so obviously rolled up and they rolled it up pretty much all around the cup so it was less obvious. This really upsets me to a point where I don't even want to go and get a coffee from untrustworthy individuals. As far as I am concerned they've takin my chances to win away because the cup before the one I got could have been a big winner but where they already rolled it up someone they knew got it and claimed it. This is unfair and rediculous. I'm keeping the cup and got pic that I would like to show you

Tim Hortons salad

March 9, 2017
1:15 pm
Broad Street, Regina, SK
Tim Hortons

Went in for lunch and asked for a salad with chicken and ranch dressing. I was charged $6.09 for the salad and it did not have chicken on it. The tomatoes and cucumbers inside were sparse. I basically was eating romaine with Caesar dressing (I asked for Ranch dressing).

I am a long time supporter of Tim Hortons and am typically quite please with the customer service and food, however I did not receive appropriate value for my dollar today. I did not realize the mistake until I got back to my office and had no time to go back to the restaurant to seek a resolution. I am asking for a refund on my salad.

Tim Hortons an ongoing customer service issue

Everyday as you walk up to the door your hoping there isn't more than one or two customers in line already or your sure to be in there for more than 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. The store located in the esso gas station in Brampton at Vodden and Kennedy is consistently ridiculous. Today I would have considered my self lucky only 3 in front of me however the women in front of me was obviously thinking the same thing as the manager of the store was lackadaisically wondering and then decided to erase what oane would assume was the previous days goal list on the wall to the side. A this point there were no less than 8 people in line, two girls working the one tail to the right and little miss manager still writing her daily goal on the board. She finally stopped writing and went over to the second till to call the next customer forward at which point the women in front of me decided she was far to annoyed to say nothing and decided to go off on a tangent on the manager taking her order. She was only saying what every single person in line was thinking however this of course caused an even longer wait for the now 10 people waiting. I don't want free stuff, order replacement or even a thank you but what anyone walking into this location would like is the long waits for nothing to stop. Of all the staff working in this location maybe three are decent but most certainly both the managing people are of no use. Please don't take my word but don't waste your time sending hire ups to view the day it would have to be someone who goes in anonymously a few times to get the true times experience at this location. I am officially done with this location and getting close to being done with times all together these days. I truly won't expect this to change but maybe after a few weeks or months I may return and see if anything has changed, won't hold my breath.

Tim Hortons problem with the cup today

I visit the Tim Horton's on west broad street in Columbus Ohio.
Today however, they gave me a cup that busted on the bottom spilling extremely HOT coffee down the front of me. I am OK. But felt someone should know so they can possibly try to check before passing the cup out to the customer. I realize this is a flaw in the cup and that the drive thou is very busy so this stuff might not get caught. I just feel that it is an issue they need to watch for when preparing the coffee. I am now sitting in a wet shirt that I had to wash out in the sink at work. And I have a mess of coffee to clean up in my car. On the flip side this Tim Horton's location has very good customer service! They are always nice and polite. Thanks
T.Young

Tim Hortons hygiene

I just witnessed an employee by the name of Nuran at the Yonge and Davisville location in Toronto moisten her fingers with her tongue to separate the coffee filters, when I mentioned it to her she looked at me like I had 3 heads and went to a different cash. Won't be buying coffee there anymore! Date of incident is March 8th, 2017 approximately 10:45 am

Tim Hortons food safety

I ordered a bagel in the drive threw line. When I got it it was burnt. So I went in side to ask to have it re-made and the cashier took it and toss it out but prior she had helped 2 customers, but when it came to me she took it upon herself to fix my order but she didn't change her gloves, she was on the till. I asked for the manager, she came out and I told her she didn't change her gloves and she handled my food. She spoke to her in filipino the cashier looked back at me with a smirk on her face after the manager said something to her in there language in which I didn't understand and got questioned so I told the manager to keep it, if this is how you treat people. After I left with no lunch I called food services with the city to call in a complaint.

Tim Hortons food

Hi I was very excited that a new Tim Hortons opened up in my town. I live in Rosetown saskatchewan. There are a few issues though. Firstly on Feb 27 I went there at lunch time and an employee with a goatee was putting wedges in the pan with his Bare hands. Everyone else was wearing gloves, so I would presume gloves are the rule. The kitchen is open so you can see them making your food, and it makes a person feel safer if the workers use gloves. Secondly the drive thru really messed up my order on Feb. 28. I tried to order a cinnamon french toast bagel belt. Normally this is very tasty but as it was noon they informed me that I could not have one. I have had them in the afternoon before but that is fine. So I changed my order to a chicken ceasar salad. I received a chicken salad sandwich and a buttered bagel. Now I understand that orders can get confusing in drive thru but, my bagel was mangled and burnt. I would have corrected that at the establishment but the receipt I asked to be put in the bag was also not included. I was very excited to have a Tim Hortons in my town. I hope that future customers will have the service and quality I have known in other Tim Hortons locations.

Tim Hortons parking lot

I travel all summer on Mondays by going to the lake to go fishing. We always stop at the Tim's in Aylmer Ont. Canada on the way back. The parking lot there is always filthy with garbage blowing all over the place and cig butts everywhere on the ground as well. The other days of the week I stop at the Tim's in London at Hamilton Road and Highbury Ave. This is the eat-in location as it is the cleanest parking lot probably in Canada. There is a take-out location across the street as well which is also extremely well kept and clean. I hate Mondays and having to stop in a filthy parking lot. Kudo's to the London locattions for being so clean.

Tim Hortons I am complaining about your food and customer service.

I am a regular at tim horton's because I love the english toffee cappuccino. On monday morning, I entered the tim horton's located on evergreen street in southfield michigan. I ordered the turkey sausage biscuit with egg white combo and asked for a hash brown and english toffee cappuccino. I immediately proceeded to eat my hash brown and oh my god! It was hard as a brick. Only having 10 minutes to get to work, I decided to call tim horton's and for 10 minutes, the line was busy!
Shame on the manager for allowing employees to serve such horrible hash brown. It should be mandatory to check food after so many hours to see if its fit to serve a human being. Also this particular location has horrible customer service as each person doesn't smile, looks like they are mad at the entire world and just plain out not friendly. My complaint may not mean much to you, but believe me, good customer service and not serving overcooked food goes a long way. This is not my first bad experience at tim horton's. My husband and I were sold hard donuts and when we tried to return them the employee would not take them back.
There should be some type of customer service survey provided to customers so that as a franchise, you will maintain a decent reputation because at this point, if its happen to me on more than one occasion, its happen to others.
You can hire me to train good customer service, because believe me, it goes a long way. Most of the time it's just simply showing good manners and respect for people. If not for the people, tim horton's would not be in business.
You can contact me directly at [protected] or [protected]@yahoo. com.

Tim Hortons contest / roll up the rim to win

I bought a coffee to take out at the Tim Horton's in the Cote Vertu shopping center in Ville St Laurent. When I finished my coffee I removed the lid to participate in the Roll Up the Rim to Win contest. Usually the rim is very difficult to roll up, however it was visible that the rim was tampered with. An employee has already verified if the cup was a winner or not. Since the cup indicated "Please Play Again" the cup was not a winner and was put into circulation.

I find this totally dishonest and totally infuriating. Tampering with contest participation material is, in my opinion criminal.

Tim Hortons service

Event happend on febuary 7th 2017. Approx. 3:50 pm. I am an huge tim hortons fan i spend a minimum of 20$ a day everyday and for some reason at a specific location more then others (oshawa ont wentworth st s) I have had an issue almost daily at this location and something needs to be done. The staff there has no adult supervison it seems like and they just do and say whatever they want. I arrived on this day through the drive thru on my way to work. I order an extra large tripple tripple it comes to 2.10 which is correct i pull up to pay i proceed to give a five dollar bill and a dime so i should recieve 3.00$ back. Well i recieve a dollar in the rush i pull away and realize that is not right so i park and enter the store. I go up to cash and see the girl who gave me my change i told her she gave me the wrong change she left without saying a word someone else comes over and i explain everything to her she goes over to her till at the drive thru and now after leaving me waiting for almost 10 minutes i am now late for work and i am constantly seeing emplyees at the drive thru station turning around and peering at me so i knew the girl was complaing. She came back with a recipt and told me that the girl taking my order punched in that i gave her 3.00$ and i said that isnt right all the money i had was a five dollar bill and a dime and she continued to say it again so i said look i am late for work i just want my correct change i come to this location every single daily multiple times a day. Why would i lie. She then proceeded to argue with me saying that the girl taking orders punches in everything correctly and i said i just want my change if you have to go get your manager thats not a problem and then she went to the till got out 3.00$ and dropped it on the counter. Now as an avide customer who goes there daily i felt humiliated infront of a bunch of people and told i was wrong when i wasnt. The other issues i have with the same location is my breakfast sandwich is always constantly wrong so i have to always go in from the drive thru to get it fixed and usually get attitude about it even though its there mistake. On another occasion i just got off work at 11pm and went to get a coffee which is my routine and i come up to the window to pay and there is a female employee complaing very loudly to her co worker saying what the hell why are people coming here so late and was very agitated she was serving customers and working she didnt say anything as i approached the window ( good thing i already knew my total) i gave her my change and she with force gave me my coffee causing me to almost drop it on myself. I felt she was having a bad day so i said hey have a good rest of your night and she replied with you to ####. Now i have been to many tim hortons all over canada and this is alot more common at this particular location its rude and very cold staff who has no customer appreciation or respect at all. I do now feel i have to completly go out of my way just to go to another tim hortons where i wont be treated this way. Absolutely unacceptable!

Tim Hortons unfairly terminated

I have worked at this location for 11 months. I have never been written up, always displaying great leadership, haven't had any problems with any co-workers! I have been an asset to the company, and had this in writing from the owner who a day later fired me!
I have been told me knee injury was an excuse, because I forgotten to bring a note for my being unable to cover me shifts, due to falling on a break, while going home! Which I forgot because my van broke down two days in a row, an due to the stress of the problems, I honestly forgot. However, I do still have a doctor's note!
I have been told my children being ill is an excuse, that my employer is disappointed in me because of these mentioned situations!
However, because I returned a call from the store I worked at, an employee, whom answered the phone, was cursing and saying profanity because it was me on the phone! Her words " It's ####IMG Patsy!
I was shocked because as employee's and as public serving people, we should NEVER do such a thing..
I was very upset, emailed and called my employer, whom didn't return my call until 15 hrs later! Only to say I threatened an employee and I'm fired!
It's really hard to swallow, because I know I'm fired because I stood up to the owners discrimination, and to the person who was completely out of line.
I honestly didn't think, that my asking for her to call me in regards to this other employee, and reporting it, that after 11 months I would be wrongly accused and be fired!
I have been treated unfairly, as have my children! I'm so hurt and shocked.

In addition I must report the wrong doing by my employer. I was made to serve expired food! I was required to change dates on expired yogurts, to open milk that was outdated and use it in coffee! I was also there when she had made an employee pick up and use bread that was on the floor! Not to mention! But there was an employee whom put a dirty female pad that looked like a cloth, on a counter top, which I picked it up! I wasn't upset and reported this, to be told there's nothing that can be done, wash your hands and return to soup and sandwiches!
I was told of another girl who was drawing male parts of customers lids! That she was also seen, taking roll up cups from the store for personal use and for family members.
In addition the Tim Horton's Devon will use expired food and coffee! The ice coffee machines was full of mold and the drive through served it!
I am reporting this because I have wanted to since the beginning! I am embarrassed because I wasn't able to before now! I have expressed many concerns, to supervisors and the store owner! But often the owners would swear and say they don't care! I tried to keep my job and done what was right for the good of Tim Horton's name! But I was fired!
I went to camp as a young girl! It wasn't I most life changing experience! I never imagined that an owner would discriminate a mother for caring over her sick child, whom has bad asthma and that gets sick often when it's the winter months!

Tim Hortons roll up the rim cup with no text under the rim

02-18-2017
I purchased 2 medium coffees at the Tim Horton's restaurant on 368 St. Clair Street in Chatham. As one was a "please play again", the other had no writing under the rim that was legible. It appears as it has been cut off.
Could this be the one that wins the car? As the text is cut off there is no way to know for sure. As seen in the attached photos it is obvious that the print is not legible. As we are loyal Tim Horton's customers, I hope a resolution can keep us as such as the employees, product and service here in Chatham has always been awesome!

Tim Hortons incompetence

I have a Tim Hortons about 3 minutes from my house that myself and my family frequent at the very least 4 times a week. I drink hot tea and without fail everytime I order my tea, I either have to tell them right there or go back because they have given me coffee. This has been going on forever. I have been to many other Tim Hortons all over and have NEVER had a problem with my order. For some reason this site the people are incompetent and cannot grasp the concept of tea. Once I can understand, twice I can maybe overlook but every damn time I order is an inconvenience! I love Tim Hortons but I am ready to call it quits and take my business elsewhere!
