Formal Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Behavior at Tim Hortons
Dear Tim Hortons Head Office,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern over an incident that occurred at one of your establishments, Tim Hortons at 989 harwood Avenue North on 27 August 2023 at 11:20am. I believe it is essential for you to be aware of this incident as it has left me feeling disrespected and wronged as a customer.
Upon my recent visit to Tim Hortons, I ordered a coffee with oat milk. Regrettably, the employee who served me took it upon themselves to make derogatory comments about my choice of coffee and, even more concerning, resorted to body shaming me. This experience left me feeling humiliated and disheartened, as it is both unprofessional and unacceptable for any customer to be treated in such a manner.
I strongly believe in maintaining a positive and respectful environment for all patrons of Tim Hortons. Such incidents not only tarnish the reputation of your establishment but also affect the trust and loyalty that customers like myself have placed in your brand. As a customer who has always enjoyed the quality and service at Tim Hortons, I was deeply hurt by this incident.
In light of this unfortunate event, I kindly request that your team conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. I had a breakdown in the restaurant while everyone saw me crying. The Manager of the restaurant Shazia was present during this incident. The employee name is Jasmine Kaur (store front worker).
It is crucial that appropriate action is taken against the employee responsible for this behavior. Additionally, I urge you to provide proper training and guidance to your employees to ensure that incidents like these do not occur in the future.
Furthermore, I am exploring the possibility of pursuing legal action under Canadian defamation law and slander due to the severity of the comments made against me. I believe it is important to uphold the rights and dignity of customers who are subjected to such mistreatment.
I hope that Tim Hortons takes this matter seriously and addresses it promptly. Your cooperation in resolving this issue would not only restore my confidence in your brand but also showcase your commitment to providing a safe and respectful environment for all customers.
