Truworths payment not received but deducted from my account when paying via speed point.

I paid my account via speed point on the 27/04/2019. The transaction was declined, but I received an incontact message from my bank saying the money was deducted.
I was advised by the Sales Rep (Ivory Oukhumeb), to wait for the reversal before I pay again. I did so. I waited but got not reversal message nor did my bank balance amount increase, this happened on a Saturday. I waited till Monday to see if the reversal will happen. It never did. I phoned the shop on monday to report what has happened. I asked whether it was maybe not deducted on my account, but no. I asked whether end of day balance on saturday was over, but Ivory said no. I asked what can I do... He said I have to bring a statement from my bank and that proof via internet banking was not sufficient.

I was only able to get a statement on the 03/05/2019, because the transaction was not showing on my bank statement yet, and my personal banker said it will only show once truworths banks the transaction.
So on the 03/05/2019. I went to the bank again and it was showing on my statement.
Handed this and receipt into Wendy at truworths and after that I have not received any positive feedback from truworths yet. I got responses like I am still waiting on south- africa, we will let you know. Let me follow up and let you know. It has been more than 2 weeks and this is unacceptable.

Yesterday, 14/05/2019 I phoned Wendy again and she informed me that SA is saying the money was reversed and I have to show a statement again.
I did that and there was still no reversal just a payment showing on my statement. I had to wait again for SA.

and today I was phoned by the creditors department from truworths asking about my payment. This is an insult to me. A loyal customer that has been paying monthly all these years. I am getting embarrassed for your mistake not my mistake.
i have provided proof twice that the money was deducted why am I still waiting ?
Statements cost 20 dollars per page. My fuel, my time my parking payments to go to wernhill shop 00643 every time.

I want to be reimbursed for all of this as well as receive my payment of N$2000.00 back. If not done before end of week I will have to formally charge Truworths Namibia, as this is really nonsense. I have provided proof and I am still waiting. This is not my problem anymore. I have done more than enough.

Truworths exchange

I am laying a complaint against a lady by the name Lelethu who is working at Butteworth branch fingoland mall where i went for an exchange of a lady's wallet with a faulty zip, on the 8th of may 2019 she was very rude to me telling me that wallets are not exchangable to the extent that i just paid the balance on my account and vow not to come and buy anything from truworths again, she is rude, I've never been treated in such manner from any truworths branch I've been to P.E, EL, Jouburg, Durban and Cape town that was my first and hopefully the last. Truworths channel blue 100ml

Bought Chanel Blue Perfume 100ml from Truworths Century City for R2400. Honestly speaking was very puzzled due to the fact that the perfume either is off or a imitation. Called the Truworths Customer Care Center Friday the 26 April 2019. Then was advice by the agent that before a log a complain I first need to consult the branch, then take it from there.

Drove to Canal Walk Saturday morning was assisted by Thandeka the cashier then she called Ntsiki the Supervisor. Then was promised that the matter would be investigated then she promised that by Monday the 29 I will personally receive a call for feedback. Tuesday I called the Customer Call Center for feedback. Was assisted by a Customer Care Agent Nandipha. She asked for my number then she promised that the store manager will give me a call as soon as she returns to the store.

Few minutes later recieved a call from Emy the Floor Manager telling me that the investigation has been done and unfortunately they are not going to refund me or exchange the perfume, I will need to come to the branch to pick up the faulty perfume.

HONESTLY SPEAKING I AM TOTALLY UNHAPPY AND DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF THE WHOLE MATTER.

I HAVE BEEN A TRUWORTHS CUSTOMER FOR SOME TIME AND IT IS THE FIRST TIME I AM NOT HAPPY WITH BOTH THE PRODUCT AND SERVICE RENDERED. TO PAY FOR SIX MONTHS FOR AN IMITATION OR A PRODUCT WHICH IS OFF

Not happy with the outcome of the whole thing. Was treated like dirt as if I do not qualify to be a Truworths client. After waiting for about a month for feedback got a lousy call from Emmy who said my refund application has been declined.

I personally ask for an formal letter from Emmy producing the test results which were performed from the fault perfume but up until today have not received any formal correspondence from Truworts Canal Walk.

The only email I got from Truworths is from Jaco starting exactly what Emmy told me two day after leaving my perfume to be tested by the store.

I never wanted applied for refund. I came to Truworths Canal Walk for two things product and service.

The product is the one I am not happy with, and since I am not a enterprise with resources my word do not make any difference.

The service which was provided to me is for African South Africans. Thanks Truworths but still I would really appreciate is I can be emailed the results of the two test which were done with my product.

Basic service delivery is a right for every Customers.

I'm really dissatisfied and disappointed about the outcome of this whole thing.

Truworths exchange of a clothing item

I bought a skirt about a week or 2 ago(cash) now the size was big so I went to exchange but unfortunately I have lost a receipt...they said they are unable to assist me I must go back with the item..now I want to know if maybe truworths shops are not the same cos some shops do make an effort and exchange...i need an assistance... It is a cash item...

Truworths an injury to my son caused by truworths staff

Good day

I wish to express my fury I experienced at Truworths Canal Walk today. I visited your store and while doing so my son sustained an injury to his foot after one your sharp magnetic tags penetrated my sons foot through his shoe. I do not know what you call these tags but it is usually attached to items to prevent people from stealing it then it is removed at cash point. This was a traumatizing experience to my son. I immediately requested the store manager, while waiting on the manager not one of your staff members came to my assistance and left me have to remove the sharp "nail" from my son's foot. When your manager came to assistance he was apologetic and offered us dettol and a plaster.

Your store manager asked if he could take my details so that we could "resolve" things later but never ended up taking any of my details and this infuriated me even more. I take this matter seriously as this was gross negligence on the part of the store. You should know I intend seeking legal assistance for this negligence.

Truworths capturing my personal info on 3rd party account without my knowledge

Over the past 2 months, I have received 20+ SMS messages from MBD to pay an outstanding amount on my account. After phoning them, I realised that my personal info was captured on a 3rd party account without my knowledge or consent. The account number is [protected]. I phoned MBD 5 times already! to rectify this and every time they promise me that they will remove the number from their records. To this day, it has not been done as I received an SMS again this morning. To make matters worse, they have now started to phone my office number which is unacceptable and a problem for my employer. I insist that this be rectified immediately or I will get legal advice. What happened to protection of personal information, TCF and all the other legislation you want to apply when it suits you? Who is going to pay for all the long distance calls I have to stop this harassment? Sort this out immediately please!

Truworths purchasing a cell phone

I am so hurt, angry with truworths, after being suspected of fraud whereas I'm the owner of the account I purchase at pavilion truworths some of the staff knows me and yet today when I was purchasing a cellphone I get a phone call from my mom asking me where I am she just received a call from Khetiwe from truworths telling her that they suspect a fraudulent purchase on her account, firstly I'm the account holder they phoned my mom twice and they asked her about me, I was so shocked as I was in front of them they had my ID even my bank statement, what I didn't understand was what is it that I did for them to even suspect me of such I asked the manager but she couldn't even give me a straight answer and right here I'm being treated as a fraudster what I want to know is what is it that I did for truworths to treat me like this I have never been a thief nor a fraudster in my life I make purchases at truworths and have never received such treatment just last month I made purchases also but wasn't suspected as a fraudster and today with the cellphone purchase I'm a fraudster don't know if I'll be making any purchases in future will finish paying my account and make sure I close my account with you, thank you very much for treating me like a thief, I don't know why I pay for my account in time it's not even overdue there isn't any amount that is outstanding but a purchase of a cellphone has made me a suspect oh wow truworths.

Truworths poor quality of merchandise

Hi

I purchased a Daniel Hechter top which I have not even worn and placed in washing machine. I washed it in a cold water and after it came out the machine the colors had run and the top is damaged. As I had tried the top on when I purchased this i threw away the slip and therefore I cannot return this

This is not the first purchase I have made of the same brand and this happens. The brand is pricey and I would expect better quality.

This is a lesson learnt for me and I will no longer going forward purchase this brand

Truworths fashion delivery request

On the 26th of Jan, I ordered two of the same items, but different sizes. To date (25th March) I have only received 1 item (on the 4th March) despite paying the R40 delivery fee which ensures delivery to the branch within 7 working days.

I phoned Mimosa truworths after 7 working days to find out where my items were and was kept on hold for 7 minutes. I eventually put the phone down and phoned in again. The person who answered promised to get back to me. Nobody did. After a week or two, I phoned Mimosa Truworthd again. The items had still not yet arrived and had not been charged to my account. The lady on the phone said that I must phone headoffice. I asked if Mimosa Truworths could please phone headoffice and sort it out. It was not my responsibility to sort the problem out with headoffice. Again, nobody bothered to get back to me.

Some time later out of desperation, I phoned headoffice myself, and laid a complaint. I was asked if I still wanted the dresses. I re-ordered the dresses and was told they would both arrive within 5 working days. I eventually got one of the dresses. 2 months down the line, I still don't have the second dress and I've been charged R40.

Its such a pitty, because I have always loved Truworths. The fashion delivery service is shocking. The staff at Mimosa Truworths promised to phone back on two occasions and never did.

I have just phoned Mimosa, to find out where dress number 2 is. Lets see what happens...

Truworths automated messages on landline

On the 19.03.2019 I called in the customer service department and logged a complaint regarding receiving automated messages on my company landline for my staff who have accounts with Truworths. I have been receiving between 5 to 8 messages a day and asked Amanda the agent to remove our landline number as my office is not connected with these accounts, she was not very helpful and her attitude was terrible as well, so much for customer service. She informed me that she will escalate this to her supervisor, whom I asked to speak to and was not directed. This is the second instance that I have called in I have called in a few weeks ago for the same issue and was not assisted evidently. The landline number used is [protected], Please I need this number removed this is really unprofessional to deal with complaints in this manner.

Truworths credit limit

I received an sms that my acc limit as been increased to R4150. I was in the waterfront store on Friday to return something, and the manager called the head office to find out about the increase. I was put on the phone as they needed info from myself, and did affordability check. The guy on the line, said that he would sms the results immediately. I never received any feedback. I called the head office this morning to find out about the increase and they said it was declined.
I cannot understand why not, I have not skipped one payment since having my truworths account. So why send me an sms to increase. I have received previous sms regarding my account and the increase was granted, without me even calling in.
Why now, must I do an affordability check, when I have the account and have never failed to pay my account.
When you open the account you give all your details and affordability is done then. Now when I need the increase in limit as I have two birthdays for April, and would have appreciated the increase. I am very disappointed that it was not granted.
I have never failed to not pay my account. have been a loyal customer and payee.
Very disappointed to say the least. And having a consultant tell me that it was declined on affordability yet I have the account. Check my history on the account.

I yet again get another call from truworths head office informing me that my credit limit has been increase r4 150.00, and can they confirm I am the account holder.
Now they want to do an affordability check. Once done, they tell me that I do not qualify for the increase.
Firstly I never requested the increase in limit, you called me. So how many more times are they going to call, and not give the increase.
Check my account, have never defaulted in payment. Always paying more and before my time.

So why bother to give the increase at all. Please truworths, rather just not call. Previously I have just been granted the increase. Why all the drama now, I have had the account for more than a year.

So tired of all the drama with truworths

Truworths open an online account

To whom this may concern. I have applied online for a Truworths store card and was approved.

I recieved a call from an agents to let me know i can go into any of the outlets and activate my account.

I went to Vangate Mall on the 15/03/2019 with my green barcode ID and the lady that help me just laughed in my face and said "Ja your ID is old and we cant help you"

As a manager of 3 stores and staff under me, if thats how i am being treated and insulted by one of your staff that represent your company brand then i wont proceed with a store card. I will advise my spouse to close her account aswell.

My ID book yes its old, but thats no way to treat a potential client as to what they did.

Well I went to the store today at Mall of Tembisa, the same incident happened... They just told us my ID is old and can't help me... As far as I'm concerned my green ID works perfectly fine at other outlets. I'm completely shuttered at the manner in which your staff can't even treat customers with respect... Are they not trained on ethics?

Truworths clothes not exchanged, due to lost till slip

I went to the store (Earthchild East London Hemmingways mall) to exchange my sons clothes and I have lost the slip dated (24/02/19), but today (28/02/19) was told that I cannot be helped without a slip even though there are tags on the clothes.Its not the first time i'm exchanging items without the till slip but today I was suprised to know that I have to be stuck with the clothes I dont like because I have lost the slip.

Truworths dh wallet

I bought a wallet in on the 24th of november 2018 at truworths in gateway mall but now the wallet is torn. Its hardly 3 months since I bought it. I have logged I complaint on the 5th of february and I was told to bring a slip which I dont have. The only proof of purchase I have is the transaction on my bank statement as I used my bank card. Cay you please assist.

Truworths tried to change debit order date

I contacted truworths customer care today the 13th February 2019 to find out why i am getting sms stating that i owe them a higher amount. I spoke to a lady named beauty she was very rude to me. I asked her if we can move the date and she just cut the call on me. I am a loyal customer to truworths and haven't missed a payment this will go viral

Truworths dolce and gabanna, the one perfume

To whom it may concern,

Trust this mail finds you well.

I purchased and bottle of Dolce and Gabanna perfume (The One) from your The Glen branch on the 2nd Feb 2019 for my daughter

The smell of the perfume doesn't last, even when she sprays on her clothes you cant smell it at all.
I would like to bring it back and get perfume that smells and last, She has used this product before and have never experienced something like this. I cant pay R1499.00 for something you don't benefit from.

We though maybe her skin could be the problem, but even applying on someone else you cant smell it after 10 - 15 min.

Kindly advise the way forward.

Truworths denim dress returner for quality check

I went to carletonville mall store to return a denim dress with quality issues in November it's February no communication about my dress insteàd I'm the one who calls the call c enter the store is useless they say I must wait for complaints department. I am so frustrated, as I thought truworths will treat their customer better than that. Àt first I was treated as lier at the store then the head office don't communicate at all u have to chase them to correct their product, that horrible customer service and every unprofessional.

Truworths damage ring

Good day

I like to complain about the lack of professionalism & service I receive from Truworths Springs Mall. On the 1st of December 2018 I brought a ring 13 day I then realised that the ring is damaged the I return it to the Store. I was the informed the they will send it to quality department they told me the after 2weeks I will receive my ring. Three weeks later I give them a call & I was informed that is was sent to wrong address after I made a call. On the 5th of January 2019 the lady call me & inform me that the ring is back but it cannot be fixed I must come to the store & receive my refund, I drove 500km to the store when I got they she said I should have come with the debit card I used to buy the ring in order for her to do a refund. Angry as I was I ask her why she didn't inform me before & she told me she didn't notice the slip. I drove back home as she fail to give me my refund. I'm very disappointed on the lack of service, respect & professionalism she showed me. I truly regard the day I made business with them & it is for the last time. I just need my money back & cut all connection with them.

Truworths poor customer service

This is probably a futile exercise as I am sure no much will be done through this platform, but anyway. Yesterday, 3 Feb 2019, I went to Truworths Cape Gate to pay my account. Being the first weekend of the month after a very long January one would expect to have all staff manning tills etc. However the queue was about 15 people deep and there were two people manning the tills. I went to the make up section to as the assistant to if I could pay my account she was busy applying HER OWN make-up and did not even look up from the mirror but told me, while looking at her reflection, that she cannot operate the till and all payments need to be made at the main area. She didn't even bother asking if I needed any assistance regarding make-up. I then went to the men's section and the assistant told me she too was not allowed to operate the till. At this point I asked to see the manager and was told it was the managers day off. The supervisor was called and I explained my situation to him, he confirmed that neither of the other departments may use the till. I asked why not and he said it was because the staff weren't trained - well I could clearly see that! I asked him to call the manager at which stage he walked off laughing.

I can not recall once going into Truworths Cape Gate at walking out satisfied with the service.

Truworths worst customer service ever!!! for a client that has been with you for 17 years!

I thought I was a good customer, I am not living near a Truewoths - I made a payment in November, then later in November I was in Upington again, I went to the store in Kalahari Mall, I asked the lady, I already paid my November account I am afraid I will not be near a Truewoths in December, can you do a advance payment, she said yes, let's phone the HQ and let them now, she was on the phone for a couple of minutes, she came back and said she informed them she hopes they understand I must just let them now IF they phone me for a payment in December. Then I was in Upington again in December, I thought I would be a good client and pay my January installment SO THAT I WONT BE BEHIND ON A PAYMENT. now you phone me every day, for the last 4 operators I explained, they said, yes we see this on the system and will correct this, 5 minutes later I get a sms telling me I am behind on my payments. today when the most rude interrupted, wont let you finish your sentence telly-sales operator phones and I explains again, he was so rude so I was be rude back! enough is enough! worst customer service with the worst account structure. I will never again pay a sent more as my original installment and never again advance. I will rather be behind and make you phone 20 times than to be helpful again!
