Mr ST Matsila id number [protected], he has no knowledge of the above account which was opened, he was advised by Truworths Centurion to make an affidavit regarding the fraudulent activities on this account.
Will send the Affidavit in due course, what we need from you is the following as we will be investigating this fraud case.
1. When was this account opened?
2. Please provide the documentation pertaining to this application i.e - contract, id copy, proof of resident and payslip.
3. Activities/history on this account as Mr Matsila could not be provided with the details of the account at Truworths Centurion, yet he is the ‘supposed' account holder.
4. Recorded phone calls of Confirmation of employment, the date it was done and who they spoke to, will get a recording from our company as well.
5. Proof of purchases for the above attached transactions and at which stores, and the signatures on those purchase slips.
6. These purchases were done in Limpopo apparently and in the period that these purchases were made Mr Matsila was in Pretoria.
We are dealing with a case of fraud and would like your urgent assistance in the matter as this is affecting Mr Matsilas' credit record and he will have to account for all this.
This is an inconvenience and negligence from you for not having proper compliance process in place to protect client information from fraud.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

My complaint is about the service I received at the cash desk. The lady did not have a name badge. When I got to the queue she was still at the desk, her colleague who was on the phone had to tell her to serve me. She never greeted but instead carried on with her vernacular conversation to her Male colleague and she never once acknowledged me. She was absolutely cold and with a sour face as if I intruded into her conversation time. I was returning items that didnt dut and she showed no interest no even once took me through the process like every other teller does. As a shopper I do not have to put up with such bad customer service. Very disappointed. Anamika Somera.

The service from the Truworths branch in pavilion is absolutely appalling the manager is unhelpful and has a terrible attitude. After receiving a gift worth over R500 which did not fit I tried to return it for a voucher or for a different size and the manager blatantly refused to help without the gift receipt (which was not given to me). Her attitude was unfriendly and nonchalant. Very disappointing.

My mother and I was at the truworths branch in Claremont today and my mom just wanting to return a pants she bought for R700 was told that we could not return the pants due to their assumption that my mother wore the pants and according to them the pants smelled of washing powder I have never been so ill treated in all my life I feel that what they were doing was utterly disrespectful towards my mother the pants she brought back was to big and we were told by the manager to go the blue route store to go and return the pants where we initially bought it.

I've noticed every month end at truworths kimberley(phakamila mabija street) theres only 2 cashiersm but 4 tills. and whenever you call the manager to ask she's very rude, I went to truworths today and stand in the queue from 09:45-10:30, and they refused to give me head office details, please call your staff to order, this is unacceptable.

I then asked for the store manager(Haley) and told her wat happen. She was rude and arrogant. Good day Sir or Madam
We noticed that every month end, there is only one teller at the till and there is three tills. This problem has been coming on for +- 2 years. We have to stand in the queue for 40 min to a hour. There is staff on the floor, don't know if they not trained to work on the till, but honestly I was frustrated. I confronted one of the staff and asked Is your service always this bad in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape and was told No sir one is on lunch and one at the till. The queue was very very long. The lady that I confronted then proceed to the back of the counter and worked on the till. The top floor where the men's clothing is, also have a counter, but there is no staff at those tills, and We were told to proceed to the bottom, as there is only one queue. That is one problem, the next problem is your staff don't know What is going on in the store or are just plain lazy to look. My wife wanted to buy a tekkie, and We were told by the lady, that the one she is fitting on is the only one available. We said it's fine then We won't take it. I decided to ask another lady, seeing that your staff seems very unhelpful and gives the client a very unhappy face, if she can phone the branch in Port Elizabeth. We also understand that the hours they work is long, but you never show that to a client. She did that for us and the system showed there are three pairs in the Uitenhage store. She then proceeded to the back and got us a new pair . Honestly, I'm thinking of closing my account, because I keep encountering this problem at Truworths, Uitenhage. Many people behind me in the queue was also complaining bitterly. Just think if every person must feel this way and close their account, Truworths, Uitenhage will close down. Your feedback on this matter will be much appreciated.

I bought este lauder colour desert beige and a nice lady phindile at alberton city helped me with a sample before I open my product (as it was on a special) she said I should test it and if I dont like the colour I can always exchange the bought one as it was my first time also buying este lauder and I dont know my colour. She said if that I should just get more samples if I feel that one is a bit dark. When I wens to truworths mall of the south (22/12/2018) they said that they dont have any sample holders & I asked that if I buy small holders can they give me 2 shades of ivory just to test. She was sooo rude going on and on theat she doesnt know what shades there are and what the colours are that I am talking about! She eventually gave me a a little bit but so little as though she didint even want me to have testers! I dont understand the point of the samples if they dont want to provide the public with it as este lauder is quite a expensive product and it lasts a very long time I would like to get the colour right! They were talking in their language making me feel so stupid as to the colours I was looking for and when she gave me the colours (wrote ivory beige on it) it was a soooooo dark you can seee its nit even my skin colour! Making me feel stupid but the people working at the cosmetic sections at truworths have no idea what they are doing or what they are selling and make you feel so stupid because they themselves want to sell a product they know nothing about! I am very disappointed in this service and feel that I have a right to test these colours before committing myself to such an expensive and long lasting product. Do they take these samples for themselves?

I was at your MOS branch to buy shoes for my husband. We tried 5 pairs only to be told they dont have his size. We even resorted to removing a pair from the maniquinn tto no luck of ours. U had 4 other customers looking for sizes while i was sitting and they too left due to no sizes. @ this time of the year to be understocked does not suite truworths well...

To whom it may concern,
I had a gift bought for my daughter from my auntie on her account in Johannesburg as this is where she resides.
The item is to small and I wanted to get a bigger size, however they never had at your N1 City store.
I the thought I would take something to this value as this is usually what other stores suggest when it comes to things like this.
I do have the slip however it was purchased on my aunts account and according to your store staff there is nothing they can do to assist me.
I refuse to accept this as I am sure there is something you can do in a situation like this, I have been working in a customer service environment for the pas 3 years and never in my entire life have I heard or even said to a customer there is nothing I can do to assist you.
I am at a lose for words as I am loosing out as the item is useless to me as its to small for my daughter and this item was not cheap, I await a solution regarding this matter.

My name is kristofina, I lay-by a pair of scandal at truworths wernhil (windhoek-namibia) on the 08.12.2018 and went to pay it off yesterday (10.12.2018). A young man by the name avory (riche), unfortunately he didn't want to give me his last name went to look for my lay-by and came back with my id and receipt and placed it on the counter and said "I can't find your lay-by" and walked away and started assisting another customer. Like seriously, what kind of customer service is that? Am I suppose to go look for my own things is the storeroom? That's exactly the same question I asked him and he didn't even bother respond to my question but rather made a sound (mxiiiim) which I found very offensive... I mean, he was already being rude and still insulted me. Another lady assisted me. When the lady found the lay-by he still refused to help me to pay the full amount... Is this the type of training your employees are given? I mostly shop from truworths as I find your stuff very quality but after yesterday's incident, am reconsidering that. Please speak to your employees and give them good customer training or else you'll end up losing more loyal customer like.

My name is nathi I have been a customer for truworths for years and I have never had a problem with the customer service until today at vaal mall, I went there to buy my wife a samsung galaxy and I have never felt so humiliated before, when we arrived at cellphone department, nobody came to us and give us assistance or acknowledged us we waited until I approach some lady who was about to pass and she pointed us to a lady who was busy with a customer while another colleague of hers was behind her, finally that colleague came to us instead of her greeting her first statement was which phone are you looking for just like that, I responded by greeting her and told her we have been waited for a long time, she ignored my statement and replied which phone are u looking for? That really bored me because its unprofessional, I will never set my foot again in truworths vaal mall the team there didn't give us respect as customers.

I bought a jean at your store when I got home only to find out that the size its small and i lost a receipt, I went to the store to change size i was told that I need to have the proof of purchase to exchange .i want to understand why ist difficult to just swap an item, I dnt want money back just to get right size or get something at the same amount, right now m stucked with your item, tell me wat to do with it then
payment taking long to reflect
I have made a settlement payment into my account on the 11th of this month with the intention to close the account.
until today I am being told that I cannot close the account because the account is not paid irregardless of the fact that I have even sent the proof of payment which clearly states that there is a R0.00 balance outstanding. I will attach the proof of payment again with this complaint.
This is very frustrating considering also that your customer service employees are rude and unwilling to help. It shouldn't take so long to have a payment reflect.

I bought this watch on the 17th November 2018 in Waterfront Bloemfontein with other goods worth about R3800. When I arrived home in Aliwal North I opened my plastic bag to find the watch with cracked screen. I took it to Mthatha Ngebs Mall on the 24th and the manager refused to take it for an exchange. The watch is still intact and was never opened to be worn at all. Im lodging a complaint because I feel this is against your policy as clearly written at the back of the slip. I need to give this watch to my son as a present on the occasion which will be on 30th November. Im uour customer in good standing and I am very much disappointed.

On the 17th November 18 I purchased a skirt at the Truworths at Greenacres shopping center. When I got home i realized the skirt was big when I returned the skirt the following day. The manager wouldn't take it back because they are saying the skirt is stained of which I bought it in that condition. They are saying they can't take something back that they can't sell whereas the skirt was sold to me dirty no one checks when selling to us consumers. Now am sitting with a dirty skirt that i don't want. I'm never setting my foot at any Truworths store. Their service is very poor and they sell dirty clothes and then blame the filth on customers.

Please note approximately 2 months ago I purchased a Daniel Hechter jeans and belt via a complimentary voucher.
I unfortunately do not have the receipts.
The DH metal logo at the back of the jeans has fallen off and left holes in the jeans which now cannot be worn- I only wore these jeans twice.
Yesterday, the reversible belt buckle came of completely which makes the belt unusable.
Collectively these items cost R775-00.
May I please be able to return these items for replacements or a refund.
If not I would have to explore other options.

I bought a dress at truworths located in seshego on the 04th November 2018 and returned it on the 05th November 2018, while I was buying they told me about a discount that which they omitted some information about, I had to return the dress for size exchange, then they told me I can't take another dress because of the discount I had on the 04th, so all they could do is bring back some of the money that is not equal to the dress price, they subtracted R110 from my money, I feel I was unfairly treated.

I bought a phone (Huawei y5 prime 2018) at Truworths Canal Walk on the 9th of October 2018. When I left the store the phone was working, the following day the phone was flat and I charged. I realized that the phone was not charging. I returned the phone on the 11th of October 2018 at Truworths Canal Walk, the cashier took the phone and told me that the phone was faulty by the charging place and it needed to be taken to the MTN Service & repair centre and I will receive the phone after a week. I waited with no response from them all I was told that the repairers was busy did not have time to look at the phone. All that I want is a new phone back.
