I have been with Truworths for years and have always paid my account in time. I slipped up end of June and since then I have been called asking me to pay . I have just been called now again to ask me when am I going to pay the R40. Your system is so bad . I paid the account in full yesterday (R58) .
I would like to close this account due to bad Service.
Every time you send a sms to remind us to pay after we have paid and then say to ignore if you have paid. You are quick to react for a payment of R30.
I will never want anything to do with this company again.

I was in store to settle my account. Clearly asked the cashier to phone head office first to make sure of my balance. Cashier was so irritated and told me to call them myself. Explained to her that i was in store around the 20th july and the consultant clearly asked me to pay in store. The whole thing boiled down to the manager telling her the same thing i did, that she needed to call head office. By the time she called the office was closed resulting in me having to go back the next day! I basically am disgusted at this girls attitude and will refuse to deal with her the next time i go there! The girl with the blonde weave!

I was told to speak to Amplisol and they advised that they do not issue prescription letters, only paid up letters.
Truworths account is prescribed and no longer reflecting on my credit report.
According to the NCR regulations if a debtor has not paid his account in three(3)years or more then the account is Prescribed.

Good day, Im trying to get a Prescription/Closure letter from Truworths since January this year but up until today i get sent back and forth. I was advised that my account was handed over to Amplisol and i need to contact them, when i called Amplisol i was advised that they only issue paid up letters so they are unable to assist me with a prescription letter. account opened fraudulently on my name
I was registering myself on clearscore itc today when I saw that there is a truworths account opened on my name on the 21/07/2019. The transaction made in this account is for r9975. The credit that was given is r10 000. I never opened an account with truworths, this is identity theft. I also confirm that I never lost my id document. I was told by fraud dep to get affidavit and id copy, I did and emailed them to fraud today. I asked also how is it possible that someone can open the account then blow all the credit without fraud dep picking this up. It's worse that I never received any call frm truworths to validate my information or confirm this application. If I didn't do the registration on itc, I wouldn't have known that there is an account fraudulently opened on my name. I need this to be sorted asap because its messing up my credit scoring. My account was handed over to the third part REBINC and I settled my account On June 2019 but if I asked for paid up letter, but I have been told that the query was sent to Client (Trueworth), I have been doing the follow ups but still I have not yet received any information, would please assist me by checking out on my request regarding the paid up letter.

I went into your Cresta Mall branch yesterday 25/07/2019 and saw a beautiful jewellery set of stud earings and necklace, that is themed according to different birth stones. You unfortunately did not have the month of July in stock. I was in a rush so did not have time to wait for the sales assistance to check on her system to see which other store has this in stock. On the same day I went to your South Gate and Killarney branch and no luck. This morning i tried calling your Rosebank store and was told they do not have this product. I called head office and spoke to two people who the first one said she is putting me through to someone who will assist me, the second lady tells me she cannot assist me, if i dont have a item number or CPU number. I called Cresta branch and they tell me that they do not have a CPU number for me, because they do not have the month of July in stock.
How do I go about buying this from you, without having to drive to every joburg based store.
I really need this for this weekend for my daughter's birthday.

Last night I ordered products from what appears to be your company's website. Only to be told today by your employee that it is a scam and that Truworths are aware of this but nothing was placed on the website or on social media(or any media for that matter). (please listen to attached call recording where your employee confirms that the company was aware of the scam).
I will forward all the documentation received from them and hold your company responsible to refund the amount I spend as you did nothing the inform the general public of a scam involving your company name.

I too am a victim of this fraudulent website. Called Truworths at night, recording says only during business hours. Called in the morning, and the staff says that they are aware of this and that I should call my bank as there is nothing that Truworths can do about this. Why doesn't Truworths advertise or make people aware about this fraudulent website. Very disappointing at Truworths about this!

I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding the phone call received on the 20th July 2019 about an advisor named Ayanda. Firstly, she breached security! Also, I requested to speak to a manager which is well in my right. She asked if I am serious and terminated the call?! Pathetic.. Worst customer service received ever! I am an admitted attorney and you can imagine my horror when I pulled my credit record to submit as a clearance check for a position I applied for only to be turned down because of your listing on my profile. In terms of the National Credit Act you are legally obligated to give me 20 days written notice before listing any defaults on my profile - you sent me no notice! I want the default listing removed immediately and someone to contact me regarding the settlement of this account! This listing cost me a job! I placed an order last week Tuesday and there was progress as to how the order is going till today it shows as submitted, I ended up sending an email to check progress the response i got was my order was canceled as they couldn't get hold of me but they have my email address.Online shopping should be made easier but Truworths are failing in that department

I place an online order on 3 July on order number 1523757 and paid for it on the same day. To date I have no idea where my order is and when it will be delivered. I called the call center and they are very vague in their response as to the date it will be delivered. Your website confirms that orders will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days, it is now day 8 and still no knowledge of when I will take delivery. I buy online all the time, the Foschini turn around time is max 3 days which means I will move my business there because clearly they value their customers.
Needless to say I am extremely disappointed in how this order has been handled and the fact that nobody has any idea of when this will be resolved.

I wish to lodge a formal complaint against the manager of your store who was on duty on friday 7th june 2019.
I purchased a dress for my granddaughter on saturday the 1st june. I removed the tags and gave it to my daughter. Baby was approximately 2.5 months at the time of the sale. Size I bought was 6 - 12 months.
When I saw my daughter in the week she advised the dress is to tight and she will get no wear out of it.
I then accompanied her on the 7th to the baby clinic at christian barnard and from there we proceeded to the waterfront with the intention of exchanging the dress for a bigger size and do some shopping.
When I entered the store I was assisted by the sales assistant who advised that she cannot do the exchange as she did not have the mandate. I had to wait on the manager on duty who was currently busy with the guards from fidelity who either collected or dropped off cash at the store.
When the manager finally surfaced from the back office with the guards, I advised her of my intention of the exchange she looked at the dress, looked at me, and advised that she cannot exchange same as she does not know if the item/dress was worn. I reaffirmed to her it was not. She then picked the cotton on a button in front of me and advised that the dress was damaged?
I then indicated to her again that the dress was not worn and she advised it will be difficult to determine whether I bought it like that or if it was damaged after me purchasing same. I was not there for a refund but an exchange which I once again told her. I even produced the original naartjie packet and the original purchase invoice (till slip).
She advised she can send it to head office to peruse and make a decision and it will take however long - by this stage I "switched off" from the conversation as it was clearly futile.
I wish to reiterate at this point this was 6 days after purchase.
I did not want to enter into a debate with her as she clearly made up her mind. I then told her its fine and left the store.
I then returned to work on the monday - 10th june and gave the dress to my colleague to exchange. She then went on saturday 22nd june and succesfully exchanged same - no questions was asked, nothing! Same dress, same till slip, same packaging. I am now in possession of the bigger dress!
I would like answers as to why the exchange was not done in the first instance? Someone needs to explain to me your policies and procedures.
Please note this is not a threat but I will not hesitate to take this matter further on all social media platforms. I am also in the service industry and it is all about treating customers fairly - so please explain to me how was I treated fairly?

Yesterday the 24th of June 2019 at about 16:30 I was at Truworths The Glen at the shoe department. Firstly, I waited for a while to get assistance & the shop was not even full, there was hardly anybody.
Eventually the security came and called someone to assist me.
I was assisted by Vusi Tshabalala to get me the boot that I wanted and when I told him to put the boot inside the box, he refused and told me told to say please, he started shouting me and called back the security to assist me, he shouted.."Come help your customer".
I walked away especially since I was tired & I am 8 months pregnant. I hardly go the the shops lately, but my daughter needed the boot. I ended buying it Woolworths because I was not going to be humiliated like that.
I reported the incident to the Store Manager but I could that she wont do anything.
You should go look at the cameras, that boy is rude, arrogant and abrupt to work at at store. I have never been so humiliated at a store.

COMPLAINT: Truworths (Paarl Mall)
On Sunday-2 June 2019 I bought a Sleeveless puffer jacket (for delivery request) for my wife, who`s birthday is on 12 June 2019. The store assured me that my item will arrive well before my wife`s birthday and so it did as I was informed on 6 June 2019 that my item is ready for collection.
On 7 June 2019 I went to collect my package at the store, and when the cashier opened the package it was not what I ordered (in the package was what appeared to be a woman`s vest). The cashier was as shocked as I was, as this was not what I ordered.
In light of the above my problem is as follows: I told the cashier that I want to cancel this order (and that the store must credit my acc with this amount) as the puffer jacket will not reach me in time for my wife`s birthday on the 12th.
The Manager on duty however informed the cashier that I (the client) must wait until my order is delivered again in order to credit my account. This is unacceptable, as the Manager could have accommodated me in some other way as to credit my account with the same amount or even with a gift voucher.
I bought this item on a 6 month plan, and this item will influence my monthly instalment (something I don't even have).
Furthermore, since 7 June 2019, I did not receive any feedback from the store Manager/s with regard to my refund or even an apology in this regard.
My wife`s birthday was yesterday, and I could not give her desired gift.
Kindly resolve my complaint/issue asap and inform me accordingly on the way forward as this is not good nor average client service, this is really BAD customer service for a leading name brand as Truworths!

harassing phone calls
On 2019-06-05 at approximately 18:00 I received a call from 021-4925117. The lady on the other side asked to speak to me. Without identifying herself she requested my personal info like Identity number. I asked her what this was in connection with. She responded by saying that it was about my Truworths account payment. I asked what payment because my account was up to date. She responded that it was about my current months payment. I told her that I was not overdue to which she agreed but went on to ask me when I was going to make payment. Then she stated the amount due was only due in 2 days time but wanted to know when I would make payment. Is this a new form of staff receiving commission. I do not appreciate being harassed when driving for something that is not overdue. This is not the first time Truworths staff have used deceitful tactics. Two months ago I received a phone call from a cellphone number and the person stating he was Truworths staff and requesting payment. I asked the lady today for her name and particulars which she refused to give but threatened me by saying that other people from Truworths would phone me requesting payment. It seems like Truworths is over staffed and have money to waste on unnecessary phone calls.

I paid my account via speed point on the 27/04/2019. The transaction was declined, but I received an incontact message from my bank saying the money was deducted.
I was advised by the Sales Rep (Ivory Oukhumeb), to wait for the reversal before I pay again. I did so. I waited but got not reversal message nor did my bank balance amount increase, this happened on a Saturday. I waited till Monday to see if the reversal will happen. It never did. I phoned the shop on monday to report what has happened. I asked whether it was maybe not deducted on my account, but no. I asked whether end of day balance on saturday was over, but Ivory said no. I asked what can I do... He said I have to bring a statement from my bank and that proof via internet banking was not sufficient.
I was only able to get a statement on the 03/05/2019, because the transaction was not showing on my bank statement yet, and my personal banker said it will only show once truworths banks the transaction.
So on the 03/05/2019. I went to the bank again and it was showing on my statement.
Handed this and receipt into Wendy at truworths and after that I have not received any positive feedback from truworths yet. I got responses like I am still waiting on south- africa, we will let you know. Let me follow up and let you know. It has been more than 2 weeks and this is unacceptable.
Yesterday, 14/05/2019 I phoned Wendy again and she informed me that SA is saying the money was reversed and I have to show a statement again.
I did that and there was still no reversal just a payment showing on my statement. I had to wait again for SA.
and today I was phoned by the creditors department from truworths asking about my payment. This is an insult to me. A loyal customer that has been paying monthly all these years. I am getting embarrassed for your mistake not my mistake.
i have provided proof twice that the money was deducted why am I still waiting ?
Statements cost 20 dollars per page. My fuel, my time my parking payments to go to wernhill shop 00643 every time.
I want to be reimbursed for all of this as well as receive my payment of N$2000.00 back. If not done before end of week I will have to formally charge Truworths Namibia, as this is really nonsense. I have provided proof and I am still waiting. This is not my problem anymore. I have done more than enough.
