I Have paid my account up a month ago I called and I was told to wait another month until they can take Truworth's of my name it has been over a Month and I still am not in the clear this is reflecting bad on my name and now I cannot apply for any other credit because Truworth's does not Update bureau this is frustrating because I keep Receiving letters that I am in Arrears .
Desired outcome: I want truworth's to update the bureau so it does not reflecct baad on my name
poor service delivery
I was registering for school and this was on one of South Africa's University / College websites - and Truworths Advert shows up and I end up registering to open a clothing account instead of registering, anyways I deleted everything and shut down the entire system with hopes that I my personal details didn't go through to Truworths. I have been requesting call recordings from Truworths due to a customer service failure and the lack of assistance has taken me down this road. I have been emailing for assistance from the 17th of Feb 2023 to get my call recordings and have received very little assistance . The truworths team is now ignoring all emails to provide me with call recordings due to their customer service failure . While requesting call recordings they offered no customer education on the correct team to ask . It took several emails to be told which team to ask . The team sent a non-fillable link for the request with no assistance in how to complete. The lack of support or communication is really bad. It’s April and I had the issue in January. I had to take them to the Ombud to get money back… now all I want is call recordings and I am not getting help

Account payment and rude store manager
On the 8th of March I paid my account in truworths Mitchell's plain using my banking card from capitec. After I swiped my card at the till their slip machine got stucked and they say it usually does that sometimes, but we can go because the money went through. We asked to see the manager she came and she assured us that the account is paid it's just the slip that doesn't come out. After a week we received a call telling the account is arrears, I explained to the call center what happened,which she advised us to go to the shop. I went to the shop and the cashier asked for my bank statement and the copy of my I.D she sent them to H.Q but till today they still calling me for the arrears and the manager for the store doesn't want to help me she becomes rude.
Desired outcome: Sort the errears out I have paid the account you also have cctv in your shop
service i`m complaining about
Hi im complaining about very poor call center agents attitudes and service. i keep on calling each time they have somehow more urgent things to do than mine the last call was 31/03/2023. i went to the store in West Coast Mall Vredenburg we called the agent from the store and was told to come back after 30 min, time went and when we called them again they told me to come back the following day because they were very busy to assist me.
Desired outcome: sort this nonsense out and return my call one day when you not busy. Service stinks.

On the 26th March I bought at your branch at loch Logan bloemfontein very good service on the 27th I went to your branch at mimosa to exchange 2 shirts 1 was to small and the other u could see someone weared it. I went to cashiers and lady called rose helped me. Didn't even greet. I told her that I want to exchange immediate she run to store manager cause my purchase was at loch Logan she came back and say the store manager thabaseng said I can't do exchange at their branch cause I bought it at loch Logan I must go to loch Logan. They won't assist me. I ask to talk to the area manager. While waiting rose tell me I must move she want to help next customer. This customer also had a refund not even a exchange. She immediate assist the customer not even looking if the item is in good condition or not even went to store manager for approval. She gave the customer money back.. why couldn't she assist me is it cause I'm White.. the customer she assisted was African lady. I'm very disappointed. I buy alot from truworths cash not even on account and I buy everymonth from you.. I'm highly disappointed. I need feedback urgent.

Customer service
I went to truworths at trade route mall and I received such bad customer service. Because I had a query that required them to call customer service to confirm they made me wait until they served all the other customers before attending to me. When we questioned the cashier by the name of Thabo Pelo he had such a bad attitude and even rolled his eyes at me. I am truly disappointed and the service I received and once I resolve my query at another branch I will be closing my account! Disgusting and I don't recommend anyone to ever be served by rude people like that. He ruined my day and took my time. He made it seem as if my query was not important and the rest of the people in the line are more important just to finish quickly rather than attending to me. Terrible behavior and bad experience from a customer service perspective.
Desired outcome: I would like a formal apology and the guy to be warned to never behave like this in the future.
Disrespecful staff, swearing and giving the wrong info
I came in to LTD truworths kids in promanade mall for the second time
And the cashier with very short blond hair (African) sent me for a permission slip for buying on my sister's account and she sent me back 3 times and when I came with the letter+ID she got rude and swore at me in her language and said I'm under afae and chased me out of the store

Manager at Truworths Water Front Cape Town
I was never treated as bad as today through the manager of Truworths Cape Town Waterfront.
She did not want to give me her name, but please go and identify who is working on this shift while I'm sending this email.
I wanted to buy part on my account amd the rest cash, I had my physical Id with me to scan + a clearly copy on my phone.
She said she won't authorized that, I said to her she must keep quiet and give me chane to explain. She said to me I just want to buy fraudulent on account, I said to her sweetie, I have money and don't need to buy on account.
She took my id with her and called upon security, While I was waiting for security and my id that she grabbed to be returned I asked lady behind till for me to pay.
I paid almost R6000 clothes and still no lady or security.
Eventually bought perfume cash and the. She returned rudely with my id that she took without my permission, I told her she must leave my id and is not allowed to take it when she grabbed in the beginning.
This lady is behaviour towards me is unacceptable and she wanted to remove with security without me doing anything wrong and accused me of me that want to do fraught.
How do I know that the manager of that store didn't authorized a transaction with my id while she was gone with it.
She didn't want to give her name, But I'm a client that spend R6000 almost and was handled like rubbish.
I want to know what Truworths is going to so about this behaviour or is this the Truworths in Cape Towns style?
I'll be awaiting your reply on this serious behaviour and accusations of the manager of this store.

Products and packaging quality issues

On 8 March I bought a necklace for my fiance's birthday for R320 from Truworths Randfontein and was VERY surprised to suddenly find out that this necklace is now only being shoved in a plastic packet and no longer being neatly packed in a jewelry box. How can you not even provide a jewelry box for a birthday gift over R300? Thats disgusting actually.
And I also bought at the same Truworths on the same day branded sunglasses for R499, only to find out they cannot even give me a cloth to clean the glasses with the glasses box. Is it a joke?
Is this now the bare minimum you can provide for your clients? Or are you extra stingy now? Thats gross I am appalled by the quality I got during my experience. I have been a loyal customer for years and never before have I seen that Truworths can fall so low.

Terrible service
To whom ever this may concern...I'm a loyal customers to the truworths brand and I have logged a complaint leaving the store furious and so dissatisfied on Sunday,long story short I was invited like a fool to the 50 % off sale and visited the parow branch got to the till with a sale over R1900 ready to pay on my account as the cashier is scanning the items she noticed that one of the items (pack of 2 bras) were initially something like R500 and it was marked off for R220,she then told me that I can't have the item for the price of R220 because that sales was on longer on,she then calls her manger and she then tells me that I need to pay something like R290 instead of R220 tears the slip off Infront of me I told both of them,I was not prepared to pay anything more then what I saw on there rails and left the store fuming. The manger was so unprofessional she gave me her name on a piece of paper written Megan and a contact number for head office,by the way she didn't want to disclose truworths complaints email. Which is I have contacted on Sunday explaining what has happened and then got a response that I need to tell them when I will be avail I sent them my entire days lunch and tea breaks for Tuesday and still got no response

No tag on skirt, zip not working
I bought a Indigo utility denim skirt online Order no. o305227047, yesterday went pick up my orders, when I get home trying to fit the skirts the zip in the front not working, no tag on the skirts look like I has been worn and was returned back to the store, I went back to the store in Chris Hani Mall, the store was already close,

Account not removed from errors
I had an account with truworths and was handed to MBD. I settled it in October last year(2022) and they send me a letter to clear it on truworths system.
i took the letter to truworths Mokopane on 15 december 2022,they told me it will clear automatically.
Today is the 03 Feb 2023 still my name is reflecting on truworths system that i owe them.

Tricked into creating account by clicking a link on a job application website
I was tricked into creating an account that I do not want. I was on a job website where I saw a posting for a position at Truworths. I clicked on the link they supplied and it took me to a Truworths website with a big link that just said "apply now". I filled in my details thinking the next step would be to add my resume, when I got the notification that my application for an account was received. The next morning I got notified that I was approved for an account, even though I definitely cannot afford to pay any purchases made on such an account because I need a job. Now I'm getting hounded with emails and SMSs from a company I will never trust again and want less than nothing to do with ever again.
Desired outcome: Cancel my account, delete all my information and never ever contact me again in any format.
Truworths East Rand Mall has bad service
I have truworths account from 2011 I think and I have been using it since ever. Most of the time I buy online due to I don't have time to go to the stores.
I bought 2 dresses online last year late and when I wear wash the first dress I have noticed that the material is poor and when wear the 2nd dress I have noticed that it has stain on it.
On Saturday around 16h00 I took both dresses to truworths east rand mall and I was told that they can't accept them because I bought them in November. I told them that I love the dresses so much, but my challenge is the damage. I was told that they won't assist me, I need to move so that they can call the next customer, otherwise I will stand forever. They continue to call next customer and I end up going home because I stand for more than one hour and leaving those dresses.
The manager and the cashier, the attitude and poor service that they gave me. I don't think I will ever go back to that store anymore I didn't know that I'm going to be a joke for returning damage items. Customers were laughing at me because the manager was rude towards me.

Online order and delivery
Order for three items was placed on the 10th of Dec 22. It is now the 6th of Jan 23 and no delivery has been made. Email agents have not assisted - one says it has to be delivered, another says it will be refunded and then a phone call with an agent on the 5th of Jan 23 said it would be delivered on the 6th of Jan, as they LOST THE one part of the order due to taking it to the wrong address (they delivered part 1 and 2 to the right place)
All I want is a refund. No one is helping me with this. The online store has complaints pouring in and they are doing NOTHING about it.

Girl clothes bought as gift in George Garden Route on 2 Dec 22. Want an exchange. Provided a printed slip of the Original cash bought slip. The slip will be due Monday 2 Jan 23 as 30 days.
Manager in Secunda Mall MP does not want to assist as she demands the original posted slip. The slip will not be in time as we asked for it to be sent via pudo to Sec. Going to be to late for in time 30 days. Second attempt to exchange and she asked for the printed slip 1st time. 2nd time printed slip provided and she refuses as she wants an account. I do not have an account and my family member of 72 years age lives in George and cannot fly over to provide her account! If only and exchange for bigger size why isn't the original printed proof not acceptable?
I did provide the original paid in full no sale and will loose R800 in value for 3 item clothing that my child doesn't fit in and also looses her xmas gift.
I only want to exchange or bigger size and also wanted more items and was willing to pay in extra amount.
This all was refused.
Help as this is unacceptable and the money a lot. Why is the original slip with original codes and proof that is e-mailed from George to MP not acceptable as the original proof is there?
