customer service sucks!
We signed a contract to purchase a television with Aarons, we have made all our payments on same, the bulb in the Television blew out and in contacting them to replace the television they promised it would be replaced over night. 7 days later we have heard different stories by the staff who man the phones, also, they offered no replacement television until a formal complaint was made to head office. Since then the Manager Franklin has been consistently rude and made a point of being less than helpful to us. We have also made a point to mention to everyone we know NOT to rent from Aarons and we will not be using them again! We have NEVER experienced such poor customer service and rude staff.
Aarons in St. Augustine is TERRIBLE. I have met Franklin. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

I experienced the same customer service, so i know how you feel. Franklin is now a general manager. Not sure how he made it to general manager with his poor customer service. I purchased a computer from there that my daughter had dropped and broke. I tried getting a replacement computer and they tried to tell me that i broke the computer on purpose. My computer was about 2 to 3 payments away from being payed off. Why would i drop and break my computer on purpose? I refused to pay the last few payment and Aarons tried suing me for the rest of the money. Very poor customer service!
living room furniture
The furniture I am leaseing is no good .I've not had it 6mos and the local store has already reenforce the lounger, and the coffee table is peeling, and the sofa has springs coming through the fabric and the pillows are flat. I have never been late on my account. I know that even American Freight would have given me a new ste by now but I was enformed that all your staff is trained to re-upholster furniture
before they would look into the factory warranty. If i wanted some inexpensive furniture that is where I would have went. I am paying over $2000.00 dollars for this set . would you be satisfied?

terrible company
I have rented from aarons for two years now. The problems started before my first payment was wven due. I was harassed about making sure it was on time. Then when I was laid off my job I was told they would work with me on the payments, since my stuff was almost paid off. Then my washer quit working and the company refused to fix it because it was outside the city limits.
I was told to bring it in and he would try to get there. I got behind on my payments after a death in the family and decided to return everything until I could get everything squared away. The manager told me he did not want to come pick up my stuff and just see how much I can come up with. I went out of town for the weekend, when I returned home my neighbors told me the aarons truck had sat outside my house for 5 hours. Now they can't come fix it but they can stalk my house all day?
As far as other cities stores my mother rents from an aarons in another state and loves them. I guess the one in amarillo just doesn't know how to be nice and hold up their end.

payyourbills said: "Just pay your bills on time and you won't even need to shop at Aaron's anymore."
This was submitted a few months ago, so I have to ask...
payyourbills, are you STLL an [censor] or were you just being a [censor] that day? Did you even read her complaint?
Virtually everyone else on this board either states their complaint asking for opinions or advice; or posts advice to HELP the original poster. But you felt compelled to kick someone when they were down.
HOW DARE YOU? Just because this customer was laid off her job, you are criticizing her and suggesting she does not pay her bills by choice?
And there are other personal reasons that many good, honest, hard working folks are unable to pay their bills on time these days.
Only one thing worse than being you? Being a member of your family who has to look at your ugly face and share their air with you every day.
Frankly, I like dealing with Aaron's and have purchased several items there, even though I didn't "have to" at the time. My local store offers excellent customer service and worked with me when I experienced an unforeseen financial crisis.
I hope YOU are now unemployed so that your job opens up a position for someone who deserves it, you heartless pig.
Jacky and Guffey, so sorry you both had negative experiences and I do hope things are better for you now!
Mary
I called about their holiday payday. I have not missed one payment in a year and needed to extend my payment to next month and got told that they don't have anything like that. That's not what Iwas told when I got the merchandise. I will never use them again.
Just pay your bills on time and you won't even need to shop at Aaron's anymore.
harrassment and bad customer service
Me and my girlfriend purchased a computer from aarons in june of 08 setting our payments for the 15th of every month and the first month we recieved a phone call saying our payment was late this was approximately the 5th of august. we called the store and they admitted it was a billing mistake and said there would be no more problems in september the same issue arose. finally after the 3rd or 4th month i contacted Sean Hutten who is a district manager. He acted very sorry said he would straighten it out wich i believed he finally did. 1 month passed without a problem and then the phone calls started saying i hadnt made my payment these calls were placed to my work family and friends. Which i could understand if i was late but i never have been. today i recieved a phone call from my grandmother asking why she was recieving threatining call saying they wanted there computer back. We have never missed a payment today is the 11 of april and my payment is not due till the 15th. i have contacted the owners of aarons but it is a weekend and i cannot reach freedom corp or aarons sales and lease by phone so the calls will continue till monday please help me i am at a loss of what to do next.

I have to agree with you on the terrible customer service. We have 4 items leased through aarons, and 1 item already paid for. We was 3 days late but contacted them as to when we would be in. We recieved multiple phone calls in the same day from their employees stating that they havent heard from us and none of the employees noted our account. I found that really unprofessional. They later called my grandmother saying they were going to press charges bc we was late. When we contacted them about the situation no one knew anything about it. (go figure) That was a breech in contract for releasing personal information. A buisiness should be ran on great customer service, and dealing with aarons that is not what we are experiencing. I own a laptop which messed up a couple of times and is currenlty messed up again. We have a 60" tv which is messed up, and a surround sound system which messed up. When they kept my laptop, I did not get a loaner nor a discount for that month, and my fiance had to act rude with them to get a loaner on the surround sound. Seems like they cant and dont stand behind their products! Aarons did really good at first, but once they see they have your buisiness, i believe they quit caring about us as people and the products. When they do fix merchandise, its a temporary fix until you get it paid for, so that you will have to fix it out of your pocket. Its all about money to the company.
just nasty!!
I am a former employee. I was only there for a few days. The main reason i'm no longer there is that they had me cleaning a mattress that was returned for whatever reason. That wasn't the problem, the problem was that there were spots of blood on the mattress. I pointed them out to the gm and he told me to just clean it the best I could. After I was done cleaning he put it back on the floor to resell. That is completely disgusting. Other than that people are just out of their minds to pay the prices they do for this merchandise.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
it is against the law to resell ANY mattress after it is returned. federal law, not local laws.
rude/ unproffessional customer care
I just got off the phone with a customer rep name desmond at the plainfield, new jersey branch, very rude & unprofessional, using slangs like "let me brake it down for you so it won't be broken again." for a minute I thought I was at "renter center" same practice different name, did anybody say class action. So to all consumers in the plainfield, new jersey area buyer/ renter beware!

March 20, I ordered two pairs of 550 Levi jeans in an odd size from WorkingGear.com. The order was confirmed; my credit card was charged $79.98.
Two weeks later, the jeans had not arrived. I called and was told the manufacturer did not make them in the size I wanted. (I found it curious that no one thought to contact me about that. They certainly didn't hesitate to take my money.)
The clerk tried to be helpful and said the 501 jeans came in that size. I said to send them.
When I received them Apr. 19, my husband tried them on and noticed there was no zipper; instead there was a series of buttons.
Today (Apr. 24) I called to try to return them and get my money back. Before I was through with my explanation, the clerk (the original one, as it happens) interrupted me and began yelling at me. I asked if they were no going to accept an responsibility, and the selection of the 501 jeans were made by their clerk, who had not mentioned the buttons. She continued to rant, however, causing me to get quite upset.
I finally asked to speak with her supervisor. she said no one was there but her. I asked if I could call back and talk with them. She wouldn't tell me the supervisor's name at first; finally she gave me a first name. She asked if I wanted to leave a message on her voice mail; I agreed.
After ten minutes on hold (I clocked it), I finally reached the supervisor's voice mail. I left a message for her to contact me. I have since discovered there is no way to reach her directly.
I am very upset with this whole transaction. If the clerk had only been civil with me, I'm sure we could have worked this out.
I do not feel this was my error; instead, I followed the advice given my by their clerk. If she did not know these were not normal jeans, she should not have suggested them.
I checked and on the website, and the picture of these jeans show no indication there are buttons and no zipper. While the description says, "button fly", to me that means there's a button on the fly. There is no mention of multiple buttons.
When I finally wrote the company about this, I received a standard "how to return merchandise" letter. There was no response to my situation. I wrote back and said, "An apology would have been nice for your rude actions." In response, I received the same standard "how to return merchandise" letter.
I will NEVER use these people. There's no excuse for this kind of rudeness.
regenal manager
After three years go by and I go int Aaron's to get a TV and Brian the manger said no to us. over a washer and dryer we returned (We where unhappy with it) witch they never got ahold of us on. Jeramey the regenal Manager called me back and said at first he would let us get the tv if i would go back and deal with Brain the manger in albany. I said no. then Jeramey said then its a no deal and I would never
be able to rent again with Aaron's.. That pissed me off He also told me that I was changing my story. No no. He was just pissed we gave it back.
And you a A__ H___ If this is Jeramey

just to let everyone know, Aaron's Rentals employees are rude even over here in Texas. We got a 62" big screen tv through them and when we moved, they said that it would be alright to take our tv with us. since there is a store locally i just assumed that i could make my payments there. ohhhh...nooooo...i have to make it to the store where i bought the tv which is 2.5 hours away one way. they (the Aaron's rentals "associates") call constantly. sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. i have even been paying over what the initial payment is. they are never ever
satisfied. saturday before last, i had it out with one of the "phone stalkers" i set him straight, i caught them i a lie to my husband on the phone. they apologized and said that it would never happen again. WRONG! come monday, they were at it again. makes me feel like we're the ONLY customers they ever call. They are just sorry and rude. must be a pre-requisite to working at Aaron's Rentals.
unauthorized debit charges
Aarons debited our account twice now unauthorized for a total amount of $292.72. The first time the charge was taken off our account on 1/27 and again on 2/16. These charges were not authorized and on 1/27, the bank did charge us $68.00 in insufficient fund charges due to Aaron taken $$$$ out unauthorized. I decided not to get the money bank as I had...

I am 18 years old. I purchased a washer and dryer from AAron's. We have had the front loading washer and dryer one week. When the delivery men brought the washer and dryer out, one of the wires was pulled from the dryer and afroengineered to work. Now the dryer will not work. I paid cash for this set and now I am told that there is nothing that they can do because I paid cash. Is there someone out there that can help me? [protected]@yahoo.com
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
If you purchased a new set the wires would have had to been installed there at your home as they do not know which plug head you have until you get there, same with most stoves. I would recommend that you have the appliance inspected by a qualified / licensed electrician and ensure that the proper ground is applied, I would also contact the manufacturer of the appliance as it should still be under warranty and from time to time items are shipped unknowingly from the factory with defects.
The Aarons store manager should be able to assist you with the warranty info, if he doesn't ask for his district managers number and let him/her know about the issue
Hope this helps,

customer service is the successs behind most businesses. There are a lot of people who do not go to the news media, or call the jBetter Business Bureau or Consumer complaint. There are so many people that owners of these businesses needed to tell them to have the respect from the clients will get you more sales and business than renting and leasing for ownership, but you want to pick up when it is only appropriate for the business, that is how people function in the street not in business. In hard times there are more competitors. Probably people will look in the papers and computer and find private owners. In other words it would be better for Aarons to have company meetings because from experience I have watch businesses lose clientele at one time because when they learn their legal rights. it will make a huge difference in the treatment of people
They are awful to deal with. The bedroom set I bought from them was cheaply made and scratched. They ignored my complaints and were threatening on the phone. Horrible buisness, I learned my lesson. Buy used or save up to buy from a decent store.
For aaron;s opening all this new stores, they would do best to supply them with merchandise first. I have been waiting to get a complete new bedroom set for one and half months now. I went to one store and the floor manager told me they have full bedding and full bed with the dressers, they would call me when bedding came in[supposely new] they came and went real fast used bed frame [rusty] and used filthy mattres and box springs, now I'm waiting for a tv chest[the one they brought is all damage and knicked up[they say they got it from another store] then it's brand new. Now i just tallked with them again the brand new tv chest will be delivered friday. I won't hold my breath.
I agree with you this is the wort store to deal with. Jeramey the regal manager
calls people a lier. They are just mad that i gave the washer and dryer back one day after it was do.

Just want my couch back is all. I had a sectional delivered w/ Red Ant's somewhere inside bad. It was picked up October 16, 2008 just after making my payment acutally due on 15th. It is now November 19, 2008 and still no couch. They did offer to spray my house but no one has called me and if they did we were not here to catch the call. The thing i am upset about is the fact that i have been w/out my couch for over a month and it hasn't even been ordered yet. They put it back on me and said they were waiting on bug guy (orkin) to contact me which i was suppose to do all the foot work. I am now sick of waiting on bug guy and just want my couch back ant free before thanksgiving and for aaron's main office to stop calling me for there payment as i am suppose to be credited for the month i have been w/out my couch.
Terry the store manager at Aaron's Furniture in Roswell came to my home at 9pm and ask for money/my account was only 10days past due. If this person comes by my home again I will file sexual harassment charges. I am a single mom with children.
that was to late to be commoing to anyones home . call the main office. and pay your bill
pay the bill, !but even then he, should hsve not came to your home that late at night. call the office and set a complaint on him.
Sexual Harrasment? The Only people that do that are people that can't get laid... which is probably why you are single. LOL And the only people that get a field visit are people that don't follow the rules. So that would make you desperate, broke and ignorant!
How about you pay your bill? That sounds like a plan...
illegal business practices
My husband purchased a computer from these idiot's last October. He did a 12 mo. lease. We had to move and after making 10 payments on time only owing 2 payments we had to be late because of the move. They called constantly, left nasty messages, came to the house banging on the door, put some kind of firewall on the computer so we couldn't use it and then decided without my permission since the had a copy of my credit card on file to just go ahead and charge it for the full 2 payments. Not only did this just put me in a horrible financial situation, they did not have my premission at all to use the card, was never notified that they did so and to make things worse I am not even listed on my husbands account! The only reason they had my card number is because I had used it a couple of times to make a payment which means they kept the information from my card! These people are dangerous, thieving, criminals and have no concious what so ever. So if you don't want to pay twice what something is worth and then have your personal financial information stolen from you, stay far away from Aaron's.

I'm thinking you probably moved far away from the store and they found out. After tracking you down, you refused payment or were still obstinate. Probably didn't have a good phone number for you? Your credit card was used to make your payment. Oh my God. A little late were ya? Try some self-exploration for those feelings. Thiefs, it takes one to know one.
Rent-a-center does the same thing. they charge taxes three or four times for the product. here is how they do it, let say a tv rent for 19.95 a week, they charge you that plus taxes, then they add their insurance on the merchandise and charge you tax on the amount then, they add all up together and charge you more taxes .
fraud and lies
I rent a 52 inch JVC from the aarons in Fullerton, CA. They are very argumentative and they lie. They claim they have been to my house when they clearly haven't. I work from home so i would know if anyone has come by especially since i have a dog and the dog would bark. They have very bad customer service. I am ready to give the tv back because i am tired of their condescending attitude. I've been late a few times on payments and they call and are very rude. They claim they left a note which i did not receive and when i call them on it i get some lame excuse that it blew away.

I rented a laptop from them online withholding the 25$ down well I didn't know that was false advertising my bad on my part but any how an extra friend of mine borrowed money from my husband and I and instead of repaying us back he went up to Aaron's and wrote a check for my item I was unaware of this because I was dealing with my 12 year old son in the hospital for having meningitis on the brain well I get a call from my ex friends brother saying that Aaron's is pressing charges on me. So I call the store and tell me of this situation that I had no control of and ordered me to pay off this check in 5 days or else I go to jail well shortly after that my husband was arrested for an unrelated situation. I went to.visit him on the second day when I get home I have mail from Aaron's stating proof of ownership but 2 weeks later I'm arrested for this I need legal help please call me @ [protected]
I'm only 2 weeks late and owe 375 but they came to my house the other day saying I have to pay them 620 dollars. I asked them where did they get that number from. The guy said I have to pay part of next month as well. I'm a disabled veteran and only get paid once a month and I had some things come up. Ive been a customer with them for over a year and a half and I don't know how they can get away with some of the stuff they do. I told them I would pay them as soon as I get paid and they said ok and left my house. Well they must've thought that was yesterday because they've called my fiancee non stop today. My phones been broken and cant make calls because of the microphone and yet I told them that and they still try and call me and I can't leave the house because my fiancee works during the day. And there is suppose to be a grace period after the due date. And yet we are only 2 weeks late and they are trying to charge us for part of next month. The only reason why I haven't gone down there is because I know they can be rude and condensending and they do lie. I tried to email corporate and when I went to submit my complaint is said the action couldn't be completed because the website was either moved or taken down. These people are making a killer profit and yet they say they will work with you on whatever type of situation you're in but yet harass you when you are late. As much as I hate places like aarons and rent a center I use them to try and rebuild my credit but I'd be damned if they will belittle me. I think it's best that we start just saving our money up and buying things out right at an actual Store and find another alternative to rebuilding your credit. Most banks offer secured credit cards which is actually better.
Since 2008 I've been employed steady full-time until last September 2010, when my full-time position went to 24 hrs a week. I've been a customer of Aaron's for 2 years now and have paid off a sectional sofa, 2 laptops, coffee table/2 end tables, rug and dining room table. PRIOR TO my job being downsized, I signed contracts for a 60" and 42" tvs, 3rd laptop and full bedroom suite. My sons (20 and 22) are in the Marine Corps and utilized the two paid in full laptops and my daughter (17) and I utilize the 3rd latop. Five months after my job was downsized, I had to file Chapter 13 Bankruptcy because I was drowning financially. Aaron's came at me for EVERYTHING, demanding that I pay off what I owed them immediately, which of course I couldn't do or they'd pick up the murchandise. My attorney said to refer them to him, but they refused to speak to him and, instead, kept calling me with rude comments, threatening to pick everything up, etc. Yes, I had been struggling to pay them after the job downsized, but they received full payment by the end of each month. I found the name and # of the NW Regional Manager and left him a voicemail. After a week not hearing back, I called again, left a 2nd voicemail telling him he had 24 hrs to call me or I'd file a complaint with the BBB. A half hour later he called me. I stated my concerns about threats and rudeness and he said he'd look into it. Next day I received a call from the store manager saying as a courtesy, they were taking $243 off of my bill for that month. That was nice, but the damage had been done. Today, I received a letter in the mail from Aaron's stating, "Having customers like you is one main reason that Aaron's takes so much pride in their work. We would like to...offer you a 50% discount off your first montly payment on any new lease agreement." The address label on the envelope had my name and under that read, DO NOT MAIL! BANKRUPTCY! then my address was listed. I feel soooo humiliated! They are so incompetent at Aaron's . . . if I could do it all over again, I would NOT have given them my business!
I am a customer at aarons sales and lease in the Lancaster South Carolina area. I have been a customer with them since April of this year. I was threated by them and on 11/14/08 I was yell at by the store manager and kicked out the store, when I went into pay my payment and voice a complaint about an nasty phone call my pregnant girlfriend receive from one of the store employees. When I ask him if he wanted her to come in and tell him what happen. He told her to shut up and we were kicked out the store.
awful company and cust. service
I went to the one in J Clyde Morris Blvd. in newport news, va. I wanted to rent a sofa, bed and a dinning table. I'm a consultant. My current situation allows me to stay here for 3 months or more (don't have exact end date). So, I need the flexibility to return the furniture anytime after the 3rd month. So, I need a shorter contract. My apartment complex Rep. advised me to go to Aaron's at J Clyde Morris Blvd. I went there and they only had 2 dining sets & 1 bed to choose from.
I liked a sofa that I wanted to rent. The lady said they only rent it out for minimum 12 months. Later, she started giving me advice on how I should stay in Corporate apartments around my work. Her attitude was very unprofessional! It was weird!

cheat and steal
Aarons should have signs on their buildings saying Aarons cheat and steal. Not Aarons sales and lease ownership. The general managers are only concerned with their bonus not the customer. After being a long time customer of Aarons with several paid out contracts I had a heart attack and open heart surgery.
THIS PUT ME OUT OF WORK FOR A PERIOD OF SEVERAL MONTHS.
I have a car loan with one of the major banks so my credit was not bad Aarons was quick and easy so I would deal with them.
After being released from the hospital the Bank with a car loan of over $20000. Gave me a 120 day extension to get well enough to work then resume payments. Aarons refused and took me to court to recover the furniture. Three of the contracts with them had only 5 payments to go for ownership. They say lifetime renewal. Bull They refused and want the furniture. It’s must be some there wants my furniture so they want it back WITH ONLY 5 PAYMENTS TO GO.
Aarons is composed of thieves’ not real people. They have no feelings for people the United States Senate and house have bill that have been stalled by the rent to own industry to prevent the change of laws to protect the consumer. Everyone who reads this should write there senators and representatives and push them to think of the people they represent and get the legislation passed that was proposed to change the way rent to own companies do business.
Aarons charges you for a service plan and charges tax on this you do not pay taxes on service. This is put on all contracts without a option to refuse this. This is a form of interest they charge and cover this up as a service agreement the consumer has no rights when you do business with Aarons. I did business with the Snellville Location in Georgia. GOING TO COURT IN Georgia is a waste as the courts are there to protect Georgia companies not the citizens of the state. If there is an attorney with Balls out there look at these violations of title 15 and state USURY LAWS FOR THESE TYPES OF COMPANIES. Several states have found these contracts are sales contracts the Courts in Georgia refuse to look at the decisions of other states As Aarons is a Georgia company therefore protected. The Governors consumers’ protection group with the state attorney general will do nothing as this is again a Ga. Company therefore protected under the good o boy plan. I contacted several civil contract attorneys who declined to represent me as they did not want to ruffle the feathers of this company who did so much for the people of Ga. Well I am one of the people of Georgia. What about Me.

I've been with Aaron s for several years .my bill is due on the first of nov i called the store on the first of nov.to give them my credit card info.and informed the store on not to run my card until 4:00 that afternoon.becuase the funds would not be there until then.this was at 9:46 that morning.as soon as we were off the phone they ran my card which resulted to a 30.00 dollar overdraft fee at my bank .this month i paid my bill online.now they have called me several times a day to say my online bill didn't show my entire bil and that amount is 5.00 dollars what they should be calling me for is to give me credit for overdrafting my account.
I recently called Value City to see if my product was in, and nobody would assist my question. I was placed on several times, ect.
Its a simple concept. You only have about 30 days before Aaron's will start demanding return of merchandise. They actually are more fair than their competitors in seeing you get to ownership. They have a few more tools to work with, however, keep in mind that it is a lease and not a credit purchase.
There is a general manager in that store who is being paid based on store profit. You don't pay, it counts against his store numbers in several ways: uncollected revenue, past due percentages, charge off percentages (after 60 days), and the cost of the legal filings that he will do.
And by the way, you were told at the very beginning that there is NO grace period and that you must return the merchandise if your lease is allowed to expire. Sad that you had a heart attack, but why do you have a sense of entitlement and expect others to share your misfortune? That is a large part of what is wrong with America today. One more thing, the lifetime reinstatement plan is designed for those who return their merchandise and abide by the lease agreement, not those who disregard it. You don't use a lifetime reinstatement after having kept the merchandise without paying for several months.
Do the right thing and abide by the lease agreement that you signed, after all, you were probably only too happy to have them bring the merchandise to you with no credit check and little money down.
repairs on appliance
I have been dealing with Aarons since 2007. I rented a Maytag washer and dryer from them, in March of 2008 I had problems with my washer I called Aarons in Pittsfield, MA so the could repair my washer it took them 2 months to fix my washer. Shortly after that my dryer broke down and had to be fixed once again I called Aarons to have the dryer repaired and my dryer was fixed within 2 to 3 weeks. After they repaired my dryer it broke down again with the same problem, I called Aarons right away to get my dryer repaired again. Since then I haved called the store twice and I have been up to the store and talked to the manager James and he said he would have it fixed, I am stilled waiting. I have also called the district manager about this problem and I am still waiting for a call back from him and guess what I am still waiting for my dryer to be repaired. I have made my monthly payments to them while waiting for my dryer to be repaired. Also I moved from one home to another and Aarons moved my washer and dryer for me that was a huge mistake on my part. When the moved my washer and dryer the put a huge scratch and quite a few small scratchs on my washer, I brought this to the managers attention and asked him what he could do about it and nothing has been done about this problem either. I will never rent to own anything from Aarons again nor will I sent or advise anyone to go to Aarons to rent to own anything. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.

Over the past 2 years, I signed contracts for a sectional sofa, 2 end tables, coffee table and laptop, all of which are all now paid in full. I then began contracts for a rug, air conditioner 2 [additional] laptops, 60" flat screen, 42" flat screen and a full bedroom suite. Over the past year, I've been struggling with a health issue which requires me to take several strict/potent prescription medications daily. Between the illness and medications, I pretty much stay dizzy, often confused and have great difficulty with short-term memory loss. In September 2010, my full-time job was downsized to to 24 hours per week. Yet, I was still carrying a payment of nearly $700 with Aaron's. Somehow, I did manage to pay off the air conditioner and a 2nd laptop. However, my daughter recently brought to my attention, that even though I've paid off approx $200 worth of merchandise/contract, my payments have remained right at $700 per month. I NEED HELP! If anyone can assist me with information on who I can talk to about this, please contact me via email mizzd44@msn.com Folks, be careful, I've dealt with multiple issues with Aaron's from disrespect to them keeping my credit card. Thanks for reading...good luck!
Regarding credit cards, I usually pay with my credit card over the phone. However, about 6 months ago, I went into the store to discuss and make payment. I used my bank check card to pay. I was feeling well and running a high fever that day, so I sat down while he did his calculations as I had several accounts. After about 15 minutes, he called me up, gave me my receipt and thanked me for coming in. I left. However, two days later, I went into my wallet to pay for groceries and the card wasn't there. My daughter and I searched everywhere, even backtracking to see where I may have used it...AARON'S! I called Aaron's and was told by one of the managers, "No, we don't have your card." I called my banking establishment and canceled the card and reordered a different one. The missing card remained a mystery for 3 months...after this time, I stopped in the store once again to make my payment in person, as I was standing at the register waiting, I noticed several credit cards just laying there, one of them was from the same banking establishment as mine...I asked the manager who was helping me - which happened to be the same manager who took my payment the last time 3 months earlier - if that was my card...he acted as though he didn't know what I was talking about. I pointed to the card and he said "oooooo, those...yeah, people leave things here all the time. Most often we don't know who things belong to." I picked up the card and it WAS mine! I was so upset! I stated that I'd called asking about it and was told Aaron's didn't have it! He apologized. I didn't even know how to respond.
