sim card
I bought a phone Huawei Y5 lite and SIM card at Ackerman's on the 06/09/2019. I told the lady that helped that I want to port from cell c to Vodacom using the SIM card that comes with the phone, and she said that I will be able to do so. I tried to do so without luck. I then called Vodacom so they can assist and they said that the SIM card is already active and I will not be able to port. I want to use the SIM that came with phone because I want the benefits that comes with it, please help.
bra sizes

I am a plus size women from Vryheid in the Northern Natal. I always buy my underwears at Ackerman's but recently I bought a bra set but they do not fit me. It's one particular set because the other one fits. The specifications are the same I should suspect it's a quality problem I find this so painful because the bras are not cheap and can not be returned. May this issue be addressed because it's unfair on Customers.
negligence of my account
I opened my account about 3 months ago and i eft my outstanding balance and both times Ackermans call me to say my account is overdue although i pay in before my payment is due and i pay more than the amount due now it is almost end of the month and they have not fixed my account I emailed proof of payment 3 times and nothing has been done a consultant called me still nothing was done!

In a sense whereby she is demanding the money from me because it's 4 months now . I try to explain to her but I'm looking for a job for the past months now and that I lost my job in May 2018 but still payed up and till 4 months now. I were not rude to here, I also explain to her yes I have a bad credit record now but I can not go and steal or rob and get a criminal record aswell just to please her and Ackermann's

The cashier her name koketso needs more training on how to treat customers I gave her a voucher and cash and said the balance I will pay by card she kept saying my card is declined after I showed her I have mo ey in my account she still said declined then the supervisor came and showed her she never scaned the voucher she was rude to my kids and very disrespectful to me banging the pen on counter and threw my slips on the counter I dont understand why cashier koketso cant smile and cant greet her customers if she doesnt like her job or dont know how to do it she must gife the job to somebody that will appreciate the job she is very rude and incompetent. Hope u will sort her attitude out.

Hello the name of a cashier is mateme as I was standing at the que she called the person behind me to come and pay. Ok they told the lady was there before me ok I understood still after they finished assisting her mateme called another person instead of me when I ask her she gave me bad bad attitude. Mananger stanley baloyi tried to ask what was happening i'm a new account holder of ackermans but the treatment I got from mateme the cashier i'm not happy at all I ask myself that mateme with that attitude how come she's working at retail. having difficulty in swopping for right size slippers.
We purchased a pare of boys morning slippers actually two pares on Friday 09th of August.
One pare size was to small and was only fitted at home once after purchase.
After returning it on Monday to swop we where advised that there where no label atached.
After having the original till slip as proof the second time around the condition of the merchandise was questioned this time.
The store manager advised me to leave the slippers for an inspection by the area manager.
We dont have time for this up and down manner way that we are treated.
PLEASE let me know what the outcome is it seemed to me the storemanager was not realy eager in assisting us.
IF it is found that the same attitude would come from the area manager.
Keep the slippers and the money we would shop somewhere else in future.

My name is Mangenda Mwa Ndata Tshiyombo born on the 07-August-1988. I am so disappointed that some Ackemans store like the one in Mall of Africa having bad feelings or attitudes against foreign customers. Ackermans is a store that need customers and the owners of the store don't even know what is happening. I am working as an office administrator and have provided all the proof and have met the requirement for opening an account at Ackermans. The people who are working at the store had some attitude but eventually they gave me the form to fill and after filling in the form, they had to scan the form through to Ackermans customer service for new account application but unfortunately they had a problem because i am a Congolese born even though i have a south African identity. when i tried to follow up on the application, I was shocked when they told me by ackermans customer service that the form was missing information and i had to go back to fill another form and after submitting the second form, i was again shocked when Ackermans customer service told me that they only received a portion of the application form. I wonder if people who are working at Ackermans stores mall of Africa are working again foreign customer or what? a customer is a customer despite his or her origin and i think it is stupid to push a customers away for something they are not going to pay for. This is ridiculous and stupid. Till now, I am still waiting for approval of my application. I am ready to confirm this. my contact number is [protected]

needle in baby clothes
On the 2nd of August 2019 i went to ackermans in Elspark to buy my 15month old some new summer clothes. I bought a R1000 worth. On Sunday the 4th i was very happy to dress her all sassy for her cousins birthday at an indoor play area. My Child was screaming and unhappy! Not herself at all. Cone home to undress her looked like a major rash under her right arm only. Come to find there is a piece of NEEDLE sewn into her little shirt thats been scratching her the entire day! What a miserable day. I would like to know what ackermans would respond to this as i am about to go to every social media page! Imagine how that little body felt. Since birth i always buy at ackermans!

I went to ackermans letsoho mall today to collect a lay-by. I did not know that the lay-by had expired as it was not done by me but my husband. He had told me that today was the last day so i went there and a cashier called Celiwe was to assist me. I showed her the sms we had received from ackermans stating that the 17th of july 2019 was the last day to make payment. Celiwe did not bother to read the sms instead asked for the slip and i gave it to her. Her response was 'kanti why do people let their lay-bys expire' which was absolutely rude as she was not saying that to me but her collegue. She then says 'tell the person who made this lay-by to come and refund it. Ok but the sms states the 17th is the last day...she says 'you should have been here when the store opened and not after that!' She was so so rude she even decided to ignore me and called other customers. Never have i been so humiliated and ill-treated... Should such people not be dealt with accordingly i will proceed to take action because i never want to receive such treatment again from the same person as i am a regular shopper at ackermans letsoho mall. For me to lodge this complaint it is because it was not the first time she was this rude to us.

old cell phone
My husband bought a cellphone on the 01/07/2019 at ackermans Kakamas...on the 02/07/2019 i discovered that the phone he had bought was an old phone, as it had pictures from 2018 on it. On the 03/07/2019 I went to the the store to return the phone, I was told by the manager that i need to contact MTN with regards to the matter, she also said that she can log a call and send it in for repairs. I was very furious, so i left the store with the phone. I called cust care, spoke to a lady by the name of Shanice who said that the query dept will contact me within 48hrs. Nothing happened after 48hrs.
Can someone please tell me how to get help on this matter.

Today on 1st july at at 16:46 as I stood in the que for almost an hour, the cashier called me on till no 6, cashier :70919 I asked him to make a split payment using card and cash and as I produce my card he said they don't swipe sassa cards, as I was trying to understand I asked why don't they write a message at least and put it somewhere so we can see as we cannot stand on the que for an hour and then be told that my card is not allowed on their machine the guy replied by saying there was no need to do that as sassa cards comes once per month not everyday that they receive this type of cards, wow... As I pulled myself together I just laughed but I was so disappointed because he clearly didn't value my purchase, I think this guy really need training on customer service and the influence of nett profit, I would like to continue to buy at your store but please train your people and equip them with good attitude towards customers and it doesn't matter how much I spend because every cent count!

I went to exchange and item which I bought for my son and did not fit him. I got into the entrance the Lady Security was not there so I went in and chose the New Items. I finished choosing the I joined the queue for payment. I was called by a Lady on the till with Braids and I proceeded to her counter, and greeted her respectfully in Zulu. She replied back and I told he what I wanted to do. She the spoke to the Cashier who was next to her an African Guy and said in Sotho 'this thing of exchanges is really irritating I want someone who is paying not exchanges. I kept quiet pretended as if I did not hear her. She the with an attitude asked for a slip, I then opened the packet which was in front of her and I pulled out the slip. she then said to me loudly with and attitude " I said I want and slip not this thing" she then threw my slip across the counter and it fell on the floor. I then said to her but this is the receipt that was given to me when I bought the items, she then started going around the counter and she picked up the slip. she did not even apologies for her behaviour. the funny thing is her Manager Precious was behind her and she did not intervene . That Lady is not suppose to be working in tills and helping people. She is Rude, ill mannered and Does not have respect for Human kind. Please do something about her. My question is..why paste the msg written in front of the cashier whilst they can write something at the door so that you dont have stand in queu nd the funny thing is their able to make laybes bt no taking outs they didnt evn show remorse when i asked why?

On 29 May 2019 at more or less 19h10 / 19h15, I called the store to enquire if they had a certain clothing item.
The lady that answered had told another lady "there is customer on the phone enquiring about a certain clothing item". And hence to say, that was that.
I waited close to half an hour on the phone and all the while I was holding on (in the hopes that someone would answer and assist), I could the cashiers and customers having conversations. No one bothered about the phone call at all (at my expense, might I add).
I then put the phone down, and though I would try again but guess what, the phone was engaged the entire time and could not get through.
Which then costed me to get in my car and have to go the store.
I am totally DISGUSTED with the telephone service I received.

prices on till slips incorrect!
I am so disgusted in Ackermans as a retailer.. I went to Ackermans Canal walk last night and out of the 6 items that I bought 3 of the prices were incorrect and rang up incorrectly! I was so [protected]@$$3d off! My sister and I went to Ackermans and she also had 2 items prices that were incorrect..
We were in a hurry so never checked our till slip in the store which by the way SHOULDN'T BE NECESSARY! Only last night before going to bed I actually realized that the R500 odd that I paid was too much for the things I bought so I checked the till slip and saw that I was overcharged with THREE ITEMS out of the 6 that I bought.. You can be so lucky I only checked my slip after 23:00 if the store was still open I would've gone in to the store and it would not have been a pretty sore especially with the way I felt last night when I saw i was overcharged!
Who do you all think you are to do this to you customers? This is ridiculous and so UNCALLED FOR! This is horrible service and the cashier had NO CUSTOMER etiquette AT ALL! He shouldn't be there..
Who's going to pay my petrol money to go back to the store and for my parking and who's going to do something about this? I am not one to complain or go to social media but 1st I was irritated with the cashier and a manager or supervisor was standing behind him also ALSO this is NOT THE FIRST TIME i have been overcharged at Ackermans!
