I moved to Casper, WY 43 years ago. What is now Albertson's Osco Pharmacy is the only pharmacy my entire family and I have used in these 43 years. That's about to change, and it saddens me.
According to the Good Rx site, and their customer service, the store on CY Ave welcomes Good Rx. I've read, carefully, the terms on Good Rx [as an aside I am also sending a similar complaint to Good Rx] and it clearly states that while I cannot combine the Good Rx coupon with my Medicare D, I can use the Good Rx in lieu of the Medicare D. I tried to do that today and was told by your pharmacist (?), Jessica, that Osco has forbidden them to take Good Rx in lieu of Medicare D. I asked why that was. She said that Medicare has refused to reimburse the Osco Pharmacy at that location for ANY Medicare D Rx's IF Osco accepts the Good Rx in lieu of the Medicare D. According to Medicare, to the best of the customer service reps knowledge, that was not the case.
While I was at the pharmacy I was going to call Good Rx, as they instruct that the customer do if there is a problem, but I was told, by Jessica, that it didn't matter what the Good Rx rep said she had to follow Osco's policy and she would not accept the Good Rx coupon. I am disabled. Getting to Osco once to pick up a Rx is very difficult for me. Making a second trip would have been a serious hardship. I paid $123+ for my medication through Medicare D vs $21.70 that I could have paid with Good Rx. That $100 was desperately needed by me, but so was the medication.
I called Good Rx and they said that Osco (Albertson's) has a contract with Good Rx stating they will not combine Medicare D and the Good Rx coupon (I was not trying to do that) but they will accept the Good Rx coupon in lieu of Medicare D. Good Rx's rep, Matt, called the CY Osco and was told I would not be reimbursed.
My question is...which contract is Osco violating? Is it their contract with Medicare D or with Good Rx because Osco can't have an agreement with both and then not honor one on their whim.
The Good Rx rep offered to call and check the other pharmacies in my area that will accept my Good Rx coupons and then I can switch all of my families medications to that pharmacy in the future.
I want to be fair. I am asking both Osco and Good Rx to explain this matter to me before I do anything.

organic produce
Hello, We are glad Albertsons is carrying organic produce and hope you increase your organic produce and other organic grocery item inventories. However the amount of plastic packaging of your products, especially organic produce, is excessive. We are all becoming more aware how plastic manufacture and disposal increases environmental problems from climate change to resource usage, clogging land fills and harming natural systems, aquatic organisms and other wildlife. Excessive packaging of organic produce is even more of a concern because part of the reason to buy organic is to support the environment with less chemical dependent farming practices. Please figure out how to reduce or eliminate plastic and other packaging in your products. The key is to reduce packaging no matter what the packaging material is.
cart attendant
Your cart attendant at the Craig and tenaya store is dangerous. He has made numerous threats towards our children on different occasions. He was pushing the carts extremely fast through the parking lot and after almost hitting our daughter made a gesture towards her and told us that she needed to be put on a leash. This is the last time we will be going to this store, which is unfortunate because we really like most of the employees.
Supervise your daughter and this won't be an issue. If your daughter got hurt because you were not watching her you would be suing them. Your daughter is in a parking lot. Not a playground and should not be allowed to run around unsupervised.
fish quality at new broadway store
I have had two out of two mediocre to bad experiences with the seafood from the new broadway store. The first was a low end purchase of rockfish. It was old. And tasted like it. Ok, I get that it is a low end purchase, but should still be a good example of what it is. The second was just today. I bought wild, fresh king salmon. It didn't have the best color, being somewhat grey rather than deep red. Unfortunately, it tasted like that. This was $30.00 a pound fish. I've had farmed with better fats. Please, please get your act together. We need you, but I will not support substandard product

I walked into thee store to purchase $3400.00 of gift cards / visa with valid credit card and id, I was treated like im a thief. The manager was only selling me $ 1000 and said to come back tomm. Of all the times I go to other stores I have never been miss treated. I purchased the $1000 since i was already in the store. I asked if she culd staples the recipt for me to the prepard credit cards, she was extremenly rude with that, i felt like she was trying to push me away and sale me the gift cards / credit cards. She handed me my receipt with a coupon that prints, I dropped the coupon back on the counter i did not need the couon, she wronfully accused me of throwing my trash, i told her i did not, i dont need the coupon. I argued back due to her extremely poor customer service. I was to a point that i asked for my monery back and refund the cards. I no longer wanted to give the store my business. i asked her for corporate number she would not give it to me. She said to call tomm. Every manager as a professional one and representing the store name should be professional and should know corporate phone number. She started sayong i was threatening her, based on what she started to play the role, it was so unprofessional. what is this racist, beacuse i have an acent she said i was threatening her. I am a big business man with multiple businesses and we do not treat our customers that way.
Your manager kicked me out of the store, i can not be kicked out of the tsore for no reason. You can not kick me out of the store, as i did not see the sign posted that you have right to refuse service to anyone. That is a violation of the law.
Maybe your store discriminated againt me. As you manager should be trained on how to treat all customers with respect. As always said customers ae always right and treated with respect. this manager is terrible with her customer service.

monopoly tickets
Today I used several monopoly tickets that had either free or cents off prizes. The clerk scanned the bar codes on the tickets at the end of the check out. He didn't mention that he charged me for two items that were suppose to be free. I didn't catch it right away and had to take my receipt back and got a refund. Why doesn't you register throw up a red flag that indicates the customer did not purchase the free item?
One item was Crest toothpaste. The manager said the "Scope" might not have been covered by the free ticket although I think it was the same price and size as other varieties of Crest. The ticket only says the size and "assorted varieties"
The other item was Signature frozen vegetables. I couldn't find the 12 oz size indicated on the ticket so I bought a 14 oz size thinking the clerk would let me know the free ticket did not match the item I bought. The manager said the 12 oz sizes were in in a small area the I didn't see.
The bottom line is that the customer is giving tickets to the clerk for free items but is actually getting charged unless the customer catches the mistake. This is a poor business practice.
old chicken
I was sold this chicken today 5/13/19, the sell by date was 5/3/19, which I didn't realize. The cashier said it wasn't scanning and had to go get a managers badge to continue, I didn't realize until I got home to chicken smells rotten. I would have got salmonella had I not smelled the chicken before cooking. I believe the chicken needed a managers badge...

I have been a loyal customer for a long time. Now that you have merged with Vons Market you have discontinued carrying a lot of products that I use. The staff at our store (Paso Robles, California) are great, always helpful.
Some of the products that you no longer carry are:
1) krafts 2% milk single slices - Swiss cheese & cheddar cheese
2) Philadelphia cheesecake filling
3) quick bread mix - sourdough etc
4) white rose potatoes
5) Oscar Myers pickle pimento loaf
6) Bubbies bread & butter pickles
There are other things but I can't think of them now. I hear other customers complaining because you've stopped carrying something they need.
I'm almost at the point that I'm going to shop at another store. I really don't want to but I don't have time to run around looking for items I need.
racists, unfriendly employees and managers, very disrespectful
My name is Leslie Wakefield and I live around the corner from the Alberstons store located at 1940 Village Center Circle. Las Vegas, NV 89134 Store number 333, Director Rick Sparrow 702-341-0308. The stores location is very convenient is why I choose to shop there, however. Each time I go, either something is left out of my bag, watch the prices like a hawk because my coupons are almost never automatically applied. The cashiers gets upset with me because I go through my app to show what items should be placed at what price. This is my SECOND time writing in filing a complaint. I'm considering seeking legal ramification for I feel discriminated. My water was shut off in my home for two weeks and I came into the store and as I have in the past been a little short. This time it was by .42 and I apologized to the cashier Gwen, when she began yelling at me stating that " Every time I come in the store I do this". I asked her three times to please watch how she was speaking to me for it was belittling and in front of customers and employees. She proceeded to tell me don't tell her how to speak. I was embarrassed and stopped shopping at that location. I contacted Rick Sparrow on the 30th of March explaining the situation, and he apologized and stated he will speak with his staff. I came back into the store on the 6th of May and seen Gwen, I proceeded to ask her if Rick had spoken with her and she replied "NO". Well, I informed her she should not speak to customers in such a manner for she never knows what peoples home life is like. She then stated what happens in my life is not her issue. I told her she was correct. However, she works in customer service and she should at least have compassion. She bcame ignorant yet again and this time I lost it. I informed her she is going to catch me on a bad day one day because I won't keep accepting this tactless disrespect. There was a manger standing there and watched the entire altercation and did nor said anything to diffuse the situation. My daughter and I left and I went back in and caught her and the manger talking nasty about me. So, I've done my due diligence by informing corporate, the store Director and it seems to have fallen on death ears. So, I'm going to call the number listed and try to speak with someone to see if this nasty manner can be resolved. I don't want anyone to lose their job, however if this behavior is accepted and tolerated then in my opinion most of the staff needs to be re-evaluated. I've done research on the store to see if I was the only one feeling this way and come to find out, there's quite a few people who have experienced such instances. She keeps on saying that she can only write down the US Dollar amount because she is here in USA, instead of checking how much the conversion of a certain amount i was telling her. Her co-worker beside her eventually told her that she could check the conversion thru the system and keep on manually adjusting the amount till she reach the US dollar desired amount over the saudi riyals i was telling her. I waited for long period of time and she ended up saying that i got blocked in westeen union system for 4 hours. Ive been a western union customer for such a long time and even utilized albertson for quite sometime but this sotuation never happened to me. The only reason why this could happen is that she did blocked it purposely. She have definitely clicked an option for the system to block me. This is a serious matter because she is using the transaction and my ID and my record to get back on me. Prior to this situation, she has been rude to me whenever she ring up my groceries.

manager william sanchez / false advertisement
I am from Silver City New Mexico it is approximately 11:30 p.m.. this complaint is in regards to a manager William Sanchez. So i am paying fur my items and he hands me receipt i noticed I'm charged 499 for 4 6 pks of bottle soda pop. I ask him why i was charged 499 for these sodas when the sale tag says 199 limit of 4 he goes to the aisle where the sodas arm and starts to tear off the sale tag when he comes back to the register the other girl who I was with turns around and tells him so they are a 199. He then turns around and tells us know they ain't that sell was from last week so I tell him then you must sell us them fir 199 since they were priced that much on the sale tag. He begins to argue with us telling us that he did not see anything when we witnessed him taking off the tags as he walked up and saw them I understood that he can get into a lot of trouble by selling us that many six packs for that amount so I explained to him that that's not what I was expecting. I explained to him that all I wanted him to do was admit to him going and ripping off them tags so that way he would not have to sell them to us for 199. He began to threaten us that he was going to call the cops and that if we wanted for us to go shop at food basket because he can care less if we stop there anymore there was an older lady standing behind us at the time he turns around and tells us ask her if she knows who I am so I ignore him and just tell him to give us a refund so he begins to give us a refund and still is there telling us that he can give us one six pack for the dollar 99 but he cannot give us all of them I turn around and tell him no that's fine just give us the refund. I didn't tell him why what do you want to give us one six pack for a dollar 99 when he swears he did not see no cell type which didn't make sense so as I'm approaching the exit door he is sitting here and talking to this lady and they're just sitting there talking and talking and talking about us when I seen that that's like putting another customer life endanger for the fact that he didn't know what she was capable of doing or what I was capable of doing and not caring that he started something between all of us disrespected us in front of everybody and you still set the very unprofessionally talking about us to this other customer as a manager he wasn't even thinking that he could have started a chaos over something that wasn't even none of her business or nothing to get this we about he was just upset because he knew he could have gotten in trouble for sinus all them sodas for a dollar 99 cuz he should have taken up those lips before he even started his shift or whoever is responsibility that was so basically my point is we were very disrespected in the Albertsons of Silver City and would like some kind of apology or something because we were not in the wrong

I had the opportunity to visit the new Albertsons on Fairview and Eagle Rd in Meridian recently and am compelled to tell you my observations during my visit.I had heard so much about the bar in your new stores that I wanted to give it a try, the young lady behind the bar whose name was Suzette was very friendly and helpful and and made me a perfect drink, sadly after this was where my experience turned sour.There was another employee there by the name of Angie(manager? assistant manager?) who was perhaps the most miserable and overbearing person I have encountered in a customer service situation.She treated the other lady extremely poorly making a point to denigrate her loudly in front of customers for what seemed minor transgressions i.e speed of getting them taken care of, garnish misses.To her credit and professionalism the other lady(Suzette) remained polite and accommodating the entire time even while getting repeatedly lambasted by this woman who seemed to spend inordinate amounts of time studying her personal cell phone, conversing loudly and often with her "friends" and generally letting someone else do the heavy lifting during a busy time.I have worked in the customer service industry for many years and if I had someone like this working for me as a face of a new venture I would definitely make some quick changes in personnel, you seem to have some employees who are trying to make the customer experience a good one(Suzette) yet those efforts are being overshadowed by others like Angie who left a bad taste in my mouth.
paying by check
I was in an Albertsons store on 4-12-19 at approximately 6:30pm. I did my grocery shopping and when I got to the checkout I let them know I needed to pay by check. I normally pay with my bank debit card however the card expired and haven't received a new one yet. The bank gave me checks to use until I received the new card. I had my ID in hand and filled out the check. The cashier was new and wasn't sure how to process checks so he called the manager over. She told me she could not take my check. She did not try to process it, only told me no. Now I will have to go back to the bank on Monday to take cash out of my account simply so I can buy food. I am a loyal customer and I am extremely disappointed in what happened. I work in retail myself, so I understand there are people who will try to write bad checks etc, this however was not true in my case. I think the manager could have put the check through and saw that it was legitimate.

Hey All. First of all, I love my nearby Albertsons store here in Los Feliz. CA. I go there more often than I probably should ! Unfortunately, today I bought a jar of O Organics Peanut Butter - Old Fashioned. There was about an inch of water in top. Which I just figured you mix in with contents. Well, that did not really work and the taste was not good, let alone consistency. Later my stomach was upset. The expiration is 09/23/2019 so that was not it. I guess this one just spoiled along the way. I just want a refund OR a coupon for another jar (not Old Fashioned - lol). It was on sale for just $3.99 but it's the principle about this. I went to the above-referenced store around 7:00 pm tonight, February, 8. I needed a number of things from the deli. I choose Albertsons because I like Primo Taglio meats and 2 that I needed were on sale. I waited for the counter person to finish with her customer and was intending to buy 3 different meats, 2 cheeses, and 3 or 4 side salads, but I had questions. The initial counter person came in front of me and began weighting meat in bulk and said someone else was going to have to help me. She then called to her co-worker who was walking to the bakery area. It was very clear the co-worker did not want to help me as she did not look happy. She rolled her eyes and came over and rudely asked what I wanted. At this point I was feeling uncomfortable and did not think it would be condusive to order a large amount of items because I would have to spend time with someone who clearly did not want to be there, let alone ask her questions about the salads. I want across the street to Sprouts to purchase what I needed from the deli.
