Racial profiling/ front counter employee
My wife and I were racially profiled. In order to donate plasma, you must eat enough, which she ate a ham sandwich and a cobb salad with chicken. The female at the front counter was rude and didn't try to help or ask someone else for advice. She just told my wife to leave, was being very rude, but when It came to someone else that was the same color as herself, she was cheery and smiling and having full conversations. With my wife, she had attitude and was being really rude and snappy. I went in to talk to the manager and he refused to talk to me. He stayed in his office. Racial profiling is illegal in texas. Biolife plasma has yet to reach out to me. I've been trying to get a hold of them. Im never donating at biolife again. We drove 45 minutes just to donate, wasted gas, all just to get told to leave. It's unprofessional and humiliating. Something has to be done.
Got skipped
9/15/20- after getting through vitals which was quick as usual, I got to the bed about 5:45am, I sat there for about 15 minutes until a staff member came over only to watch them setup another donor first that sat down several minutes after me. This is quite frustrating as I have to go to work after donating and has happened a few times before. Can the staff...

Donating after having covid
I tested positive for covid 19 on [protected] and was released from Health Dept [protected]. I contacted Biolife (in St. Peters, Mo, where I have been donating for 2 years) after my quarantine, taking my documentation with me. I was told a nurse would call me. I spoke with nurse, who told me I would be contacted back when everything was verified. It is now...

I have been donating over a year. It seems when you get into the higher money, then something goes wrong. I don't have high blood pressure no where near it, but your readings are so high that I have to sit out 5 minutes and try again. I went to my doctor to get medicine for anxiety to calm my nerves down ( only need it for donation). It works some of the...

So I've been in about 8 times. The first donation was awesome and had NO problems. After that things took a drastic turn. 7 out of the 8 times I've been in they've messed up and had to poke me TWICE EACH TIME. This last donation did me in though. The second to last donation an incredibly INEXPERIENCED young woman seemed to mess up my left vein. Then thi...

I'm filing a complaint because it's been over three weeks that i'm trying to receive the 150 bonus when you refer a friend and if they complete two successful donations it said the 150 automatically goes into your card and that's false advertising and I don't think anyone should go through the same thing I went through I tried calling numerous times nobody...
Read full review of BioLife Plasma ServicesNever paid me on my 1st and 2nd visit. Nobody helping me
The worst service I have ever experienced on 7/21/20 9am shift. They never paid me my bonus for my first and second time and I'm already going to quit coming here because nobody talk to me when I walk to the front doors they asked me to sit down. I actually think they need to hire more people because they were just empty. I even heard their own people...

The receptionist at the Centerville Hwy center named Shaundra was very rude and unprofessional. While she refused to process someone who was 10 minutes late for an appointment, she then rescheduled another person's appointment for the same day and time and the person was basically a walk in while the other young lady was only 10 minutes late and a new...

I called the Richmond center to ask them could I still be a new donor at there center if my information was at the other center. The lady tells me I can but I'd have to have my information transferred over. I did was told to check back with Richmond, I called the next day, and was told all was well. I set up an appointment the next day only to call the day...

I couldn't find my SS card, but had other ID. The girl wouldn't take me, but another woman came in with a friend who lived out of state and allowed that woman to use her friends address, didn't ask her for her SS card, just told her to mail something with her name and friends address in or bring it next time. She could have asked me to bring in my SS card on my next visit! The girl doing the check in allowed a person to lie about where they lived, but wouldn't take me?
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, staff is untrained, well they learn on you, OUCH. UNSANITARY CONDITIONS, especially during Covid. Very Lazy staff, very rude and the management there (IN LAYTON UT) seems non existant. VERY unimpressed, the staff had no consideration as to donor, or the time they keep them.
Discrimination
While working at the BioLife facility in Cordova TN. I experienced racism on a daily basic. We traveled to Texas to opening a new center in Cordova. When we arrived back to Cordova Tennessee. The black people were overlooked on lead and management positions. They gave positions to people with no experience. We had to train people who had been a the job for a month or so. The racisms was so intense, I hated coming to work.

I came today on June 19, 2020 to my appointment at 10:55 AM Add to bio life plasma in Osceola county Kissimmee Florida after the whole intake process I was given a seat which was near where the aisle is where everyone walks by which is not social distancing nor should I be near a wall where phlebotomist and donors pass by me every few seconds which one of...

I waited for almost 3 hours during my initial screening only to be told that I had to be deferred because how I answered a medical question. Read full review of BioLife Plasma ServicesTold to remove my face mask
On 4/5/2020 at 11am I went in for my appointment to donate for the first time at the lewisville, tx location. I was nervous to begin with leaving my home and going into a public building. I was shocked that they told me to remove my face mask, which is now recommended by the CDC for everyone to wear because of the Coronavirus. They said it is the company's stance to not allow masks in the facility. Most of the employees did not have any protection on except for a few behind the desk that wore face shields. I was uncomfortable staying and told the manager that if I can't wear my mask then I would leave and she suggested coming back another time. So I eft! It's just blows my mind that the company is not more careful about protecting their employees and the donors coming in. One excuse is they take your temperature when you walk in to make sure you don't have a fever. Which is ridiculous because some people are asymptomatic and it can take days for a fever to appear after contacting the coronavirus. Clearly the image of the company is more important than the safety of the people!

Read full review of BioLife Plasma Services and 1 commentMistreatments - needle insertion
I went to Biolife Riverton three times in the row to donate plasma. I was attended for technicians, even so they missed the needle in my veins causing pain and problems. Nobody cares. I have talked with the technicians to be careful, but they don't care about us. They cause bruises and because of bruises I can not donate next time, so I am paying due to the lack of responsibilities/ lack of skill of others.
I tried to talk to a leader tech about this subject, he despised my complaints. Should I look for another plasma donation center?
refuse to compensate me
They offer a referral bonus to donors and I've donated on numerous occasions. I referred someone and the unprofessional staff supposedly wrote my name and the person I referred names down ..the person I referred still donates and I've never been paid my $50 bonus for referring them. This is poor business practice and if I can't get my compensation today...
