Waiting 3 weeks for contract renewal and phones
Good Day
I applied for contract renewal on 25 August 2023. It is the 15th of September and I still have not received my phones. I was told that one phone was available on 11 Sept 2023 for pick-up. When I got to the Kimberley Cell C ( North Cape Mall), the consultant Linden told me that I had to wait 30 minutes for a time delay on the safe. I left to do my other business. Upon returning to the store, he call the manager whom then told me that I could not have the phone because it had never been their stock to give out and the courier had picked it up. I still have not heard from them again or received devices. I think this is inexcusable and I want to take out contracts with another service provider. I believe that my phone was given to another customer as the manager could not even look me in the eye while telling lies to me

With countless reference numbers due to sent emails, i initially received 1 response from and acceptance to the cancellation of which to date countless emails have been ignored Cell C have sent letters of demand as well as continued debit orders.
i am lost as i dont know what else to do other then reach out to every platform and explain my story please find evidence of them stating they would cancel the contract with no progress to date.

I have data contract with cell c, they missed 2 months not debit their money. However I paid it on the 18th of August but till today my SIM card is closed they keep saying money is not reflecting. I have went to Cell C multiple times to provide the proof of payment and also phoned the customer care they asked me to send the proof of payment via email of which I did multiple times. I don’t know what to do now and their customer care is very rude and sometimes drop calls. I am about to end a month with an closed SIM card and that is inconvenient my life.

Contract paid up letter
I had a cellphone contract with cell c for almost 6 years now it happened that I was no longer able to pay they handed over my account to mbd attorneys who were calling day and night so I ended up paying on the 28 of august the whole amount they gave me as a settlement amount and have requested the paid up letter and mbd is telling me to go to cell c while cell c is telling me to go to mbd I have been calling them non stop even went to their branch the consultant tried to help but he even dont know how to resolve this please help me I have a pressing matter regarding this

Cell phone was stolen Saturday night as well as a car and household items - was reported on Tuesday and phone blacklisted. Went back on Sunday to get a new sim with ID document. They refused to help me as we cannot remember the last 5 numbers that we dialed. Note numbers not names. How do you memorize numbers that you dialed. We could only recall 3 but that was not good enough. We have been customers of Cell C for many years, and this is how you get treated. The store did not want to phone customer service to assist us-they did not want to assist us in any way and are very, very rude. We cannot get a new sim! How is this possible. On Tuesday they did not mention that we need to provide numbers nothing. They just wrote down the ITC number. We phoned customer service later and was told the store must help us. Went back and they still refused. This is not how you treat customers. Will stop my contract as soon as possible and move to another service provider.

Contract for fibre cancelled in 2020
My husband took out fibre with Cell C which he cancelled in August 2020. We have emailed proof of the acceptance of this cancellation. For three years Cell C has called saying he owes. To resolve it despite it being cancelled he paid it up about 5 times for various amount amounting to about R2000 for a service we cancelled. Everything he paid up they promised it was cancelled. Still not cancelled. We have gone in store on 3 occasions. We have called the call center dozens of times . We have tried to speak to supervisors who are rude and just cannot seem to comprehend the seemingly simple fact that it was cancelled over 3 years ago and Cell c in fact owes him money.
And now they hand him over to NuDebt . We have also tried to explain it to them and have emailed all the proof and correspondence. Still no one gets it!
Desired outcome: We do not owe anything and ideally cellC should pay us back. But we will settle for no more payments and the case of handing over cancelled. My husband’s credit rating should not be affected for something he did not do

Phone repairs department
I need someone to assist me urgently regarding my oppo phone, it has been in for repairs 3 times already & the same issue still when I receive it back. Cell c carnival mall knows me well already as they know what I have been through with this phone, every time it goes for repairs they need to remove my screen protector, I am then without a phone for a few weeks when I receive it back I buy a new protector immediately. After a few days it does exactly the same & it gets returned again, again the protector gets taken off & phone returned again & this just repeats itself. Yet I am paying for the "rental of the phone" this matter needs to be taken serious as I am now getting sick & tired of the issue not resolved.

Contract debit order
I've has issues with Cell C the entire year since I upgraded in December last year. Since my contract was only due in March, the consultant that assisted me explained that end of March I would get debited a high amount and the amendments to my contract upgrade will be visible end of April which I agreed. But instead I got debited the same amount as end of March. I called customer care and they could not assist me. This went on til end of May were I was also debited a higher amount. I asked them to listen to the recordings when I upgraded in December but my request fell on deaf ears. I ended having to search for the lady's details that assisted me in December and only she was able to amend the cotract end of June. Now they have double debited me and I send an email on the 9th of August to customer care for assistance but they only sent a reference number on the same day. No feedback til date. I called Cell C this morning on the 17 of August and they told me to send a bank statement. I asked to speak to the manager as I do not understand why they never got back to me within 2days as per their email. The manager never came to the call and the consultant refused to give me her surname. I told her i only need her surname so that I don't have to explain my situation to anyone. And previously, when I asked to speak to the same agent they told me they have more 10people with the name Mpho working there. I am more than disappointed with Cell C. I have been loyal to them for 18years now but this is were I draw the line.

Number change
Took out a 2nd contract on my name end of 2022.
Did the number change process in the Cell C store, Woodlands so my daughter can keep her old number and just use the benefits from the new contract.
This did not work, went back 2nd time to the same store.
We went through the whole hour process again, yet they had no clue how to do this.
Phoned 084 135 spoke to someone who escalated it.
Got a case number [protected] and she advised they will contact me within 2 days.
After a month still nothing.
I called 084 135 AGAIN, inquiring about the case number [protected]. Lady on the other side advised this shows as resolved and that they contacted me to confirm. None of this happened.
I sent a email to complain about all this. See attached for date and details.
Later (10 Aug [protected]) someone from the social media team called me, I explained my problem. After a lengthy conversation she advised she will look at this and get back to me.
She called me back later that day advising this has been resolved.
Yesterday 14 Aug 2023 the number in question stopped working.
Cannot make calls, cannot receive calls/sms nothing.
This is becoming ridiculous now.
Desired outcome: Just do your work and resolve my issue please.
So. I changed the number to 084 835 **** (please see your records).
From Monday whenever we try to call her its says "Welcome to voicemail..."
I have switched off the phone and back on again, no luck.
She is not getting incoming calls or SMSes, I have tried several times.
Last night we used her phone to call mine and my wife's.
The incoming call that displayed on both screens (our phones just to be clear) was from a 074 972 *** number which is the original number which SHOULD NOT BE WORKING if the change was done correctly.
074 972 *** is not the number I requested for number change.
There is definitely something wrong here.

Unfair Listing
I’m currently listed on credit bureau for an amount that I settled almost a year ago. I have been in contact with CellC on numerous occasions but no fruitful action has been taken. I recently contacted them again and a reference number was issued to me for the second time [protected] I’m really disappointed with their service because now it is affecting my profile on Experian and ITC.

Contract cancellation
I cancelled my contract in March and paid a commitment fee.
5 months later and cell c has debited my account again and telling me I have to send in a letter of cancellation plus pay another commitment fee even though they have voice recordings of the cancellation and their own staff telling me I don’t need to do anything other than pay that amount.

Laptop Contract with Cell C [protected]
Took out a contract with cell C and was behind with the payments. Made payment arrangement with a consultant on the 20th July 2023. On the 1st August made payment of R1 500.00 and on the 2nd August 2023 made another payment of R1 300 as I was told that the amount to pay to get the account up to date was R2 800 . To my Suprise when I go to the branch in Fourways Mall, I was told that my contract was cancelled. All I was told was that my account will be handed over should I not make payment end of July 2023. I made payment as promised and to my Suprise the contract was cancelled, without any communication with me. I need someone to explain to me exactly what happened and why was my contract cancelled?
Just to let you know, I am not happy with the service I received from Cell C, I have been your client for year. For once I go through financial issues I am being treated like nothing?

Data contract
Cell C Customer Service Case Number : [protected]. What has supposed to be a simple contract renewal has turned into an absolute mess yet again.
Referring to the case number, which has not been solved. I agreed to pay the amount of R488.00 which was debited on the 25/07/23. Now I have been debited a second time for an amount of R279.00 without my authorization. The second is not even my scheduled debit date. How are you'll allowed to steal money from my account? I spoke to the agent (calls are recorded [protected]) and agreed to pay the R488.00 and still I get debited again. I have a pending case which has not been solved and am waiting for the outcome. I cant believe something this simple has lead to such a mess for which I am paying the price.
I have a job to do and cant go back and forth with this nonsense. This is supposed to be simple but your call center agents have made a real mess here and I am suffering as I must keep damn complaining, my query does not get resolved and I keep getting debited. I even compromised and agreed to pay penalties which I don't have too as I didnt use any data. Damn thieves!
