She acts as if it's a burden too do her job, she has treated me awful countless times because I'm a newly divorced mom of 3 temperarly on ebt food stamps.
Every time i shop when she is working she is running in and out smoking or talking to random people who pull up outside. Looks like a drug deals are happening on the side at this store. If she hasn't been drug tested recently maybe you can look over your employment policy and make sure all tests have been properly performed and Carried out honestly.
Absolutely a mess inside and out and I'm surprised someone who is wheelchair bound hasn't reported this store. I know they refuse to shop here because

The turnover rate is extremely high due to the night managers lazyiness and neglectful behavior towards customers and employee's.
I won't go too this store again as long as she is around, something is not right here and I'm not the only one who sees it.

The Dollar General #.9306 It's hot in this store, the girls that work there, are sweating. By the time I get out with my ice cream, it's melted. I looked at a thermometer in one of the isles and it said 90 degrees. That's ridiculous. All the other stores around have good air conditioning. That's ridiculous. That store has been like that for more than 5 years. A big corporateing like that, should take better care of there store and employees and customers

My Daughter hired in over 2 months ago, since then she has not been scheduled to work no more than 8 hours a week ! The past two weeks she has been scheduled only 4 hours per week ! Plus they hired a new person 2 weeks ago and she has worked every weekday the past two weeks! I would like to know why my Daughter is being discriminated against ? This is unacceptable!

To whom it may concern,
I am a regular customer of store #18847, and upon entering the store, instead of a greeting, I was given a stern time frame for shopping as if to be annoyed. There are better ways to inform a customer of the closing time rather than how I was rudely greeted upon entry. This in return creates a hostile environment by putting the customer in an uncomfortable position as to how to deal with a worker who has treated them unfairly for no reason other than their own personal dislike of a customer coming in close to closing time. If this employee is unhappy with their position, I'm sure there are plenty of homeless people would jump at the opportunity to have a rewarding job that they would take serious and take pride in what they do and make their customers feel welcomed regardless of the time.
I hope this issue with customer interaction is addressed sooner than later as I am unaware of what the next interaction with this employee may lead to.

I purchased Dreyers ice cream which was posted to be on sale for $3 and when I got to the register they rang up for $4. I question the cashier and she walked to the freezer and pulled the $3 sticker off and came back and said that sale went off yesterday. I told her since it was still posted that she should give me the $3 price she told me no that I would have to pay the $4 price. I called back to speak with the manager Staci & asked for regional managers name & # but she didn't know it.

The music is trashy and too loud so whenever I come into dollar general i get irritated and the store is very unorganized. Hard to get into the parking lot too. I asked someone to use the restroom and they said that they lost the key and I asked someone else about the restroom and they said that it was for workers only. Then I appeared to the manager to use the restroom and the manager said that this restroom is not for n**** and for workers only. Dollar general I hope you are proud that you lost a customer and I hope your shop goes out of business soon. I wasted time doing this review. Negative stars if possible.

I would like to complain about the young woman whom is a manager at the goodland, ks location. I was in ther store on Saturday when a vendor came in and I witnessed her walk up to him in front of his wife and daughter and proceed to yell at him about product in the back. He said to discuss things when he would be working the store. She proceeded to follow him through the store while he was still with his family trying to shop and harras him and speak very rudely to him. Other customers and employees seen and heard her do it. Not very professional at all. I believe there is a time and place to speak to someone and on a weekend with their family just isn't the right time or place. Shame on her for trying to belittle him and speak to him in that manner. Very embarrassing for that man, his family and your store. I went into the dollar general in keyser wv, store number 02668 today. My husbad was with me. I got the items i wanted and proceeded to checkout. I told her i was going to do 2 transactions as i was using digital coupons from the dollar general site. One was my telephone number and one was my husbands. He was standing right there with me in the line. She proceeded to tell me i was commiting coupon fraud because i did 2 transactions! I could see if my husband wasnt with me and i had 5 different accounts. But i have 2 one for me and one for him. Not to mention these were coupons on ur websites! I am completely upset and i will NEVER visit this dollar general again! I have never felt this disrespected in my life! I will not recommend this store either! I have never had any issues with anyone in this store besides today. I have never seen this employee either. Not sure if she was new or not but her customer service sucks! And because of her disrespect i will not be back.

phone wallet money stolen
I was in Rockaway, NJ Store today and someone I feel took my phone which was in a wallet type case. I looked all around were I was which was only 4 locations in the store and also in the trash and bathroom and nothing. Some of the employees helped me a little bit but it was not located. I asked the girl who was the manager in charge but she said they were to busy to look at the tapes. I am going to make a police report since I do think it was stolen.
The part I did not like is that she would not look at the camera what is the point of the cameras.
I had credits cards, money, my phone taken and it means a lot to me. What do I have to do to get the camera looked at.
I was there today Sunday between 2 and 3.

I was in the valatie ny store today to return some clothes. I had the receipt and tags in the bag when I gave the rude lady behind the counter my stuff. When she took the stuff out of the bag she lost one if the tags and started to get rude saying that she was the only one working and I washolding up the line and she couldntg have that. First of all that's not my problem every time I'm in that store there is only one worker hire somebody. Than she proceeds to tell me that now she can't even resell the stuff why all other stores retain the stuff and rehab it. This is twice that this snotty woman has been rude. Last year I was in there and u had a low blood sugar and passed out I left in an ambulance a friend of mine was in there and opened an orange juice to give me and the worker all she worried about was who was gonna pay for that damn juice. I will no longer be going in there because that rude [censored] is always in there. So I would like an apology or some thing I spend a lot of my money in there but I won't be any more.

I had a large order and at the end of the order I asked if all my coupons came off especially because my mom had a problem with one before and I was told yes . I got home half hour away and realized the 2.00 didn't come off the 52 oz Palmolive dish soap. I was going to go back today and return it so I could use the coupon. But I guess yesterday was the last day. I should've gotten the 2.00 off is there any way I can have a coupon? I am at your store at least once a week doing my shopping. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Cherish Comstock and I have been going to the dollar general in my town almost every day for a year now and the customer service we received today was out of control, I myself was a manager for family dollar for 4 years so I do know about rules and safety procedures and today I felt humiliated, I went in with my son and my 6 year old granddaughter to get almost 200 dollars worth of stuff and lets just say I did not spend that much because my son had baggy basketball shorts on and was approached by an older worker there wanting tom search his pockets, now we all know an employee is not allowed to search pockets for they are not law enforcement and all he had in his pockets was a wallet his phone and money, I have never felt so humiliated before and I made it a point to make sure they knew how judgmental and un professional they acted! My son had over 200 dollars in his pocket and we are far from thieves! I make more than enough money to buy anything in that store, I am so upset by this store and the management I don't know if I will step foot in that store again, it is so hot so he is not allowed to wear basket ball shorts? Just so upset by this and just don't know about dollar general anymore!

When June 10th 2018 I went into the Dollar General in Beverly Hills Florida purchased a $2.98 bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and attempted to try to get cash back on my Visa card at the register the cash back so I re swiped my card and just paid for the Reese's the cashier never gave me a receipt and on my bank statement it says that the cash back was approved and taken out of my account but was never handed to me at the register at Dollar General and I've asked all employees if I may have a duplicate receipt even though I have the Visa card I used and the bag of Reese's that I purchased but do not have receipt if they were able to somehow look it up in the system or reprint it and they tell me no really need some information on how to retrieve my money that was taken out of my account but not handed to me in cash

The store in Penns Grove New Jersey has been absolutely TERRIBLE lately! The store is disgustingly dirty, disorganized and unreliable! They are "supposed" to be open 8am-10pm everyday. I've gone 4 times in the last week at different times during the day during business hours and they are CLOSED! I walked up to the door last night at approximately 7:15pm and the doors don't open. I look inside and the cashier is making hand gestures to me that they are closed while she is checking out a customer! Some days they don't even open! I was in there a few weeks ago and asked the employee if something was on sale because the tags were not up. Her response was "we don't hang sale tags on time. We hang them if we want to and if you need to know if somethings on sale go get an ad." Seriously! Worst store in the area by far!

Cashier at the store down the road for me, I believe his name is Rex, is always beyond condescending and rude every time I'm in the store. Today, I asked if they had extension cords, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to look myself, he just said "uh", laughed, and walked away. I was surprised he was even in the store when I got there, 99% of the time he's standing outside, walking around and smoking a cigarette. This is probably the last time I'll go into this store, as when I was in the line to be rung up, he was pointing at and making fun of a pregnant woman who had dropped her car keys and was struggling to pick them back up. The way he treats customers is disgusting, but with the way the rest of the staff is I'm not really surprised. The manager, Dakota, is every bit as bad and hateful towards customers or anyone who dares to ask a question. There are even rumors, in our little town of Royal, that she threw a cell phone at a customer. I can't believe a company has such low standards. - 5/10.
Dollar General will hire anybody that breaths and move them to high management. I was store manager for almost 2 yrs . Was transfered and lost my job within 6 months. The DM is a rude, arrogant, and hateful person. I was called all sorts of names (ex. Stupid, retarted, lazy) and humilated in front of customers and staff. I can take criticism any way you hand it out. But when i was physically hit, that was the last draw. I called HR and anybody else I thought that would help. NO LUCK! Because there were not any cameras on that particular isle, I had no proof. The other cameras clearly show her in my face and pointing her finger but nothing ever happened. So you see they don't care how management treats the "common" employee. There are good DG employees just very few far and in between.
it's not the product: cashier on duty 6/16/2018
A lady went to cashier line with 3 carts, no large items and started checking out midway through the 1st cart about 6 other customers got line with 1 to 5 small items. Cashier never called for help on checkout, so had wait and wait until the last item was scanned and Lady total was over $260.00. The cashier received two personal calls on her cell phone and yes she answered both times. She lost 2 customers that was in line that got tied of waiting just put their items down and walked out.
Some us question her why not call for help she laugh at first and then got offensive when I said that was unacceptable. She said I' am the manager and I have to take what give me (help). If she's the manager on duty with that type of attitude will drive customer away every time.

First of all, you want to require cash to buy a gift card? It's the day before Father's Day and I'm in a hurry. That's one strike. Second, when I try to get cash back from a purchase at DG so that I can buy that gift card, you want to charge me $1.50 to get my own money? Strike two. It will be easy to find a strike three and I'll be done with your store. I went and bought it at Publix instead
DG is not a freaking ATM or bank and it is not “your own” money.
they require cash because of fraud. get over it. be prepared next time. and yes there is a convenience fee for cash back. the cashiers have to go switch out and get change a millions times a day just because y’all are too lazy to go to a bank or a larger store with larger registers. so damn right. you are the exact kind of customer DG doesn’t want. only thinking for yourself. don’t put any thought into why things are the way they are.
burial floral arrangements for father's day
I frequently shop at dollar general and can almost fine everything I need. Today I was shopping for a floral arrangement to put on my father's grave for father's day. I went to 4 yes, 4 Dollar General stores looking and there was nothing. You had leftovers for Veterans Day and Mothers Day but nothing for Father's Day. I ask the cashier at the store in Duncanville Texas on Wheatland Rd and she offered me a greeting card when I specifically ask for floral arrangements for burial. Not the answer I was looking for. Not a happy camper today.
