lisa white claims management
My daughter fell at the Dollar General and trip on rugs that were in the isle on the floor, we filed an incident report and he doctor said to bring her in that day to be seen and I did. She had a 6 inch gash on her side, I was contacted by Lisa White from claims management and she asked if I would email her the pictures I took, I did she never responded so I emailed her again and she responded back " I find it hard to believe she didn't see them on the floor"...no sympathy, no apology whatsoever, I am furious I emailed her back for her supervisor information and told her under no circumstances in my 7 yr old responsible for the rugs on your company floor or the fact that she fell and was hurt! How dare she treat my daughter or I in that manner! Rude and disrespectful to say the least!
trashy parking lot and store
Dollar General at 1700 Old Town Rd, Charleston SC 29407. This business is an eyesore to say the least. Filthy parking lot looks like a city dump. Used baby diapers, empty engine oil cans, cigarette butts, empty drink bottles, used styrofoam to go containers, napkins, tissues, cups, boxes from prior store deliveries, beer cans, shopping carts that have been left in the parking lot. Local store managers should take pride and be responsible for the cleanliness and presentability of the stores they manage. A cleaner store and parking lot would likely result in increased patronage to this location

Every time that I stop at this particular location (which is 3 miles from my house and very convenient on the way home from work), the aisles are always cluttered with stock that seems to never get put on the shelves. Floors are nasty. The register conveyor belt has not worked in 2 years (no exaggeration). Some employees are extremely rude and act like they are inconvenienced when customers need assistance of any kind. They forget that customers purchasing items from their store is how they get a paycheck on payday. You can find some of the employees standing right outside of the entrance smoking. It seems that only one employee can operate a register because the lines are always long. Contacting management never accomplishes anything. I get pissed off by this place every time I drive by it! Never will walk through those doors again.
manager
Manager is constantly talking about customers and employees, she's teamed up with another employee and takes lunch breaks, smoke breaks even tho she don't smoke, and doesn't help cashiers out and has frequently left cashiers alone for hours at night time one of the busiest times. I've never seen her lift a finger in that store the entire year I've been going there. I also overheard her telling the buddy she has all the breaks with his she's slept with several vendors and is currently seeing one until his wife finds out she said jokingly ugh disgusting that assistant manager she has is what holds this store together she should be manager she's brilliant and always kind ready to help and available unlike the manager sorry excuse for a manager she is do something!
Employee
There is an employee named kim that works at the shawnee office on kickapoo in shawnee, ok. She is the rudest woman I have ever met! She needs to be fired. Shes been rude to me and customers in front of me and behind me everytime I go in there. Fire her!
I get your not to use the restroom there, its not a public restroom... But when you are about to throw up you have to use their facilities. I even knocked on the door and said "helloooooo" and noone answered me so I kept walking thru and seen her setting at a desk. She gave me a "go to hell look" like what are you suppose to be doing in here, you can't be in here. I asked her to use the restroom she replies "I guess." she never smiles. Shes rude to every customer weather their in front of me or behind me, shes rude to all of us! I was told she has had complaints on her already... This is getting ridiculous. Makes me to where I don't want to even go in there and its the store closer to my house.
digital coupons
I had a 70 dollar purchase today. I always use digital coupons. I would have saved around 25 or 30 dollars. I told the cashier. I tried to enter my phone number 3 times. There was a line behind me so the cashier said sorry it's not working. This is unacceptable. I should have walked out. This will be my last trip to Dollar General. I work hard to save as much money as I can. Very very disappointed.
employee
Hello, I live in Missouri City, Texas and I go to the Dollar General on W.Fuqua 77489.
Today, I visited the store and did some grocery shopping. As I was getting ready to check out there was an employee by the name of Alexis at the check out. During that time, another employee (Caucasian, blonde hair, grey or blue eyes) asked her if she wanted a cookie before she left (taunting her bc she had to stay) told her that Tiana should be coming out from break soon, so that she could go on break, and she left.
I had so many things, that I wanted to see about discounts, and proceeded to download my DG app. As I stood there going through coupons and letting every customer go in front of me, a customer started telling Alexis, she had poor customer service, but Alexis apologized and kept going. When the lady left, the next customer said, "you don't have bad customer service, what's wrong" that's when Alexis started to cry staying that she had been there since 8:00a.m and hadn't had a break..by this time, at least 35 mins had passed bc I let so many customers go ahead of me to be courteous of my coupon shopping...by this time, an old friend walked in and we actually started walking through the store and talking. When I came back, Alexis was still there ringing up customers.
By that time at least an hour and 20 mins had passed and Tiana still hadn't showed up. Finally, when it was my turn to check out as i was leaving, two men walked out the back, dressed in regular clothing and Than a from out the back putting on her jacket. I asked her for that employees name AGAIN, and I told her I will make sure I report her.
I do not think it is fair for her to be apart of a company that requires team work, yet every time I come there Tiana is either in the back (the room by the cash registers) or she's coming from out the back bc Alexis or the other night skinned lady, needs some type of assurance at the register.
I do not trust her, she looks sneaky and she's always dry and never smiling or talking to a customer. THE STORE IS FULL OF UNPACKED THINGS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLES...SHE CAN BE DOING THAT INSTEAD OF ALWAYS BEING IN THE BACK. I GO TO THAT STORE OFTEN... AND I OAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING. BUT TO SEE ALEXIS BITE HER TONGUE AND SMILE WHEN THAT LADY CALLED HER RUDE FOR NO APPARENT REASON AND THEN TO NOT HAVE HER BREAK AND IT WAS ALREADY 4 O'CLOCK...IM ANGRY BECAUSE NO ONE DESERVES THAT AND THAT GIRL WAYS DOING HER JOB AND TALKING TO HER CUSTOMERS. ALL OF THEM, EVEN THE HEAVY SET BLACK LADY...BUT TIANA HAVE TO BE THE ONE B AT THE COMPANY. IT'S SAD AND IT DOES NOT MAKE A COMPANY LOOK GOOD.

rude employee
I am a frequent shopper of Dollar General In Ringwood NJ. On more than one occasion I have had to deal with Brandon. Brandon is rude and always gives me the wrong amount back. If he is having a bad day... the store and customers pay for it. I will not shop there again, when he is there. I walked out this morning when I saw him. Always cranky and telling customers about his personal problems.
dg home 4 roll 2ply toilet paper
I'm appalled that this toilet paper has no perforations! When I buy tp I expect it to come in sheets that you can tear off not one endless piece of rolled up tissue. It even says the word "sheets" on the packaging which seems to me is false advertising if it is not perforated. I'm not sure if you're trying to cut the costs of manufacturing by not perforating but it is very inconvenient and irritating!
I do not see how "sheets" implies that it is perforated. That being said, they may produce/sell it however they want. I assume this is not a name brand and is therefore cheaper than some competitors.
employee
I was at the weyers cave va store when i overheard an employee named mollie sheffer talking to someone about how awesome it is to work there because she now knows where the cameras are incase she wants something to steal and she continued on about how she can lock herself in the bathroom while working amd hit her methamphetamine pipe while being on the job i was disgusted.
Unfortunately the conversation you overheard, unless it was directed towards you personally, is not your personal business. She may have been joking or there may be more to the story. You cannot know for sure.
i'm complaining service
Dollar General 271 highway fort Smith AR 72908.December 2nd and a very busy store one person cashier line to back of the store.no stockers no one else in the store and the cashier is new not her fault store always looks bad can't get down the lanes stock always not put up and lanes are blocked.
The dollar snickers are never there.my cart was full I left.
It's possible they are short-staffed or have had unexpected employee turnover. Abandoning a cart full of items certainly doesn't help them. I truly hope you put the products back, otherwise that was quite rude of you.
customer service
I hve been a loyal DGcustomer since the franchisr opened in my area..By loyal i mean sopping in the store almost daily spending in excess of 500$amonth..That being said i hve never been treated by a customer service emplyee, manager at tht, with such disrespectful, demeaning, and deplorable attitude throughout ALL my years. To walk into a store in happiness and walk out in tears is unexceptable behavior. As i shop i pay very close attention to prices, sales and coupons included..wen an iten does not ring as it should or the price isnt marked clear and i hve to ask the associate mu intentions are not to mke their work harder .

I stopped by this Dollar General around 7 pm on 12/01/17. I've been in heels all day and my feet hurt. I just wanted some candy. I didn't know you had to have shoes on to go into the Dollar General and the manager (I'm assuming) came running up to me and yelling at me to leave the store because I had to have shoes on. There's a way you talk to people and that was not it. I didn't argue. I did what she said. But she kept telling me to leave even when I was trying to get the keys from my boyfriend so I'm not standing outside waiting for him to get done inside. She pointed at me and then pointed at the door, tapping her foot like I was a piece of trash that blew in. If she wasn't so in my face and talked to me like I was a person and not a dog, I wouldn't be complaining right now. Like I said before, there's a way you talk to people and this lady has no idea how to do it. She simply could've said "excuse me ma'am, you have to have shoes on." And I would've said okay and went back to the truck and put those god awful heels back on. But she was rude.
employee closing store for below
12/1/17 I went to one of my local Dollar Generals located at 1100 Ribaut Rd Ste 1 at appox 7:52. There was a sign on the door that stated something along the lines of "closed reopen soon" there was 1 car besides mine in parking lot, as another pulls in beside the employees car they both get out a very obvious drug deal is done. I leave & go to the next store & when I pass back by there are no vehicles there & items are left outside for anyone to steal. Great employees you have working!
employee
An employee named Mollie Sheffer, at the weyers cave va store was boasting to someone (i guess a friend of hers) about how its awesome she works there now to know where the cameras are to steal merchandise and also about how its so easy and convient to smoke methamphetamines in the store bathroom. I overheard the conversation and was in absolute disgust

December 1, 2017, I went to the the Sardis Arkansas Store 12096, to obtain some necessary items. This is a local store for me and I go there quite frequently as I am disabled and the store Manager Connie knows me from coming in there. It's always been cluttered but at least the help has always been kind. Today when I went into the store I was shopping and had probably close to $100.00 worth of merchandise as I normally buy all my paper products and laundry ect on the first of the month, as I am disabled. I could not find a particular item so I asked if Ms. Connie was there and was told she had left early that day. This was about 3:30pm. I asked another young lady soon to be known as Traci Redmond, if she could look in the back for some fixodent with scope, and she replied very rudely she didn't have time. I had a small container of another brand in my hand and was standing by the sales samples ailes. After her rude remark I tossed it onto the shelf, and before I could say anything else she stated, "I dont need you throwing things in my store", and then accused me of running over her foot with my buggy which never happened. My buggy never even moved. On that note I told her "I never moved my cart and her rudeness could put that whole buggy of merchandise up as I would not spend my money in there being treated as such." I then asked her name and left the store. This store is always cluttered, hard to walk down the aisles, and boxes stacked everywhere. It is a hazard to any disabled person walking through there and to have such rude folks working there and making false accusations is reprehensible.
Then to make it all the worse, this lazy employee left the store and left poor Steven another employee by himself to clean up her mess. HOw Dollar general can allow such LAZY employees to work for them is beyond me. Poor Steven. Hard Working, and left to do it all alone. And when Ms. Traci Redmond left the store and got in her car, she left Steven the other employee to handle the 10 people waiting in line by himself.
manager at dollar general in andrews tx
11/30/2017. Attached is the sign on the toy aisle. When me and my kids went to pay the item didn't ring up for 50% off I told the cashier about the sign she politely walked to the toy aisle and said yes the sign says they are 50% but couldn't give me the price. I asked for the manager (Marisol) she came up to the front stating the sale was buy 2 get 1 50%. I stated to her the sign doesn't say that she got rude and stated " I know what the sign says i didn't put the sign up do you still want the toy or are you going to cry about 2.50" I asked her what her name was since she didn't have a name tag on she stated " Marisol would you like me to spell that for you". I told her i would be taking a picture and reporting her. she stated she didn't care. When i went to get my bags she basically tossed the bag at me. I go to this store all the time. But if this how i will get treated for a sign that was but up incorrectly i will not shop there anymore. There was plenty of other parents on the aisle complaining also. Marisol is very unprofessional and for her to state i was being cheap in front of the whole store is not something a manager should be doing. If you can email me a response i would appreciate it. My names is Brittany Whitehead my email is [protected]@gmail.com I hope this can get fixed and the sign be taking down also have some better management skills
The sign says buy one get one 50% off. We're you buying two toys?

I am appalled that I witnessed the manager of the Dollar General in Middlesex giving money to a known drug dealer in the area. I have called the anonymous hotline that was given to me more than once yet I still see her with him weekly. What is even more upsetting is that they have still done nothing about it. I also can't believe the way she talks about her employees behind their backs. She doesn't have a professional bone in her entire body.
expired food product
I bought some velveta shells and cheese and ate it and it made me sick. After I started feeling bad I looked at package and it was expired by a year and a half. My name is Trina Campbell and I can be reached at [protected]. I would like someone to call me in reference to this matter. I contacted my attorney and would like this resolved before I have him contact your company.
You don't really have a legal case. You cannot prove that the product was completely responsible for your illness, and you ignored a printed expiration date.
cash back not working
Tried to get cash back and the register kept freezing up, would allow the purchase amount, but no cash back. Employees told me it happens at all Dollar stores and the system needs a upgrade, and that corporate knows about it and is doing nothing about it. Also ever since your store manager got his Uber job it seems the store is going downhill, just saying. I hope you upgrade your system so I don't have to encounter this again, as I am a daily customer. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
