did not receive cash back when requested.
I went to store asked for cash back, cash back was not given. When I looked in my bag with receipt no cash was there. They refused to give me my cash back when I returned to the store moments later and after waiting 15 minutes for someone to make phone calls and check cash drawer. I want my money back. That's it. The attitude of the management sucks. She told me I lost the money. I never received it to be able to lose it. The lady at register was going to return my money because she knows she did not give it to me but then the manager told her she could not. Ridiculous way to treat customers especially when money is tight at the Holiday. Very unhappy customer. I don't want a hand out I only want what is mine returned to me. Diamondhead MS store. 12/9/17.
rude and disrespectful employees towards a united states veteran
I just witnessed an older gentlemen, United States veteran, being harassed and made fun of by dollar tree employees, including the manager. This is not the first time I have witnessed rude behavior from employees at this specific location, but it is the first time I see this type of harassment and total disrespect towards another individual especially a veteran. I called the store to speak to the manager and he lied stating he witnessed the employees laughing at the man and he put a stop to it. I said no, you went along with it I saw you. I asked him for his general managers number and he stated there was no one above him. After a few exchanges of words, he gave me the headquarters phone number. I want to file a formal complaint.
the whole store!!
I walked into the florence sc store on irby st. And the store is a total disaster.. It looked like the store has been robbed and totally distroyed... So discussed I could not shop or even enjoy shopping.. See pictures... There is no proper lights in the store.. Which you should be glad because it is a shame to see what your dollar tree really looks like. As a merchandiser I am fully ashamed of the appearance. And who ever is the manager should not be able to keep their job with this distasteful way the store looks.. I will never go in this store again. I was really confused. I thought the store was closing for good.
dollar tree/discrimination bad service
I went to the store located. Thompson Blvd.Center in Sedalia Missouri..i get just one thing it was two registers open with long lines and another just with one customer so went to yjat one register 1and i ask to the employee if she can serve me she siad no the light. Is off but then she went to another line and ask another customer with a full cart go with her to her register so i felt discriminate bu her because this is tje 2nd time she did to me...really disappointed .
spills and rude vendors
I had a bread vendor and a friend talking when I entered the store with my child. They watch everywhere I go and comment about us looking at Christmas candy. Laughs about whatever the deal is then goes back to work. Then when I get to the register, there is cardboard in the floor, covering spilled fabric softner. I slip on it but catch myself on the buggy. And of course this is hilarious as well. There was no warning from the surrounding employees or even attemts to clean it up or switch registers.
This was store #1852 on S. Rutherford Blvd.
employee treatment
im an employee of dollar tree 2307 in louisville, ky since our store manager left i feel like im not getting treated right i already had the dm tell me to my face i dont meet the expectation to be assistant manager its really hurt me ive work 2yrs 5months yet im a shift supervisor else where i get treated right and respect they expect me to do everthing i cant im hurt n tired i like working here i dont like how im beening treated. l
useless employee
As related to me: My husband, Mike, went to Dollar Tree. He said that he was in a long line. He thought he would save time when he noticed what appeared to be another register open. After all, the light was on and there was a guy at the register. So, he went to the other line only to be told that he wasn't open. Mike went back to the only line that was actually open. Only now, it was even longer. Moments later, the male cashier announced he was open. Mike was annoyed and complained to the cashier, Sarah. She defended the employee by explaining to Mike that he was on break.
Desirable resolution: Employee training on proper place to take break. The guy was eating a snack and talking to Sarah.
Customer perception: The situation could have been perceived as racism. Not only by my husband, but other people standing in line.

Sales associates ebony
I was in your store On Dec 12th 2017, brought 48 dollars in items and because I had my own bags the associate refused to bag my items. I find that to be unfounded for the paying Customer, l would like to know if this is part of your policy I can spend my hard Earned money somewhere else. Also l will post on face book, Twitter and Snapchat about this unfair Experience I at store 8528 so Ashland Ave in Chicago I'll 60620 store 6219.please correct this issue so that no one else has to deal with this issue again.thank you heartbroken and confused. The store manager told the young lady that she could not refuse to bag my items and Ebony started that if the bag was not from dollar tree she was not going to do it.
Your right thank you for your response, I don’t work there and after today won’t shop there any more hope other will do the same and store will go out of business you Ignorant fool.
just do your job and be glad that you have one
f a customer brings in their own bags i use them. Some companies are charging a fee for each bag they use, just remember the customer is always right and it take less stress out of you if you just do what they want and then.. Thank you
Most companies do not require associates to put groceries into bags that are brought from the home. The bags are your personal property and if damage was done to them then they could be held liable. It is fair to expect a customer to put away their own items if they are using their own bags.
absolutely no i don't agree on that, we are customer service. What difference does it make if we use ours or theirs, it takes longer to argue about the situation than it does just to bag them. Its only a big deal if you make it a big deal
ALso I bet Ebony's father does things to her and that is why she refused to bag my items. But just because her father molests her does not mean she should not bag my items.
I'm complaining about your manager behavior
Today I visted ur store located on archer ave in jamaica. I walked in with a bag that contains my food I was greeted by a young man who asked me me for the bag I told him it contains my food he said ok. I continued to make my purchase when the person who is a in charge a short glass wearing person can't classify him a manager. Once a manager myself I represent the bran of the company also for the employers. He was very aggresive what did she said u don't tell us how 2 run our store, as a frequent visiter of that store someone should be giving daily instruction. I wasn't pleased with his behavior I in turn allowed myself to stoop down to his behavior and disrespected the other shopping that I turned around n apologize to them. Upon my purchase and leaving the store little boy decided to continue his attack by stating my face looked like a sour puss I had to laugh at him while I walked out because at the end of the day he was left in his miserable states while I went on to make a waiting area of people happy. One thing I know I will put myself out the way to visit another dillar, and I will tell my friends n family not to visit 16610 archer avenue
Your spelling and grammar is AWFUL! I couldn't even finish reading this complaint. Go on somewhere...
employee talking about her store manager while customers are shopping
I was at Dollar Tree on Belmont ave Youngstown, Ohio about 6:0 pm on December 6, 2017. As I entered the store, the store manager was leaving, as I was looking for a basket for my items - the other store manager ( Shauna ) and a cashier were discussing the manager in a very demeaning way . The store had customers and they did not care who over heard them . Shauna also said that she was ready to tell the manager all about her self, and what will they think she she quits without notice - she got this job she can get another - also she was hired by the manager of that store but by corporate office . They continued to have their discussion even while the cashier was checking out customers. I have never heard such behavior in a store before - I hate to say it but I will really think about before I ever enter this store again.
Would like to hear from corporate on this
parking lot & inside of store
Reference: Store #6738
Location: 6302 South Dale Mabry, Tampa Fl. 33611
On 11-23-17 The parking lot was loaded with a lot of loose trash. Looked
as tho there had been a party & all trash was left. I said this to the woman
at the register & she said an outside company cleans.
Today, 12-6, parking lot was cleaned; however, the large mat inside the
entrance looked as though it had never been cleaned. The stinking dirty
smell was terrible. It was smells of dirty body odor & trash. This store
has gone down hill fast in the last month. I won't be going back to it.
the whole was an absolute mess and so disgusting.
Hi Yes my name is Mrs brocklebank. I shop at dollar tree a lot. But I walked into that store and boxes everywhere, nothing on the shelf, everything was in such disarary. I am so disappointed in the way the dollar tree was. I work in retail and that was so bad I walk out so fast. It made me loss my appetiate. I normal shop for lunch. But I couldn't even get to the freezers.
"santa hat" that said merry christmas
We went into the Dollar Tree to pick up some last minute items for our Lodge...stockings, SANTA hats, candy, ect.. As my husband was checking out, when it came to the HAT that said Merry Christmas it wouldnt scan so the clerk called for the manager Tia (her name) and she proceed to tell my husband that she would not sell him the HAT. She was extremely rude! He asked her why and her response was I'm Not Selling it to You! My husband was mortified and embarrassed that you would employ management such as this for a customer service based business. We did not purchase ANY of the items. From now on we will definitely take our business elsewhere. If we treated our guests like this we would not have our beautiful Lodge. This is deplorable.
customer service
Tonight, I went to the Dollar Store in Lehi, Utah. I was disgusted by how I was treated by "Austin". I cheerfully asked 2 questions about the availability of a product. His annoyed and disinterested reply was a curt "nope". I thanked him and browsed the store...and found the item! I just don't understand how you can be so short with people, especially customers who are patient and kind. Disheartening. It makes me never want to return to the location.
terrible customer service
The worst experience EVER! I placed an online order for chargers to be used at our Christmas holiday party. I ordered 2 cases and requested for them to be delivered to the store for pick up. I arrived yo pick up my items and there was only 1 box shipped. I looked at my receipt thinking I made a mistake but no Iï¸t clearly shows that I ordered 2. I called them and after 30 minutes on hold they had no explanation why they only sent me half my order. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me that they were gone for the day and will escalate this issue. They told me that I will be contacted within 24-48 hours. [censor]! I needed these in 48 hours. So they couldn't help me and were extremely unprofessional. Will ever use them again? Hell no.
rude manager
One as at the register when a pizza delivery guy shows up with what looked like their lunch. He asked for a Toby? They called Toby over the speaker and I believe it was Toby that showed up. The driver informed him that the address was wrong and Toby said when he gives the correct address Google maps take them to a different area. The driver suggested placing the name of the store in the order. Toby said I do all the time and they still can't find it. The driver suggested a phone number of he had questions, but before driver could finish Toby walked off. I don't know exactly what was going on but your store manager was rude. Didn't seem to care and if that's the kind of customer service he going to show in front of other I'm not coming back to this store.
store manager/unethical behavior
I visit the Dollar Tree on a regular basis & have had several encounters with manager, David Jensen. I am disabled & walk with a cane or sometimes a walker. On many occasions I have tried to safely enter the store but have encountered cars who insist on parking & blocking the entrance to the front door...even the handicap access has been blocked making it very dangerous for anyone with a walking disability to get into the store safely. I spoke with store mgr, David Jensen, about this situation & was totally shocked by his response. The Assistant Store Mgr was present along with several other customers who heard his response to me. He stated that it was not his responsibility to keep cars from parking in the fire lane directly in front of the store & that he had no responsibility for handicapped people trying to enter the Dollar Tree. I did inquire about his knowledge of the Americans With Disabilities Act which does offer protection those with disabilities & he said "quite frankly, I do not care about people with disabilities trying to enter his store & quite frankly it was not his problem." Needless to say, it was impossible to try to discuss it further with him. I have had 30+ surgeries & have earned the right to handicap parking & access to any store by LAW. It would take very little effort on his part to make the store access safe for everyone...example: placing cones in the fire lane, placing no parking signs directly in front of the store to include the small area where the curb is flattened for wheelchair access. Call the police & have them let folks know they are breaking the law. Mr Jensen laughed at all my suggestions, turned his back on me, went into his office & slammed the door.
The store itself is filthy...floors probably not been mopped since the store opened. There are unopened boxes on every aisle. The Dollar Tree offers good products at good prices. With a Store Manager that actually cared about his store, it could be a GREAT place. Sadly, with the likes of this store Manager, it is not going to happen. I do not expect any action to be taken regarding my complaint. I do have protection under the Americans With Disabilities Act & will not hesitate to use them should I be hurt or injured while in or on your property. With the high level of traffic through that area, it is just a matter of time until someone is hurt. Your store manager has NO regard for people with disabilities. Due to his lack of knowledge of pertinent laws & his obvious lack of respect for individuals entering the store...he should be fired immediately as he is a BIG LIABILITY for the Dollar Tree.
I do know that i was informed that my responses to comment are seen by our Corporate Office. If i can do anything in the store that i work, i will always be "the one that will help you". Customer service is exactly what it says, we do everything possible to make your shopping experience a great one. WE have new items coming in everyday, and believe me when there is a holiday, birthday etc. our store will be the one to shop at, and sometimes u can't wait till the last moment to pick up the holidays item, Thank You Sharon
I have worked at the Dollar Tree for 5 n half years. I take the extra time to help people with disabilities and i am very happy with my decision. What will happen when we are in need of help when we are shopping if we are handi-cap. I give my assistant to the disables, wheel chairs, crutches to make sure that they get help to get out the doors. Its called customer appreciation, i excuse myself to the next person in line to help the person in need out the door. If i remember it is our policy to help. Make yourself proud to help someone in need because someday you might be the one that needs help. Customers come back because "someone" took the time to help them
service sucks

Me and my husband and our son went to the Dollar Tree on Augusta Road in West Columbia South Carolina 29169 Sunday 3-17 at 6:30 p.m. to go in and grab a couple things we are regular customers there. Me and my husband and our son was walking around in the store grabbing stuff that we need our son had his sunglasses on top of his head he took them off and put them in his pocket and he took out his little Hot Wheel car out of his pocket we was still in the store getting more items that we need walking up to the cash register our son was with us the whole time at the cash register the manager name Brandon ring us up he accused our son of stealing a pair of sunglasses. I told him and also my husband said the same thing to him our son did not steal the sunglasses he got them 2 days early before his birthday from his auntie our son who is 4 years old who is about to be 5 years old very smart and intelligent. The man name Brandon kept saying that our son took the glasses he kept watching our son like he was a criminal I am a security officer for over 10 years. Brandon the manager was basically judging our son. he discriminate our son is African American and Jamaican he was judging our child by the way he look our child has dreads that is a part of his inherent tip. Please please just remove him from that store Brandon the store manager he do not need to be there I just can't believe that Dollar Tree will hire racist people and people who discriminate because of the color of your skin and because I have the way you look I felt so embarrassed so upset I had to explain to our child that people out here do mean things to each other. Long as that manager Brandon at that store I will not return to that store and Shop anymore. So please reach back out and somebody get in touch with me and let me know that the problem will be taken care of if it don't I will go to the news 19 and report that and I will give them the statement that I sent to y'all letting them know that no I got back in touch with me so please please get in touch with me and let me know that y'all deal with this issue thank you very much.
