store manager
On Sept. 5, 7, 10, 18, 20 I went into the store 0683 in Scotland Neck NC 27874 and it look bad the shelf is empty and very messy. The store manager is very rude and she smokes weed on her break on store property. I also heard her cuss a customer out to a dog cause they ask for something and it want on the shelf. That store manager is ghetto and not professional like. She dont need to be there. The employees can talk for me especially the lady name Susan she know that the store manager is not right for that position. I really hope yall do something about her soon cause Dollar tree gonna lose alot of customers.

discrimination against my service dog
I am a very loyal customer. I shop there 3-4 times a week. I even use your online service. Every Christmas I spend $300-$500 buying stocking stuffers to donate to shelters and churches for child and grown ups. Every Easter I spend over a hundred dollars for Easter hand outs. I used to always shop at the Store in Havre De Grace, MD 21078 store #4391. At first I accepted the lady asking me about my dog. Its always the same lady, name unknown, she wouldn't give it to me. After the 5th time of her asking me if my dog was a service dog and me saying Yes each time. I mean back to back visits so there was no way she forgot. I decided to change stores and went out of my way to use the store in Northeast, MD store #2405. The Northeast 2405 store I get excellent service, they even remember I'm the lady that spends a lot at Christmas, I loved it. Just this week on the 12th, I was already in Havre De Grace so I stopped there. I regret it now. She was working and I tried to stay away from her but near then end we passed each other. When I walked past her she said "I [censor] hate these damn dogs in my store". I left the store crying. My dog is very nice and polite and never does anything wrong in the store so I don't get what the problem is. When I get upset, it causes me to have black outs and fall. I have mobility issues and my dog keeps me balanced. I really would like to receive a phone call back about this situation cause I already brought it up to the manager of the store but she gives a phone number and walks away. My # [protected]
bread on shelves
I saw a Rats tail in the shelves and thought no it couldn't be .I said maybe something just fell so I move all the bread and look under the shelves below and nothing .asi I then check the bread and it has mouse bites and holes all over.I felt so disgusted in my stomach .athw store was kept clean and organized but it was still a bad experience.I told a employee and she said nothing, just took the bread and had a disgusted face.
service
Hello I am writing because I havent been this embarrassed in a while.
This is in regards to the dollar tree in Denver CO at 8000 E Quincy Ave #600 Denver CO 80237
This occurred September 18th between 6-6:15pm
I wish I could give this specific location zero stars. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life. I have a black purse that is one that you can carry on your back (bought it in the purse section at Kohls) I am not in high school. I actually work in the big office building right next store. As I was walking in, a tall man with black curly hair raised his voice accoss the room to take my back pack off. (He was a dollar tree worker) I didnt think I heard him correctly as I have never had this request before so I said, what did he say. He repeated across the room that I could not have my "backpack in here". I told him this was not a back pack... solely just my purse. He said I could leave it at the front door. I did not feel comfortable with this as I have personal items in my purse that I would not want stolen. Not accusing anyone, but you never know what can happen. Honestly, I am a Muslim woman and I have never felt so judged on. Was he afraid that I could have a bomb or something in my purse and that's why he said I could not have my purse in there? Either way he did not explain, just said it's a new policy. I would never want another Muslim woman to feel the way I felt today. I felt very low and probably will never return, even though I'm right next store every day.
- A former loyal customer who has spent hundreds of dollars here
He said it because most of the homeless people have backpacks. They go in their to steal. Since CO weed laws have changed, there's a influx of them. He was just trying to protect the store. But, can't win either way with that one.
Sorry, you had a bad experience. I would have called his general manager. But, if you allow one person and not another. Then it could be racial profiling.
vending machine inside store
My son and I where going to get some candy from the vending machine from inside the store at the dollar tree store on blue dimond and 15 freeway in las vegas and when we put our first quarter and it didn't give us any candy so I was like well that sucks but my sun is 4 and he was like try the next one, just for him I did and nothing, so I told the lady at the register and she said yea I know and the lady said thats not ours and it dont belong to the store, she said you have to call the number on the machine and I thought ok well that sucks so I called the number and its disconnected, I told the lady and she well theres nothing I can do call the store and file a complaint, I suggested to put a sign on the machine and she said that she cant do that either and said well that dont make any sense its just taking costomers money and there is no where to file a complaint, its not about the 50 cents its about the principal
complaint of racial profiling and unprofessional employee
On 09/17/17 I visited the Dollar Tree located at 1551 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Buffalo NY. I was racially profiled by a male employee named Derek, he has long blonde shoulder length hair. I came in the store with my 2 children, (2 y.o. son and 12 y.o. daughter) we are black. This was to be a quick stop, so my husband and 3 month old daughter were in the...

on september. 17th I came to store #5813 in Houston, TX to exchange some items as well as purchase more. I came wtih my items in box. after getting my addtional items for purhcase I went to the register the clerk was on the phone taking his time. he finally comes to the register I told him I need my box in order to get my new items to my car. he stated do not take the items out to the box unless I was going to put them back on the selves. I asked him if he was serious he said dead serious, because "he doesn't even suppose to be doing this" whatever "this is" I express to himt that seems to be an employee problem not a customer problem. he ignored my comment. My sister in law and myself are standing there with 2 baskets full of glass wear and he never once tried to wrap them offer any type of assistance until I stated are you going to help us or continue to let us stand here. So proceed to grab the box in which the exchange items were in, and wanted to remove them he yells don't take that out. I said well give me some help. I found another worker and asked him to get me box(es) he gets ont he loud speaker yelling loudly get this lady a box. while the whole time we are still standing there causing back up in the lines. I saw on one of the registers there was a roll or brown napkins so I grabbed those and stated its a same I have to do other people job. He yells out who job or you doing its not mine. I yelled back at times, I'm PISSED. I said its your job, you are unprofessional, unhelpful, rude and lazy. I should not be wrapping and trying to bag and box my own items. and you don't suppose to tell a customer to put items back on a shelf. The other employee found us boxes. but we still had to stand there and wrap and box all the items ourselves. WE CONTINUED TO HAVE WORDS WITH EACH OTHER . BECAUSE HE WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTUL. and bascially told him he doesn't give a DAMN. I remembered him from the week before when another asked him to help us then with that 1st purchase and get us a box. he walked out side and went to side of the building and smoked WEED with someone that was standing by the window waitng OMG.. after I got all the items wrapped he followed us outside and stood in front of my car and smoked a cigarrette and just stared at us as we got in the car. I don't know if he was trying to scare of or what but thats so unprofessional. I will never go there again as long as he works there and I will tell everyone I know in that area my salon and everyone else to not go. becasue that type of behavior is uncalled for and doesn't deserve business and he had a management badge on. Thats the funniest thing ever. because management definelty does not act like.
he was not for the customer, he is not customer centric.. he sucks.
store complaint/suggestion
store #5405 Vineland, NJ Store is very cluttered and needs to have more cashiers, long lines. Also, it would help if ALL Dollar Tree Stores had music playing as its so boring in there shopping. We love the price, but alot of times they are out of the stock we need. It should be more consistent. Also, there were only TWO shopping carts the last time we went in. Is that enough suggestions?
employees/manager
Kicked out of store after being falsely accused of stealing, denied purchase and threatened to have cops called wrongfully. Manager acknowledged we had not attempted to steal anything, lying to us, stating we had placed the merchandise in pockets when it was proven they had never been placed anywhere other than the carriage. The manager is Sean, and when asked why, he denied to give us a reason for kicking us out, even though we had not broken any laws. We are very unhappy with our treatment, and other customers recognized that he had treated us unfairly, stating they would not be returning to the store again.
skinny blonde manager
I have been a customer at the Dollar Tree on Ina & Thornydale since it opened. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the skinny blonde manager that works there. However, I can tell you that every time she is there, she is incredibly rude & less than helpful. When I ask for assistance from her, she acts as if I am bothering her.
Her crummy attitude seems to be rubbing off on the other employees as it used to be a pleasure to shop there. Now I've encountered more employees with her shameful attitude!
I am a employee and i'm complaining about a manager
Hi My name is Shante Johnson I work at store #396 in Louisiana..I've been treated unfair by a manager name Marion Moore..I really love working at Dollar Tree it's the greatest job I ever had..She is so disrespect and doesn't care about customer and employee..Ms.Moore clearly told me she didn't want me working on her shift..I ask her why and it was because of my hours...I have a daughter that's in pk-4 and I have to get her off the bus for 3:45 each day of school..I explain that to the store manager. I also volunteer as a football coach and basketball coach to give back to my community.."Love the kids" Today 9/17/2017 I came into work and said good morning to Ms.Moore she said nothing..She didn't give me a till just let me stand there and look crazy..So I stated to do reship because I was on the clock..an hour pass and Ms..Moore never said anything to me..So the line was backed up she call me to the front sayin oh you need to be up here..She saw me and heard me said good morning..it's alot more to say but this not right and for her to be a Manager is not cool..She handle customer really bad all of them I see with my own eyes..can somebody call me [protected]
the sales associate teasing me
I visited store number 731 yesterday. While in the register the sales associate Ms Philly was teasing me, "you have to pay taxes, This is America" in front of bunch of people. She is not that person teach me or tell me like that. This things every body knows. She treated me as an Indian, dark skin citizen ship in here.please let her speak before thinking.i will never visit that dollar tree anymore.
Thanks
She was being rude. I would have called her out.
cashiers
Hi I visited dollar tree in groton ct store number 4816 at 706 long hill rd. The cashiers are very rude and lazy. Sitting on chairs at checkout, sitting on the floor complaining about cleaning up after customers. The store is very dirty and unorganized. The older lady who sits in the chair is always yelling at other employees and referred to a new girl as and idiot. These people need to be reprimanded. I live in the military community and I will be telling all my friends to shop at different stores and not have to deal with rude cashiers.
how rude a dollar store employee was
My dad, my nephew and i went into dollar tree in flippin Arkansas. Wehave been in there several times before amd they were always nice to us. This time was different. One of the employees by the name of Darlene was rude and kept on telling us how long it was until they were closing. We were even standing in line checking out when she got on her speaker and told the store thwy would be closing in 5 minutes. And then she turned to us and said "did you hear that?" my nephew, who is 32 years old, is mentally hadicapped. He is permentaly mentally age 5-7 years old. She was extremely mean and rude to him. She made him feel so bad that he says he never wants to shop there again, and i feel the same way as him. There was no reason for her to be so rude to anyone, and especially not a sweet boy lime my nephew.
overcharge unresolved
I shopped at Dollar tree Friday, September 8. I was charged for three items that I did not purchase. One was double scanned, the others were not. I could not return on the same day due to stores closing early and hurricane prep. I could not get through immediately after due to stores being closed because of power outage. I went today and was not offered store credit or cash back. This to me is a nasty way of handling a long time customer and a crooked way of doing business. I will not be returning to that location ever again. Thank you for reading.
customer service
Hire a new cashier/ manager. On 9-15-17, I went into the dollar tree for birthday items for my son. I had no problems shopping until i got to the checkout. The cashier/manager never looked up at me, looked irritated and when i went to pay with a 100 dollar bill, she refused it said not at dollar, get one with a purple strip! I said sorry, i didnt know your policy its not posted, she responded now you do. I asked her to suspend the transaction so I could go out to my car to get my debit card and she said "you can get back in line, the end of the line."Because of the late hour and the area, i do not use an atm when Im alone. Upon my return, Shanice still never looked at me, dismissed me, the security guard directed me to another cashier, who was very kind. He said he needed to wait to sign on but that he was sorry and thst he "didnt want me to stress". My bill went over the balance of my card. I said "Im back to square one, meaning I only had the 100.00 dollar bill. I said just take a few things off. He took the bill, and approached Shanice, not realizing it was the same bill. I could not nelieve what she said next, for all the customers in the store to hear, "No, no bill without the purple strip, I already told her that, you know better, no, I told you that" speaking to me. I got so upset, I asked her why she would talk to her employee or the customer like that. She rolled her eyes, handed me the money and continued with her clean up. The cashier helping me felt so bad he paid the balance of my bill. (Almost 10.00) Brought me to tears. The cashier was sadly intimidated by the "manager" Shanice. I will NEVER shop in this dollar tree again. But tomorrow I will be getting a thank you card and returning the nice cashiers 10.00! In addition, my phone recorded the entire incident. My granddaughter had started recording on my phone an hour before so the phone caught the incident! People have bad days, I get that. This was something else. This manager was arrogant even after I asked her for her name. As if she didnt care that I intended to report my displeasure about her service to corporate. It is my opinion, this manager is representing Dollar Tree in a manner that is unprofessional and most certainly isn't customer friendly.

management at store on 63rd in oklahoma city
My husband was delivering freight which does not allow anyone but him in the trailer. The manager not only insisted on helping inside the trailer, after he made it clear that she wasn't allowed in there. She wouldn't leave the trailer despite him telling her that she is not allowed inside of it. She then proceeded to talk very rudely to him about me. Him wanting to keep his job, he kept it professional & ignored her. She then proceeded to tell her employees that she'll get his # rather I was there or not & continued to talk badly about me.
The woman was very rude, unprofessional & does not value her job as a manager.
customer service
Jessica at the dollar tree located in Oviedo store #6513 was SUPER BAD EDUCATED AND RUDE. People should treat people with decency not like maybe the way she is trsted at her house. I tslked to the store managers dshewss very decent and polite. People like JESSICA make me wonder if I should spend my money at your store. I will also make a public comment about that horrific experience we had. Unacceptable behavior. If she was working at my store she would be automatically fired.
store has no a/c
I was recently in Store# 1509 which is located in Shallotte, NC they had no A/C. I went back to the same store a week later (9/13/17) and still no A/C. This is the south, we have more hot days then cold. I asked the store employee when they would have the air fixed and they said they were told it could be up to 3 months. Come on people, if you want us to shop in your stores; the least you can do is provide a comfortable atmosphere.
