I was at the Dollar Tree in Wilson NC on Wednesday afternoon October 4, 2017 ( store # 5224 ) and the cashier SHARON ( blonde hair ) was very RUDE to my children. She was yelling and screaming at my children. I did not appreciate her yelling at my children and telling them what to do. She walked around and made my children put items back that they had touched. That's my job, NOT HERS. Very unprofessional. I very unhappy with my visit at that store ! I was so ashamed I had to leave the store.
cashier
I shopped at the Dollar Tree in the Plaza on State St. in New Albany, IN. on Tuesday 10-03-2017 around 230 p.m. Cashier named Amila waited on me and she was extremely unfriendly and RUDE. I dont understand why people like this have a job dealing with the public cause it is plan to see she doesn't enjoy or even like being around people. It would be in the best interest of the company to get rid of her. I will not shop at this store again as long as she is employed there. I was not the only one complaining and hopefully not the only one reporting her.
Thank You,
I'm complaining about the service from the manger
Corporate Office of Dollar Tree,
This letter is about the experience I encountered at your store located at 2840 Chapel Hill Road Douglasville, GA. 30135 on September 29, 2017 at 5:55pm. As I often do, I would stop at the Dollar Tree store that is in my community to pick up items however on September 29, 2017 it was a celebration that I wanted to be a part of and I made a conscience effort to stop at the Dollar Tree store to pick up 25 balloons. To no avail, could I ever imagine the havoc I would have encountered on September 29, 2017. Once I walked in the store I was shocked to see a very long line of customers with only one cashier present with 18 customers in line. I was customer 19 in line until someone behind me joined in. I waited in line until I decided to go see if I could locate someone in the store to assist the cashier that was currently assisting the 20 people that were currently in line. I proceeded to knock on the store manger’s door due to the line moving very slowly. As I knocked on the door I heard a loud obnoxious female voice screaming at me on the other side of the door to stop knocking on the door. I stop knocking and explain to the young lady through the closed door that the line was very long and the young lady (cashier) on the register needed help assisting the customers. She opened the door and said to me “stop knocking” on the door because she was busy and closed the door in my face. I was very humiliated and in disbelief. I know Dollar Tree does not permit this type of behavior from your employees nor this type of chaos confusion in your stores. As I was walking away the employee came out the office to open another register. I proceeded to get back in line to make my purchase for the balloons for my celebration that I was attending. Since the young lady came out of the office and decided to opened up another line, I shift over in that line because I was pressed for time and it was shorter.
As I get closer to be waited on after standing in the line for over 15 minutes, the cashier proceeds to LOOK OVER ME and started assisting the person behind me. I questioned the cashier on why was she assisting someone behind me instead of me since I was the next person in line to be waited on standing directly in FRONT of her. She verbally stated to me that she was not waiting on me and she did not have to. At this moment, I asked her for her name; she didn’t respond to my question so I noticed her name tag that read Manager – Cassandra. I expressed my displeasure to another customer in line and the Manager-Cassandra of the store denied my service to make my purchase for the balloons. When I spoke and stated how I felt about her behavior she walked away and came back with the phone calling 911 for the police to come to the store due to me asking her over and over to place my order for the balloons. I have never in the years of being a consumer have been treated rudely and to escalate her calling the police. I spoke to the police and in ending I never got a chance to purchase the balloons.
I am a regular customer, I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this location and I have never had any problems in the past. I am positive this is NOT the way you train your employees to service YOUR customers. Cassandra is oblivious to the way she treats your customers. That should not be acceptable and she should be accountable for her actions. I would like someone to follow up with me about this situation. I have lived in Douglasville for over 20 years and I can honestly say I have never encountered this type of behavior from anyone that work in the neighborhood stores. I am also concerned with the lack of understanding I received from the staff member who manages your store. I don't know if she merely misunderstood my request, but she refused to let me make my purchase and resulted in calling the police. It’s clear to me that she needs more training on how to interact with the customers that come into the store. Cassandra displayed unprofessionalism and I am sure Dollar Tree have extensive training for their employees to serve their customers.
yes it is
abusive boss/employer
My employer susan hired me for freight at the Oregon city shopping center, but the woman who works in the morning named Lynne treats all products poorly. throws them around on the ground and even at the employees. (Mostly me)
She talks to me like i have down syndrome calling me an idiot and stupid. She doesn't give much direction on how things are supposed to be done then yells and calls me names because its not the way she wants it when she never specifically specifies.
She never trained me. Just made me do the courses on the computer and expected me to know where everything supposed to go. And if it's not how she never trained me for she throws it on the ground expects me to pick it up and reorganize.
No employee deserves this abuse. I don't feel safe nor comfortable working in a harmful and abusive environment. I'm putting my 2 weeks notice in and Ce la vie.
cleanliness of store
I love Dollar Tree.. I shopped there for all my children's bday party supplies and now I do my grandchildren as well.. I went into the Dollar tree on Inner Perimeter Rd in Valdosta, Ga and it was disgustingly nasty.. Stuff was scattered everywhere in the store.. Some isles you couldn't walk down and God forbid the filth in the floor.. I will never go back to that store again.. It was disgusting and I love my Dollar Tree's.. Never ever been in one like this and won't go back..
I am complaining about a manager at dollar tree named anthony castiglia
I worked at dollar tree and was having an issue with an employee and asked my manager if he coukd switch my shifts so I was. Not working with the one employee and he ignored my problems and everything. One day me and the 1 emoyee got into an argument and my. Manager anthony told me I should quit my job and put my 2 weeks in or get fired. So I put my 2 weeks in and he told me not to come back and that I was not longer allowed in the store. I feel that I should not have been fired or had to quit and feel he went about everything in a wrong way. I would love some feedback. This happened aroing july 2nd 2017. This was at dollar tree on 7 northern drive in troy n. Y.. I was also robbed while I was working there and was very nervous and had bad anxiety when cashing out. My manager did nothing to help or to make me feel more comfortable about the situation.
customer service
I shopped at Hylan Blvd Staten Island NY store this morning. October 1st. I was shocked by manager and cashier disrespectful behavior. I asked for help returning my basket to front of store. They refused. I was told that's my job. I will never shop there again. I hope some one reads this and takes it serious. These women should not be dealing with customers.
store and manager
The Frankfort indiana store is awful. Always messy, boxes everywhere, can never get what I need, and the manager is a total [censor]. The rudest person I've met. She has poor customer service and interaction. Idk her name but she's tall with short brown hair. I've waited outside the store for her to open it for over an hour a week ago. Bullcrap! I will now start shopping at the dollar tree in the next town over. I'm fed up with the poor customer service and store up keep. Please fix this bull. Thank you.
store manager miriam in el paso tx at n. yarbrough
The store manager there is very rude I've been going to the store forever and she doesn't help you out in where to find things she points while she walks again very nasty and also the customer restrooms is very disgusting never toilet paper and it stinks I had to ask for toilet paper and when you ask for it they give you attitude...Very unprofessional
service
I realize that your stores cater basically to a lower income coustermer, Nevertheless, your employees should be trained in proper sanitary procedures. I went to one of your stores, went through the register, paid the cashier. She counted out my change by licking her fingers to grab each bill. This day and age, this conduct is highly inappropriate. My advice would be to issue each cashier with those little wet sponges, that every respectable store has, and instruct them how to use it. Chances are, you probably sell them. Thank you.
I'm sorry you had to experience that Jeff. I work at a Dollar Tree in Massachusetts and I've had customers do the same to me while I was ringing them up (and my store is stand-alone, situated at the heart of a low-income neighborhood). Talk about disgusting!
manager acting very hateful.
Today I visited store #965 in Williamsburg. There was a gentleman/manager, or someone of apparent importance there, who was truly hateful, rude & acting like a complete bully to the employees. Hollering at them as if they didn't have a brain, downgrading them, speaking so loudly he could be heard from one side of the store to the other, while they were stocking shelves! Even if these employees are "problematic", take them in the back and fix the situation! Doing it in the store, where you have paying customers, if completely unacceptable! I can NOT imagine working under this man! He was horrible, bullying, rude, obnoxious, hateful & just out and out mean! And to add to this, he never once bothered to open a box and help stock the shelves. But he sure found the time to stop hollering at those stocking to go outside with a female associate to smoke a cigarette! I literally walked out of that store completely dumbfounded that someone would be that ugly to people in public.
I will not be returning to this store!
unauthorized credit card charges
On 8/25/17 I visited store to purchase goods for a company event and used my corporate purchasing card. When it came time to reconcile my statement I noticed an unauthorized charge of $99.95 on 8/26/17 for a Showtime PPV Fight Event, which I did not purchase. My last use of this card was 8/25 at the Dollar Tree. I was not able to get the name of the person who used the card from Showtime and contacted the manager, Paul at the store and just explained to him that this could have happened at his store as I did not use it anywhere else. We both didn't know how it could have happened since I used the chip. I don't recall if cashier asked to see my card, as some do in other establishments. Paul said he had video footage and would take a look and call me back in 30-60 mins. As of two days later no word from him and I stopped in store and left a message for him to call me. The cashier said he was coming in that evening. That was on 9/21 and still no response from him. This is suspicious to me because if there was nothing on video or if there was, I would think he would let me know, UNLESS, and I am only guessing, somehow he was the one who stole my credit card number. I just wanted to make you aware of how unprofessional this manager is to say he will call you back and never does. This was my favorite Dollar Tree store, but with management like that, I don't want to give them my business. If possible I would like some resolution of this as I am concerned how my credit card information was stolen from me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

assault
I was at your store shopping when I went to reach for a can on the bottom shelf the store manager grab my butt. I turned around and said what are you doing? He said I thought it was my wife. I can't believe you allow this at your stores and you allow anyone to run the store. I will never shop there again. It was the store on Daniela in fort Myers 04327 the only positive was the cashier she was helpful and told me he was the store manager.

cleanliness of store
We have a fairly new store located in Oswego, NY. I'm not sure if there is a new manager of this store but it is filthy. The floors throughout the store are so dirty. The bathroom is pretty disgusting too. I actually brought it to the managers attention and she said there just isn't time to get everything done. I just went in today and is worse than months ago. Each time I go is dirtier. It hasn't been cleaned. It was a beautiful store. I know it's a cheap store to shop at but they should still have pride in their store.
customer services
09-10-2017 the employee's of the dollar tree in Waldport Oregon are very RUDE they yell at there customer's, never look you in the face when asking where you might find something you are looking for, I witnessed that myself twice! not one of there employee's ever smiled or asked if you need help finding something. I will NEVER go the again and will tell everyone I know too not shop there they are very RUDE. If they don't want to work with the public then they need to move on. I truly hope that when I go back to see if there is any change's they will be friendly at which point I might consider shopping there again but NOT before!

To whom it may concern:
I, Marie Smith, was in the Dollar Tree store located in Willmar, MN store #3715 on the date of 09/14/2017 around 5:30pm.
When I witnessed a horrific display of rudeness by the store cashier named Brittany and the store manger named Kassandra,
directed towards two male customers and an employee ending her shift.
As I was waiting to be checked out, the two male customers were looking through the balloons, which was also located next to the office.
At no fault to the males, the cashier Brittany, proceeded to rudely turn around an state "Could you not stand behind me, an I don' t like people behind me?"
I was astounded, I was in the very first check out line, there were 3 others behind the employee.
Not only was this the only issue, immediately afterwards, the manager loudly and carelessly, placed a phone call and stated that the female employee was short $45.00
from her till, and publicly accused handing the above said amount of money to the male customers.
This clearly would have been impossible as the office was open, however the two gentleman where not even close enough to be handed said money.
I and other customers clearly, verbally stated they would not returning to this store due such lack of concern and privacy of all offended parties.
Shortly after I had left the store the employee whom was so publicly embarrassed step out, clearly in despair.
I questioned her if it would be possible to review the security cameras to assist in sorting this out, she stated none of them worked, and that they drop her hours and told her return the following week.
I sincerely would hope that you would take this incident under advisement, and sort this out and properly reprimand the store manager.
If you have any further questions, feel free to email at the contact below.

Marie Smith

I work for this dollar tree, and my manager is Sophy Phork, a recent incident has occurred while a new supervisor was there, where both bathrooms seemed to have been clogged, as I unclogged the toilets, the drain pipe on the floor had shot out nasty stuff, and made a very foul smell, as I called sophy to inform her, and asked that she came back since was still in parking lot, her response was "the bathrooms we're working fine when I was there" then as I explained to her the situation her phone mysteriously shuts off and never had called back, I find it highly unprofessional that she would abandon her own store like that, as for me and the supervisor and cleaned up the mess and got the toilets working, for the main manager to abandon a new supervisor without being trained fully on what should be done if incidents like this we're to happen, I'm in hopes that there is a report done about this
