The cashier named Val was very rude and unprofessional. She was very nice to the customers ahead of me in line. She was giving me dirty looks and did not greet me in any way. When i approached so she can scan my items she sighed as if she was disgusted. I was with two young children who also felt it was rude. She did not say a word, no have a nice day or nothing when giving me my reciept? Also, she shoved the reciept into my hand and gave me a dirty piercing hateful look. I was very uncomfortable and did not want to make a big stink of it because my children were present. I've been shopping there for years and have never been treated so nasty. She should be fired asap. She comes off like a very miserable person. Other customers in the store noticed and thought maybe we've had an issue in the past or something, i have never seen her before and hope to never see her again.

I shop at Dollar Tree very often because its convenient and my sons loves to get items from there for good behavior. On tonight I stopped into this store and my son went to the toy aisle as he always does. He started playing with toy helicopters like 2 or 3 in the beginning of the aisle. I walked away and went to the next aisle. A few minutes later I heard a female voice saying. Did you take all those toys out? I then heard my son say No I only took these out. I proceeded to walk to the toy aisle because I knew my son was on that aisle and it was possible she was talking to my son. I asked what the problem was and Mrs Ann, who was the worker walked off and was talking saying pick all this stuff up she was just on that aisle and that stuff wasn't in the floor. I told Mrs Ann that he didn't put all that stuff in the floor and it was only playing with the stuff that he had in his hand. Mrs Ann was on the next aisle and she was still talking towards my son saying you did take those toys out you telling a lie. So of course I got heated at this point and I began to raise my voice telling Mrs Ann to not continue to talk about the issue especially since my son was picking up the toys even the ones that he didn't take out. Mrs Ann was very rude towards a 6 year old and I felt she should have addressed me instead of my 6 year old son. My son began to cry the manager came over and Mrs Ann told the manager to go ahead and write her up and that she didn't care. I told Mrs Ann she shouldn't work a customer service job is she couldn't show good customer service. The manager consoled my son and bought him a toy, which was nice of her. Mrs Ann still continued to speak so I asked the manager for her last name and nobody knew suddenly. So I asked for the store #. In the process of the arguing a guy and his son who seemed to be Korean or Chinese came to pick up toys and they were speaking in their language. My thoughts were that it was him who took the other toys out. The other workers at the store asked me to calm down and that stated that Mrs Ann is always like that about her toy aisle. I understand her wanted a clean area but she took it too far especially speaking to a 6 yo like that. I don't even talk to my son like that. I always teach him to be honest no matter of the consequences. Mrs Ann is very mean and rude. I feel as if she shouldn't work there. I will not be going back to that store as long as she works there. I feel that cameras should be reviewed so that it will be noted that my son didn't take those other toys out. I had recently visited store number 6511 in Rensselaer, NY. While arriving at the store I noticed your assistant manager ( Her badge said Jade) hanging all over a guy instead of working. She was very rude and unprofessional to other customers which Im assuming is because she didnt want to be distracted from this guy. She left her coworkers to do all the work and refused to help customers. As being a former assistant manager in retail sales myself, I know that fraternizing at work and poor customer service is unacceptable. Turns out I know the guy she was all over and she sends him texts and calls asking him to meet her at the store. Texts talking about having sex during her shift. I am completely appalled by this and have since refused to visit that store as well as advising other to do the same. I have children and I do not want to worry about bringing my children to the store and see your assistant manager being sexually inappropriate. Due to the fact that I know the guy I have also expressed these feelings to him but he may not be the only one. I have messages between them where you can see for yourself if you would like.

On 4/24 my girls ages 10 and 5 needed to use the restroom at Santa Paula California dollar tree. I walked in with them and it was more than disgusting, enough for us to decide to go to another store to use the potty. I let the manager know how bad it was and she said "I cleaned it today so I don't know what to tell you!" My girls and I left extremely upset and grossed out. We are regulars at Santa Paula dollar tree and are not sure we will be purchasing anything from there again! I took pictures! There was no toilet paper, paper towels were on floor, no toilet liners, sink was dirty and gross, toilet had poop in it and on it, walls were full of tagged writing, floors were filthy, no soap in dispenser! Super gross and unsanitary! Please help fix this.

I am filing a complaint due to the fact that there is a new manager in the Lancaster south Carolina store. Since he has been there there has been more product out then usual but the store I a wreck. I cant get down the snack aisles of someone else is on it because there is so many stacks of boxes you can't get around them. I doubt if a wheel chair can fit past the boxes which now makes it a violation because it is too difficult for the disabled to shop. Everytime I go there now I'm getting out of date chips or out of date cookies and crackers. Because the product is not being properly rotated which is another violation. The product is scattered in various places on the aisle rather than being grouped together which makes the store look very trashy. The shelves are extremely dirty and dusty. For the most part the staff is very friendly and nice but there is this one lady who is so loud and stands around gossiping that it almost makes you not want to shop at all. She is white really short and wears glasses. Its great that there is product on the shelf but there need to be more organization because it looks like stuff is literally being thrown everywhere.

Called Greenbrier Inter.at 757-321-5900on 4/11/17. Was told someone would return my call...never did. called 4/18, and 4/19, was told someone would call me back...never did. On 4/11/17 I was eating a bag of nuts and got toward the end and put the bag to my mouth to finish the bag and bit down on something hard. I'm thinking it must be a shell. When I checked it was a piece of glass! Spit the rest out in a napkin and there was more smaller pieces! I sure would like to talk to someone about this and not be avoided. What if that would have been a child eating this bag? I guess no one cares as I haven't heard fro anybody.

I was shopping with my kids at the Portland Dollar Tree, as I've done for the past 7 years. My 4 year old had a few iteams in his hand, a clerk with dark curly hair approched us asking my son if the wrapper on the floor was his. I said "no, " unaware that my son had opened trade cards and threw the wrapper on the floor. When the clerk pointed out that he had the cards, i picked up the wrapper and added it to the rest of the iteams i was going to pay for. I was a line with a few people ahead of me. This clerk stood there looking over the cashiers shoulder until it was my turn just to make sure i paid for this 1 iteam my son had opened, making me feel disrespected, humiliated, offended, and embarrassed around all the customers. Never have I had a problem at that store!

Almost Every time I go in the store manager of the Carroll location is standing around doing nothing, or she is complaining about the costumers infront of others. I love going in but her and the manager below her are always making fun of people. the manager under them is always helpful and happy. it seems she is the only one that does any work there and she is so tired when I see her. its like the other managers are making her do there job. I do not think the store manager is fit for management at all and should be terminates. I was a manager of a place at one time and it I ever treated anyone like they treat her I would have been fired. I wish there was a slavery section because that's what its like. Dollar tree needs to stop picking favorites.

I don't know what has happened but shame on the district managers for allowing it. This used to be the most Pleasant, clean, full store to shop at in the Sacramento/ Elk Grove area now you walk in the shelves are stocked but you're lucky if you can find a worker who you can understand or they can't understand you. The store manager is rude, short when spoken to and would rather hold the conversation with one of her employees then to greet and speak to her customers. When a customer asks for help it's more as if we are a burden rather than she's there to help us. There are no familiar faces, within the last four months the staff has changed completely it would be one thing if the old stuff was being replaced with new friendly helpful staff but instead it's being replaced with rude, inconsiderate, unhelpful, see you and turn their head type of staff. And don't think to ask for the store manager so you can file a complaint because again you are a burden to her and she makes it obvious she doesn't care about what you're concerns. I've been told she's fairly new to the store and she's making changes. Well I wish someone would intervene with her changes and better yet question the judgement of person who hired her aboard. Her do call changes are horrible, and us as customers are not liking them. I will no longer shop at this Sheldon store I will take my business to the Elk Grove store or back to the 99 cent store. It's very unfortunate because this used to be my happy place!

On 4/16/2017 at 2433 Ridge Road, Lansing IL I was appalled by an employee that works here. I am requesting for video footage to be pulled up. I am not sure of your range, but I pray its wide enough to verify. This young lady was driving so reckless I was surprised no one was hurt. As I was driving to the dollar store she was tailgating me and then jumped in front of me and cut me off. As I was headed to the dollar store, so was she. She pulled up and parked which we were three spaces away from each other. As I pulled up and parked I, noticed the store didn't open until 9:00 a.m, I was discussing with my husband did he want to wait or come back. Low and behold she gets out her truck goes to the door and turns around and starts yelling. My window is up (as you will see in the video), I put the window down to hear what she was saying. I was every name in the book except my government. She stated I was ignorant, rude and driving like I was a #####. Then she faced the door stating he better hurry up and open this door (as if there would have been a physical altercation is how I took it). This is my neighborhood dollar store that I consistently shop with my family. The behavior of your employee and not knowing how she will react, I can no longer shop here. She didn't care that she was on the property of her job and probably knew she was being recorded.

The manager at the Northumberland store was witnessed yelling at an employee, in front of other employees and customers. Any reprimanding or the like should be done in private and not in front of anyone. Yelling shouldn't be a part of how managers reprimand and/or educate their staff. This is the definition of a hostile work environment.
I do not have the specific date as the employee is afraid of backlash from the manager. This incident, though the most extreme of happenings, isn't an isolated event.

I was an Asst.Mgr for almost a year. I was assualted by an employee there due to a disagreement about my attendance. My store manager instantly took his side because our store manger has been dating his sister.
Its a lot of favoritism at the store, harldy no professionalism, and a store Mgr who doesnt care.

I never got my w-2 because dollar tree has incorrect email address for me. I have written and requested they correct but they never did. I finally got someone in payroll department and she told me to send a $7 money order for a duplicate w-2 which I did and I never received. I have tried to call this person but she is never there and her mailbox is always full. I need my w-2. It has been over a month since I sent the money order.
