brach's maple nut goodies
I bought this product at 3 different Dollar Trees. The date on them were 10-20-17 all bags I bought were stale. I went into dollar tree today and bought 2 bags of them with the dare on them 11/21/17 and they are stale yet again. I'm not a happy camper. I've traveled store to store looking for this product with a different date no such luck. If it is because its the dollar store and you send them the products that aren't made correctly or have gone bad just not to lose out and still make a $1 a bag that's just ridiculous. I'm pretty disappointed with your products now. You need to be aware of this product. I buy them everyday and now you have lost a customer.
frozen foods
I went to a dollar tree on 18 march 2017. I love to visit dollar tree, but on this day was not a good one, the store was a complete disapointment. The shelves were not stocked, an the ones that had products on them, the stuff was on the floor an there were boxes all over. And expired frozen food in the freezer with the date 1-2016. Need to close on sunday's to stock store the way they should be...
hours of operation
This store has missed no telling how much in sales this morning because the doors are still locked at 10:40am and were suppose to be open at 10am. I have personally watched TWENTY different people (not including myself) pull up, go to door and leave. If the sign says open at 10am then the doors should be open at 10am! Everyone loves this store fir the prices, but i witnessed a bunch of angry customers this morning! I've worked retail before in my younger days, there should always be a back up so things like this do not happen!
one of your supervisors store #3300
Today 3/18/2017 my husband & I went into the dollar tree in philadelphia store #3300 which we visit a lot today around 10:15 we are shopping and over hear someone talking very loud and using profanity so we continued to shop & it just was unbearable to continue to enjoy my shopping and have to listen to that. So I asked one of the employees that was on the floor if I could speak to a manager regarding what I was hearing and she informed me that the person speaking was the manager, so she went to the back to tell her that we were complaining about her language and profanity and she proceeded to say ### us so my husband turned around and walked to the end of the isle and he could see the door where she was standing and said we heard what you said and she just stood there with no apology or nothing. She was the day manager her name was brittney and that was unacceptable to have employees that really act in that way and have no compassion for customers or their job. I will not visit that store again an may not shop at another dollar tree again due to this issue. I don't want to spend my money where i'm not appreciated & especially when I help pay your salary. I never want to see anyone loss their job but this one is a bad seed she should be terminated effective today.
lack of training.
So I had recently gotten employed by dollar tree in Lubbock TX on 50th and boston . There are lots of problems with this location . As soon as I got there an argument between two employees happened as they were working. I should have taken this as a hint of how bad this location was. The drama continued during my week and a half there . I shadowed a cashier for 5 minutes before they put me on a register without any proper training . The following day I got in trouble for not knowing the proper procedure with the balloons . Note ... I had been there for 2 days . So I wasn't made aware of anything . And the managers didn't feel the need to train me about anything what so ever . I got told on my last day that I was suppose to know what to do without training because I watched a video . That day she got angry with me for not knowing how to do a return... When once again I was not trained on how to do one . I had to teach myself how to properly run a check because I didn't want to get yelled at for not knowing how once again . Day 4 I needed to void a transaction, so I called the manager in the store which was Delia . Voiding a transaction so seems like it would be something a manager would know how to do right ? Well she didn't even know how to do one . I had to turn off my light . Delia called a manager to ask how to do one . She couldn't get a hold of anyone so she kept the customer waiting for 10 minutes. By the end the customer was overly frustrated and annoyed. It's pretty bad when a manager isn't even trained properly . I'm not sure how dollar tree has allowed someone to be left in charge if she doesn't even know how to do her job or teach others to do theirs . I voiced my concern to the main manager Kim and she got mad at me and made the comment about how I watched a video so I should know . It's pretty obvious why the turn over rate at that store is so high. In the future dollar tree should consider who they put in charge . Especially when the managers don't know what they're doing .
associate
Me and my kids visit the local dollar tree several times a month. As a single father its hard financially when you have been laid off work and had been off due to cancer and the dollar tree seem to be the place for spoiling the kids. Until our last visit, I will not spend any of my money at dollar tree again. Reason is a rude associate and being rude to my kids. She stopped me and told me I cold not leave my kids alone, so I paused like this was a joke right as I am not 5 feet from them and I look at them and look at her and my 18 year old is standing inches from them. I asked her are you sure about that when there is an adult with them, she said yes I to be with all of them. Keep in mind she was advised my son is 18 and I believe that is still the legal age of an adult if she wanted to technical about kids. I could understand if I had walked away from a 2 year old and left him alone which would have never happened anyway but the rudeness of her and her insult about my kids as if an 18 year old is not old enough to be near my toddler his brother was just rude and even after advising her of his age she could care less. She only cared about being bossy and showing she is in control at that store which is the worst customer service anywhere. I am only sending this to advise you that your associate cost your company money. I spend 20 dollars every week in that store on the kids and I will not spend another dime there because there is no such thing as customer service for her, its about her an her job and not dealing with the public. My kids was not even acting up and doing anything and I do take offense to any one trying to tell me how to raise my kids. Especially a retail associate more worried about weather she may have to put something back verses someone spending money at your store. It all counts to the company's end. Of course me not shopping there is not going to damage dollar tree but it shows how much of a rude associate she is because no matter how good prices may be there are other places to shop at with very similar prices on goods. You are more than welcome to contact me via email at [protected]@gmail.com
the lady at the register was rude
I went to dollar tree today on Friday March 17, 2017 to purchase some items. I asked the lady I only have $100.00 dollars can you accept it because this is the only money I have and I know it is a Hugh bill. The lady at the register got upset with an attitude and said you should have said somwthing. Her attitude was rude. She had a bad attitude, she was not friendly at all. She act like she did not want to rang me up. And when I first went to the resigister I said hello. She did not speak. Customer service there is very bad. The location there is "Dollar Tree Store Store# 2268 6829 Pearl Rd. Middleburg Hts. Ohio 44130 phone number [protected]. The time was 2:00PM.
unethical behavior of an employee
3/10/17
I went to Dollar Tree to get a few things and this lady was behind me in the line, we got to talking while the lady was getting waited on in front of me and the cashier was very loud and rude. Her name is Reggie. she took the marker up from my stuff and instead of stopping with just my stuff she kept on ringing it up and ran the other lady stuff up with mine as well, the lady was mad and I was too. I spent a lot of money there and for Reggie to do this is not something I can let go.
this isn't the first time she has done something like this, but I let it go that time, but she has gotten worse..
the 2nd one is: 3/13/17
Reggie again, she got on the phone at the register and ask for help as she said that we (my daughter and I ) had too much stuff and she ask my daughter all kinds of questions of what she was going to do with the stuff and everything. it is none of her business what my daughter is going to do with it, it is getting to the point that we will go to another dollar tree instead of this one which is closer to us.
Reggie don't point no one else out but us and she say how much our amount is and how change, if I paid with food stamps, she give that info out as well.
She needs to be let go, she is very loud, rude and no manners what so ever. she don't like waiting on us and if they don't do something with her, we will go else where and or if I go there I wont let her wait on me anymore, I cant stand her!
Something has to be done, she carrying on too much in the line and she don't look that clean.
out of stock everyday items
As a former retail manager with 40+ years experience it bothers me when
I go to several stores here in the Nashville TN. region and find the stores in total disrepair empty shelves. stock carts sitting for several days without items on the shelves. When I ask for the items I am told we don't have time
to look or the truck didn't bring the items I am looking for. I sold my stock
in Family Dollar to Dollar Tree and was happy to think your company was
the one to do my business with but I guess I was wrong. Managers need to be taught that if they don't scan the outs order the right products the company
will send items to meet the stores max retail dollar footage. thanks for listening. Robert F. Foye
sales associate angel
I am wanting to complain about the service that I received from your sales associate Angel at the Dollar Tree in Laurinburg, NC (store # 1039). I brought about 23 items back to exchange. She acted like she had a problem with the amount of items that she had to exchange for me. At one point during the exchange she got an attitude and threw an item back on the checkout area and went to look for the manager because she could not get the exchange to go the correct way. Once she located the manager named Debbie I heard her tell her that I brought this mess back to exchange. Plus I do not know if she was just tried or on something but she was just plainly unprofessional. Ms. Debbie took over the exchange. Another thing that bothered me was that another customer wanted her the help her get an Easter basket unstuck from some other baskets and she didn't have a problem doing that. I am sorry but if she does not know how to have respect for ALL customers then she does not have a right having a job in customer services. I loved shopping at Dollar Tree until today. I now will buy my merchandise for double/triple the price at other stores that offer great services. Catherine Owens [protected]@gmail.com [protected]
bag checker
I entered the Dollar Tree in Washington DC on Benning Road N.E.before 2 p.m. on March 14th 2017.I knew from a previous visit they used to have someone at the door to take your outside bags and check them. I did not see anyone when I entered the store so I began to enter the store with my bags then of a male told me that I had to check my bag. I said you weren't at the door and he was rather unprofessional and somewhat nastily said well I don't have to be at the door there lockers over there. I had to looked around and he then said I was just coming in with my bags. if I was so I didn't know that they had lockers I don't come there often now, so he could have said excuse me Miss you can you please put your bags in a little. I left instead of going through any more hassle I left because I thought he was doing he was rude and unprofessional and he could have directed me in a more professional manner.I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT THIS location again.my email is [protected]@yahoo.com
customer service and awesome refill spill
I'm a loyal dollar tree customer and usually spend about $40 every time I visit. I either have to go to Ohio or Kentucky to go to a dollar tree since I live in lawrenceburg Indiana. They're about 30 min from me, so no matter which location I choose, I have to drive about 30 min. I have been to the Harrison Ohio dollar tree numerous times, and every time I go, the employees are so loud and rude, yelling and cussing at each other from across the store and talking about their personal lives with a store full of customers. On one occasion, a cashier had her light on, and after people had put everything on the belt of her register, she would tell them to go to a different register that didn't have her her light on. The line was so backed up and people had 20+ items on her register belt that they would then have to put back in their cart and go stand in a huge line. On February 2, 2017, I had spent $42 on products, and like I said, had to drive 30 min there and 30 min back. I had gotten home only to realize that my awesome refill had spilled all over everything I had bought. They're always sealed and have the lid on tight, but apparently I had picked up one that wasn't sealed with the cap barely on. I feel as if the employees were doing their jobs, they would notice something wasn't sealed and to take it off the shelf. So I spent $42, and spent an hour of my time driving to and from this dollar tree, wasting my gas money and time only to have to throw everything I had bought away because this chemical that's always sealed had spilled on everything I had bought. Not to mention the fact that I had to clean up a huge mess on my floor after throwing everything away. I've called customer service about 5 times and left numerous messages. This happened a month and a half ago and I've never gotten an apology or a phone call from everyone. I sat on the phone for 30 min one day only to be transferred to another voicemail. I'm extremely upset about how poor the customer service is and upset with all of the money I've wasted on this horrible shopping trip and I can't even get an apology from anyone. This is ridiculous and I will not be shopping at this dollar tree anymore and will have to think hard before I walk into another dollar tree again. As a customer who always spends a decent amount of money, I expect to be treated well when shopping and expect at least an apology after 40 items I had purchased had to go into the trash.
harassment from the store manager
On two occasions of visiting the Dollar Tree in El Campo, Tx, I was harassed by whom I believe to be the store manager (Kathy Richardson). The first time was March of 2016. The most recent visit was March 3, 2017. During this visit she tried to bump me and she verbally assaulted me. Accusing me very loudly of sleeping with her husband. I am a respectable Christian woman with a respectable career in this town. It was very insulting and hurtful to have her speak such lies in this public setting. I decided against filing a complaint at the time because I'm sure she's acting out of anger-- although her anger is misplaced--but she is continuing to harass me. Today I was served with a no trespass order while on my job. I decided to file this complaint out of fear of what this woman may do next. Thank you in advance for your help.

staff
staff in Spencerport, NY is so rude, useless, grumpy especially older ladies working there on 03/09 in the morning, bad customer service.Every time I come they are just so unprofessional and short tempered, this store is closest to my apartment but because of them I will have to go to another store, having a bad staff you lose customers and this people should be more polite and helpful
store is never fully stocked
the shelves are always empty from health aids, to cleaning supplies, to laundry supplies, trash bags, mops, coffee, headache medicine, cough syrup and other items carried by the other dollar tree stores in the surrounding area.the neighborhood was very happy to have a store in our area, but because of the lack of merchandise we still must go outside of area. when you ask about out of stock items you are told they will be in after the delivery on thurs. or fri., you go back and shelves are still empty. there was a family dollar at this location and it transferred to dollar tree, is it being ran by the same manager? often because this is a low income area, we get companies that does not supply us with the level of service offered elsewhere.this has been ongoing for at least the last 3 to 4 months, please check it out. store #6504

cashier and manager would not refill my greendot card
I had an issue today at a Dollar Tree in Mohnton, PA The Cashier Brian was not aware of how to refill a GreenDot card, he mumbled under his breath if I can remember how to do this, then told me if I did not purchase the card at that store he could not refill it, I told him to ask a manager and the manager also said they do not refill GreenDot cards when I have refilled my Green Dot Card many times before at other Dollar Tree stores, was upset because I had to travel to another city in order to refill my GreenDot card. Someone should look into this because this is my nearest Dollar tree and would hate to have to travel far every time I need to refill my GreenDot card.
racial and verbal abuse complaint towards manager - teresa
I'm a frequent customer at Dollar Tree store 03282 and I'm very displeased with the racial profiling and verbal abuse that I have seen come from a Manager name Teresa!
She is verbally abusive towards the co-workers she is very racist and she has called me a very disrespectful racist name during one visit. I've witnessed Teresa on other occasions laughing at handicap customers to the extent that another employee told her to stop and Teresa proceeds to curse at the employee and tell that employee to mind their business. I have called corporate office to complain about this because first I know there are policies to protect customers and employees from this type of verbal and racial profiling abuse! If action isn't taken then my next action is to contact our local news stations because we the customer are the ones who keep you in business.
I visited the Dollar Tree Store #05287 on 3/2/17 and the Assistant Manager (Dottie) was very rude to a employee using profanity at him and I asked her to please watch her language due to my 2 small children and she looked at me like I was crazy and mouthed the words f_ck you and kept using profanity at the employee and I heard the employee tell her she had best quit using that type of language before it gets too nasty and she told the employee to clock out and get the f_uck out of the store. The Dollar Tree has lost my business and other family members and friends of mine. The Public needs to be informed on how the Dollar tree is NOT family oriented
cashier accused me of stealing after she rang me up and refuses to apologize
Dollar tree store #4560, 880 nw 125th street, north miami, fl 33161, [protected]. 3/01/17 13:09. at 1:09 pm I checked out with a total purchase of $4.28. I gave the cashier yulith $5.28 and she returned my $1.00 change to me. receipt # [protected] [protected]
I exit the store and am in my car backing up when the cahier yulith runs out to my car and says, hey, you didn't pay for your stuff. I gather my (2) bags containing a coca cola, extra gum, aaa batteries and (2) newspapers (.50 each). I show her the receipt for the purchase and say to her that you just rung me up, don't you remember, she says oh after looking at my receipt and proceeds back into the store. I said aren't you at least going to apologize, she kept walking. as she gets a little closer to the store entrance, I yell out again, "aren't you going to at least apologize". she throws her hand up at me to gesture "go on or whatever" and goes back into the store.
I then pull back into the same parking space, cut my car off and go back into the store. I immediately see a supervisor elisabeth leaving the balloon area. I explain to her (the supervisor) that the cashier accused me of stealing, ran out to my car, and refused to apologize when she realized that I hadn't left the store without paying for my stuff. I showed the supervisor elisabeth my receipt and she and I walked to the register where the cashier was. they began to speak in spanish and the cashier yulith shakes her head no. the supervisor then tells me that she said that she is not apologizing because I yelled at her. I told her that I asked her several times to apologize before I raised my voice. she refused and the supervisor said that I will have a talk with her later. I told her that that wasn't good enough, that I deserved an apology after she embarassed me in front of other customers and accused me of stealing.
The supervisor elisabeth asked her several times in spanish to apologize and the cashier yulith refused. she kept ringing customers and ignoring me like I wasn't even there. I then proceeded to tell her that I was calling the corporate office to complain about her. I took her name and told her that since she couldn't apologize, I would have corporate make her apologize. I told her that her pride would probably cost her her job. I then proceeded to tell her that you can't just run after people and accuse them of stealing without proof, and that dollar tree could be sued for something like that. I then said one more time, so are you apologizing or are not? she yelled out sorry!
My (2) complaints are: (1) you should train your employees not to accuse people of stealing or not paying for their purchases without first having proof. (2) if your employee is in the wrong, they should want to apologize. had she first apologized, this complaint would never had been filed.
