I didn't file a complaint
I received a notice from a seller that I had filed a complaint against them for an item I bought, their money was taken from their account, they were fined, and they received a negative mark. I filed no such complaint, I received no refund, and have not returned the product. I value my relationship with this seller which has been damaged, and he has suffered harm as well.
Desired outcome: Immediate response.
Item not received
Ordered a dvd on Feb24. Item number 193913636213. The expected delivery date was March 4th. Today is March 19 and I have not received the dvd. I contacted the seller twice and he has not responded. Please assist with this matter. Thank you.
ebay
beware of ebays new policies for sellers since the mail is moving very slowly and this company although should realize this gives buyers back all their money if they call customer service when mail is moving slow because of covid complications. This is done even though in my case tracking was given and items were said to be moving slower and would be getting to destinations slower. So some inpatient buyers call them they take out money out of your paypal accounts and in my case went into my bank account for funds. When the items get to the buyers and show they were delivered they still do not return your money. On top of that they still charge the seller fees and paypal fees without returning these fees and also give you item defects even though you did your job exactly as you were supposed to.Most often you cant get to them by phone and their email system is scripted and will never help you one bit. If you try to call the numbers in our country in California for a manager or CEO they have not beemn available for years and you can never reach a representative in USA now in years. The USPS takes no responsibility either for this and so USPS gets there money Ebay gets there money, Pay Pal gets there money, the buyers then get there items for free and have no problem not caring or refunding you the money.I have been a member at ebay 19 yrs and not once have heard a good thing from sellers about this company. The only good thing is that everyone knows their name but it is clear they have no care about participating fraud and theft. I hope all that reads this will take your business elsewhere and not be involved with them at all
ordered a case to fit a glowlight plus reader, and it was too small
Back in January (end) I ordered a Nook Glowlight Plus case for a Nook reader for my Mother. Was delivered to my mothers address on Jan. 1. Upon opening, she could see right away this was too small. Tried to mail back for a return($4.30for postage), was returned to sender, wrong address. Instead of mailing again I decided to contact directimports ebay, through the email process. Was contacted right away, then the BS started, wanted pictures, asked if i wouldn't keep this, asked for the size of it. I did all this person asked with no results! All I asked for was a self addressed envelope with postage to send it back for a swap or monies credited back. Oh no, was not going to happen with this vendor. I'm very disappointed in EBAY at this point in time and doubt if ill ever use it again. This the information on the vendor I could find: directimports1899/Wynnewood, PA. rajoh-1918 was email name.
Desired outcome: Would appreciate a return envelope(postage paid) so i can send back for a full refund(plus the $4.30 I paid for the postage)
Billing me for item not sold!
My name is John Tyler - tyler4255 is my Ebay login. I sold a Canon 70-D camera bundle, but the buyer wanted his money back. EBAY debited my Paypal account for $451.00 and returned the Buyer's full refund to him.
They then are sending me an invoice to pay for the item never sold.
In fact, it is still re-listed on EBAY.
Invoice Number- [protected]
Item # [protected] - $42.60 fee for the Camera that EBAY made me refund the Buyer
Item # [protected] - $19.23 for shipping fee that I also refunded to Buyer
Item # [protected] - "Final Value on Shipping" - $2.50
John Tyler

Desired outcome: I want this Invoice deleted and not charged to my credit card on file with EBAY
Very typical, and it is impossible to reach them to talk about it!
Extreme progressive bias
Well I never thought I'd see it happen that ebay would actually take a progressive position on such a thing as Dr. Seuss, Books we have all read since their day of arrival in our schools.
But I guess it shouldn't be a surprise that you would side with those who think they have the right to decide who can see, eat, read, admire, produce, invent etc... After all Google & Amazon are doing, right ?
No lets decide that how America was born and how Americans made America is no longer to be proud. Lets erase the history of our nation and let those who have never ever gotten their hands dirty doing real work, Those who have never crossed this country. Served in the military to defend this nation. Those who look at our world and instead of seeing the progress of man himself. they preferer to see the past failures and discrepancies of man instead. They Judge our nation on its growth and independence and miscarriage's of our past as though we have not learned from them. Sadly in part that may be true. but its not exclusive to one race or one nation of people. A society that refuses to accept the difference within their own societies is doomed to fail. You Ebay have just greatly contributed to that pending failure to the greatest nave ever thought of and defended by the greatest of generations, until now. Cancel culture works both ways but that seems to escape many, including you. Who will you cancel next, The sale of the constitution Of The united states ?
Desired outcome: Stop being dicks, everyone not a fkn progressive [censored]
ebay customer service and bank charges
I am a new seller (nov 2020)
My account was put on HOLD and Suspension twice for no real reason
Ebay put a sale of funds on hold, while they put my account in suspension and to clear it up
I did as they requested all my id, scanned in proof of license and utility bills. Ebay then reinstated my account within 5 days. However the buyer during that period didn't receive his item and he paid paypal. but during this period ebay put my funds on hold during the process of suspension
The buyer requested a refund and I told him I didn't receive the money and to contact ebay.
Ebay customer service told me to go to the account and refund the buyer and said ebay will correct it.
Instead of correcting the hold of funds, they took the 81.94 directly out of my bank account. I was never paid for the sale and ebay took the money out of my bank account anyway. I have been on many long calls with chat and customer service and emails from [protected]@ebay.com claiming they will correct the matter. Not only did I never receive the money for the sale, ebay has also charged my bank account another 17.85 for fees for the sale! The account is still on suspension and I have not heard back from ebay for 3 weeks, they requested detailed info on the buyer and item #, date of sale etc and I also scanned copies of paypal and my bank account proving I never received the money from the buyer and proved ebay had the funds on HOLD, all the time.
I have yet to hear from ebay to return the money they have taken out of my bank account. Not only is this frustrating, ebay sent me an email today that they are invoicing me for fees for the sale!
Ebay is majorly frustrating for sellers with all their holds on the funds from sales, and now they directly take moneys out of my bank account
Your service
I will never buy anything again from your company due to the fact that you are banning Dr. Seuss books. It is an utter disgrace that you are doing this, when you can purchase clear items of hate through your company. Shame on you. For you to bend to the will of a few idiots shows your contempt for the average American citizen. It is also absurd that you have to satisfy a number of characters for a complaint to garner attention. Why have you decided to get involved in social issues? I could see if it were something atrocious, but Dr. Seuss? Dr. Seuss books have taught love, kindness and inclusivity to children for generations. In world with so much hate, why would you attack these beautiful books as if they were something to be feared and hated? What you have chosen to do shows what a hypocritical organization you truly are. I pray you see the error of what you have done and reverse your stance on the removal of these wonderful books. If not, I am sure you will lose huge amounts of patronage.
Desired outcome: For you to apologize and reverse your decision, and have a backbone to stand up to liberal ridiculousness.
Jacket purchase
EBAY Seller trngu7032
I bought a jacket on eBay months ago it took me forever to get it once I got it it was too small they said this is my fault because they had a size chart well their size chart run small apparently because I ordered a size up and it still did not fit the seller will not take any returns or give any refunds so I am out $80 and eBay will not help so they are not honoring their money back guarantee this is a very bad company I would advise anyone out there not to order on eBay but to use Amazon they are fabulous and honor their words
Desired outcome: REFUND
Dr. Seuss Books
I have been a customer for many years. I have decided to boycott your company. It is a very sad decision in my opinion that you have decide to take certain Dr. Seuss books. I believe this is going to hurt your company more than you are anticipating. I am sorry you have become part of the ridiculous over reaching "Cancel Culture." Bye Bye Ebay!
Sincerely,
Veronica Knott
Desired outcome: Put the books back on the market.
I totally agree. I just filed a complaint regarding the banning of Dr. Seuss books too. This Cancel Culture is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t believe that the number of people that are outraged over Dr. Seuss books would be greater than those of us that adore them. It is like people are trying to take out anything good, kind and compassionate. I pray for our Country.

evga geforce rtx 3080 xc3 ultra 10gb gddr6x graphics card
Based in United States, buyersellerbuyerseller has been an eBay member since Jan 14, 2017
This seller listed the item below, which one would think is a real computer graphics card, turns out it is a PICTURE of one. This listing should NEVER have been allowed to be posted under the computer section, if this scammer wants to sell pictures there is a place for that under "EBAY ART"

buyersellerbuyerseller (4) | Seller's other items
This person listed this item under the "Computers, Parts, GPU" section not under the "EBAY ART" section where it should have been listed if the seller is selling a picture and not electronic parts. I unknowingly bid on and won this item believing I was purchasing a real computer graphics card, only to find out after that I had been scammed. It is not enough for a "seller" to finally tell a potential buyer that the item is not in fact a video card but only a picture buried deep down in the fine print of the item description. I was in the computer parts GPU section for a reason, and that was to purchase a real video card not a picture, if I wanted a picture I would have been in the Art section. This seller is committing fraud, do not try to stand on the detail that "well it did say it was a picture" when that information as you know is buried deep in the listing, and should not have been listed where it was. I have a case for fraud as the item never should have been listed as a computer/electronic device or item anyway. Your idiot service perpetrating fraud and allowing scammers and criminals to defraud actual customers
I did not knowingly intend to purchase a picture of a computer graphics card.
EBAY is allowing fraud to take place on its website.
Desired outcome: I want my money back
Thermopylae relief wrap ultra
I ordered this item from seller corrine 21. The item arrived defect. It would not heat or massage right out of the package. I went onto purchase history & used "returns" option to fill out a request for a full refund. I am told by eBay by email that the seller is not obligated to give refund. They advertise a "money back guarantee" on their website. I want my full refund.
Desired outcome: Full refund for item $27.99 for item, $3.63 tax & $11.50 shopping for defective item
Misleading item location
I purchased item [protected] on Feb 17 from a seller that listed the item location as Altadena CA . I'm in WA. I chose this seller because Altadena is only 2-3 days shipping to WA. A day after I paid for the item I got FedEx notification that the item would arrive Feb 20.Then I got updated tracking notification that it would ship from New Jersey and a new delivery date of 2-26. It is 2-27 and the Fedex tracking shows it is in Mn. I have complained to EBotched and they in a chat transcript SR-1-[protected] agreed that the seller violated eBay's policies and they have taken corrective action. NOT SO! I have checked on this seller's other listings and he still show the misleading location as Altadena. So Ebay has also mislead me. I may never buy from ebay again because the have lied to me and failed to correct problems with sellers from China that game the system by using item locations in the USA when they ship from China.
Desired outcome: Take the corrective action to require that r sellers to truthfully show the item location
Total Lack of Customer Service
Even though I have MAJOR concerns about the new ebay pay system, I, and others, HAD to sign up. Just a few months into this "servivce", ebay screws up my payout date...They apparently did the same for many sellers, according to a phone rep I spoke with, yet, no announcement was made...My Tuesday payout was moved to the following Tuesday...I spent 5 hours on the phone with what ebay claims is customer service until this issue was semi-resolved..5 hours of being hung up on, disrespected and lied to...Finally, my issue was semi-resolved...Maybe...Is this all ebay can offer? My fees have certainly increased, however, the customer service at the site has gotten worse...MUCH MUCH MUCH worse...Ebay should be ashamed to even offer help if this is as good as they can muster...And whomever told the phone reps to say are sorry should be fired...NO ONE at ebay is sorry about their pathetic customer service, because it NEVER improves...EVER
Desired outcome: I WANT MY MONEY ASAP
Typical of a fully automated company. You cannot reach anyone to resolve problems. The only way to get a response is to sue locally.
Chat person "bong" is a jerk
I listed an item for auction with a buy it now option. When the first bid arrived, the buy it now option went away. I was not aware this would happen and so went on customer service chat. "Bong" let me know that the policy was that the first bid cancelled out the buy it now option. I stated I did not know or like this policy, as it would allow the first .99 cent bidder to ruin the opportunity for future viewers. He said he would bring it to management attention and would I consider that OK. I told him I should reconsider selling on EBAY and he wrote "yes, you should reconsider that".
Desired outcome: Bong needs counseling
eBay sellers on payment holds
They keep your money and bank it for days before releasing payment. Ponzi scheme anyone?

Ebay control of seller's money high fees
Ebay is now requiring sellers to keep their money with ebay and eliminating paypal. Ebay hold sellers money for 4 - 6 days before the seller has access to his money. Paypal was instant. Ebay also decides when the sellers can have their money. They do not allow the seller to keep a portion in the account to cover fees and shipping. The person who designed this obviously does not balance a check book. Ebay system is a bookkeeper nightmare.
Desired outcome: Give sellers control of their money.
I agree 100%. EBay announced this farce saying it would be an overall better experience for both buyers and seller. What a joke. Lower fees. What a joke. Instead of a total of 12.35% +$0.35 per transaction on the selling price including shipping, and paying eBay 10% of the sales tax, sellers are now paying 12.35% of the total including sales tax plus $0.35. In states such as Illinois where the sales tax is 8.5%, it makes your effective fees 13% or more on items not exceeding $7500.
As for the statement above concerning the processing times I could not agree more. EBay bought Paypal, forced them down everyone's throat, owned them for a couple tears, then signed a 5 year agreement for Paypal to continue back end processing. In that 7 year span, eBay learned nothing from the company they knew was short term. With Paypal, you got paid and had access to your funds almost immediately. You could use the funds to make purchases, or you could decide when, where and how much you wanted to withdraw. You could have funds in your bank account in minutes for a 1% fee, You could have it in you account in 1-3 days for free. Or you could spend it immediately to generate more fees for eBay. Now with our "better overall experience" you have one choice and that choice is to wait close to a week for eBay to "process" your payment and transfer your funds. I recently sold an item on Thurs evening PST (still within eBay's customer service hours) and as of writing this (Sun night PST) this funds are still "processing". I think "processing" is eBay speak for drawing interest. How can Paypal, Venmo, Zelle and many other funds processing services get done in minutes, sometimes even seconds, what eBay takes days to accomplish. IMHO, another money grab by a large corporation at the expenses of its inconsequential patrons. My eBay selling days are quickly coming to their end.
I have not received a purchase I made in December 2020 for $71.89
I made a purchase from bargainbinmedia for cds. My purchase was made the middle of December 2020 in the amount of $71.89.
Order #[protected] [protected]
If I do not receive either the merchandise or refund, I will have my bank refund the money to me and they can go after bargainbinmedia.
Sincerely
Kathleen Hubbard
